LongHorn Steakhouse service and steaks

I went to longhorn Sunday 8/20/17 and we were starving and my hubby and I ordered the floes filet and were so disappointed about our visit our steaks were wrong they sent wrong city's if meat and then after they brought it back I ordered my steak plain and got it so seasoning and ordered it Ned and got it rare so so up set after 50 a visit I really think well I know it could have been better ordered broccoli plain got it back wrong and Diet Coke ordered I got coke .

LongHorn Steakhouse service

A few of my friends and I went to dinner last weekend and it was an awful, awful experience. We first waited 45 minutes to be seated (we were told 20 minutes, tops.) and then once we were seated, we didn't see our waitress for ten minutes. She came over and got our drink orders and left. Another ten minutes went by and she came back to get our food order, without our drinks. So we ordered and she left. We waited and waited, still no drinks. Finally, 25 minutes later we got our drinks. However, while they poured my friend's margarita, they spilled the entire thing all over her and the table. They joked about it and never offered a discount or free drink, nothing. They just replaced her drink and told HER to pour it instead. At this point we had waited 35 minutes with no bread, no salad, nothing. Then after all this, 45 minutes later, they bring out the bread, our salads and our meals, at the same time. The whole experience was just, unfortunately, awful.

LongHorn Steakhouse pork chop meal - independence, ohio location

I went to Independance restaurant on August 4, 2017. My reservation was at 6:30pm for my birthday celebration. My party of 8 was seated at 7:30pm. I ordered the pork chop dinner and the pork chops were extremely salted. I complained to the waitress who said all there meat comes with this salty rub. I ask her to redo the pork chop and she said they would do it with no rub.When she brought back the new meal I boxed it up and took it home.When I went to eat at home. The still salty chops were under cooked and swimming in blood. Very disappointed for a birthday meal.

LongHorn Steakhouse food was not good at all.

Went the restaurant on Rte. 31 in Clay, NY. My wife ordered prime rib with a loaded baked potato. Prime rib was very good, but the baked potato had hardly any toppings on it. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and French fries. Pretty simple, right? I guess not... The fries were all small, like the last of the bag they dropped in the fryer and barely warm when brought to the table. Not exaggerating. The bacon on the burger was like shoe leather. Again, not exaggerating. Our waitress was polite and efficient.

LongHorn Steakhouse over charted

My husband and I are in florida on vacation, after we had a recommendation we decided to visit your vineland ave restaurant although our meal was fine
It wasn't until I tried to use my prepaid visa card your server seems to have helped himself to a tip... Although we had given him a cash tip,. Is this usual practices? Then there was the ladies washroom, they were abhorrent, there was blood all over the floor and had I seen it before I had my meal I would not have stayed.
I am a member of a social media group called "it's orlando time" it has over 100.00 members from all over, with people looking for hints, tips and recommendations and I am not sure I would recommend your vineland restaurant.

LongHorn Steakhouse pricing

My wife and i had lunch today 04-19-2017 at the longhorn at roosevelt square in jacksonville, fl. The food was good. While i was ordering i asked my server if the salad i wanted was $1.79 with the meal, he said it was, so my wife and i both had the salad. When the bill comes they charge me $5.48 for each salad. I told the server i was over charged and he said he would have it fixed. Then a lady comes out and gives me a bill for about $1.00 less. I said to her that the bill should be about $6.00 less. She says to me the only way we could get the salad to ring up for $1.79 was to charge me additional money for each meal, would i like to talk to a manager about it. I said no that i was upset about this, but i would pay it, but i would not return to that store and i would tell everyone i know not to go to that store.

LongHorn Steakhouse poor service and rude server

We celebrated a neighbor's 84th birthday at Longhorn Steakhouse #5364, 5706 W. Loop 1604, San Antonio, TX 78251. The time was 5:30 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2017. The time on the receipt was 6:58 PM.

We found the server (Amanda) to be brusque and her service was unacceptable.

When we first sat down, we were very cold, being seated directly below an air conditioning vent. We asked Amanda to move us to a different table. Instead, she asked the manager to turn down the temperature.

We had an email coupon for a free dessert, which we showed to Amanda at the beginning of our meal. During our meal, she stated that she would bring us the dessert menu. It took 4 or 5 polite requests from us before she finally brought it to us.

Another Longhorn Steakhouse, on the I-10 feeder road in San Antonio, is far superior.

We request a refund of the $29.21 we spent. Thank you.

