After being charged 87.13 for a product that I did not purchase or receive. I was unable to contact the company via the # the bank gave me. It eather was busy or the mail box was full. I did some research. Here is the link to a # to reach Lipaphen Acai Berry to get a refund of the product. http://www.acaiberrydetox.com/refunds.aspx . They promised that the $ would be refunded, and no more charges made. We will see how it turns out. the contact informatin is

I am trying to cancel my trial order that went into a subscription and the numbers 866-870-0692 and the new
one, 866-949-0138 is not working. What do I do? I do not
want to pay for another bottle.

I actually found a number that works. It is 954-699-0814. As of today I have cancelled my AcaiBerry sub-scription with Lipaphen and will not be charged for
another order. For some reason the agent on the phone, a lady could not pull up my information, yet
they are taking money out of my account and twice
now. She said she would forward information I gave
her to the refund department and I would not be charged for another order. I pray it works. My
mother was the one I ordered it for and she was
taking it.

Tameka - thanks for your research! I called the number and spoke w/a rep. Let's see if she truely has put in the cancellation. I would like to add she was curt with me when I informed her the trial product was never received. This looks like fraud!

They do not make it very clear upfront that there is a catch. For sure, something needs to be done. I have been on the phone for days trying to reach someone at this company. I'm still on hold as I'm typing this entry. I just want to know if anyone was fortunate enough to get their money back and if everything turned out okay.

Yeah, you're right! I also got soaked for $87.13 TODAY and cannot make rent without it. I found the name of the company on my bank statement and started researching. When I tried to call (and it's Saturday) I got put on indefinite hold.
I bookmarked the phone number so I can call on Monday and try to get a refund.
How about a class action suit and reports to the BBB?

Just got ripped off too! A class action suit sounds good to me - I HATE when people intentionally set out to rip off folks. I haven't even had the opportunity to try the so-called "free trial". I can't afford 87.13 being taken out of my account.

IT'S A SCAM!!! DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCTS. Not only was I charged for the initial free trial supply, I was then charged 87.13 for a month's supply of a product that I NEVER received. I've been dealing with them for over a month now trying to get a refund. All they can tell me is they've submitted anther ticket to the billing dept which they can only contact via email. Yeah, you can ask to speak to a supervisor but then you are put on hold indefinitely! I've contacted the Better Business Bureau and taking a trip to their "so called" offices. I WILL get my money back!!!

I am new at this. Just noticed I got charged $40 for a "free" product I never received. I called the number (it worked fine). Her name is Gale. She promised she would refund my $40 & I could go ahead & keep my "free" product. I told her I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING. I also told her I was so scared (after reading all these complaints) that I would refuse the free products if they ever did come. She gave me a confirmation number to put on the package. I pray it works & hope the best for all of you also. I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING ON LINE AGAIN.

I got the free sample, and was charged 89.13 fo product I never received!!! Tried all contact #s and got the 40.00 Detox money back, but no 89.13!!! THIS IS FRAUD!!!

I too was charged $87.13 for product I never received and did not want. I called Lipaphen and spoke with rep who assured me I would get a full refund. Well, I got a refund but of only $40--not $87.13. When I called back to complain I was pretty much told too bad. I was now informed tha I was charged a fee for cancelling my order and I would not get any more of a refund. they stold $47 of my money.

I am not stopping in my demand for a full refund. It's their toll free number I'm calling-they pay for the call-and I have a lot of time.

If anyone knows of a class action suit being started please post it on this site so we cqan all participate.

I was just informed that my account was also billed $80. I received a free trial offer but did not see anything on their website that mentioned anything about further money being taken for a subscription. My account is now in the negative. I am going to call the company and see what I can do. The bank said I will probably have to close my account. IT'S A SCAM!!!

