Lousy support center

After my laptop crashed for the second time, hp took it in for repair and said it would be returned to me within 7-10 days. Every week or so I would check in with their customer service only to be told it would not be due for another two weeks. Three months after sending it in to be fixed, it was safely returned back to me. If only they could have told me they would be keeping it for that long and not have given me false hope throughout these last few months. Through multiple unfortunate experiences with hp, I feel I should warn any persons interested in purchasing their products. It's for your own good.

It is very disappointing that they have such a lousy support center for their rather ingenious merchandise.

I want to report my own experience year. I bought an HP lap top from Circuit City in February this year. It had charging problem; when you plug it in to power, it does not charge well unless you hold the cable up. I then decided to send it across so that they can check if it is the charging port since I am still under the cover of a one year warranty. From the store of circuit city they said definately it was going to be a minor problem, which I believe because pc is still new. According to circuit city they said it was going to be sent to circuit city in Goergia then to HP and wll take between one or two weeks. This turned to almost two months. During this period, I was in great frustration because as a student I need the pc on a daily basis hence I bought it. My anger was not just the lies and lack of confidence in both circuit city and Hp it is for the fact that when you call these offices, they pass you from place to place hanging on phone as long as 30-45mins, They will eventually come back and say "I will call you back, they never called back except for few times to say no news and such information is of no use to me. At a point I gave up trusting God things will work out. It eventually came back this Saturday, still checking if ok as some ports are shaking.

My overall rating and advise to these sellers: To HP: You sell products you cannot support swiftly and promptly. Do you remember you have so many competitors out there? It takes you forever to fix simple stuff even if complex should it take you long? Why cann't you empower stores that carries your products to carry out some minor repairs? Why reconnect with your customers then you will know how dissatisfied and angry they are at any time. I guess we the customers are the reason you all are in business? Take an audit please because right now, you HAVE FAILED US. I used to love HP products but now, NO WAY but I am stuck with your pc because I paid so much for it so have to use it for now but may not recommend it further to anyone. I cannot buy stuff that customer service and support is not guaranteed, Even your online chat to reach you immediately is not user-friendly. Also, it was so difficult to check status of your pc sent not even circuit city. What a poor way of doing business. You guys need a process reengineering if you want to be in business in this 21st century - this is for your good though.

For you Circuit City: Perhaps the fever of your going under is hovering around you hence cannot keep your word of follow up not even the managers that will promise they will call me back but never did. I see why you guys are in bankruptcy. Wake up and do business better. Only a few people understands customer's frustration in that Sanford, Fl store.
Dont get angry with this honest feedback but use it as an opportunity to restrategise and can turn your business around again. I do this without any bias, trust me.