LongHorn Steakhouse our longhorn has become too horrible for us

Good day. My name is Lisa Burnett. I am from Augusta Georgia, I'm 59 and not really hard to please. My husband owns a bar and grill, so I am usually very understanding when it comes to eating out. Just recently moved near the Washington Rd store. This location greets you with the most toxic and nasty smell as you enter the building. Not sure what it is but partially caused by drinks in the carpet and draft beer smells. Hard to want to eat if you have a decent nose. Second time the smell was so bad I tried to get my husband to leave, but he was right that it wasn't so bad if you moved away from the front door. That was when the roach crawled across the bench behind my husband. No problem, we killed it. Waited until no one was around and I very quietly told the server about it. She replied, oh we have been having a huge problem... Yuk. Then next time bad smell and my husbands ribeye was 10x tougher than my sirloin. Asked him can we please stop coming here now? This place is just awful. He said yes. Then Christmas my sister gives us a 50.00 gift card. Yesterday at 3:30 we went there one more time because of the gift. For once the smell was not so bad as it was warm and the door was open, however we were told that there would be a 15 to 20 wait as they only had 3 servers.. Couldn't have been more than 6 tables being served. I just turned around and walked out. Now. We still have 50 dollar gift card to a place we cant be served at 3 in the afternoon, if you overlook the horrible smell and roaches. I know one thing. If we got a review about our place like this one... I would be horrified... Hope you are. Also, are there any other places we can use this card? I don't even feel right regifting it.. I hate that my sister spent good money on a gift we simply don't have the patience, bug spray or nose for. BTW the hostess' have always been rude surly and downright cranky.. We ended up at Texas Roadhouse and everything about this place kicked Longhorn's butt.

LongHorn Steakhouse poor service and bad food

WOW! We are soo surprised how bad the food is. We paid over 50 bucks in this place for the two of us and the food is just not worth it. And the sides are small. The boneless steaks are seasoned with a Cajun or some very hot spice. In addition to that I feel a very immature attitude from our female server. Not attentive, take too long to serve drinks and salads, and no greeting. We will never go back.

LongHorn Steakhouse service, food.

On 12/15, myself and 3 others went to your restaurant at 2256 Mt. Zion Pkwy. in Morrow Ga. The wait staff were adequate and friendly. Our party and all the others in our section were bothered by the choice of music we were forced to listen to. We asked to talk with the manager, but never got a chance for he did not come to speak with us for our stay. We were told he was busy. Food had to be taken back to be recooked. As I had just moved into area and was checking out places I would like to go out to eat, I do not think I will be going back.

LongHorn Steakhouse food, service, cleanliness

On 5/30/16 we went to dinner at LongHorns Pittsburgh Mills. After waiting 15 minutes we were acknowledged and our drink order was taken, then another 15 minutes we received our drinks. We ordered apps and they were very good. Down hill from there. Dirty tables surrounded us when we finally got diners. (one was still dirty when we left) I picked up the salt shaker and my hand stuck to it. My steak was very tuff and I wanted to send it back, but by the time I got Her attention, my girlfriend was almost done. I made sure I paid for my baked potato and salad. The table next to us waited a half an hour for just their drinks. Then they brought out some of the food and 20 min later the rest, but they forgot one entrée. She waited another 10 minutes finally got her diner, no steak knife. What a disaster. I paid with a gift card had $10 left on it and left it for a tip, only because we knew we would never be back.

LongHorn Steakhouse overlooked twice to be seated

On Friday February 12, 2016, my husband and I went to the Longhorn Steak house in Midlothian, Virginia. We arrived at 5:20pm. We were told it would be about 30 minutes. People who arrived, with no reservations, after we did were being seated as well a everyone who was there when we arrived. My husband as the hostess if our buzzer was working and she said yes. We were 4th in line. After another 20 minutes, after being overlooked further and later arrivers going ahead of us. We had gotten real upset by then. My husband went up and gave our beeper back and explained again about being overlooked and not being seated. She never offered any apology nor did she offer to seat him. As I left I explained to the hostess that I think we were discriminated against because were old. Then she said well I can seat you now. We were both so upset that we just left. I called the customer service number right away, she apologized and said some one would call me I within 24 hours. Now it has been 3 days and no contact. We will not be going back to Longhorn because of this bad, in considerate experience.

LongHorn Steakhouse bad treatment. not advisable place

I came for the dinner to Longhorn Steak House. It was awful. I ordered food from floor manager and waited for my order 40 minutes. As well as he brought me salad and no utensils. I searched for him and asked to bring utensils, but he ignored me. As well as I looked into salad and I felt that there was too much vinegar. The smell was too strong. I left the salad, paid for the order and went away, because it wasn’t right place for me.

LongHorn Steakhouse the sum was wrong and they overcharged us

My wife and I visited the place Longhorn Steakhouse. We ordered two the same dishes and drinks, but in the end we received the bill from the waitress. I need to add that the waitress wasn’t polite and she knew nothing about the dishes and snacks in their restaurant. And in result, the sum in the bill was wrong, because the restaurant charged me and my wife for different sums for the drink and dishes. The sum was larger than we expected. So, be careful.

LongHorn Steakhouse poor service

My family and I went to longhorn by the mills mall there were 4 adults two children. We were seated right away, the waitress took our order we waited half hour never got our salads had to ask if the salads were coming soon, waitress did not know that we were to get salads until she checked our order. Then we waited another 45 min we had to asks when our entrees were coming she said soon by this time there were several table that were seating other people way after we got there and they were getting there order finishing and leaving we still did not have our food. The waitress kept telling us that our food was coming. We were about ready to leave when the manager came over and ask us if everything was alright we told him what was happening he said he'll find out. It turned out that the waitress never placed our order. Finally a hour and a half later we got our food. The manager gave us 25% off the bill. This has happen to us twice poor service NEVER GOING BACK.

