I received a message from Loan Point USA by voice mail saying that they needed to verify my address so that I could be served with court papers. I told the lady that I was will ing to pay what I owe if she could send me something in writing stating the amount I owe and a physicall address where I could send payment. I refuse to give them my bank information. My question: Can this company really serve me court papers at work? Do you know of anyone that has been sued by this company?
OMG - this company sucks. They suck the funds out of your back account forever. When will they ever stop. Does anyone know the law in Michigan?
The same exact thing happened to me today. The lady was trying to get me to agree to something she wouldn't prove. I am not agreeing to pay anything I have no idea about and she wont provide documents first.
THEY CALLED ME LAST WEEK FROM SOME RECOVERY SERVICE. REGARDING LOAN POINT USA AND THAT THEY WERE GOING TO SERVE ME PAPERS..BOTH OF THESE COMPANYS ARE IN UTAH... I PULLED UP LOAN POINT USA AND CHECKED THE MAP AND THEY DON'T EVEN LOAN IN THE STATE OF VIRGINIA. SO I DON'T KNOW HOW I GOT A LOAN WIYH THEM. IN 2007. ATLEAST THATS WHAT THEY ARE SAYING..
I just got a call from them too email me so that i can talk with you about how u handeled it because I'm not sure that it's even me or just a scam trying tto get money from me.
