that is the biggest lie in all of history. When you get to Lusida Rubber they offer $1600/month and no benefits. Wayne Chin and his partner David use the dishonest business practices they learned in China and Taiwan on workers in U.S. They prey on Chinese finding a job in U.S. David has a history of trouble with the law. He was kicked out of high school for bringing a loaded gun to school. In the past David slaps male workers if they do not meet sales quota. Wayne is the typical passive-aggressive partner in David's doings. Their boss, Michael, pretends to be a nice guy but he encourages David and Wayne to lie and cheat the workers. They never pay the sales commission they promise. They attract desperate Chinese new to the US who are used to abuse, yelling, hitting, from the typical Chinese authority figure. After two months, the smart ones quit Lusida. When I worked there a smart salesman quit after 2 hours. He had seen this kind of company before. Like a movie you've seen before, he didn't need to see it again to know the ending. David's abuse is not limited to strangers. He called the police on his father. If you work there, you will encounter the most toxic environment ever. The Cultural Revolution is completely understandable when you see so many Chinese and Taiwanese lie and cheat each other and constantly playing tricks with each other and making their group toxic.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I've worked at this place for close to 1 year. that's crazy. the money that I earned it was only $1400 per month. there are abuse . lot's of gossip from the girls. Cold calls was part of the job but getting micro managed wasn't expected. FYI, I did 1427 duration per week. I broke the company records on the phone. I came up with the most new tools for that year. I Learned a lot from this place but most of it was Mentally challenging my self to stay 1 more day till I was fired. As you can see most of the large accounts are taken. there's no way you can make $100 k per year unless they offer you half of the house accounts. I don't know why they would keep hiring sales. Customer Service is what they need to manage house account. Wayne couldn't afford more salary for sales because Rubber and Plastic is hard to sell. Wayne didn't force people to attend Scientology meeting. He did tricked me. (go to this meeting it will helps you. I'll pay for the class $60 is on me) funny. I learned form the hard way, after Lusida I am doing good with the current job now. Benefits: can't think any. all you get are negative energy

This is probably one of the worst company you can work for. They are extremely disorganized and there is no communication between the owner and the other depts. Their hiring tactics are extremely flawed. It's all a big charade, they do differently as they say. The owner talks down to employees with no respect. I am shocked that they are around but then again, they don't have much employees. They will never be a big company because of the way they treat people and how the manage their company. Avoid this company at all cost. Save yourself some trouble. Do NOT work for them.
Good help is indeed hard to find.
Alan Z, you make a good point regarding the " At will employment " it's just sad that some people are not able to understand simple English on the contract. There are a good amount of long term employees that are still working at the company. Those who quit or got released were the ones who had a bad attitude towards work ethics and are expecting to get paid by calling "party lines" during work hours. Such a SHAME!
I actually like Lusida Rubber Products. I do understand that as a company grows, there can be errors, but at this time that's pretty much behind the company from my perspective. I find the place inviting and open to improvement. I guess that's about all you can ask for of a business and business owner. Are you willing to improve opens up the door for better days. There has been no discussion of religion here that has come across my plate. There is a clause called, " At will employment' which, simply stated means one can leave whenever anyone wishes and the company can let a person go also. But who would let a great employee go? Think about it. We are all here to earn a living and if you do well, people would want you right?
Alan, I was fired. 3 months later $800, 000 PO came from the company that I found.
Employees are under-appreciated. Management yells and blames employees for anything and burdens employees with lots of work, not enough help. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!
Lusida Rubber is worse now. David Chow is gone but Michael, Wayne Chin, and Ding Lee are there now. Their employment contract mentions "we can fire you anytime we want" 3 times in the first 4 sentences. In the whole contract, they mention more than 10 times "we can fire you anytime we want). They repeat this same line several sections of the contract having nothing to do with the fact that it is an 'employment at will' situation. In the new contract, they discuss Scientology as a religious philosophy. Their point is similar to the approach many Chinese and Koreans have toward Christianity: religion as a way to make $. The idea of being a good person as an end in itself(not a means to make $) is entirely lost on them. The company still uses the same toxic personal relations methods used in China(oily, fake, authoritarian)
Just check craiglislist. Their ad keeps showing up every couple of months. The State should really do somehting to shut this compnay down. One of the worst companies ever worked.
