Long John Silver's failure to honor advertised web price of their fish & fries.

This incident took place on oct. 08, 2016 at the long john silver's seafood restaurant at 1960 e. Semoran blvd. Apopka, fl. 32703 at approx. 6:00 pm. Late that afternoon, I decided to check their web site menu to see it their fish & fries special was still in effect. It indicated that it was and as a result, I decided to go there for a quick dinner. Upon arriving at the restaurant the cashier told me that the fish & fries was not available at that price. I told them that I had just checked their advertised menu for the price and said that it was false advertising not to sell it to me at that price. They insisted that they could not honor that price. I then left telling them that I doubt they will be seeing me again. I have been patronizing this particular store ever since it was built over 25 years ago and never had a problem there before. I assure you their loss, if any, that they may have incurred, will never equal the loss from future loss of business. I will let long john's decide how they would like to resolve the issue.

Long John Silver's offer for $5. 00 gift card

The sandwich was great! Just disappointed about no Gift Card.

The manager Sean was very Rude An agitated that I A Loyal long John silver's customer In my family my family came to the drive-through at 8:30 p.m. Sunday March the 11th 2018 He Informed me that they would not serve me and could not take my order because he was closing the store early due to no customers for 10 min. every door it has posted that the store is open until 9 o'clock on Sundays nothing about closing early he was very rude and very agitated ...leaving me to explain To my grandchildren why the person that was in charge of the store was acting in such a manner.

Long John Silver's The fish was burnt and about 3 pieces of shrimp was somehow burnt also.

My husband and I haven't been to Long John Silver in about 6 months because of a similar incident. Two people, 3 people if you count the cook, 4 if you count the Manager! saw my 2 pieces of fish was burnt and 3 of the shrimp tasted burnt. This was a carry out at Berea, Kentucky on Aug 18, 2016. For me this the last straw for a Long Johns Silver. This used to be a year ago one of the resturants that was a special treat for us. This place gives AW a bad name. I spent almost 22.00 for a uneatable meal! i certainly feel we deserve a refund!

Long John Silver's store closing too early

I came up to the store at 745pm. The location is suppose to close at 8pm. The lady at the register looked at me and smiled because the door was locked and had the look as if she wasn't opening the door. If your company or restaurant closes at 8 pm then it should close at 8pm. Not 745 not even 759. Store location is Gratiot and Kilbourne Detroit Michigan 48213. I believe the store number is 31778.

Long John Silver's chicken cooked in the same grease as fish and shrimp

I am allergic to fish and shrimp, I went to the Portland, Texas location this morning, early afternoon. I ordered the L5 which is the chicken plank but I received an L3 which is the fish and shrimp basket. I talked to the cashier and told her that I was allergic to the fish and shrimp. The manager came over to the drive through window and told me that the chicken is cooked in the same grease/oil that the fish and shrimp. I have been every lucky that I have not gotten sick or died because of this stupid thing.

I have this issue happen before, and I was never told that the chicken is cooked in the same grease/oil. I just wanted to let you know that your company has a lost a customer. I have also put this on my social media account to make sure that NO ONE gets sick or dies because of this stupid decision to mix the items that some people are allergic too. I know several people that are allergic to seafood.

I honestly thought it was against the law to cook chicken in the same grease as seafood. Your company has a lost a customer, if your company ever decides to change this policy, I might come back but I will ask to speak to the manager before I order.

Don't go to a seafood restaurant if you are allergic to fish. There is always the chance for cross contamination even if they do cook separately.

Walmart used to cook shrimp in a separate section on the fryer and it tasted good. Then they started cooking the shrimp in with the chicken and livers. We wondered how people with shrimp allergies would do. After that, the shrimp tasted like chicken. I never got shrimp anymore. The fish and chicken taste the same at LJS. Cooking in the same fryer ruins the taste. I get sick everytime I eat at LJS. I had to quit eating there. It makes me so sick.

Long John Silver's chicken planks

I went through the drive thru at your Cressona Pa. Store #31499. I ordered 3 chicken planks a large coke and 6 shrimp. I took 15 to 20 minutes just to get my food. When I got home I went to eat and my chicken planks seemed like they were sitting around for awhile. They were dark brown and very dry. The shrimp was very good. But I was very dissatisfied with the 3 pieces of chicken. I normally don't have any trouble with the food I get at this store. But this time it wasn't good. I had to actually make something else at home because I couldn't eat the chicken. Although it took a little time longer then I expected to get my food. The young lady that took my order her name was Cierra H. was very nice and apologized for the wait.

Long John Silver's out of stock/salty to point of inedible

Went to store 2060 tonight. Wanted the 12 piece family meal deal. Was told they were out of mashed potatoes and corn. Then, instead of offering 3 sides and 12 hush puppies, I was told that hush puppies were a side. I read from their drive through menu...no. 3 sides + 12 hush puppies. Argued a bit on that but whatever...all they had were fries and slaw. I got 9 pc. Of fish and 3 of chicken. I took one bite of chicken when I got home and choked. It was so full of salt, there was no other taste. Not even chicken. My family said the same about their fish. I spent $26.00+ change for salt, fries, and slaw, which I hate, btw. I lost all of my money and had to make dinner for 4 anyway! That huge bag of crap was a waste of time, effort, and most of all, my hard earned cash. I am only working at temp jobs and wanted to treat my son. So much for trying! No corn, no mashed potatoes, salt with the essence of chicken, fish, and fries. Ugh. NEVER AGAIN!

