I fell for the 2 week trial of both products and saw on my credit card statement charges for the entire product plus membership less than 2 weeks after receiving the product. I hardly even had the chance to use it. Was told their "terms and conditions" state that in buying the "trial", I am enrolled in membership. I called them and said I do not want the membership and would like the charges taken off my card and they came back and told me that I had agreed to joining by purchasing the trial. What a ripoff! Dermanique is giving me $34.26 credit toward the $97.88 charge (absolutely ridiculous) and Lumera agreed that if I send the product back and THEY determine that 1/2 of the product is still in the bottle, I will get a total refund BUT it will probably take upwards of 7 - 10 days. I really feel this is totally a scam and I will NEVER purchase anything like that again. Plus, the product does NOTHING!

I was shocked when nearly £200 was taken from my account only 2 weeks after receiving the so called trial. I emailed them to cancel any other deliveries and luckily haven't been sent any more products. I didn't even bother to try to get my money back as I realised they were thieving scammers and I would only be wasting my time. I'm not usually a gullible person, and could kick my self for being taken in, and feel acutely embarrassed. Still it's taught me a lesson. I hope anyone tempted to go for the hype, Googles it first and sees the warnings on here. The bloody stuff didn't even work!

An absolute disgrace to advertise this as a free product. I was taken in by this. I am an old age pensioner and I am very worried about money being. Taken from my credit card

I have the same problem as all the other people above. Was taken in by the free samples supposibly, and just to pay for postage. I will be contacting my visa company regarding this scam. They have since emailed me to say that an eye serum is on its way.

I'm afraid I'm another that thought that I was getting a free sample for £2:95 them discovered that over £100:00 had been taken from my Bank of Scotland debit account I got in touch with the bank and after a lot of phoning she assured me that they would not take any more from my account as they had blocked it, lo and behold I have another text yesterday 8th July that they had shipped another parcel to me, I quickly went to my bank and discovered that another amount had been taken out, I am them told to get I touch with Lloyds bank debit card dispute, what a hassle to try and get through to that and all for eye cream and face cream that certainly DOES NOT WORK. Help please if anyone has and address that I can get in touch with them I would be much obliged

Go to your bank and change your card. They cannot get anymore money. I previously MENTIONED that they were using the name NETFLEX and HEALTHYMAN. IT IS ACTUALLY VITAMIX AND HEALTHYMEN. THE USE THIS WHEN YOU ASK YOUR BANK NOT TO PAY LUMERA ORE DERMA. Fortunately for me I had informed the bank and they got my money back.
Also as I said I informed trading standards who are investigating.
Maybe we have different regulations in Scotland.
All the best to those who have been stolen from from those two companies. They are thieving B...DSL.

Also fell for this free trial offer. What a shower of thieves. Tried to take money from my account under different names NETFLEX AND HEALTHYMEN. what a cheek. Luckily I was able to remedy this situation. I informed trading standards and fraud squad. Whether anything comes from this I do not know?
I will certainly warn everyone I know not to Apply FOR ANY FREE SAMPLES FROM THE INTERNET.
I wonder how these people sleep at nite.

These people are thieves and engage in very deceptive advertising. Nothing is free and they charge for separate shipping and handling but send in the same box . That should have told me something but before I even had time ti try the products and decide if I liked them they charged my card threw Pay Pal and overdrew my checking account. Overdraft fees now . Called the company and was told they would not return my money. After confronted them about the unethical business practices and would not just accept what this woman was telling me another half hour of my time and references to Better Business Bureau Consumers affairs and anyone else I could think of they agreed to refund my money. Now I am contacting Pay Pal with reference numbers to make sure this money is put back in my account. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM PLEASE .

I too, was scammed by these companies. After several charges on my credit card I called the number for Dermanique, it took one half hour of waiting to get someone to answer but, I finally was able to get thru to Dermanique and cancelled any more shipments. She did try to talk me out of canceling, but wasn't too bad. Then several weeks later a box of Lumera came and once again my credit card was billed. I have tried and tried to call this company but can not get anyone to answer. Is there anyone out there who has an address for this company.

OK, that makes more since now, that they go by a different name because you put in Lumera and it answered a totally different name now and they couldn't find any record of my order now.

I am in complete agreement with ALL the complaints listed above, I'm sure there will be more following mine. These people are scam artists of the first order. Just reaching them to cancel my "membership" was a nightmare until I called my credit card company and they were finally able to reach a live representative. You have to call two different companies and get two different return addresses. In addition, one of the companies now goes by another name, making it even more complicated.

These folks are pros at bobbing and weaving, so if you're trying to extricate yourselves from them, keep at it! It'll cut into your day, but the charges are ridiculous and to add insult to injury, THE PRODUCTS DON'T WORK! Crisco is probably every bit as efficacious as these snake oil serums.

I returned Lumera eye cream after they sent it to me and charged my cc without me asking. They refunded the Dermanique they sent me but keep saying there is a glitch in their system and the "button" won't let me get my Lumera refund. They have not been able to refund it for 6 months now. THIS IS RIDIDULOUS!

I have been waiting for 6 months for a refund on Lumera, that I returned to them full, and they keep saying there is a glitch in their system and the button doesn't work. I tell them to send me a paper check refund and they say they can't. Now there number goes to a different name brand.

The same thing happened to me. I read through the terms and conditions and saw the agreement to membership way down in the terms, near the bottom. I saved it and I can't find where it gives you a price on what you will be charged each month, nor what the cost of membership is. To try the products for free, you have to subscribe, so the trial is not free. You will be charged for at least one shipment. If you just refuse the packages and don't call them first, you get no refund. You have to call them within 3 days of receiving the package to get a number and address to return to. Don't be fooled, they also don't ship the product in time for you to try it before the costing packages start arriving. From the time you sign up online, the clock starts ticking. You have 14 days to cancel from the day you order the "free" trial before you are locked in. This is truly a consumer nightmare using trickery and deceit. They are stealing people's money and need to be stopped.

I also ordered both products on a trail basis and had my credit card charged before I could get through the original test and when 2 more Lumera and Dermanique arrived I began to get suspicious. I checked my CC bill and saw I was charged $97.88 for each Dermanique and $87.67 for each Lumera. I contacted the company and they indicated that I had in essence sign up for this. I cancelled whatever I signed up for and mailed the 4 products back to them. I was refunded only one $97.88 from Dermanique they advised that I had not returned one in time to qualify for a refund. Lumera has not processed any refund, they advised I am suppose to get a refund but their system is not working so I just have to wait until they get it fixed. This has been going on since April and it is now September. Something should be done about companies like this! The product does not work and the company is scamming everyone!

La Dermanique is the worst anti-wrinkle cream I have ever used! The company must have "created" any positive reviews. It stung my skin, created a rash (had to see a dermatologist) and the odor is downright offensive! I ordered a "sample" and the company ended up charging me for the total amount plus postage. They then sent another bottle without my ordering it. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THIS COMPANY! Their customer service refused to credit my account for the $97.88 and now has charged my account a second time. HOPEFULLY NO ONE ELSE WILL LET THEM TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM.
