Lifestyle Lift botched results and canceling my appointments and overdosing me

they overdosed me when I was suppose to be awake, I still have the jowel problem, they made my eyes look worse, I have little knots in my neck from stitches, my ears where not stitched and had to be opened to heal somewhat normal, one scar is still to visible. They fired to doctor, not sure why. they agreed to redo my eye lids, as now I was afraid to redo the rest, so I didn't ask. now after scheduling my vacation and my daughter is coming to town, they say the doctor is on medical and don't have anyone else to fix the problem. they want to send me 2 and4 hrs away to cleveland or chicago and can't even tell me that it will be the same day. I found out about this by calling there myself. they where not going to call me till 2 weeks prior to. what can I do?

Lifestyle Lift Scaring

I am also a victim of the Lifestyle Lift procedure and the inexperience of the doctor doing it. I was promised quick, easy, pain free results. Instead I suffered excruciating pain, developed thick, keloid scars all around my ears and neck and just had to undergo extensive surgery to try to fix the horrible mistakes that were made. I spoke to the Kadanoff & Kadanoff, PLLC [protected] in NY and they are helping me sue the company and the doctor for all the pain they have caused me. I hope it will make the company and the doctor change this procedure or how it is performed so no more women have to suffer!

Lifestyle Lift Be afraid of those surgeons

I am going to sue! Several weeks ago I went to Lifestyle Lift for a neck lift. I paid the exuberant price of $6, 500, suffered through over 500 stitches and experienced weeks of agonizing pain all for nothing. Right after the surgery I was veyr swollen, but I thought this was normal then, then the swelling finally subsided, my face was back to normal, just as it was before I even went into surgery! I went through all of that only to get zero results!

I went back for a follow-up appointment and the surgeon said he didn’t pull my skin tight enough. Now I was truly on the warpath, because I had to fight to even get this follow-up appointment. I phones the offices multiple times and no one would take my call, so I called my surgeons cell phone and finally set up an appointment time. The surgeon was very reluctant to see me and barely stayed long enough to hear my complaint. I do not think he cared at all! He definitely wasn’t interested in helping me, just in sending my on my way. He dismissed me with fake kindness and practically shoved me out the door.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and care I received and am in the process of looking for a malpractice attorney to sue Lifestyle Lift. They won’t get away with this, not if I can help it!

I had a similar experience and would be interested in suing. I have written to the Attorney General in CA and in his response he said "if legal action is taken against the company your complaint could be utilized as important evidence. Legal action could be taken against this company" if they get enough evidence. I urge you to write to the Attorney General in CA, Kamala D. Harris. If you are using a malpractice attorney, I would appreciate it if you let me know who he is. Could you post it at this site?

I also paid over $6, 000 and look no better. Left side jowl is actually worse. Went for a revision which I could not go through with becuase of insufficient sedation. They only used Diazepam and Lorazepam which are for antianxiety. Apparently the stopped using Halcion which is a sedative becaue some patients had a bad reaction I was totlly awake and aware, and apparently they expected me to tolerate multiple injections and basically detatching my ears from my head with no sedation.

Lifestyle Lift Scam

I went in to have a mini-facelift that was supposed to remove my jowls and tighten up my lower face. After the swelling went down I could see no difference in my face and went back to the doctor to show him and was basically ignored. My sister had the same procedure done the same day with the same results. She went back with me 60 days later and we were left sitting in a room for a long period of time, and finally just left the office. We then did what we should have done before and that was go online to check this company out. Boy we were shocked to see so many complaints aganst this company! Surprisingly no one has done anything about it so I decided to try to change that. My sister and I are considering filing a claim against them in Small Claims court and would appreciate any advice you could give us. I did notify the BBB about this but was told they could not help me. They referred me to a medical website which I tried to contact, but never received any reply from them. The BBB did have some complaints about this company but I don't know for sure what they were. I would appreciate your feedback on this.

This company is a scam and all they care about is financial numbers not the patient. As a former employee I can tell you that hardly any of the nation companies consultants even have a medical background and could be really good used car salesman.

I had a similar experience. I'm out over $6, 000 not to mention pain and suffering and loss of work. I contacted the Attorney General in CA and got a response stating "legal action could be taken agains this company by our office. Your complaint could be utilized as important evidence and provide vital documentation for our use." I urge you to contact your attorney general. I plan to notify the state medical board and Florida Attorney who is doing an investigation.

