These are the worst possible laminate floors to buy. Within 6 months of professional installation in our home, they are already bubbling at the seems. Their warranty, which reads that they are under warranty for 25 years "under normal household conditions", is worthless, as they won't honor it. We have taken excellent care of our floors but they will not replace the damaged planks. We will never buy Mannington floors again, not only because they don't honor their warranty but also because their product is worthless.

I purchased Mannington LVT for my kitchen earlier this year. We had laid out the pattern and began gluing some of it down. It wasn't even 2 weeks and there were scratches all over it. They specifically advertise what we bought as scratch resistant too. We do have a dog but she is 35 pounds and only walks across the floor to go out and potty and come back in. She does not stand and scratch the floor. We have her nails trimmed and filed at Petco once a month too. Mannington had me send in my tiles and then told me they found nothing wrong with them, no manufacturers defects. I am sad to say I did not research their company before buying their product. I am going to sue. It looks like they have been getting away with this for far too long. It is ridiculous reading all of your complaints. It was only $1600 but need to reimburse us and if I have to go to court, I will be asking for more than $1600.

I only wish I'd read all these comments before purchasing Mannington's "luxury" sheet vinyl with a 25 year warranty and advertised for it's exceptional durability. Within several months of installation, large bubbles began to appear on the decorative surface of the luxury sheet vinyl. Took the very time-consuming steps required to file claim with Mannington. Received no response as requested to my emails and my UPS'd samples, then had to call three times before reaching the customer service rep assigned to the claim. She treated me rudely and aggressively, and called me a liar. Just received their "turn down claim" letter. They are blaming the bubbling on "site" issues or installation issues. And they seem to have "coached" the retailer as to what to say to me as the end-user so the retailer can avoid any liability. So unhappy, and by no means "done" with this claim. Better Business Bureau and attorney general are next on my list for correspondence regarding this unfortunate situation.

We contracted with Jordon Interiors to supply and install LVP Adura through out 2 levels of our house. This was over 3000 sq ft. Almost immediately we notices seams were opening up. Now 3 years later you can fit 2 quarters on edge at almost all of the end seams of every single plank. Mannington send an inspector, how has now said the wrong trowel size was used to install the flooring. What a Joke, the trowel size has nothing to do with the fact the product is shrinking. Mannington advertise a lifetime warranty, but do not stand by their product. This is a defective product if it does not maintain its size. The floor looks terrible, you can see the subfloor at the seams, and its getting worse every day. We will have to replace the entire floor. You can bet on legal action Mannington.

I had brown spots come up within 8 years of installation of my Mannington floor. A rep from the business where I purchased the flooring came and first said he thought it was rust from using the wrong nails. Later, he called and stated it was a problem with the underlayment (floating floor reacting with the metal nails) and the next time he called he said he had talked to Mannington and Mannington stated I had a moisture problem. I have no leaks, no moisture problems under my house. Brown spots are in lots of places on my flooring and it looks terrible, especially for the price I paid to have a large kitchen, breakfast room, hallway, bathroom, and laundry room floored with this Mannington product. Guests have asked me what caused the brown spots. I explained and let them know I will never purchase from that store or ever purchase Mannington floors again. Mannington and the store refused to do anything about this horrendous mess in my house!

I had the same problem as many. Peaking and bubbling even after the water was clean up with in seconds. Somebody should start a class action lawsuit.

Mannington Mojave slate is an absolute horrendous product. My installer said it was the worst product he had ever worked with. Now I'm left with hideous seams throughout the entire floor. I will purchase Mannington and I can't believe this company does not stand behind their product

I also purchased the mannington adura lock solid. After two years the floor is cupping and cracking about 1/4 from the seams. Called mannington and put in a claim. Mannington sent out supposably a 3rd party inspector who determined the floor was not a defect. I've been a contractor for thirty years and never had issues this is my first and last dealing with mannington. I will never recommend there flooring to anyone and plan on seeing an attorney even if it cost me $5000.00 just to see them spend money on there attorney.

Our Mannington Laminate flooring was installed two years ago. All the seams are coming unglued. Finally had independent inspector come out. He took lots of photos of the flooring. By the way, the seams in a stairway closet are also coming unglued. That area has never been touched by any cleaning product. Inspector took our only piece of leftover vinyl to send to Mannington to test if defective. Received call from Mannington that nothing is wrong with their product and that seams were coming unglued due to the way they were cared for. We asked for our leftover flooring to be returned, but representive stated that it had been destroyed due to the testing they performed - how convenient is that on their part! How in the world could this issue be caused by the way we cared for the flooring especially that an area that had never been touched had the same issue.

Has anyone tried filing a civil suit against these people...I just received a letter/email the grammer spelling was very unprofessional ...the floors have turned into a nightmare and I did not get the least expensive product...sounds like alot of people need to get together and make them honor there promises...they had me send one piece of wood and they tested it and it had no problems what about all the other bundles...I am just sick over this situation.

