Sub: Problem with front suspension.

Dear Sir,

I bought a new Swift Dzire in Febraury 2009. When I drove it in the first week itself I noticed abnormal noise from the front suspension. Whenever the car goes over a hump or a pot hole the front suspension makes some metal rubbing noise. I reported it to the dealer (Bimal Auto, Bangalore) and he promised me that he would take care of it in the first service and if needed he would replace the parts. During the first service they did something and the noise did not come for a month and then satrted coming again.

So when I contacted the dealer they said that they would take care in the next service (5000 kms). I have finished that service too and the problem persists.

The dealer say that it is a design problem and it is there in all the swift. Even MUL is aware of this and they have an instruction to just grease the part during service and send it back.

I have bought a car after investing 7 laks and I do not have noises like a bullock cart when I drive it. What is alarming is the way MUL has handled it. They know there is a problem and instead of resolving it, they are making there customers live with it.

On checking with many other swift Dzire users, I found they too have the problem.

I want to get some resolution to this issue. MUL should recall this item, and refit an appropraite one with a good design.

To, manager, maruti udyog limited. Respected sir, i am mr. Reddy booked swift car .They did not give me my vehicle on promised date.They gave it to others whom i know very well.They booked just few days before delivery by taking bribe of rs.50000 .I am maruti lover since 20 years .Now i completly lost faith in maruti.I heard this is taking place sice swift is launched.I expect they might have earn lakhs in collecting bribe only.Plz help us.Key accused person here shahid and ahmed(Owners).Please conduct secret enquiry with knowing them and catch them redhanded u will only know about them.Please save us i am maruti fan.Dont neglect till many are ruined.Considered it seriously.

Recently we bought a Used Wagon-R From RajSneah True Value, Meerut.
Before Buying the car we were assured about the car that it will be thoroughly checked by the true value and all the problems will be ratified by the true value people.We were also told that if any problem will come it will arise it will also be taken care by Raj Sneh True value.
When we went there for the delivery of the car we found that car is not even washed properly, many parts were not functioning properly, after finding some faults we were asked to send the car for washing.Even after visit to the true value centre for trice they did not give us the service booklet, for a very long time after making number of call to true value people they gave it to us after almost 45 days.
When we sent our car for servicing after 60 days we were told that to ratify all the problem in the car we will have to pay 10, 000 Rs.And after checking the online status of the repair work done by the true value to our surprise we found that except washing of the car nothing has been done to remove all the problems before delivering the car to us.

I want to know are these checks about which we were told before buying the car only to make fool of people or if not why not all the faults are repired off the car when true value people konw about these faults.

A maruti omni van with reg:no:kl-17-e - 7786 under my ownership was given to true value piravom branch of the indus motors muvattupuzha (Dist) kerala in exchange to maruti wagone r car about 8months ago but the name of the owner of the maruti van has not been changed in the rc book so far inspite of my repeated requestes
I therefore request you to take uregent steps to write the name of the present owner of the vechile in place of my name in the rcbook