The vast majority of Lifestyle Lift doctors are DOs (not even MDs) and are NOT Plastic Surgeons. David Kent is the founder and he is a DO.

Gordon Quick is their CEO, and was alleged to commit sexual battery and harassment when CEO for a non-medical company in MO-

Great choice for a company that works primarily with women.

Their doctors themselves have very weak credentials and there is not a single credible doctor in their organization; most of them are journeymen, and go from practice to practice. In addition to several Lifestyle Life deaths, they have had several life-threatening infections including Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) because they don’t sterilize their instruments; their surgeries take place in an office room.

They should be shut-down. Any harmed patient should contact their state medical board and also the Florida Attorney General who is doing an investigation.

I had to drive almost 300 miles one way to get to the Lifestyle Lift location. I had explained to the representative EXACTLY what my needs were prior to going and that my situation was due to Bells Palsy and I needed to pull my brow up from hanging in my eye. They made me feel like I had come to the right place for help. They asked a lot of questions and I explained my only goal is to pull the brow up so I can have better vision. Upon getting to the appointment the individual assigned to my case informed me they do NOT do brow lifts. I asked WHY, , after I had fully explained my situation to the rep on the phone I had to make a 600 mile round trip to be told this information and asked if the reps get a commission...she said yes they do. I emailed them to tell them I would be calling the BBB. A rep called from the Schaumburg, Illinois location and encouraged me to see one of the surgeons at his "private practice". If I hadn't already figured out this was a scam, that was the 100% clincher. What a sick, twisted bunch of people. I went there hoping for help. I cannot afford a plastic surgeon and my insurance will not cover my issue. What horrible people to prey on those looking for help...not just a 'beauty fix'. Be warned! These are evil people.

My mother, 84 years old, decided to have this procedure performed on July 1 for the first half and July 30 for the second half. I have never heard of a two part facelift. After the second procedure which they gave her a prescription for 750mg of Vicodin, 20 tablets, way too strong for someone her age, she was hospitalized for 7 days. She was diagnosed with Encephalopathy which gave her dementia. Encephalopathy was described to me as a swelling of the brain. She was totally confused and could not separate fact from fiction. She was seeing bugs, people trying to kill her, people fighting with her; she called the police that people were breaking into her home. From the hospital she then spent 9 days in a nursing home. We have spoken with a REAL plastic surgeon and he said he would never operate on an 84 year old and never has done a facelift in two parts. The word needs to be spread on these quacks. MD Degrees or not these people need to be stopped. Since when does a sales person discuss a medial procedure with you? I only wish that my mother would have spoken to her two daughters about this before doing it. One look on the internet and you can see this was not the place to go. Not only did this threaten her life, the surgery was very substandard. There is a reason why this is not located in a hospital. NO HOSPITAL WOULD HAVE THEM.

I had this lift in June 2006. In the early months I was very excited and it appeared that I had received the results that I wanted...As a result of the early months there was 6 of my friends that also had this procedure. We were all shown what our results would look like by the person that stood behind us and pulled the skin back...Of the 6 that had this procedure we are all extremely dissatisfied...Other than the scars on my ears (that I now have to wear a hairstyle that covers) I look the same. We have an appointment on Tues Aug 25th with one of the Drs. It will be interesting to see what they say...you can contact me at mac123sky@yahoo.com

Look I say it is time to take action! I had my life Style lift at Troy Michigan office. I say let's stop complaining and get together and take action! My story is horrible. My results are horrible. I have an infection in the surgical area's, I was lied to, mislead, and taken for my money as well. All the complaints I have read, I so understand. We are human beings and not animals. If lawyers don't wanna take the chance, then we should as a group of people stand together and take action! This is my email lisalisa1507@yahoo.com my surgery was 4/09 and I have horrible scarring, headaches, vision problems, terrible itching, feels like bleach being poured on an open wound. Yes I have been ignored as well. I requested my records and have consulted some lawyers but looking for the best. Even without a lawyer I will pursue this cause. Rememeber facts speak for themselves, and those scars on our faces, our hearts, and the lies will come to the surface. Let us ban together and let our scars tell the true stories of what we have endured. Please look up on the internet the story of the NY Attorney Generals judgement against Lifestyle lifts. Numbers speak louder than high priced lawyers! Let us stop this from happening to other people. "I will not let fear stop me from the justice due me." I ask for justice from lifestyle lift to no avail. Now I seek it! Stand with me.