I signed a contract to have my floors done in Laminate. The salesman told me I needed to put down deposit which I put a two hundred dollar deposit on my credit card. The total for my contract was five thousand dollars.I was then contacted by my bank who told me that National Floors direct had charged the entire five thousand dollars against my card without having done one bit of work.Be very careful of this company!I did some research and found out that the owner Sam Rosenberg was doing the same thing in New Jersey and one day closed his doors in Jersey and now has opened up shop in Avon.Beware !

I hope anyone considering purchasing Mannington Laminate flooring reads these posts. I had the same experience as all the other commenters here. Was told by the store from whom I purchased product that this was a top of the line flooring. Within 2 years I had the same bubbling along the seams that others have described. Mannington is absolutely refusing to honor the warranty saying that it is a "site problem" and that it is caused by either humidity or my letting the floor get wet. I asked if this product wasn't intended for kitchen and bathroom use, and he hesitated, then said, "well, yes." I replied, "Are you telling me you think there is a kitchen or bathroom somewhere that the floor doesn't eventually have water spilled on it?" He then moved on to the humidity angle. I do not live in the sub-tropics here, this is South Dakota! They clearly have no intention of ever honoring their warranty. Luckily for me, the store who sold and installed this floor has some ethics and they are going to cover most of the cost of installing a new floor. I will NEVER purchase any Mannington product again.

We had Adura vinyl planking installed it our home. In a short period of time the floor began to "peak" over the entire floor. I called Cannington and they started a claims case. I sent them 4 whole pieces of planking per their request at my own expense. They have denied the claim . They stated the floor buckled because the sun hit the floor. They stated the material they send states all windows must be covered during the sunniest part of the day. This is ridiculous. We would never had installed this is we know we could not have any windows open.

Mannington will not honor their warranty on our defective vinyl. At least I hope it's defective and not what their regular product does. Over the past several years we started to get little brown dots by the sliding patio door (new construction) that got worse every year. The floor is now significantly discolored and has large 2 foot smears of dark browncolor. I sent pictures, receipts and a claim into Mannington (they have a rather complicated process with lots of documentation required etc) and when they responded to the claim the first question she asked was "did it start out as small dots?" So it seems to me they knew exactly what the problem is. Then she said... "Sorry your warranty doesn't cover sun and heat damage". We live in Vancouver BC. (can anybody say cloudy and rainy with a temperate climate). If the floor can't stand up to being installed next to a window in Vancouver... it is obviously not fit for the purpose it is made for. Be wary of installing Mannington vinyl anywhere you might have a window. I am less than satisfied both with how complicated the claim process was to even file the claim, and then how quickly I was dismissed when they seem to know there is a problem with their product

Mannington will NOT honor their warranty. Our vinyl kitchen floor shows permanent discoloration in multiple places. We sent them photos and proof of purchase, yet they maintain the discolorations are cause by moisture. Our crawlspace is dry as a bone, and we have no kitchen leaks. We bought their top-of-the-line floor at the time. After their denial, we simply asked for an independent contractor to come out for his opinion. They refused. They are an awful, terrible company. Consumer beware! I plan to file a complaint with the BBB, and any other consumer protection agency I can find.

Installed Mannington Revolutions Plank Diamond Bay flooring in about 1/2 or our 1800 sq foot home. We have no water problems and the floor is concrete. The floor after 3 1/2 years looks like it has blisters in several different areas. Some of the blisters are on seams or connections while others are in the middle of the plank. We have no explanation why this is happening, since the other rooms in the house has cheap $1.25 a sq foot laminate that has been In place for 12 years without a single problem. I went to Mannington's website and they repeatedly say all of their flooring is manufactured in the US, but the label on an extra box I had purchased incase I would need to make any repairs says very plainly, "MADE IN CHINA". From what I see has happened to others, I do not expect anything out of Mannington, but perhaps the local TV news investigative team will get involved in Mannington's false claims of made in the USA.

We had Mannington laminate put down professionally 11 years ago - the Autumn Meridian Cherry - and as of today Sept. 21, 2015, it looks like the day it was installed. And this with 2 older people wearing barn clothes / boots most days (we have horses!) plus dogs and cats. Absolutely no problems with it. We liked it so much that when we decided recently to do a kitchen / dinette / laundry room remodel (floors a very old linoleum) we went with the Mannington vinyl planks in the Canadian Maple pattern, vinyl only due to the water potential of these particular rooms. The laundry room is done already and we LOVE the flooring - it looks like real hardwood. Installation of these planks was an easy DIY, if you have past experience with remodeling and floating floors as we do. We have zero complaints with these Mannington products.