“BEWARE OF THE MARUTI PRODUCTS”
I have purchased a Maruti Suzuki Swift Dezire VDI from their dealer with the name as Rohan Motors, Mathura Road, Delhi on dated 09th Feb. 2011. After running 450 km, on dated 13th Feb. 2011 when I was alongwith my family out of Delhi, there was some sound from the engine of the said car at an unknown place which was 45 km away from Disst. Rohtak, Haryana. I'd contacted to their executives i.e. Maruti Suzuki/Rohan Motors and made 30-40 calls to them but I'd got no satisfactory response from them and lastly you stated me that you are unable to provide me their services at that place and backed up from their promises.
After that, anyhow, I managed the contact number of Regional Head of Maruti Suzuki, based at Chandigarh and contacted him by dialing his number. I got surprised when he put a straight forward his question at the first moment as from whom you had got my number. It was really disgusting that a person who is duty bound to help me after listening my problem regarding my newly purchased car; he is putting such type of silly questions besides helping me!
Ultimately, after a long period of seven days, you replaced the short engine only at Rohtak itself instead of replace that car which was having the manufacturing problem. Whereas you are duty bound either to replace the defective car or to call back the defective car to their factory and after proper quality check up of the same and other required treatment with it, the same should be available to be run on the road.
And again after 9 days i.e. on dated 2nd March 2011 at 20:30 pm of replacement of engine, I have faced the problem again with the car.
After calling the MOS (serial no.423 Maruti on Road Service) of Maruti, I came to know that now the problem is over heaten of the engine in the said brand new purchased car, you Top up the water in radiator and instruct me to inspect the car to workshop. This is really ridicules to me for 2nd time on road within 20 days with that said car with defects.
I have sent the mail to senior officials of Maruti which is Plant Head India and to. Mr. Shuji Oishi, Director of Suzuki, Japan but till yet I’ve got no response from either side. It is really causing harassment to me as well as my family.
So, please provide me the justice or give any advice what can I do? Either I will surrender the car to you so that you may scrap it or let it pull into fire or hell.
Although, it was my bad luck that I'd purchased a Maruti Product after getting false assurances from Maruti regarding the good quality of their product, but anyhow, I want to explain in crux which are as follows for the buyers who are planning to buy the Maruti product:
1. The products of Maruti are not good of quality and you seem like LOCAL JUGAAR;
2. The service of MOS (MARUTI ON ROAD SERVICE) is not up to mark that is you don't have updated the contact numbers of their partners.
3. If, unfortunately, any problem or issue or defect has taken place, Maruti does not agree to take ownership of the said defect etc.
4. Senior Officials are used to flee from their customers and don't want to talk with them regarding the problems arisen in vehicle/product.

1. I purschased a True Value Maruti Alto from VArun Motors on 6th Sept. The car was delivered without inspection and mandatory checks. The tyre burst on the 4th day while driving on the highway. The spare wheel was found punctured. The pollution check was not done. The wheel balancing and wheel alignment was not done. The car was not even cleaned before delivery.

2. I gave MAruti Esteem LXi for service to Varun Motors on 7th October after coordinating with Mr Rao, GM of Varun Motors. All details were explained to Mr Karunakar while handing over the car. The car was to be returned on Monday 11th. They promised to call back on Monday to reconfirm. Till afternoon no call. Then I called and was informed that the car would be delivered next day. I had to reschedule my appointments and drive 30 kms when I was finally informed this - too late. Next day car was to be delivered by 1500 hrs. Again a call was promised by Mr Rao. No call received. I had to call 5 times, each time to be told they would call back with status. No call. Car was delivered without prior call at 1900 hrs with more than half the work not done.

a) wheel wobbling not corrected
b) paint touch up not done
c) tyre replacement rear left tyre - not done
d) shocker check and service - replace if required - not done
e) body sound - not corected
f) Car not cleaned before delivery. Mud inside.
g)Parking light cracked - to be replaced (as recommended by mr Karunakar) - not done.

I am amazed at the apathy and total lack of service and ownership by Varun Motors. They deliver cars without addressing safety issues repeatedly.

I Ms.Mainka Singh, Judicial Magistrate, Sirsa, (Haryana) had booked for the car swift dzire zdi (white) on 14/5/2012 with the maruti dealer Shakti Motors Pvt.Ltd. Sirsa. Despite being assured that i will get the delivery of the car in the month of August 2012, but now that it is November to come, yet to my great disappointment, neither have I received the car nor have knowledge of its tentative date of delivery. I have been facing troubles in my day to day official as well as private life. Perhaps, it is onjy because i trusted the brand Maruti Suzuki !

myself Raj Kumar Makkad, Lawyer and i had booked a maruti suzuki swift vdi on may 27, 2010 in the name of my wife Mrs. Sushma with a booking amount of 20000 at JAGMOHAN MOTORS, BHIWANI (HARYANA). At the time of booking i was assured by the branch head that i will get my car delivery within 2 months so i got my bank financed demand draft accordingly. When i contacted the branch head after 2 months he started making excuses that there is shortage and extended the delivery date. From that day he is extending the delivery date further. Its almost 3 months now from the booking date and i am very dissatisfied by this response and facing economic problem too as i am paying the bank loan from the date of its withdrawl from bank. I also came to know from reliable sources that the car is available in branch.
I request you to look into this.matter and help me.