For the past three times we dine out at Longhorn Steakhouse, all three times were bad, the Steaks were chewy not tender, eventhoug we ask for a medium steak. We will not be coming back to Longhorn Steakhouse again.

My family and I ate at the Lornhorn located at John's Creek in Georgia. The food was horrible (steak was dry, kids meal hotdog and fries were cold) and the adult meals looked smaller more then portions you receive on a kids meal menu. We will never eat at Lornhorn again! Never, Ever! Major disappointment!

The quality of Longhorn food has dramatically declined. As they continue to raise prices. For the price I now consider them a rip off. Terrible food at high prices. Not for me!

I'm sure that you do pay attention to the stated portion size when ordering. The top rated steak the Flo's Filet is only one ounce larger than the kids sirloin. The kids steaks tend to stay about the same size during cooking, however if you ordered your steak WELL DONE it is going to be dry and shrink.

We called at 5:30pm to put our name on the waiting list for a family anniversary dinner for eight people. We arrived at 6pm and waited and waited and waited meanwhile watching numerous people walk in a be seated and parties that waited a fraction of our time be seated as well. After speaking with the hostess about the waiting time, they began to sit a party of ten. Longhorn Steakhouse, you will never see a damn red cent of mine being spent in ANY of you Glorified Steak N Ale crap pot of an establishment. Your food was crap in Destin, FL. As well.

LongHorn Steakhouse bad service

I have always liked Longhorn Steakhouse, but sometimes having a horrible waitress just kills the experience. The sad part was the food would have been really good, but the waitress would bring it out after it had sat for awhile and it took her forever to come around when we needed something and the restaurant was not even half full. I was there for my birthday and she wished my Dad a "Happy Birthday" instead of me and gave the ice cream to him. I was like, "Wow, now that is horrible customer service at its best". She never even asked whose birthday it was and obviously did not care! It was pathetic. The food definitely did not disappoint so, at least, it was not a total waste of time and money.

LongHorn Steakhouse poor service

While waiting at the bar(6:30pm) for 2 other couples to show up, myself and my girlfriend had two drinks each.She had captain and coke and i had cognac.We decided to wait for everyone at a table.Our waiter asked if we were set with drinks and we said we were o.k. for now and i jokingly said i had a little glow but it did not matter because she was driving anyway!When everyone showed up they each ordered a drink including my girlfriend.I did not!At about 7:45pm i asked the waiter for a drink.A few minutes later a manager named Scott approached me and in a odd manner was trying to tell me i was not going to be served another drink.Evidently the bartender and or the waiter because of my joking statement earlier felt that i may have had enough. Note:6ft.3in.300lbs.I then stated to him i understood what he was getting at and said forget the drink.The more i thought about it the more upset i got with the whole situation. The way i was approached in front of our friends was degrading and embarrassing!I also spoke with another manager Patricia, and the bartender wanting to understand why this was done.I understand that establishments have policies and have to be careful when serving customers and i want to make it clear these conversations were always very civil and did not take on any form of disrespect from anyone.Also, i do not understand why my girlfriend was allowed a third drink and i was not. I did find it very difficult to drop the situation because of the embarrassment and it basically ruined my meal and my evening, also upsetting my girlfriend.I want to make it clear that we are regular customers where most of the waiters and waitresses know us. They also know that we are respectable adults and have never had any incidents in probably the 30+ times or more that we have been there since they opened. Unfortunately we do not know if we will ever return!It has definitely left a bad taste in our mouths.Thank you for your time! What can and will be done about this?

I don’t know what state your in, but Tx has a thing called TABC, and they are strict when it comes to that. That was a dumb "joke" on your part to be quite honest. She and these manager could get fined big time, and face jail time. If it came down to you getting your drink on or me going to jail...I would of done the same. Your behavior at the end kinda suggest she made a good call. The company doesn't owe you anything ...you wanted to be funny so here's your funny story.

The owner of the establishment or their assignee's has the right to cut-off anyone from more drinks. That being said, if they're also willing to annoy, patronize and humiliate guests that are "relaxed" after two drinks--they'll soon discover they're in the wrong business. In that situation the person in charge should have been able to detect the "cut-off" point with much greater precision--or--been man enough to re-evaluate the situation; discretely apologize and offer you a free meal. That's what I would have done. I own a business and the customer should always feel they're right--even if they have an "attitude". As long as they're spending money and not degrading another patrons enjoyment--they should be considered "masters" and myself and my staff "slaves".
There's other places out there that want your business. Find 'em!

LongHorn Steakhouse awful service

We went into Longhorn's last weekend and the server was awful. We got our meal before drinks, salad, and appetizer. So they took it back and got our drinks. We finally got our appetizer and salad. They had the nerve to bring us back the same food 20 mintues later. So I made a complaint to the manager. So he had them re-cook the food. But what really teed me off was that he did not comp anything off of the bill. So I had to pay full price for bad service. You can say it will be a very long time before I go back there and I told all my friends about the GREAT service I received.