I, Like all of you, have been scammed!!!
I have called and filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, FWM Laboratories are in their system! If we all file our complaints we can put a stop to this so no one else will be scammed. I am short on bills and am going to be paying overdraft fees on my account. My other checks out are not going to clear.
You know what the lady at their customer service dept. told me? (after several attempts at different #'s to no avail) THEY ARE WITHIN THEIR LEGAL BOUNDARIES!!!
I also sent the entire BBB complaint to Oprah, MSNBC and CNN. The ad I found this stuff on claimed to be featured at those places.
SO LETS GO GET THEM!!!
File your reports! go to
www.complaints.BBB.org and you can file a complaint there. if you search by phone # 866-949-0318 you can find them in the BBB system.
Hope this works, but it only will if enough of us complain!!!

These folks also will use another name to start withdrawing funds from you credit card. I signed up for a free trial of Acaiberry Detox, and have now been charged twice for it. Then charges began to come from Lipaphen. I also have been charged twice for this. I have cancelled the credit card number, lots of time and trouble involved here, and have been in touch with my credit card company. Since I did not ok these charges, I will probably receive a refund after I file a formal complaint with them. I also think we should all write the BBB. I am also thinking of writing to the FBI, since this is interstate fraud. I will probably just write one letter to the bank, explaining my situation, and then just remove the sections where I use my card numbers, and make extra copies for the BBB and the FBI. Anyone know of anyone else that might be interested? I'll write them too.

Lipaphen Acai Berry - Unauthorized charge $87.13 of 01/24/2009.
After my 01/02/2009 intervention (at the same day of that trial order), the Acai Elite (they use different names) has confirmed the cancellation my trial order. I had provided the cancellation number to my Bank’s Fraud Department.
With the January 16, 2009, letter, Bank’s Customer Satisfaction Department had informed me about $3.95 credit for a trial order with ACAIBERRY and assured that no other finance charges of the company will be taken into account with regard to the dispute. Unfortunately, on January 24, 2009, LIPAPHEN again charged my account with $87.13 for a product that I did not purchase or receive. Unbelievable!

I, too, was charged $87.13, they refunded only $40. I am going to send these people a letter and copy the office of the Florida District Attorney.

I signed up for a free trial of Acaiberry 02/09/09 and have now been charged one more time for it. Then charges began to come from Lipaphen - twice for this. Everything, just in one billing cicle- 174.26. Unbelieveable!!!I have cancelled the credit card number.Kayli is right - we have to write to Oprah, MSNBC, CNN and Better Business Bureau!

I ordered the trial supply of Acai Berry and Bromalite for the shipping cost. I did not see the trial time witch the Bromalite man said was 14 days. When I went back to the web site it said 12 days. I asked my credit to dispute the charge. They said to send the bottle back and ask for a refund, but it is unlikely they will do it. 2 days later I saw the charge for Lipaphen which I didn't recgonize as Acai berry. I called my credit card again and they cancelled the card. I am out the charge for both products. I recommend getting new card and cancelling the old. Lynette

I finally reached someone, and guess what? Yep, could barely speak English and told me that my account was active and she would cancel it as of todays date. Well, that is great, wish I had receieved the product though...not much fun paying and not getting. This is a definate SCAM and a Class Action Suit is about the only way to go I guess. The amount charged is not a really great amopunt, $ 87.13, but this was not a clear cut sample, and I never received it anyway, but I am learning...Good Luck to all who try to get money back, I did not get mine. I have also been scammed and very frustrated. I had cancelled my subscription the day I received the bottle b/c it said breastfeeding moms should consult doctor. Made me leary so just cancelled it. Then I had a $40 charge about 2 weeks later. I called them. Fought up a sstorm. They said I never cancelled. Then they said they would send a ticket in to get my refund to call back in 10 days. Called back in 10 days. Was denied the refund. Put up a fight. They said I would get my refund. Waited a few days...No refund..Called back. They said it would be 2-4 weeks. Waited 4 weeks. Called back. They said 2 weeks..Waited 2 weeks...CAlled back...They said 3-5 business days..Waited 2 weeks...Called back insisted on talking to a supervisor..She said I was never told I would get my refund. After fighting perfusivly she said I would get it in 3-5 business days..Well, that was 2 weeks ago. I think I finally give up. I am going to report it to everywhere possible. Hopefully if enough of us report them we will get our money back...Crystal
