Lowe's renovation

I spent $45000 on renovation at Lowe's and over a year and still not done. What is done is done incorrectly. They cut corners at every chance and do shabby work, their delivery and customer care are all jokes. They lie and lie, their slimy and shady. They'll get you to buy cheaper products, but for the more expensive prices...the bait and switch. We even had stuff stolen out of our house and they acted like we were lying. Whatever you do, do not use them!

Lowe's no show

The subcontractor was supposed to deliver my 28" refrigerator yesterday from 4PM-5PM he didn't show up at all. When my landlord called him he told my landlord that he was there which was a lie and that it would have to be rescheduled for today. I hope he shows up today

Lowe's price manipulation

So I've been looking at tool sets for months, at least since December 2014. There is one toolset that was selling for 14.99, and now a week before Fathers Day is selling for 24.99. My firend who has access to the Fathers Day ad that hasn't been posted yet shows the toolset on sale for 14.99, 10 dollars off. This to me is just bait and switch BS. I just want to warn folks the are being maniuplated that this really isn't a good deal but they just want you to belive it is.

Lowe's incomplete job/horrible customer service

My grandpa Oris Mcphatter who is 88 years of age paid over $10, 000 to lowes to get a tin roof installed on his house in 12/2014. I had not been out to his house in a few months up until around April! I could not believe what I saw! They left the facial board unprotected and never boxed in the sides which is now rotten from the rain. They also left the excess debris from the roof laying in the yard! I followed the chain of command hoping they would resolve this problem by now with no resolve. I started complaining in 04/2015 and they responded even sent a rep out who confirmed a month ago the job was not complete but nothing had been done! I get calls from some people saying he didn't pay for the sides and some saying they are going to come out and finish the job? I feel like the contractor noticed he had to elderly people and took full advantage of them and now lowes is doing nothing to protect their customers. I will keep complaining all over the internet and my next stop will be the news.

It looks terrible but you might want to look at the contract... I be it said nothing about the fascia or overhang... (Yes it is called FASCIA)

Lowe's lawn mower repair

I bought mower they say ( buy ext warranty it is easy if anything happens just call 24 /7 we will pick it up fix it and return it fast n easy ... NOT did I say Not so 1 st time I called them they call allied who set up to pick up, and I must call allied to confirm, , a week later allied still not answering phone or returning message lowes can not get through to them then day before pick up we both get through to them pick up day I stay home all day NO show on thier part lowes says they will be there in 24 hours I saty home 2nd day NO show finnlly my call goes through to them again pick up in 3 days they show, person lifting my riding mower onto truck ( I offered to help he says no then drops my mowers half off tuck lift then says help me .. I do so ok end of 1st time Now we are on
the 2nd time call lowes the now say call this other waaranty company BTTW Warranty did so the say TB mowers will pick up I stay home all do they do not show and lots of bad reviews on them so BTTW says 5 days later we have solar power mower inc will pick up I stay home all day they are a no show NOW it is really bad you have to call all they companies your self and still a week and a half nothing 2 days off work ? I am waiting to see how this will all end

Agree we having night mare with BTTW 200 bucks for warran btyought from Lowes who promised too they would pick up and fix it if anything went wrong? ( it aint so, they don't' want to fix anything) but first they took to local company, BTTW wont respond and if we want our rider now after two weeks I am having to pay 271 to get it back as yard looks like jungle. Advise people DON'T BUY Warrantees from Lowes or Home Depot. Save that money put in jar and then go to a local place that has good refernces, you will save money.

i basicly bought a rider mower from lowes, only to find out it had a laundry list of problems.i asked that it be refunded.it was purchased on a chase debit card and the refund did not go into the bank.chase said it could take up to a week or a month to see the money return to my account.i believe this is a shady deal which no one wants to claim...

Lowe's defective fan and non-working remote

Bought 2 Oyster Cove Fans with remotes. The first fan and remote work fine, but after my handyman spent 5 hours trying to install the second fan, the connectors did not connect so he had to cut the wires and spend extra time making the connection. The remote did not work at all. I called Harbor Breeze to see if they could send me some kind of refund, and they said I would have to send them the entire fan. I told him that made no sense since I already paid $100 to install a defective fan and I wasn't about to have my handyman take it down and then put it up again for $100. The fan could me $149 the Installation has already cost me $100. I will remember next time not to buy any Harbor Breeze products.