Lifestyle Lift look like I did before surgery

This company needs to be shut down! I had my lower LSL 8 weeks ago, and already I am dissastified and am looking for a lawyer. I am in pain, I have numbness from my neck lift. At first I was so swollen I thought it was going to be ok. Then after all the swelling west away, my face returned to the normal state before the surgery. I paid $6500.00, had over 50o stitches, excruciating pain for weeks, 4 weeks of down time. Same story as everyone elses's. I thought I had a good board certified surgeon, but I was wrong and he told me he didn't pull my skin tight enough. I learned that in a 7 week follow up visit I had with him, in which I had to pull teeth to get. The office, after three different days of calling, never returned my call. I called the surgeon on his cell phone and got an appt. in the Maitland Office, which is where I had my surgery. He did not want to help out at all and sent me out the door after "smoozing" me over with some kind words. I am now looking for an Attorney in this area to sue LSL. If anyone has the name of a malpractice Attorney, please send it my way, as I am on the warpath! Thanks!

I also had an 8, 000.00 dollar surgery done in California, and I an very up set. I have no feeling my ears and parts of my neck are numb. I have scares on both sides of my face and my neck looks like a saggy bag. I had my eyes done and now one eye is A framed, there is a line of skin running down from the top of my eye down the eye lid. I am so depressed over this I hardly leave my house, and never without sun classes.

I had the surgery done in the same Maitland office and there is no difference in the before and after pictures. After wearing the neck and chin lift device they sold me and said I had to wear it for 2 weeks, All I had was bruising and scars from where they went into my neck and I was not offered any follow-ups or soothing words. I was only charged $800 because of a coupon. The surgery took 5 minutes. Not bad for $800 and I look the same if not worse... contact me @ mugen43 yahoo.com 0r [protected]

Lifestyle Lift DECEPTIVE ADS

One just has to look at the ads for Lifestyle lift, both on TV and on the Internet. The TV ads have been shot with either gauze or vaseline smeared on the camera lens to impart a softer, younger look. And the Internet before and after ads have been shot differently - the lighting and the poses - to exagerate both the before problems and the after improvement. With this kind of deception from the onset, I wouldn't let them touch my face.

I had the lower LSL on 8/5/11. I agree with everyone on here. at 7 weeks, now 8, I don't look like I've had anything done. I look like I did when I walked in for a consultation. $6500.00 plus spent on the surgery, 500 plus stitches in my had, lumps under my chin, excruiciating pain for weeks, more down time than they said it would be, calls into the office in Maintland where they never called me back, finally a return visit with the surgeon at 7 weeks to complain, I am getting an attorney this week! Let's shut them down! Orlando, Florida.

Lifestyle Lift Avoid this place at all costs

I had a LSL in 2006. I was told by the consultant(non medical personnel, that I was an excellent candidate. She showed me the incisions would be in the ear, possibly extending a bit into the fild, a small incision in front of the ear. I was given a high sales pitch& offered a nice discount if I signed then.I was told you could go back to work the next day& it was a minimal procedure that takes 7-10 yrs off your face& lasts approx. 10 years. What I was given was incisions all the way around my ears. My left earlobe was pulled down, misplaced& sewn to my face. I have been to Dr after Dr to get the searing/tearing pain resolved. No-one has yet to help me. LSL does not have in writing what the procedure entails. WE are told by the consultant& Dr. This is so wrong. Their infomercials on TV cleverly minimize the results, the pain, the procedure itself. I was never marked before the procedure& had no aftercare. LSL just wants to get you in, get your money& forget about you. That's been my experience& the experience of over 50 girls having this done, that I personally email that I met on Realself.com. Be aware if considering this. Check out you DR. Be very clear in having them tell you where the incisions will be. Be sure they are board certified Plastic surgeons. Not many are still with them, I hear.The lift lasts for many just under 6 months.There are many shots put in your face & the procedure is very scary. Again, please check out your Dr& ask all the right questions. Many were left with horrible pain, many with big ropey scars& many have misplaced and/or pixie ears. Be careful. There are some good Dr's associated w/ them, but I don't know where. I have seen posts of a few happy people. In my case& many others we were all told a small incision& got lower facelifts. They do not keep personal surgical reports or even log us calling back in upset. The Dr's frequently do not return your calls. I was not given a pressure bandage to help w/ the swelling/ Most real Plastic surgeons are finally beginning to talk out against this corporation& it's not pretty.

