Dear Sir,
I have surrendered my captioned policy number at Mayur Vihar branch before one month around 3 months before, but not getting any news on the refund.

I had personally visit the branch 3 times, but as per branch persons there are some mistake done by head office and cheque value is not coming in the system.

They had told me that they are following it up and shortly I will get the refund cheque.

I request you to kindly look up this matter.

Life Insurance Corporation of India [LIC] Wrong deduction of premium for rs.840 under the policy no. [protected]

I have deposited Rs. 840 only as lic premium due on january 2011 under the policy no.[protected] in the name of gautam adhikari, vide lic reciept no. 1493248, collection no. 10 dated 04/04/2011, but the same was also deducted from my S/B due in April, 2011.
I, therfore request you to refund Rs.840 only.

I am a policy holder of LIC Gaya, Branch no-2.I want to complain against this branch. No work is being done from about a week due to which we are facing a lot. This is not for the first time that these problems are being faced by the customers. As per my information this is because of improper functioning of generator. Please take appropriate actions in against of this branch.

I am a policy holder of LIC Gaya, Branch no-2.I want to complain against this branch. No work is being done from about a month due to which we are facing a lot. This is not for the first time that these problems are being faced by the customers. My Police is money back but now till not credit. after five year. Branch employ entry wrong A/C number and said me payment is credit Suspense in pnb. but i have Cheeked in branch pnb. Police no is [protected]

Post a Similar Complaint! i had taken a single premium policy in bima nivesh in june 2001, and invested rs 2, 83, 367/- after seeing the benefits. after i have invested the lic of india has dicontinued with the same. after 10 years ie the maturity period, lic of india has not paid the loyalty bonus, when i contacted the office at secunderabad, i was told that lic has not declared loyalty bonus for my policy. i have taken 3 policies with same amounts. I was loyal in maintaing my investment for 10 years with out discontinuation, so I deserve the loyalty bonus if not its blatant cheating by the lic corporation. please help me to get my loyalty bonus

Life Insurance Corporation of India [LIC] Non payment of surender value

Policy No. [protected], Dt. of Comm - 08.09.2006, Plan - 181-10 of Ranchi Br.2, LIC OF INDIA, Jamshedpur Division, East Central Zone, Patna. Rs. 1, 00, 000/- has been vanished by Ranchi Branch 2. When I applied for the policy's surrender at the concerned branch, i.e., Ranchi Br.2 on 29.12.2009, to my utter surprise, I was told by a note on my application that the policy is not FPCD ( FIRST PREMIUM CHEQUE DISHONOUR) so it can not be surrendered. There I have attached the photocopy of my bank passbook which makes it clear that the A/c payee cheque no. 114377 dated 08.09.2006 was cleared from my bank a/c no. [protected] of State Bank of India, A.G.Office complex, Ranchi on 11.09.2006 and Rs. 1, 00, 000/- has been taken out from my account.
I wrote to the concerned branch but of no reply.
I wrote to Sr.Divisional Manager, Jamshedpur Division, but again no reply.
I wrote to Chief Vigilnce Officer of Corporation, Mumbai, but again NO REPLY!

PLEASE HELP, PLEASE HELP, PLEASE HELP.

Regarding the same matter I personaly mate your branch manager on 20.10.2011 and he asked me to lodge a complain about the same accordingly I do the same on dated 11.11.2011 but no communication has been made from the said branch.Now please help me to gate me back the reassinged original policy bond.

Policy No. [protected] matured on 23/3/2011. I have been writing to the concened brach (Branch code.439) for issuing of necessary Maturity Voucher. But no reply from LIC since Januar2011. Paid premium for 25 years and now LIC has to pay back my money. But LIC seems not bothered about it.

Life Insurance Corporation of India [LIC] Refund of amount

Dear Sir:

I have opted and invested in LIC, Hyderabad through an agent named B. Bala Raju, Development Officer (Life Insurance Corporation of India, Res. H. No. 14-88, P&T Colony, Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad, 500060, Phone: [protected], Cell: [protected]) who has explained the policy details on behalf of LIC agent B. Vijaya Kumari.

