Marlene Martin - Breeder review: Dachshund puppy/ puppy mill dog

My daughter and I bought a dachshund puppy using puppy find website. We purchased the puppy from Marlene Martin in northern Indiana. We were given paperwork from her vet of the puppy shots and that he was healthy. That is not true. She took him to her vet and he has horrible ear mites in both ears. The vet washed his ears out and it was disgusting with them flowing out his ears. She could see them biting the inside of his ear with a microscope.
To date my daughter has taken him to the vet every week since purchasing him 4 weeks again and spent $378 and they are still not gone.The vet says that if they had gone untreated much longer the dog would have gone deaf.
The people breeding these dogs are not doing so in a clean and healthy environment and should not be selling dogs. I want people to know that these kind of people who breed dogs as if they were cows and not pets that they should not be buy from them. The puppies were kept in a barn not their home as if they were livestock. We will never again buy a dog from someone that does not think dogs are pets when they are selling them for pets and making $500 per dog.