Lifestyle Lift Return of deposit

I had appointment on 5-18-11 and made $400.00 deposit.I called [protected] on 5-19-11 and cancelled procedure and requested my deposit to be credited back on my credit card. I was told the local office in phoenix would call me, but I was never called, so I called the local office and spoke with Aaron Clarke, consultant. he stated my credit card deposit of $400.00 would be returned and reason for cancellation of procedure would be given to his supervisor that day, (5-19-11), it has not been removed from my credit card account. The website does not allow me to email my concern. What do you think I should do? I will call visa and stop payment if I hear nothing by Monday 5-23-11 or maybe someone has a better solution to this situation I created for myself. Thank you

Lifestyle Lift financing

I accepted a deferred payment plan. The staff gave me a instruction to pay $400 every month. I followed thru by paying exact amount on time. The month prior to the last payment the financing company send me the bill for $600. I have not noticed the difference in number and paid $400 as per usual bill. They charged me $803 for this.
I believe it is a deliberate deception scheme of which doctor Small is aware and benefits from.

If you have a problem with a Lifestyle Lift doctor, the best way to get their atttention is by reporting the doctor to the state Medical Board. For the company, report to local TV media and to the state Attorney General.

Lifestyle Lift misleading ads

If it sounds too good to be true...we all know the rest. Recently I "took their ad bait" and made a consult appointment. The person I talked with was a trained semi-high pressure sales rep, obviously calling from a centralized "boiler room" operation. She said I could only get the info packet and dvd by coming in for a free consult. Though doubts had already started, I made an appt. Two overly friendly appt. reminders followed, also from a boiler room operation. After looking up what meager info there was on the doctors, too many things didn't feel right and I cancelled. Almost immediately I got calls from the original contact person, urging me to keep the appt., reaffirming LSL's claims of 1 hour, minimal discomfort, etc. Then she said, "Does canceling have anything to do with 'all that false misinformation on the internet?'"What?!

I hadn't read the net reviews since I was just going for info, and had in fact more or less decided it all felt too creepy. What an enlightenment! Why are these people still in business, still allowed to make these overblown promises and outright lie? And to offer discounts if the patient signs on the line right then and there? That should be anyone's cue to make a break for the exit and never look back.

Thank you all who posted complaints; I wish you well and hope you can find some remedy. Don't believe ANYTHING that remotely smells like high pressure sales. Reputable REAL doctors wouldn't do that. Thank heaven I followed my instincts in the first place.

Lifestyle Lift Patient abandonment / duty of care

Prior to the surgical procedure that I had done there were several consultations with the staff and Dr. at the Lifestyle Surgery Center in Santa Ana, Ca. I believed everything they told me about having no down time and great results with very little discomfort. On March 31, I had a Lifestyle Lift procedure. It was quite painful and I was only given 3 valium during the entire procedure (they kept the other three). I returned the next day to have the bandages removed and discussed the care that was required for proper healing. I had a difficult time with the swelling/pain and had to call the office. The Dr. wasn't available to speak with me so I waited until that evening before I heard from him. He prescribed steroids. The swelling and pain persisted. I continued to clean the incisions and had ice packs on around the clock. The following week I had the sutures removed (most of them anyway, a few were left). I was still in pain and still swollen, they assured me this would go away soon. The next day I called the office to make an appointment for three weeks. I was told I would get a call back. I never received a call and tried again the next day. This went on for weeks. I left message after message. I was still having trouble and concerns with the healing.
I continued calling and was told each time someone would call me back. After 3 months I e-mailed their corporate office in Michigan. I received a phone call the next day from the Office Manager apologizing for the neglect of a staff member not forwarding my messages. A meeting was scheduled to discuss my frustrations with this facility and the lack of professionalism and a duty of care I never received.
I met with the Office Manager and was informed the employee who took all my messages and never forwarded them was fired. She also knew how upset I was with the treatment I received, the incision didn't heal properly.
After this meeting which was pointless, I contacted their Corporate Office again and faxed the details of the past few months. It was sent to their Medical Director for review. The Office Manager was contacted by her Corporate Office and denied all the phone calls I made for over three months and documented in my file that patient was unresponsive. She also denied firing anyone from her office.
I called the Office Manager the next day a taped recorded the conversation which was also sent to their Corporate Office. The Office Manager admitted that corporate doesn't know anything about what really happened. A staff member was fired. The phone calls I made were logged but never sent on and I was denied post-op care that was required.
This facility and the Dr. knew they performed this procedure and it required post-op care. I tried for over three months to be seen and was denied care, instead false statements were put in my file. They are negligent of Patient Abandonment, Delay in Treatment and a Duty of Care to their patient.
To date, I have heard from the Corporate Office and the person I was dealing with agreed with the negligence that took place. Their medical director had no comment.
They were paid a lot of money for this procedure and it requires six appointments after surgery. I received two.
To this day the area around my ears and cheekbones are numb, the feeling will probably never come back. The incisions behind my ears become raw and irritated all the time. It doesn't look any different other than the scars I now have.
This facility is under investigation from the Osteopathic Medical Board of California.