I booked Swift Dzire Vdi with M/s Berkeley Auto, Chandigarh on 20th March i.e. 6 days before official launch of the vehicle. The dealer promised early delivery and I paid Rs.50000/- booking amount. Till date I have not been given delivery
and the dealer is not even giving any firm date of delivery. I contacted Maruti''s Customer Care and their Regional Office at Chandigarh but have not received any response/help from them.

As I have sole my old vehicle, I am feeling a lot of inconvenience without vehicle moreso when the temperatures have gone up and it is very hard to go out without the vehicle. I''m feeling helpless and at the mercy of dealer for delivery of vehicle.

i have a maruti Swift diesel VDI, registration no HR 51 AH 2676.This car;s battery is not working so we went to maruti centre, Vipul motors limited, faridabad for complaint.they said battery is under warranty and will be replaced .so we left car with them on 11/10/2011.
today they are saying this will take minimum 4 days and may take 1 month also as by manager of this centre.we asked them to give us some old battery for time being, which they refused.
Is this indirect way of saying that you have to purchase battery inspite of being under warranty period otherwise you have to wait for long period which is almost impossible .i am also not understanding why batteries are not available with maruti but they are available all over the world .

please clarify .

Dear Sir, I had purchased the above mentioned car on the said date which is just before few months. As there was noise in the said vehicle after crossing the speed of 80 kmph and for the same we had shown the car at Kataria on dated [protected] and after verifying the same they had stated that now it is repaired. As normally in Ahmedabad city it is very rare to cross the speed of 80kmph but once I was going from highway and as I cross the speed of 80kmph the same sound was coming, therefore in the second service once again I had informed the Kataria motors about the same problem on dated 6/6/2010 and they had return the car on dated 7/6/2010 with the statement that now it is repaired. And on very next day when I had check the car, there was noise coming at the speed after 80 kmph. Once again I went to Kataria on dated 9/6/2010, they had kept the car under their observation and return it back on 10/6/2010 and said that it is repaired but said problem was still there. On dated 13/6/2010 we once again went to Kataria and met Mr. Chetan and discuss about the noise problem after discussion he kept the car in the Kataria for two days and return it back by their technician at my place but when I checked the car in front of the technician, the noise was coming therefore we had informed Mr. Shailesh regarding the same, he told me to bring the a car at Kataria for further inspection on dated 17/6/2010. On dated 17/6/2010 I went to Kataria as per their instruction and they had kept the said car for the further inspection and when I called him on dated 19/6/2010they told me that they are not able to resolve the problem, so they will inform the company on Monday and when the concerned engineer comes from the company at his convenience then he will check the care and thereafter they will inform me about the further course of action. I am very mush surprised that when one customer facing the above mentioned problem in a new car and your persons are not able to repair the noise problem and on the contrary they always return the car with the statement that your car is repaired wherever it was never repaired and it is in the same condition. First thing is that why they are lying to me when they return the car and secondly why your dealer or the company is not worried about the customer who had purchased the car just before the few months back and thirdly who will compensate the time which is literally wasted due to your unprofessional approach to the customer and at last i was never expect the such a approach from Marauti For this time waiting for earliest reply and quick action in the said matter. I have purchased swift LDI on dated 12/05/2010 from Vipul Motors Pvt. Ltd, Gurgaon. From the fast day I am facing a problem in back wheel balancing, both the tyre is not in proper shape. For that I have complained so many times to Vipul motors but till today I have not got any positive response from there side.

dear sir, i brought a new maruti swit vdi car from prem motors pvt ltd jaipur. at the time of delivery they did not the deliver the car on the delivery order issued by sunderm finance jaipur to me. they want cash payment from me. if i have cash for car then why i have to finance this car from finance company. but how & how i got the car at 5th of may 2009 at 9.30pm in night. now my car is noising badly like as a old car. i complante about this to prem motors pvt ltd jaipur. but they did not done anything. they call me and call my car at their service senter many time. i m living at 60 km distance from pem motors pvt ltd. sir, i lost 3000 thousand ruppes in this prosses for fuel and toll tax.
dear sir, my car is doing noise from front side, dess board, full body vibrating, n trabble sound is on when i drive my car.

if the authorised delear can't service the car then why they sold he car. it's a very rudly police of maruti suzuki.
if maruti suzuki will not solve our problem then they will lose their sell.