Later on 31.03.2009 i have paid the term amount of Rs 3552/- having cheque numbered as "588860" from ICICI Bank.
After 3 months the agent has brought my policy receipt and there were discrepancies found in the receipt from the discussions which we had for the policy.
Hence i have requested the agent for the cancellation of the policy and refund the amount paid.
He told us that he has forwarded the cancellation of policy and refund of money to Mumbai head office 6 months back,
till date we have not received any communication in any form nor the amount.
But despite of our many request and calls the deposited amount is still not refunded by your company(LIC).
Also tried to reach him but he is merely giving me silly reasons and many times not lifting the call from me.
In this regard I wanted to submitted a complaint.

Please look into this matter and request you to resolve ASAP. I would be very thankful if you would help me in resolving.

Sub: Non-response from LIC about change of mode on their mistake

I am writing to you because of unpredictable attitude of the largest insurance company of India, LIC of India.
Sir, I had bought a policy for my minor daughter Nikita Shankerbhai Mange at Jamnagar, Gujarat on 31st March, 2017 bearing policy no. [protected] under a close-ended plan – wealth-plus no. [protected].
I had bought for the single premium of Rs. 40, 000 I had some extra money. But when I received the policy, I found it was annualized premium. I immediately drew the attention of office. But the officer turned the deaf ears. After even 6 months of time, no one is responding. This is a breach of contract.
I have given a written application to LIC. But as usual, they are not doing anything.
Shall I get justice from you or I have to approach the court? Please reply. I am applying to you because I had shown an advertisement in a news paper that people demanding justice for insurance matter may contact IRDA.

Re: Information required under RTI Act

I had submitted the payment of premium by cheque at Branch in Borivali No.902. By mistake I had written the date on cheque of 2017 instead of 2017. The cheques was returned inspite of availability of fund in my Bank account. Now LIC is telling me that I had made the mistake and there is no duty of LIC employee to check the details filled in the cheque. Further they are not ready to accept the cheques. They want only cash. I wanted to make payment by Bankers cheque which they are not ready to accept. Further staff at the branch is giving me threat and they told me to go and make complani anywhere I want to make. They are not afraid of it as it is not their duty to check the details in the cheque.

I wanted to know under RTI whether it is duty of staff accepting payment to verify the matter on cheques before sending it for realisation. Branch told me they are not suppose to check anything. Policy holder is only responsible for this.
Further I wanted to know if it is duty of staff to check the thing and if they have not checked then want is penalty for them. Because I have to make payment by Bankers cheques for which payment of banks charges i have to make and additional payment of another charges of Rs.135 is payable by me to LIC. I am really surprise to see the LIC website there is no system for the complain against the branch. Why this is so. They only wanted to receive the money but do no wanted to listen any complain to their customers against them or their staff.

I paid premium of My Policy No.=[protected]; Name of Policy Holder is Praveen Kumar; Service Branch = 314 (Faridabad) and Net Banking Transition No.=4509999 and Net Receipt No.= PR0450999900011011 through Net Banking of licindia.com (ICICI Bank) and i got the net receipt also for your reference i attached the net Receipt here. When i checked the Policy as well as Premium Calender it shows My Policy is due on 30/03/2017 but same i paid on 07/03/2017 through ICICI bank and amount is debited from my account ICICI bank.
please clear these Point why it is not shown paid in Premium Calender as well as in Policy?

Please refer to the aforesaid matter. I am having my policy at LIC Office, Cox Kutir, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. I further refer tomy e-mail dated 11 November, 2010 and herewith resubmit the details already submitted to you as under:-

I HAD VIDE MY LETTER DATED 02.06.2009, REQUESTED THE LIC Office, Jodhpur to note my present address of Plot No. 42, Sector-6, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur (Rajasthan) and sent me the option form. I had also written in my letter that I intend to apply for commutation as per applicable in the scheme i.e 25% or more.

Further, I had written letter to LIC Office, Jodhpur on 24.06.2009 and other six more letters written on various dates. My sixth reminder was only acknowledged by LIC vide their letter dated 26.07.2010, wherein they had explained that they have not received my option form prior to Jan.2010. surprisingly, the LIC Office was waiting for my option form, whereas they never sent me the captioned Option Form, to enable me to fill the same and return them. My all earlier letters including of six reminders, all contained the facts that I was interested in commutation and monthly pension amount.