Do you have any extra boxes of the autumn meridian cherry that you could sell us ! We had our entire house done in it and had a water tank break and it ruined a hallway . It has been discontinued by Mannington!

Also purchased Mannington Adura luxury planks and had them professionally installed. They almost immediately had cracks and spaces everywhere. They never look clean despite constant care. Mannington has denied any claim. They are saying the "sun " is causing the damage even though the sun does not even shine on the flooring. The service has been absolutely horrible and they did not contact us for over a month until we contacted the Better Business Bureau. The product is terrible and the Customer Service is a joke! Don't buy Mannington!

I have 2 Large floors in Manningtons revolutions laminate in our home. We are seniors with no children or dogs in our home. Only when they come and visit. The floor has bubbled when ever any water gets on it. If my grandkids come, and spill some water on it and I do not find it within hours, the floor bubbles. I won't wash without instantly drying so the entire floor won't bubble. I spent Thousands on the flooring. I will have to take out and I will put in wood floors. At least you can buff out anything, and it doesn't bubble and can handle water on it even for long periods of time. I was going to send complaint but was told they went out of business so decided I am stuck with it. Evidently that is not true. After reading the other complaints and the warranty, basically there isn't anything that the warranty covers. Unbelievable. I have other boxes, but would be costly to have a installer come and replace the boards. I'd rather just put the money towards a new floor and give up on this junk.

I had a beautiful Mannington laminate floor installed in my kitchen, sunroom and muckroom. After consulting the salesperson at AVALON FLOORING IN CHERRY HILL and explaining what I needed which was (water resistant, young kids riding toys on it, dogs running through, high traffic areas, etc) I was sold this floor with a high gloss shine. Needless to say its been a nightmare ever since. Even though the floor is beautiful it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep clean. It shows every water mark/smudge mark and scratches/dents from general wear and tear. It shows paw prints and kids barefeet marks. I'm embarrassed to have people over because it constantly looks filthy. I've had enough so I'm biting the bullet and replacing the floor. AVALON did nothing to help except blame me and only give me half credit towards another floor which I did not have the money to pay for someone to re-install and pay the other portion of another floor. When I called the manufacturer about it they told me it was for a low traffic area like a dining room. Well thanks!

I agree with all. We have a print at the end of many boards that we saw when the sunlight hit it. The floor was 2/3 installed and most.covered with "floor shell" to protect it. We pulled some of the floor she'll up to look at other boards and there were many more with prints. But the seams were chipping under the cardboard. There was cupping also. This was in the dining room and living room. We. Received a call today that the. product was not defective. They will give us 5 boxes more to compensate for the prints but the warranty claim is denied. This was an expensive laminate "a quality product" but no defect. A substantial warranty that was useless before the floor was completely installed!

I agree with ALL of the above comments. Mannington Adura is just old fashion linoleum that is very expensive. It never lays flat, pulls up on edges, always looks dirty even after cleaning, too soft for furniture, bumps and dimples are obvious. I spent $12K for entire house and I feel violated by Mannington. And never a word from the salesman about these kind of problems. I do everything I can to spread the word about this company and their deficient product. BUYER BEWARE

My floor is only 2 years old and I am having the exact same issue. When it was laid there was a major over spray issue so we contact them on how to clean it. We followed what they said and now they are saying that if we sprayed the Windex direction on the floor and not to a cloth first that we damaged it. The have used every excuse to get out of their 25 year warranty. We take excellent care of our floor and clean up and spill immediately. I would suggest to anyone to never buy a Mannington Floor, ever. I am now left with a $4000 nightmare in my home. Stay as far away from mannington floors as you can.

I bought Mannington vinyl flooring six years ago and had it professionally installed. My floor now is bubbling and the top layer is lifting and coming off. It looks absolutely horrible.
I called Mannington and they gave me a claim number. I was then instructed to send a 12 x 12 inch piece, plus a copy of my contr and payment. After several phone conversations, I was told the floor defect isn't covered under warranty. They basically said it was "our fault". We are senior citizens, no children or pets. Basically, the warranty doesn't cover normal use. I would never buy or recommend this company to anyone!

We purchased our flooring from Home Depot. We used the company that Home Depot uses to install our new flooring. These installers were very nice and considerate and seemed to know what they were doing.

Our job took approx. 13 boxes of flooring to complete. When the first shipment came to Home Depot it was sent back, WHY? Because the boxes were damaged along with the product. Many of the boxes that were damaged were damaged on the corners, the product was also chipped on the edges where the box wasn't damaged so, it tells me that it was shipped that way. No you couldn't get a perfect connection with broken down edges. So, they sent another round of flooring. Again, damaged, so more were sent, we had to pick and choose what was junk and what was usable.

The way it was packaged, indicated that the product was damaged before shipping not by the shipper.