I booked a Swift Lxi model booked. same has not been delivered so far inspite of the fact that about 4 months have already passed. repeated enquires with Dealer reflect that the manufacturer has not bothered to despatch Lxi model to Dealer although they have repeatedly sent the demand to Maruti Suzuki from time to time. very very poor response by Maruiti. a separate complaint was also lodged with Maruti on their Mobile complaint number about a month back but same remain unresponded.

Dear sir

This is to inform you that we have given my maruti WAGON R (HR 13C 6333) on dated 06/05/11 for accidental repairing at marketing times bahadurgarh.But it is pity to say that till date there is no information from the vendor regarding status of its repairing.It is shamful to say that that your dealer at bahadurgarh not only defaming your brand name but harrasing your esteemed customer also.

How can you tolerate such a negative response when there is so many competitors in the market.In such a scenario how can you claim to be leader in this segment.Moreover on my visit on 17.05.11 I was shocked to see that painting and denting was not upto the level.It seems that they are using low quality paint.This is nothing but trying to put black spot on the name of "MARUTI SUZUKI".

Last but not the least, the staff in service section & insurance section is so rude in talking and behaviour that no one will turn second time if such services will be given.

I being a loyal customer of MARUTI SUZUKI (As I always prefer this brand) request your goodself to look into the matter and take all stringent action against the defaulters.Your early response/action will be highly appreciated.

I had booked a Ritz Vxi (Blaze Blue colour) from Spectra Motors, Ghatkopar on 20th December 2010 on assurance form the dealer that i will benefit from the safety of price rise, they wil confirm my booking on the basis of the prevailing rates of December 2010. But till date i haven't heard from you regarding the delivery timelines of the car. The concerned executive doesnot bother returning my calls and on contacting them, I am told that for cancellation of the booking, please visit out showroom! This is crazy! I purchased a swift Dizire on 10-03-2010 since that time I have problem in Klutch realese system . I made a complaint to the dealer but they refuse to any problem, Insted they do washing & gave the vehicle back. this happend 3-4 times.

To whome it may concern. i have purchased car maruti swift vdi on 18th oct 2010.from nashik Automotive. and i have not receive uptill now the bills of car. i have made full payment with cheque.and i am geeting debit receipt.insted of bills .asserious are been fited from automotive only.asserious bills are also not provided to.us our sales person.mr.vinayak khurse.nashik automotive.is not giving response to us .so its a calm request to pls provide bill to us.other wise we will go news as well as consumer court. that this type of haresment is provided to coustmer.after seeling the car.please do not book any car from automotive pvt ltd. car booked on the name of dinker.parekh.

I purchased the Maruti Alto in March 2006. There is some problem in my car. I am getting some noise near to front wheels. So many times I complaints to Maruti service station but still I did not get any solution. So many times i sent email regarding my vehicle to Maruti customer care but still I did not any response from them. It is very negligible response that I got from Maruti Suzuki.

Gauravjeet singh s/o Piara singh r/o Ghall kalan dist--moga had purchased an SWIFT VDI ABS from Baba autos Ferozepur in the month of April 2011 as the car was booked in July 2010 for Rs 50000/- with great difficulty the car was delevered to me as the full and final payment was made to the dealership but still the bills are not being provided, on confirming from the manager Baba autos zira he said as the car is delevered in moga district there is a problem in Issuing the bills .
If this is the matter it should be thought at the time of delevery now I the request you to please intervene into the matter and see that the bills are issued to me as soon as possible
The name of the reputed auto mobile industry is being lashed down to ashes by such dealers, I hope if such is the matter how will the customer come to the showrom of such dealers

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have booked a maruti suzuki eeco 5 seater AC model 2012 on the 12th of Jan.2012 and I gave 5000/- rs. as booking amount to the executive(Mr.Jyoti Bajpai) for which I am having a receipt also.The next day I transfered the rest whole amount(Rs.3, 58, 850/-) of the vehicle in the bank account of coral motors, bareilly in their account in Punjab National bank.I was told by the TSM Mr.Harsh Gupta that i will get the delivery by the 17th of jan.2012 definetely, but till today there is no response from coral motors and I have not still got my delivery.From morning I am trying to talk to Mr. Harsh Gupta too but he is not giving any response..Kindly note down my complaint...