I had also written letters to I.P.P. New Delhi in this regards, but regret to state that I never received any reply from them.

I personally visited Jodhpur LIC Office on 26.07.2010and explained my grievances to concerned staff members, who were looking after the seat of Mr.D.L. Dabla as Mr.Dabla was on leave on that day. The LIC, Jodhpur Office very greatfully wrote to me a letter on the same day i.e. 26.07.2010 and informed me that they have written letter to I.P.P. New Delhi for making payment at the earliest.

I had again explained my position vide my letters dated 07.08.2010 and 09.08.2010 written to LIC Jodhpur and copy duly endorsed to The R.M. I{{ Cell Connaught Circus, New Delhi.

I lastly submit as under:-
1. The LIC Office Jodhpur did not take proper action timely and never sent me the Option Form and more so ignored my letters, wherein, I had already stated that I was interested in :-
(i) Commutation
(ii) monthly pension.
2.The CAB Branch Jodhpur, ignored my letters/written request for commutation, and un-authorizingly sent commutation required as "NO" of their own, which is against the natural justice.
3.Till date, I have neither received the commutation amount nor the monthly pension amount cheques. Please arrange to send the same along-with the reasonable amount of interest for the delayed period.
4. Kindly let me have your address, where I can send the copies of my various letters and letters received from LIC Office, Jodhpur to enable you to understand the facts and sort out the actual mistake incurred at the level of LIC Office, Jodhpur.
Lastly, I submit that I received a telephonic call from Mr. D.L.Dabla, Staff, LIC, CAB BRANCH Jodhpur, around 24 November, 2010 advising me that the LIC Office is shortly sending me the Claim form and I had to put my sign over Revenue Stamp in lieu of receipt of the commutation amount to enable the LIC to dispatch me the cheque of commutation amount. I regret to note that after lapse of considerable time, I have till today not received the captioned claim form. The matter has already been over delayed and matter requires urgent and immediate response.
Further, in case your Office is not the concerned Office to hear my grievances, please let me have the e-mail address of the Office and designation of the person to whom I can approach for the justice. I hope, my complaint will now receive the right response at the earliest possible and preferably by return of e-mail from your good office. I hope your office will initiate the proper action at top priority avoiding any further complication in the matter and will not compel me to knock the door of other competent authority for sorting out my grievances.

I am son of Smt. Mangala Devi Shrestha (w/o Late Banwari Lal Shrestha) and my mother has not received her pension since March 2012 and we have had many correspondence in this regards with LIC, Muzzafarpur. Please let me advise what should I do now to get due pension on my mother behalf.

I would also like to inform you that my mother will be 80 yrs old next year and it would be very difficult for her to travel to India at this age. I would really appreciate, if you could advise me the best possible way for her to collect her pension as soon as possible. We have to find now some kind of solution together so that my mother can get her due pension from you.

I am very hopeful that you will send me your proper advise in this regards to solve this problem.

I received a call from LIC sales executive who offered me a savings/investment plan which I subscribed for. Agent visited my place, completed the form and collected the cheque for INR 12050. This was on or around 20th Aug'10. This cheque cleared my bank account on the 3rd Oct'10, however, i yet to receive policy details or any other paper work which was promised to me will reach within 2-3 weeks from the date agent visited my place. I called LIC customer service but no joy, everytime the call disconnects stating that call cannot be answered or all agents are busy. I wrote an email for the same to their complaints department, however, received no reply.

Dear Sir,
I am Ashok Kumar Srivastava. I am holding a policy No. [protected]. I had purchased the policy from LIC E-3, Sector-I, Noida in the month of Feb 2004. After the completion of four years policy was matured and as per the terms of policy the LIC has send a cheque amount to Rs.20, 000/- ( Rs. Twenty Thousand only ) at my old mailing address on 08.03.2008 but I have not received the cheque till date. Some one has picked up the registry from the postman. This man has same name, he cash the cheque in Gopalganj (Bihar).
I have written twenty registered letters and a lot of E-mails in this regards but I have not received any positive response from their side. I visited personally two times in LIC office and met The Branch Manager and Costumer Care Officer Mr. Jogendra Kaul & Mr. Oswal.
I would like to inform you that the LIC has neither reply my letters nor send the cheque Amount to Rs 20, 000/- ( Rs. Twenty Thousand only ) till adte.
I request you to kindly help me.