Thanks you for your comment but it's been a year now and I don't think the feeling around the ears and upper cheek area will ever come back. There were things I could have done to heal better had I received the post op care I needed. I am consulting an attorney and will continue to.

The Santa Ana Office is the closest location and this facility borders Irvine. As far as not looking any different, I don't the people you see on TV can be made up to look like a movie star with all the tricks of that trade. If your considering having this done it's not worth it! You are completely awake during the entire procedure. It is not an hour procedure I was laying there almost two hours. You have a ton of shots in your face (nerve block) which are quite painful and a few valium throughout the procedure. Thats it! You can hear them cutting your skin and smell the flesh burning...they don't tell you that. I was so swollen, my entire face for weeks and so miserable and that facility offered no help and once they were paid I guess their job was done. I will continue to persue this because they are guilty of negligence and patient abandonment. There is a Duty of Care to a patient after any type of surgical procedure...elective or not. I would love to figure out a way to attach the voice recording so everyone can hear what was said to me and their own Corporate Office.

It looks like the Lifestyle Lift doctors are DOs and ENTs (and not one has impressive credentials), can they call themselves Plastic Surgeons? I have seen nothing but negative comments about Lifestyle Lift and it looks like the Florida Attorney General is now investigating them as well.

Lifestyle Lift Bad Surgery! False Advertising!

Sept. 2008. I had surgery, I still have numbness around my ncek and chin and they are still scarred. I still have soreness in my chin from that scar. It took me aproximately 3 months to recover from original bruising and swelling following surgery and It it still hurts . I watched a long presentation before my procedure and several times they quoted " Lifestyle Life lasts a lifetime" my problem with this, is that it has only been 2 and a half years since my surgery and the problem with the specific neck sagging they claim to specialize in, is back! How is that my lifetime? My daughter sat in on the presentation with me, we watched them state with several post surgery testomonials, that there was minimal to no scarring. However, this is not the true case. My scars are visible and uncomfortable. Even my daughter stated herself, during the presentation "Wow, Mom I know its expensive at $6000.00 dollars but its sounds great, if it lasts forever like they stated then you should do it! Well not including the travel costs I paid to go through this My daughter had to go with me becasue they said I could not take care of myself, Since the closest location to me was in seattle it was more expensive than I wanted, and 2 and a half years later, my daughter and I even noticed how the facelift procedure they promised did not hold true to their claims! Therefore, I would like anyone to contact me regarding a Class-Action Suit for at least what they financially cost me. It would not hurt however, for other surgeon's who perform this type of procedure to try to convince me that it will ever do any good! I would not go through this again, It was horrible! They only used a local antesthetic, and I felt and heard many parts of the entire surgery! I am traumatized because of this precedure! **I will upload pictures of proof soon***

It was a horrific experience. I had mine done in 09 to the tune of $5, 400. In less than year my sagging neck was back! They guaranteed if I was unhappy with the results they would be happy to redo it free of charge. No charge for the surgery but they said I had to pay for the room, $1, 800. There was no mention of that charge, verbally or in the contract. Bait and switch! If I got the redo done they would throw in a lip job, gee thanks. It took months to get over the surgery. I had an infection, stitches fell out and I have significant scares! I complained to the BBB, absolutely no response from the company. I would be happy to be part of a class action lawsuit.

