Marshalls products mislabeled and not honoring the price

Hi,
My name is Kim Tran and my e-mail address is [protected]@gmail.com. I encountered mislabeled for one products that I was buying at Costa Mesa Marshalls at Metro Point. The items was clearly marked for $49.99 and other same products was marked for higher price at $69.99. I brought it up tp Rocio, the manager at the time (5/2/2017 @ 10:30am). However, instead of helping, the manager arguing wirh me about price mistake and change it to higher Price. This is totally wrong on the Manager. She is really bad. She shouldn't be the manager and need to take more Customer Care courses. In all, instead of $200 dollars sale, it ends up with nothing and Very Upset Loyal Customer. I usually don't complaint, but in this case the manager is way out of her customer service.

Kim

Marshalls poor services and uneducated associate

it's been the third time this week I have been disrespected by one of the coordinator by the Name of Jasmine C. the young lady has been really disrespectful with an unfriendly attitude and using some cussed words, some people shouldn't be working in customer service or cashier if you are uneducated, I hope the store manager fix that issue and I know I'm not the only one complaining about this matter some of my colleagues have been unfairly treated by that young lady Jasmine C

Marshalls customer service

I went to the Marshall's Dept. Store at Northa Dekalb Mall in Decatur, GA. I put something on hold a few hours earlier. I went back to purchase the items that I put on hold. I walked in the store at 9:29. I was happy to arrive just in the nick of time to purchase my items. I went to stand in line as there were approximately 9 people in line. A lady, I believe was the manager Erica, yelled at me and stated that they were closed. I told her that o was not there to shop and that I was just going to pick something up that I placed on hold. She refused to provide assistance in spite of the fact that there were others waiting to make a purchase. I have never felt so disrespected and humiliated. There was no harm in allowing me to make that purchase. The manager was very rude and unprofessional. I've been shopping at Marshall's for 20 plus years, I've never received such dishonorable treatment. I'd like to speak with something in upper management.

Marshalls trump products

I understood that you were no longer carrying Trump products. Now I learn that you still carry them but just do not display them.

I want to be clear. I will no longer shop at any T.J. Maxx or Marshall Dept. stores as long as you are selling any Trump products.

When I know that to be true, I look forward to shopping with you again.

I now understand that this message is not long enough, so I will again make myself clear: NO MORE TRUMP PRODUCTS EVER !

Should have guessed! From Portland, OR- the stupidest people on earth! Well I won't shop at your stores if you DON'T carry Trump products so take your pick. Are you going to be blackmailed or stick up for a very decent, lovely young woman has been doing everything good for women and children. Hey Portland, I hope you don't have any kids cuz they will turn out really nasty! It takes a good man to turn out kids like those--no one in that family drinks, smokes, does drugs, cusses. They have lovely manners and all successful and hard working not just for themselves but charities as well.

Marshalls not impressed with marshalls

I don't know why are there so many good reviews about this store, it's absolutely terrible and I don't find anything special about it. I made an order here and received an incorrect item and had to waste my time and return it for a refund. Their rep was very pushy, he tried to assure me that refund was a bad choice and tried to offer me a replacement. Even when I told him that I'm not interested he kept offering me a replacement.
It took more than a week until they finally agreed to give my money back. I will not deal with this troublesome company ever again, they are absolutely terrible and unprofessional! I do not recommend Marshalls.

Marshalls sandals came apart after two use

I purchase a pair of sandals in late May, yes I worn them at least twice and they started to come apart. I noticed that I should returned them on July 10th. I talked with manager Judy Busch which is seventy years old and a sales associate. Nancy is about far the worst, no people skills and no customers service skills. The manager stated that she couldn't do anything about it and I couldn't returned them nor get a store credit. I asked her what can you do once again, she did not give me any options. I then told them I need something. The two of them them gave me the 1800 Marshalls, I stated I need more contact information. I need to talk with an area manager. Judy refused to give me her area manager. After Nancy walked away, I talked loudly about the I need a contact information to resolved this issue. Judy never stated once, I am sorry for not being able to do anything for you. Judy is a piece of mess and seventy years of age need to go rock her chair and allow a young and vibrate young person to served problem. Judy lacks all skills dealing with people, her team, customers and leading manager. I will no longer shop with TJ Maxx and Marshall for this experience. I will continued to shop at JC Penney and Ross. I can't deal with some old worn out lady, who do not care for the community that she works or the why she is working there!