Long John Silver's fish, coleslaw and hush puppies

We drove to the drive thru and ordered a 4 fish and 4 chicken dinner with cole slaw and fries, , we asked if the fish would be cooked fresh and was told it would be, , when we got home I swear all the food was from the previous day the fish was terrible and the coleslaw was dry and no taste, , , the hush puppies were terrible, , , the manager on dutyy was Mallory, , , I did not want to ever eat there again, , , , since then we set on this a couple of days and my wife went up and spoke with the day manager and voiced her opinion hoping to get the food back on track as we love the meals there when they are good

Long John Silver's harassment

I began working with Larry Baker and Veronica heleisin at long John silvers on our about February 5, 2016.i started noticing employees not washing hands or dishes properly and using out of date food. As well as giving food to their families who came in every day. Now to the main part about the beginning of March Veronica started harassing me sick as whispering obscenities in my ear, grab me by my solution and drag me to the freezer. Or started to really make me uncomfortable so I talked to Larry he said he would day something but he didn't I asked where I can find the human resource info but it wasn't posted anywhere. So he let me take 1/2 weeks off whish I was hoping he would x solve the issue but he didn't she still kept on with the harassment. I do have witnesses my co workers Lori Franco, Brandon Moran, Lupe, Sonia king, Clayton chapel. I quit today because I can't handle all the harassment at the big spring, TX location. Now I'm with out a job with 2 children because of their dirty obscenities. My number is [protected]. Thank you

Long John Silver's horrible food

april 3rd around 6pm driving down 81 in martinsburg, wv we stopped for the night and decided LJS...first off the drive thru menu and intercom was down so had to wait til we got to window to order the 8 peice meal with 6 cookies...back at motel 15 miles a3way fish was dripping in oil and hard, cole slaw was sour, hushpuppies only 3 of the 8 could be eaten!the cookies were frozen hard...i wrote to that LJS he tells me to come back and he'll give me another meal...problem is i live in morganton, nc and don't travel that way! so am i out 28 bucks cuz i don't live close enough? this is very unfair!

Long John Silver's slow service

I've been going to this particular store for years but recently it has went downhill fast. The drive thru has been broken for over a year I know of and when you go inside to order it is very slow. You have to wait a long time for your order even when there is hardly anyone in the store.

Poor service, rude as hell manager, management kissing on male employee on back line. Clarksburg Long John's is the nastiest place to go to. Never knew fraternizing was aloud but I guess with poor district managers anything can go on. Why is this kind of stuff aloud. This used to be a great establishment years ago but now our family wont even go to this location.. Too much horseplay and getting all messed up running in and out going to managers car. Do drug testing guarantee you will have to find new employees. We love Long John's but not Clarksburg West Virginia location.

Long John Silver's food

Food was Terrible. The fish was not properly fried and cole slaw was spoiled. Food was taken back to the store to indicate the terrible food quality served on a to go order. Manager was very unattentive and wanted to resolve matter by replacing the spoiled coke slaw with corn on the cob sides and cokes. Food caused my son a stomach ache and vomit. Tried to explain this to the manager, Refused to provide refund and substituted with food that was not desired. Will never return again. Food taste is disgusting for the price and side effect the taste of food caused, Yuk!

Long John Silver's throwing away fond personal property

My wife and I with our baby were eating at the Long John Silvers in Purcell, Ok and we had accidentily left the baby's pacifier with the clip holder attached to it that my mom had bought and we called 20 minutes later when we noticed it missing and they had thrown it in the trash instead of holding it for at least 24 hours like they are supposed to do and didn't even seem to care. They should be responsible for paying for a new one. People are so rude these days they don't even care that it belonged to someone and that it meant something to us.

Long John Silver's dirty nasty conditions, tables gross, no condiments in the pumpers, soda machine broke

After a pretty good shopping trip I let my two kids 11, 9 pick where they would like to have dinner.They chose long john silvers in belle Vernon pa, we went in to eat and ordered a family meal with corn and fries. After ordering we walked down to the condiment station and couldn't help to see the "kitchen area" GROSS as ever. Absolutely terrible I'm not sure if they use flour but there was a white powder spelled all down a counter and onto the floor with everything else from this week!Not one pump of ketchup to be found and the soda machine broken. Then to find a clean table was nowhere to be found! Never again! I wanna say my order was $26 and I wasn't sure if it was safe to even eat there! Not that they were busy because it was pouring down rain and only us and one other family was sitting there! C'mon clean up your work place... Eew...