I am sorry to here about your bad experience. If you look under plastic surgery -mid carolina surgery, that tells my horror story. I to am traumatized by my experience. I was awake through mine too. I am so traumatized that I can't sleep. If I do fall asleep it's because of pure mental exhaustion, I wake up with my heart pounding. I know its been awhile since your procedure, but do you have trouble sleeping and staying asleep?

Lifestyle Lift Kills people, Warning

I used to be manager in one of the california's lifestyle offices. I was a witness to how dangerous lifestyle lift practice was. They trick people into thinking they have a non invasive procedure. What poeple really get is a substandard face lift in a poorly controlled offices. Patients has a lot of pain during the lifestyle lift procedure. Infections were high due to non sterile operating rooms and instrument. A lot of patients did end up in emergency rooms. Many of the patients ended up with severe scarring due to poorly trained doctors. Non of their doctors are plastic surgeons. Save your life and money.

I saw the infomercial tonight and was so impressed UNTIL I read all the complaints. I've been reading all the complaints now for over an hour. I've decided NOT to have it done. I had a procedure done a couple of years ago at the Dallas office. DO NOT go there. I have talked to many people with bad experiences similar to mine. I still have numbness on the sides of my face and I also have a big lump on my neck on the right side. The office refuses to do anything about it saying that "they never told me that I would have a perfect outcome." Now I was told both by Dr. Stadefer and his nurse that I would have a perfect outcome and that they would fix everything! Of course, before they get your money, they are more than happy to tell you anything. Just try to get to talk to them after and it is a totally different story. Even when the doctor was doing my surgery, he was running late because he had to go to a family birthday celebration for his mother! Consequently, I think that I got the product of him being rushed and just wanting to get out of the office. Very, very unprofessional in my opinion. To this date, the doctor refuses to respond to me. I had originally tried to set up 3 followup appointments with him and all three times his assistant called and said that I had to reschedule because "the doctor was running late!" I do not live in Dallas and it takes me at least 3-4 hours to get there and one time I was actually driving down when I got the cancellation call. This company is in to make lots of money and they do not care if you have a bad result! AVOID at all costs. Use a reputable physican who you can trust.

I had a lifestyle lift in a California office and I'm overwhelmed with the recuperation process. I have a tightness that I can only call a "mild stranglation feeling". It feels like a rope is around my neck and my adamsapple is overly sensitive. this is the beginning of my third week. There is complete numbness along the entire 2" rim of my face. My incisions actually go up to my temple. Swelling is still present everywhere all though the brusing was minimal for me. I did this to jumb start a new additude to try to overcome a business loss and income loss. I needed to feel good and get going to fix things. This is an added stress beyond my wildest expectations. Perhaps 'shame on me' for being vain but shame on them for the lies and the criminal post operative support.

Lifestyle Lift bad company

I watched the infomercial, and was intrigued. I called for the free information packet, but was persuaded to come in for free consultation. I reluctantly set an appointment, and then googled Lifesytle Lift. Thank god for the internet and sites like these. I read all the terrible reviews, and called to cancel my appointment. I told them that I was cancelling because of the terrible reviews. They treid to talk me out of cancelling, but I was adamant. Best of luck to all the victems, and thanks for sharing.

I had this surgery done in November 2009 and have had a bad result. Filed a complaint with them only to be told that I had "obtained the best possible results from the Lifestyle Lprocedure. I had this procedure done in Dallas, TX and was convinced by the staff that I had the best possible doctor for this surgery ( John A. Standefer, Jr., M.D.). If this was the best possible doctor, I would hate to see what the others are like. My surgery was rushed as he kept telling the nurse that he was late for his "mother's birtday party." Then when I went back for my scheduled followup appontmnt, the doctor did not even have time to see me for 2 minutes as he was running late again. He only talked to me in the hallway! Then when I tried to schedule additional followup, each time my appointments were either cancelled or had to be reschuled as the doctor was running late again! I still have numbness on the sides of my face and behind my ears. I also have a big lump on my neck (paid extra for liposuction) and it feels like I have a rubber band around my neck. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I got a call from the doctor's scheduler wanting me to come in so that the doctor could schedule additional procedures. I basically told them that I did not want that doctor touching me and that I wanted to be refunded so that I could go and see a competent plastic surgeon. They told me that since I supposedly signed a form which outlined the "risks and uncertainties" that they would not refund any money. I can tell everyone this, I sigend no such form and I was assured by the doctor and staff that I would have a good outcome. I was reluctant to have to procedure done but they convinced me that I would have nothing to worry about and that they have not had any bad results with their patients. I intend to pursue this further and would invite others with bad results to do the same. This is a rip off and the medical community needs to know what is happening.