Lowe's carpet

We ordered our carpet from Lowes in Milledgeville Georgia with them knowing that we had a deadline of getting it installed. We were assured that the carpet would be installed before April 15 because I have new furniture coming on that day and I had to give the company we purchased our furniture 8 days notice if there was going to be a problem. Well the carpet came in and the installer came to put it down on Monday April 13th but the carpet was not the right measurements. It was ordered right but came in wrong so the installer called lowes and talked to Keith in the installation department about it and Keith was suppose to call me back. Well I ended up calling him back and he said he was working on trying to get the carpet overnighted. At this time my husband talked to him and he said he couldn't get it overnighted that it would be Wednesday afternoon before he could get it. I have spent a lot of money in the past 2 months with Lowes and I feel like they didn't even try to get it overnighted. I then called the furniture store and told them that I couldn't get my furniture delivered on the date we had stated and it didn't go to well. My furniture is in transit and is still coming on Wednesday and I have no carpet on my floor witch I have already paid for. I still need to buy a few more things to finish my remodeling but I don't feel like I need to give Lowes anymore of my hard earned money because of the way I have been treated.

Lowe's laminate samples not updated

Before you decide to take home laminate sample(s) or order samples online (at $5 each), ask first if that product is still available. There is a good chance it isn't. 3 of seven (store and online ordered samples) I was considering were discontinued products. They do not update the sample board or the online sample selection. You can waste a great deal of time. Be prepared though. It takes them an hour to confirm whether or not that product is available.

Lowe's outdated sample display

Second time (a year apart) that this has happened.

If you are looking for laminate flooring at Lowe's BE AWARE. The sample board (like, 80 samples) where you'll look for something of interest is apparently never updated. Three of four samples I checked out, were items no longer available. What a waste of my time and effort! To top it off, it took me 10 minutes online to find that out for myself, yet it took them over an hour to confirm what I already told them.

Do not assume that what's up on that sample board is actually available - special order or not. It's either that sample display is deliberately "all for looks" or the (btw, government TARP subsidized) store just doesn't spend any time keeping things up to date. Sorta like AMTRAK.

Bottom line: Find something of interest in that laminate display? Want to take a sample home? Pin them down first! Make them find out if the product is, in fact, available. Otherwise you are wasting your time.

Lowe's quartz countertop

Two and half years ago I had lowes to install quartz counter top they sent out 5 star to install . first after 6 months my counter top opened and dropped along the seams. now my undermount sink dropped down 3 inchs I looked under the sink they did not even secure the sink to anything in the front ... it was just a matter of when not if it would hold ! NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY AND HAVE LOWES OR 5 STAR TO INSTALL AGAIN

I paid for a flooring estimate for hardwood floors. The employee came out and took all measurements. He told me I'd have an estimate with 2-3 days. It's been a week and a half and I've heard nothing. Everytime I call the store, and get transferred to the flooring department, the phone just rings. This is so unprofessional and makes me never want to shop at...

Lowe's over billed for wrong light fixture

We ordered a 48" chandelier and were provided with a 36" chandelier. This is a cottage and a construction site. The electricians went ahead and installed the smaller antler chandelier when they were there and the scaffolding was available. When we arrived at the site we noticed the mistake so I contacted Lowes Canada customer service who advised that we must provide pictures with a measuring tape in order to be credited the difference in price.
As this is a seasonal property and we live in another province we were not able to provide this for several months.
Now that I have provided this information to Lowes, they are telling me that "due to the time difference between our initial communication and receiving this information we are unable to credit you the price difference."
I consider invoicing a customer for a significantly more expensive product that the one supplied to be fraud. Lowes is aware that we cannot return the product without hiring electricians and bringing back in the scaffolding, etc which would be not worth the expense. Therefore, we agreed to live with the error provided we are refunded the price difference.

Below are the pictures as proof sent to Lowes. They have now declined to honour their commitment to a refund, however, I do believe it is fraudulent to invoice a customer for a significantly higher priced product that what was actually supplied.

Lowe's battery in remote heats up

We own our condo since Jan. 2013. It's a 3 bedroom condo with 6 ceiling fans installed; 3 operating a switch and 3 from a remote control. When we came back last november I could not start either the fan or the light on the ceiling fan in our bedroom. It is Harbor Breeze "Aero" #187541 and the remote is #RC-104L. When I put the 9 volt battery in the remote control, it heats up and the fan ot the light do not respond to any button; so I have to take it off to avoid futher damage. I have check the wires with line detector in the switch and in the fan and my detector blinked red which means that electricity (voltage) is present all over the line but still does not work. I went to Lowes this afternoon and all they told me was to call the company to get an answer to my problem. Can you help identify the problem or find a solution ?

Lowe's 30 days with broken refrigerator

30 days. Less then 1 year old. Purchased 5 year warrenty. Called 1 month ago aa it wasn't cooling. Took 2 weeks to come out. 1 week to show up. 1 day to break again and they admit they ordered wrong part. 2 weeks and still no working refridgerator. Who in Lowe's can go 30 days without a working refrigerator? How much food did I lose. How many meals did I have to buy because I couldn't buy groceries. Not until 30 days passed did any of your representatives tell me they might reimburse me if I rent one. Guess what lowes? I don't want to rent one. I want a working refridgerator to store milk and groceries in for my 3 boys. Do not reply to this complaint with telling me to list my itemized groceries. 30 days. Trust me when I say every media outlet. Every social network. Including BBB will be notified of this horrific customer experience.