How many times do they have to tell you there is nothing they can do for you? Giving you the online option is all they need to do. How about calling the manufacturer of the sandals and complain to them?

Great service at your Huntington Beach, CA store. I left my purse in the shoe department after being helped by ** tremendously. Once I realized it (30 minutes later) it wasn't there. It had been turned in and the front desk couldn't have been nicer. My sister needed help getting a different size in 2 blouses and was sure they wouldn't have a small in another blouse. The young woman who helped found the small and was so great to work with. We will return!

Marshalls discriminating behavior by the store clerks

My husband was not allowed into the family fitting room due to the store policy. We were told that I can take my one year old with me into the fitting room. It is difficult to try on clothes when my baby wants me to pick him up. Also, if I wanted my husband to see how an outfit looks, I would have to leave my baby in the room by himself, or carry him out every time (he was sitting in a stroller). Our son stayed with my husband outside the fitting room area. Every time I came out to show how an outfit looks and then left, our son started crying. It was extremely stressful trying out clothes. I felt we were discriminated as a family. The manager Andrea said she could not let us in the family fitting room because this was the store policy. In one year of my son's life this was the first time my husband, my baby and I were not allowed in the same fitting room. Andrea was very room, and said we can leave and not shop there if we don't like it. We left without me finishing trying out all the outfits. I am still very upset about the incident. I do not plan to come back to this store again. We would rather shop where we are not discriminated. We left the store without looking at some other stuff that we came to look for.

Marshalls I didn't get refund and expanses for the shipping

I bought shorts, t-shirts and summer handbag from www.marshallsonline.com. But the seller sent me only wrong items. The colour of all items was wrong and the size of the shorts wasn’t mine. They were too big for me. Of course, I tried to reach the seller, but this person ignored all my emails. I simply took these items and sent them back, as well as I added a note and asked to provide full refund and expanses for the shipping. But this seller decided to ignore me.

Marshalls olivia jones store number 1071 henderson nv marshall`s

On Thursday around 7.00 pm i was in your store in Henderson Nevada with my wife. I was trying on some clothes in the men`s fitting room area it was completely empty ( there are only two fitting rooms for men and they both were empty). I asked my wife to come in with me in case if i need to exchange something to a different size. She had a visiting tag. We always do that so I don't have to get dressed and then go look for different sizes and come back. The fitting room attended was fine with this as long as there are no other male customers, in which case of course, my wife would leave the fitting room area with no problem.
As we walked in the fitting rooms, miss Olivia Jones shouted to my wife to get out and that she was not allowed in there. My wife said ok and came out. As she was leaving the dressing room, miss Olivia continued to tell my wife that she was not allowed to be in there and that she was on cameras. My wife said ok. A minute later I asked my wife to bring me the item in a different size, so she walked in to grab jeans I was trying on to go get another size for me. Miss Olivia came back to shout at her again that she was not allowed there. My wife said she was just grabbing clothes to go find another size. I got dressed and came out and asked the lady what is the problem for her bringing me clothes. She said it was not permitted, and that my wife, who is a employee with this company but was off duty at that moment, was told by this lady that she would be written up for that and i said she was not on the clock and that its unfair to scream at her or anyone else in front of customers like this. She stood in front of myself and really felt the need to keep arguing and proving her point and how she was RIGHT, she never changed her tone or attitude and stepped even closer in my face and didn't care that there were other customers around.
We stood there in a yelling argument while other customers around where wondering what is going on and why it was her need to yell and scream at a customer. After 5 minutes of this i had just left my things that i was going to buy and walked out and canceled my tj maxx card.
I always heard from my wife who has been working for TJX company for a couple of years now, that TJMaxx and Marshalls are always about great customer service. Well I guess this is not what miss Olivia Jones stands for. This was a very upsetting and unpleasant experience that day. And nobody thought it actually was worth the argument, especially as miss Jones is one of the supervisors at that location and suppose to set an example. It was upsetting to other customers around to hear all that and it was upsetting for us, as we really believe we never violated any rules and the situation wasn't worth the yelling at all. I think either she needs to rewatch a training video on customer service or she needs to be told that customers are the reason why your in business.. i will never shop at your stores again and will let family and friends know plus all social media outlets