Lifestyle Lift Unauthorized Charges

Went for a "free" consultation to discuss the services provided. Also discussed fianancing options. After reading these reviews decided not to do it, but found out they had opened up an account for $2000 without my knowledge or consent! Had to file dispute with the finance company, and have made numerous calls to the corporate and local offices where I am told the manager /consultant are "in a meeting" This is FRAUD and I have filed additional complaints with the BBB and Dostrict Attorney's office while waiting for a "refund" for goods and services that I never signed up for.

Lifestyle Lift Don't believe the hype

Don't believe the hype. This firm markets to women who are starting to age promising a rejuvenation of your face. What it is: a marketing scam that will leave you scarred for life. This particular type of facelift is a cookie cutter, lower 1/3 of your face addressing drooping jowls and neck problems. Dr. Kent, the founder was recently fined $300, 000 dollars for cyber posting by the State of NY (employees posting good reviews and websites like they are customer, oh so happy customers) which is misleading and drives traffic to satellite offices all over the United States. Lifestyle Lift Don't waste your money

I have had a full face lift under general anesthesia. All I have is a tiny little scar underneath my chin. It lasted 10 yrs. & then I went for a 2nd one. It's been 5 yrs. & counting. If I want to look even more refreshed, I go to my dermatologist for some Radiesse injections & I look like a million bucks. I have a salon & 3 of my customers had the Lifestyle Lift. They looked okay for about 1 month, then their faces fell to what they were before. Yuck! The prices of a full face lift are going down. I can't believe a review of a patient that said she paid $6, 500 for a LifeStyle Lift. That's outrageous! It should be called a Lifestyle Fall, cause that's exactly what's going to happen to your face. I don't care how old you are. Save your money, find a good surgeon, I go by recommendation & get the real deal. You won't be sorry. Good Luck ladies (& gents).

PROCEDURE 07/2010 . Butchers and liars. My first consultation was changed shortly before the proceedure. I was told by the "sales person" I did not need a neck lift. Under two rounds of drugs, in the operating chair, Dr G, . of San Ramon, CA. began pumping on my upper neck (what changed?). I was under excruciating pain as Dr. G of San Ramon, CA. began stabbing needles in my face "to break down scar tissue"... I suffered intolerable pain, began to tear and was told "crying will do no good! OK, the needle is out so it is over." My pain or Dr. G's?! I am scarred and red my entire face and neck, I should have never gone to this 'meat market", SO RUN AWAY! I have been informed on the "follow up visit" my problems needed more surgery and the trouble, and "The problems" were there before the SURGERY, butchering. Dr. G. of San Ramon, CA. has left LifeStyle and now in San Jose, CA. BEWARE, Avoid this LifeStylrLift!l

Lifestyle Lift terrible surgery and pain

We all know that plastic surgery is elective sugery and doesn't warrant much sympathy when things go wrong.cause of my job needing to be younger looking, so I could compete with the younger people, I need work too, staying young and fit gets the job. I decided to go to lifestyle Lift. The commercial on TV made my decision much easier. No wait to heal, one hour sugery, amazing changes, and easy procedure compared to typical face lifts. Wrong! I never felt so much pain in all my life just as everyone says the needle they put in your face feels as though your being stung by several killer bees. Your feeling and hearing everything because they consider you cattle, roll them in roll them out but they make sure they get your money first. I took over a year to get over the horrible pain of this surgery and to this day I'm still infected. I have developed as many other women have bumps and cysts under my skin. I have taken many antibotics only to remain infected. I returned to have a second surgery on the infected area only to go home develop a pus sac on the lobe of my ear. I'm actually worse. I'm frightened becasue my only alterative is with these people. They don't give a damn about you after they recieve your money and I actually paid more for more procedures and I look as old as I did before the surgery. Absolutely no results! I'm scared that I'm not going to beable to fight this infection much longer as the antibotics are taking there tole on me. I recently told Lifestyle lift goodbye and have decided to go to my local surgeon with no complaints. He isn't sure he will beable to help me either. Please listen when we tell you to run from this procedure. I don't have any extra money fro another operation. That's no concern of there's. I could go on and on about this place of hell becasue so much has happened. It was the worst experience in my life God help me I'm tired of hurting.