Purchased GE Washer and Dryer from Lowes in Gulfport, MS in April of 2013 with an extended warranty. Repairman have been to my house at least 7 times for washer alone. Now I am calling a second time for the dryer. They still Do Not Work! If I where you I would not purchase the appliances or the warranty!

Lowe's remote control not working

I bought a ceiling fan from Lowe's, it was a Harbor Breeze fan see picture in closed. The remote control stopped working after two week. I replaced the batteries . They lasted 2 weeks before stopping This has been 4 months now and I have gone through countless amounts of batteries. Now the remote doesn't work at all. The control is just as expensive as the fan. They should replace the remote for free. I only had mine for two weeks and it went out I had to pay someone to install the fan and now Ill have to replace it and pay to have it removed and installed again but I promise you this it will not be a harbor breeze ceiling fan nor will I buy it from Lowe's . this is the ceiling fan that I have I also will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Same thing here...light is at least stuck in the off position. Fan works but only in one mode. Changed batteries no luck it's just dead.

Less than a year ago I bought Harbor Breeze fan- I didn't use it much-then one morning -remote turned on light and fan to full blast-and then nothing- I did press buttons with iPhone camera as suggested- it worked once- now nothing- REALLY my last fan- not Harbor Breeze - lasted 35 years- I thought I would get a really nice fan-I keep seeing the same complaint- I hired an electrician to put it in -so I can't " simply fix the short-I have to pay to have it fixed or taken down and replaced-not believing this-please fix the fan so others don't have to go through this- this is turning out to be a very expensive fan-THANKS

I posted a response about a month ago but it seems no one read it or paid much attention to it. Simply buy a can of electronic contact cleaner spray, open the battery compartment of the remote, spray the contact area of the buttons and 90% of the time your problem will be solved.

Similar problem with the remote, it's not talking to the fan. Look at your warranty, lifetime on motor, 2 years on other components. We are taking ours back unless the remote is an easy replacement.

Same here. I bought Santa Ana a year ago for my rental property. The design is beautiful, and that is all the good comment I can write. It stopped working in two weeks. The renter naturally did not appreciate it. One year later, I am in the process to throw it in the garbage. What a waste! About $180 and used for less than 30 minutes.

Same problem here. Brand new fan. Worked a few times but was unresponsive after a short while. Remote battery is good. I do hear a 'beep' sound when putting the wall switch on. Remote doesn't talk to the fan anymore. ugh!

I am having the same problem. The remote did work for a few weeks and then after turning on the fan, the remote would not turn it off. The only way to turn it off was to set the timer. Now the light is on and it won't go off. The remote is the only control. The battery is working because the red light blinks. The battery has been changed a couple of times. There is no one available to answer questions about this. The reset does not work either. The light stays on all the time and we are really inconvenienced by this. We bought this fan for the look and not the brand, so next time we will know better. If anyone has any answers, it would be nice if you would share your solutions.

Lowe's racism

I called lowes in kalamazoo because I was told I qualified for a service were as a designer mes to your house to assist you with multiple projects. I called the lady, she was going to schedule me when suddenly she changed her mind and said she didn't have her calendar and that she was on her way into a meeting but she would call me back by 2pm, well she never did. I called the store manager to tell him what happened. Later that day or the next day this lady text me and said she was sorry but she had gotten busy. I didn't want anything to do with her but she ended up coming out on a friday. She said I knew her from years ago,. Any how she said give her until monday to get me a quote. I waited until wednesday and email her and she said later. Than the next day she sent this text:

: I have had no time yet thought i'd be able to get it yesterday but not. Today is shot as well. If you are able please give me a few more days, if not I understand

What does this mean. My perception, rude, disrespectful. Don't need my business.

I contacted lowes on saturday they said someone would call by tuesday, they didn't I feel this is raciallymotivated sorry that's how I feel.

Lowe's no speak english...

We hired Lowes to do our roof and when the workers arrived, they were all of Mexican decent. I am not racist in any way, but when we tried to communicate with them, not one of them could speak English. I feel that Lowes should have made sure that at least one person could speak English! We had some legitimate questions, and I feel that Lowes didn't care that our questions would fall on deaf ears. I guess they figured it aan easier way to avoid us.They also worked at least 2 hours in complete darkness, and I am having to hire a different roofing company to evaluate their workmanship. I think it would be too easy to make a mistake, when working in complete darkness! ! If you are looking for a company that you can depend on, don't go to Lowes!

Lowe's remote circuit board defective

Harbor Breeze Ceiling fan remote sucks. This is my third fan remote, you think I would know by the second one not to purchase it again. I don't recall the other 2 defective remotes but this one has a blue light that stays on and depletes the battery and no longer controls the fan variable speed. There is nothing wrong with the ceiling fan it self, just the remote.
Buyers of Harbor Breeze CUTE little fan remote beware.