Long John Silver's manager

The last 2 occasions I've arrived at the store 31591 in Salem, VA, the manager on duty has verbally complained about my walking through the door. The first time was on Sunday February 7th and I wasn't completely sure I heard him right, so I blew it off and came back again on the following Sunday February 14th. At that time he mutter just loud enough for me to hear him, something along the line of; "Oh no, hear we go again" or something like that. At which point I verbally confronted him across the encounter and he completely ignored me. I asked one of his staff what his name was and the staff member finally whispered it to me; "Denver". Obviously he was terrified to be overheard giving me the manager's name which just goes to show what type of management style he uses.

The funny thing though; after viewing my reaction, I had 2 other regular customers come up to me and indicate they had issues with him. I want him gone.

Long John Silver's unsanitary conditions

On 02-19-2016 I went to store #E331001 at 2:40 PM this is the second time I have been to this establishment. The unsanitary conditions in this establishment felt far below my standards. The tables were dirty, food particles, dried soda pop, etc. The counters by the condiment's were even worse. The floors had food particles, napkins, straw wrappers, etc., Scattered about. When I got my order I noticed food particles on the floor behind the counter, some French fries, and a biscuit that had been stepped on. I was there for approximately thirty minutes and during that entire time not one employee made any effort rectify the problem. I doubt I will go there again unless I receive some type of reassurance that the aforementioned establishment is making a concerted effort to maintain sanitary conditions.

Long John Silver's food appearance and service

On 2/15/16 we went to Long Johns in the early afternoon, at 34506 16th in Federal Way WA . The orders were so backed up we had to wait a few minutes to order, then wait a few minutes for our food, then when we got it about half of it was way overdone, soggy and dark brown. There apparently weren't enough employees who knew what they were doing, one was in training it seemed, as the manager was constantly micromanaging the orders.

Years ago my daughters and I would go to Dairy Queen, and wonder if they had to butcher the cow before we got our hamburgers. This was a similar experience.

I am only telling you this so that you can improve the dining experience. Thank you.

Long John Silver's food & service

On 2/10/2016 my husband drove me to the nearest LJS establishment to us located at 3103 College Park Drive The Woodlands, TX 77384.
I was NOT pleased with the service, food or the cleanliness of the ladies room.
Our order was placed as a to go order and was presented to us as a dine in.
The fish was old and tasted like it had been left in the freezer too long. The fries were over cooked and ther was no tea, no napkins and the ladies room was in need of attention. The young lady at the front counter was too busy working the drive thru to attend the customers at the counter. Another young lady came from the very back and asked the customers at the counter how she could assist us. She very quickly saw to the customers needs and righted what she could. I was very disappointed in the service, or lack of, from the cashier: Maria G. The young lady that did attend to those of us at the counter after Maria G went to the drive thru window and refused to acknowledge those of us at the counter, was a slender build with black hair and a small tattoo on her neck. We were not able to get her name as she was busy helping correct the issues up front. I know this is a Taco Bell/Long John Silvers store, but the service was not up to standards and the food was not of LJS status...greatly dissappointed. Ticket number 100763 Amount $20.74. Store # 027799. I would like a refund please.

Long John Silver's cod fish

I am making a complaint against store K295005 1466 Rt 9 S Howell NJ 07731. We went to purchase a Cod Meal for Ash Wednesday 2/10/2016 we were told two weeks ago the were going to have the fish and nothing . So we got two fish/shrimp dinners discusting we spend $22.00 for garbage tgr shrimp were hard, hush puppies greasy and hard and the breading on the fish was awful, I am done with your restaurant should of went to Mc Donalds.

Long John Silver's wrong food/time

Arrived at drive-thru window 6:15pm and waited til 6:21 to place order. Ordered #6 - 3chicken planks, fries and extra hushpuppies as sides. Opened box to check order. No side of hushpuppies. Cashier asked another employee and she relayed info they were out of hushpuppies and gave us shrimp instead. Told her we don't eat that. She offered extra piece of chicken. I said OK and she took box to finish order. When I returned home my son opened the box to find 2 1/2 tiny pieces of chicken, NO FRIES, a burnt piece of shrimp and EXTRA HUSHPUPPIES. Did an employee possibly like to me and cashier that they were out of hushpuppies? I also asked for ketchup twice but none was in bag. Called store and asked for manager. Guy that answered said he was just the cook and said manager was busy - her name is Serra. He went ahead and put her on the phone. I asked if she was the cashier that was working the window and she stated she was the shift manager -- they do not currently have a manager as he was let go and another store manager is overseeing their store also, they have new employees they are training, etc. ---- NONE OF WHICH IS MY PROBLEM. This mess isn't Serra's fault as she is trying to do everything at the store as a shift manager -- they need a manager there as I always have issues with the time it takes to get my orders. Anyway, I paid $7.46 for this less than a meal -- I WANT $7.46 refunded to me. I should have got this for free. Mail check to Brenda Fisher, 104 Ashley Dr., Edmond, OK 73003. My son loves this place but I don't know if I want to ever visit it again. Generally takes at least 30 minutes in drive thru to get food and usually order is wrong.