20 Years Ago I had Breast Cancer. I opted To Have A Tram Flap ( Muscle & Fat Taken From From My Stomach, And Breasts Were Made From This) .To make My Nipples They Took Skin From My Navel . Then They Had To Do A Tummy Tuck To Get Rid Of The Excess Skin. A Renound Plastic Surgeon in Atlanta did this, He Said In 3 Weeks You Can Drive, Go Back To Work In 6 Weeks. The Complete Healing Process Took About 1 1/2 years With No Complications. On My Left Side At The Incision is A lump. Has Never Given Me Any Trouble. Scar line has lumps & bumps, But they go away In 2010 I Had Mini Dentals Implants. Ad Said You Can Go Out To Dinner Same Day You Have Procedure. It Was 2 Weeks Before I Went Out To Eat. All Surgery Has Risk You Have To Live With. The Breast & Tummy Tuck Was as VERRY VERRY VERRY PAINFULL. BUT I WOULD DO IT OVER AGAIN. I Have An Appointment With Life Style Lift This Month. I Don't Expect Mircles & I Expect Pain. and a Few Weeks of Healing

Lifestyle Lift not as advertised, poor results, lasting scars and pain

The 'Manager" told my husband and me that we were both perfect candidates for lifestyle lift. She told us it would take about one hour and we would be out and about and back to normal activities the next day. She said there would be a small incision in front of the ear that would be hidden. She used her fingers to pull back our face and neck area to show us the results we could expect.
They also try to sell you many 'optional' procedures at this point (eye work, etc).
We both did opt for the optional liposuction of the jawline to maxmimize the benefits of the procedure.
I had my procedure first and my husband's was scheduled for a week later.
The procedure was horrific and scary.
The sights, (huge needles, the fat being lipoed from the neck passing right in front of your eyes),
The smells, (burning flesh and blood from cauterizations),
THE LACK OF PROMISED SEDATION, (given 1 small valium just minutes before they started the procedure, promised I could have more if needed, never given another one despite repeated requests during the 3 1/2 hour procedure)
The pain from numerous and repeated facial injections that were like burning stings around the face and ears (I lost count after 20 injections). The numerous injections also caused my hands and arms to tremble and shake, and my heart to start racing, which they said was "normal".
THIS WAS ONLY THE BEGINNING OF MY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
My 'less than 24 hour recovery', took weeks!
I was basically bed ridden for a week, with pain and swelling (I called each day, they said the swelling, heat and pain were 'normal', upon return for removal of stitches, they found I had developed a bad case of cellulitus!).
I couldn't go out in public for over 3 weeks, and then had to use a lot of 'camoflage' to hide the swelling and bruising that was still very apparent.
My final results:
BARELY NOTICEABLE 'IMPROVEMENT'
LOPSIDED EARS AND JAW LINE
SWOLLEN SCARS
LUMPY SCARS BEHIND MY EARS (STILL - 3 YEARS LATER)
SHOOTING PAINS AROUND MY EARS FOR OVER 2 YEARS
(painful to use a phone or headset)
NERVE DAMAGE

Their follow-up - GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!
It took over a year to get to see the actual Doctor again,
and he offered to 'FIX' it for me - at his private practice, for a
cost of over $9, 500.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!

BTW - after my fiasco - my husband canceled his procedure that was set for the next week (he was still taking care of me!).
He was denied a refund of his deposit - despite the manager's
assurance that he could have a refund at 'any time' if he changed his mind after my procedure.

Looking back, their operation reminds me of the snake pit of a time-share sales office.
Offers of discounts if you signed up right then and there, lots of smiling faces and promises, but once you give them your money, they don't want to hear from you again.