I have booked Maruti Swift DIZIRE(ZXI) midnight black on 1.6.10 at ABT MARUTI, COIMBATIRE . At the time of the booking i have been told and ginem in writting that I will get the delievery in 3 months time. .Now after booking, it is 3 months and 15 days past .Till now i havnt recieved the delievery of the car..and even the dealer is not sure when they can give the delievery. They just said that this car is in waitin... i dont understand HOW MUCH SHOULD A CUSTOMER WAIT..

I just want that my concern will be resolved..!

I have purchased Maruti Swift from Batra Automobiles, Faridabad app 6 months back. At that time I have given them Rs 8200 for registration. But at the delivery time they asked me for more money and I refused to do so. when I demanded my money back then sales man said that amount will be delivered back to you with in a week. But still that amount is not refunded to me. Whenever I go there they asked for 1-2 days. Now that sales man has resigned and Batra Automobiles is saying that we had given your money to sales man, pls collect from him.
I have given money to Batra not sales man. Why I collect my money back from sales man. Who is answerable for my money.

I have purchased maruti 800 dated on 16 th march 2010 at Jaikrishnaa auto sales pvt ltd in coimbatore. Vehicle reg no TN 37 BH 2012. I have completed three free services regularly at sree saradhambal auto mobiles, namakkal. While taking delivery at the 3rd free service, I noticed the complaint
in steering and wheel alignment. I informed the same to the servicing centre. But they convinced me and assured that fault will be rectified in the next service. The tyre (front right ) fully worn out at 13, 800 km. I requested them to change the tyre but they refused. Kindly do the needful.

I noticed same problem of abnormal noise in front suspension of my Dzire VDI from around 5000 kms.

i have purchased maruti suzuki zxi model in this car the steering is not proper and the car running on the pumping on the road . so pls solve the problem and pls send our company engineers in pandit auto mobiles in saharanpur (u.p) my contact no. [protected]

Third class suspension system obtained in Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, It is as similar as Autoricksaw. Comfert level finished after 40, 000 kms. I m experience a similar problem in my New Dzire in just 20 months.
Dealer doesnt answer and cant identify the problem.

I have purchased Swift Dzire in Feb 2014, within 5000 km i found same kind of problem in right side front suspension, next week iam going for my 2nd service lets see what will be the solution to me by dealer, but earlier i was using swift pertrol and found sound from suspension when i open the power stearing assembely found there was plastic bushes were used by company to hold both ends of suspension, and due to indian road condition bushes comes out from both ends of rack and pinion, cost of that part was approx 32K i fixed them from market with metal bushes then car become fine but after 25000 Km again bushes needs to refixed. If i found same reason in my new swift dzire also then company needs to take care about such things.

Hi All,

I too own a New Swift Dzire VDI bought last year in May, While i move the car from halt parking it in slant position, Early mornings i get that metal scrubbing sound like Cut ... Kut which i really hate. i too have complained to the dealer but of no use. Maruti take something needful immediately.

sir i booked my new Alto ( BLACK ) from T R SAWAHNEY, MAIN WAZIRABAD ROAD, GOKULPURAM, DELHI ON 20 MAY AND MY LOAN AMOUNT 230000 IS TRANSFER ON 29 MAY BUT STILL I AM WAITING ... WHY THEY ARE DOING LATE I DONT KNOW, WHEN I CALLED THEN DIDNOT PICK MY CALL SO PLEASE SIR DO SOME NECESSARAY ACTION REGARDING THIS MATTER.

Yes, i too have the same problem in my Dzire. I bought my new car in march 2013. My vehicle was making this noise since its first week running itself. noise like metal rubbing with the metal in the front shocker