We went through at least 25 boxes just to get the floor covered. THEN, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

We have corners popping up and our chairs don't slide across the floor with-out getting caught on a corner.

We complained to HD about it. They sent out the original installer and later another installer, both MENTIONED IT HAS ISSUES, , , , Such as, different thickness of material and this is why it's doing what it's doing.

We complained again... Donna Gaunt of MANNINGTON CUSTOMER CARE
75 Mannington Road - Salem, NJ 08087 P# [protected] WROTE AND SAID...

After looking at the samples, , , , , , "Based upon the information provided, the condition of the flooring is not covered under DuPont's warranty".

Many of the flooring pieces are ok, MANY ARE NOT OK. THEY COME APART. They should send someone to look first hand instead of looking at two pieces we and HD sent them.

When two different installers look at the same floor and they both come up with the same answer it's obvious there is a material issue and Mannington refusses to follow through with what they claim.

I have had exactly the same experience that the rest of these people had. I will never buy a Mannington product again. Some planks began bubbling, lifting and peeling about a year after purchase. These were from their Collections line. The flooring store was kind enough to purchase 2 replacement boxes of planks for me because Mannington insisted they were not at fault. However far more than this will be needed to make the problem right as more planks are disintegrating every day. I, also, do not have a water problem. What an expensive mistake to have selected this inferior product!

We had Mannington flooring placed a couple of years ago. Had I know it was so sensitive to pet issues I would have gone hardwoods. We also experienced lifting of the top layers at the seems when a portable space heater was used last winter. We are empty nesters and are not hard on the floors. Thought we made a good choice paying the extra price for a high grade laminate.

Our mannington laminate floor is less than a year old. It is puckering at the seams in three places, our dog vomited very small puddles on two different nights while we slept. We cleaned it up immediately both times, but it was watery and ran along the butt seams and long seams both times. It resulted in ugly warping of the top laminate layers. The third spot is under the front of the dishwasher. Even though the house is new and has top of the line appliances, evidently an imperceptable amount of steam escapes and touches the floor when you open a hot dishwasher. It causes puckering to mannington floors.

Mannington denies any responsibility and lost the two sample boards we went to the trouble of sending them when they asked for them. Their warranty specifically only denies responsibility in the case of pet urine. That is the only mention in the warranty of pet damage.

It's now been five months since we've been in constant touch with them. All to no avail and no cooperation, even though their tellephone answering message raves about their customer support and cooperation. We are going to sue. Their floor is the only fault and problem we've had in this lovely new home.

We began having trouble with our Mannington Laminate floor within a couple of months of installation. It was not mistreated in any way. We cleaned it with a swifter, and there were no spills. As soon as the weather became humid, the edges of the planks started swelling, some in the corners, some in the short side, less on the long sides. The room does not have a water leak, we do not live by the water. We are in the process of trying to get Mannington to honor their warranty and have met with a denial. My retailer who installed the product is trying to work with us but is similarly frustrated with Mannington's response. I will be pursuing this further and would love to hear from anyone who has had success dealing with Mannington.

We have had a similar problem with our Mannington floor. We live in Massachusetts and had an early heat wave with high humidity. Many planks began buckling. Our retail store is also frustrated as they say they will only replace the same floor, not upgrade for an extra $700 to their newer product, Adura Max Prime, which IS guaranteed against humidity and has a much higher temperature guarantee.

Last Friday I had a Mannington laminate floor installed in my son's bedroom and in a small hallway. As his bedroom set was not coming until today, we placed his mattress on the floor. Today when we lifted the mattress to make room for his new furniture, we noticed a very large scratch thru the top of the laminate. They was no evidence of anything sharp under the mattress that could have done this. I went to the store where it was purchased who said I must call Mannington. Mannington said I have to send them 2 full planks, at my expense, so they can test it but the representative said they do not warrenty scratches.
I have had a Wilsonart floor in my kitchen, dining & family rooms for the past 14 years. My kids rollerbladed acrossed it. I move big bulky furniture acrossed it all the time. It has never scratched. Clearly all laminate floors are not created equally. Fortunately the charge payment has not gone thru yet and after I submit rtrhis I am going to submit a dispute.
I too will NEVER purchase a Mannington product again.

Who did you contact about your floors? the retailer or the distributor? the distributor will most times have an inspector come out and perform an inspection. It may not be a poor quality of floor, rather a bad installation.
What areas are you having trouble (ie bathroom, kitchen, living room).

I have been trying to find the distributor through Mannington but don't know how to find them. I had a floor put in about 3 years back and have been complaining ever since. The store I bought it through turned the whole thing around blaming me. Its a terrible company and Im realizing the glue - black - is showing through my flooring. I'm still trying to do something even if time has passed because I have to live with it and I'm literally sick from all of this. Why they would put someone through this is beyond me.