Marshalls racists

I had recently went into my favorite local store. Im a frequent shopper there buying items for myself(which is hard to find because im a different size now) and for my newborn. Im shopping around for bras which they didnt have any in my size that where stylish the store manager (MICKIE.N)decides to come from behind me and look in my carrier and say oh she has nice hair (regarding to my newborn which was asleep) then waits at the end of the rack so i go to the pantie section and she goes into that asile and waits. So then i proceed to go into the home good area to see if they have any baby decor and she right beside me this time she starts looking around in the asile but three steps away literally. So now shes making me feel very uncomfortable shes like having a competition with my shadow thats how close she is to me. So i go to the front desk to speak to maybe someone above her a associate asks me if she can assist me the same manager. That was following me around cuts her off puts her hands on the counter and ask may i help you with a attitude so i politely ask her why she has been following (even though i already know the answer im the only colored person in the store which means im automatically stealing) she says she hasnt i had said yes you have even up here to the front desk she says sorry you feel that way i say stop following me its annoying i cant shop in peace and its creepy. So she has someone else follow me so i brought my daughter a outfit and left. I couldnt deal with her ignorant stereotypical self.

Marshalls rude manager

I purchased a cute outfit for our soon to be new born. After putting it aside for a month I realized that the security tag was still attached, by then the receipt was long gone.
Being 9 months pregnant, I had to think twice about returning it, as everything takes quite abit of effort these days.
When I got to the store on Maryland Pkwy, I spoke to the manager - Margie at the front desk who confronted me with 'Do you have the receipt?... Well we cannot remove the security tag'.
I was disgruntled and told her that it was not my fault that Marshalls staff did not do their job correctly.
I was then told that the tag should have beeped when I left the store. This made me feel like I was being labeled as a criminal. I felt embarrassed and upset.
Totally dismissing me, Margee walked off, having said her piece, leaving me standing there with no one but the other check out staff member.
After telling the staff that this lady was unprofessional and rude the lady received a message on her Walky talky advising her to remove the tag. Then Margie - the incompetent Mananger came out of her store room and removed it herself.
Having been a huge advocate of Marshalls and a customer for years, this experience left me totally disgusted and disappointed.
What ever happened to customer service?!?!

Marshalls refused to honor their return policy

On 2/3/14, I visited the hedwig village location here in houston texas trying to return 4 pairs of shoes which are unworn with original tags on. According to their return policy on their website as followed: "our customers continue to be our top priority. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, return the merchandise accompanied by a register receipt within 30 days of purchase, for an exchange or refund. A 10 day period is required for a cash refund on check purchases. Returns with receipts over 30 days or without a receipt will receive store credit only." at the register, I thought the cashier was going to give me the store credit after she carefully examined the condition of the shoes. Instead of doing so, she used a price scanner to scan the items. Afterwards, she told me that she wouldn't be able to issue any store credit because the items I was returning were no longer in their system! Based on their return policy, I am not aware of the fact that they will issue the store credit based on the age of the items. If that is the case, why didn't they state that in their return policy? Their return policy is very misleading and I got an impression that they didn't want to honor it, regardless. All I want is the store credit for what I paid for. If this is how they handle all the returns without receipts, they should have re-written the return policy stating that it will be based on the age of the items.

Marshalls employee hours

I am a current employee in the atlanta, ga. Area and I agree with the employee in the florida area. I have worked for the company for several years and after years of just working, the company did give part-time employees some of the same benefits that the full time employees have. However, the employees that has been there, do the job, care about the work do not get treated fairly when it involves hours given to the new employees. The scheduling manager gives more hours to the newer employees, even though they do less work, cause more work to be done and just do less as possible during their shift. Then they call out often right before their shift and the same managers are calling those employees who want to work, will come to work, not late and rarely call out, to see if they can work that employees shift that called out. The managers constantly push customer service, and they cause some of the customer service problems that we do have. I understand working within the payroll hours, however the employees that has been there longer and willing to work more hours/the hours they have been getting/ will always be cut short and given to those employees that make less money and will do less as possible until their shift ends. The district managers and above really should be reading all of the reviews posted and just talk to all of the employees that work in their district just to know if employees are really happy working in the store and job they are working in. I have had opportunity to review managers without being identified. This helped the overall production of the group. These reviews should be conducted for coaching and development for both managers and associates.

In reply to redhatterb71, that wasn't a very kind response, I applaud the poster for expressing how they feel. I have a masters degree in Human Resource Development and still have poor grammar (even with a 4.0). Would you truly have said that response to someone in person in a professional environment? I think not (the ill affects of social media). Here is some feedback for you, character gets people promoted to next level positions in all fields, not just retail. If I was your manager in whatever line of work you do and saw you posting things like this, I would put you on a developmental action plan. To the poster, retail managers are in a tough position. They have a very close budget to follow which means they must balance hours/pay closely. It is really tough to find good help, but trust me, keep doing fantastic work, taking those extra hours, share your career goals and you will benefit in the long-term through promotion and more pay increase. Hang in there.

Marshalls my 7 year old son's hat was stolen by marshall's employee

I was at Marshall's store shopping with my 7 year old son on Christmas eve at 1:00 pm in the afternoon. As I was looking through the linen section to look for a pillow, I put my shopping cart to rest next to me, I was 4 feet away from the cart, as I turned my back for a few seconds, I heard another customer said "Miss, I think the Marshall's employee just took your cart away?" as I turned around, the cart was gone with my son's hat in it. After 30 minutes, all the items I had in my cart, were put back on the shelf except for my son's hat. I immediately went to see the store manager, He refused to give me his name and he was not polite and courteous. It was Christmas eve, 1:00 pm in the afternoon and the temperature was very cold. I asked the manager to try to talk to his staff to find out who took the cart with my son's hat and where do they put it. He told me the hat was not important and his staff are busy... he is not going to stop them from doing their work for a hat. When I told him that it was cold outside, I can't take my son out there without a hat over his head, he was very rude to me. I promised him that I will file a complaint, he said to me to go ahead. I offered to leave my number just in case the hat is found to call me, he was not thrilled to take my number but I left it on the counter next where he stood. Today, is December 30th, I haven't received a phone call from him. Marshall is a store that I go shop almost every week, I've spent lots of money at the store because they sell great products at lower prices. Now, I'm very upset and disappointed by the way I was treated. I'm very disappointed that I never received a call from the manager. My son's hat was purchased in London England on a trip we took last year 2012 and he loves that hat very much. On December 31, I called Marshall's to find out whether my son's hat was found or not, I spoke with another manager by the name of Shawn; he was not pleasant as well as the first manager. He told me he was not aware of the incident, he took my phone number and my name, he never contact me as well. Now it is January 5, 2014 no calls as of yet. As much as I like the Marshall's, I don't see myself stepping into that store and spend more money. Therefore, I'm asking for help.

Respectfully,

Patricia Faurelus

Marshalls unprofessional procedures

Hi, I would like to share this story with everyone,
Few months ago I took a part time job in marshalls - dolphin mall in miami, though it was only a few hours I liked to work there.
There is a manager there who seems to me she had never attended a professional manager training, her methods were so unprofessional that even the customer could advertised she was putting in risk the store reputation, e. G hiding herself between the racks to watch if we were working or not, no need to clarify they have camaras in the store. More than once she was seen by different customers doing this, and customer came straight to me laughing :"hey your manager is watching you!.
No need to say I quit, because I felt harassed and went to another place to work, she is totally obsessed in an way she is damaging the store image, her name is helena escobar if you go to marshalls - dolphin mall to buy, and you see her hiding herself and watching the employees see if they are working, please take the time to write a letter to corporate, may be they retrained her before she destroy their business.

Marshalls was rude and inconsiderate

I was in the marshall missouri store late last night doing some last minute shopping with a family member before heading back home from the holidays and went into your grocery part of the style when I was pushing my handicap son in his wheel chair and I came up to an aisle where you had a co-working in the middle of the isle and when I said excuse me the working turned to me ad said and I quote “# don’t you see me working here so take you #ed son and go the other way” her name tag had the name “kerry” on it. Lets just say I plan on talking to my lawyer bout this. That was very rude and disrespectful and when im back in missouri I will never step back in that store. I plan on going else where instead of shopping at wal mart anymore. And I usually spend $400-$500 in wal mart a week!