Dear Sir,

With due respect I want to inform you that I did a Market Plus-I certificate of Rs. 1, 00, 000/- on 27/05/10 from Mr. Mrinmoy Basu (LIC agent of Lake Town Branch) so far I won’t get any certificate from him and also Rs. 5000/-, which he supposed to give me back not yet handed over. He gave me one bank draft of Rs. 5000/- (Xerox copy attached) of Axis Bank not getting clearance as it differ the signature and having nil balance. Now he doesn’t want to return my money.

So far I won’t get my Fortune Plus certificate as well as Rs. 5000/-. The draft differ the signature and having nil balance, due to which I am facing tremendous problem. In this regard I had contact with Mr. Subendu Ghosh (Divisional Officer), he replied that he is also not able to contact with Mr. Mrinmoy Basu and also he said that he has does same problem with other customers also, who are used to made complain to him. Hence I beg you to arrange my certificate and my money from him.

Kindly do the needful.

Jeevan Suraksha -1(plan with profit),

I have paidup all premium stipulated in the plan.

It is a pension plan.

I have retired from the job. I need fund to fullfill the oblgations.

I applied to LIC requesting to give eligible procceds. My first request letter was misplaced by the employee. She told me to give new one, which i gave on 19/05/10 alongwith requred attachments.The concern officer normally remains on leave, their other colleaguges keep themselves busy discussing across the desk. My contact details are mentioned in my application.They have not extended curtesy to inform me.
I need fund urgently LIC does pay not payheed to my request.

As I understand LIC is cheating pension plan Policy holders. I am also holding a Jeevan Suraksha Policy which matured ( Vesting date ) on 22/12/2010 on my 55 Th Birth Day. Now LIC is saying that the vesting date should have been 08/02/2011. This is absurd as this is no way connected with my 55 Th birthday. However inspite of writing many e-mails and contacting them since the last one & half years, I am still to get the commutaion amount & the pension. I have written to the IRDA but not much has happened. LIC had sent a discharge form asking me to sign the same and surrender the original Policy.This amounts to signing an advance receipt, loosing the original policy and agreeing for the fraudulent vesting date. I am giving the e-mails of IRDA to which you may send your grievence.. I am also planning to sue
LIC by collecting all pensioners who have been cheated. Kindly write to me, if you would like to join hands in fighting this crime. I may be
contacted on my e-mail given at the end of this letter. If all of us join hands & sue LIC we may get our legitimate dues. Even if they pay
now, I am loosing at least Rs. 50000/= which is too precious for a pensioner. If you try to find the total amount involved & loss to
pensioners, this will be not less than 2G. Added to all these, the money was expected & required urgently .

Life Insurance Corporation of India [LIC] cheated by the lic agent mr. sanjay of vasant vihar, new delhi branch

Dear Manager Dt. 3rd April, 2010
Life Insurance Corporation of India New Delhi

We had been sold a Unit Linked Policy by your insurance advisor Mr. Sanjay Chaddha (Mobile No. [protected]), who sits in Unit 127 Development Office, Vasant Vihar Community Centre, New Delhi.

The annual premium was Rs 60, 000. We had given him a cheque (Cheque No. 534533, drawn on Axis Bank Limited) of Rs 60, 000 favoring LIC on 31st December, 2009, which was cleared on 4th January 2010.

We were not provided any receipt by Mr. Sanjay and after persistent follow-ups for the receipt and policy documents as was required by our tax consultant for investment declaration; our medical test was conducted by their team of doctors on 7th Feb’10 at our residence.
(The co-ordinator for medical test was Eliza M.# [protected], from Aakash Hospital, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi)

Our grievances are:

1. We had planned our investment much before the financial year end i.e., 31st March’10 and had also paid the first installment but were not issued any cover note or policy for more than three months after paying the said installment.
2. After several follow ups, we were told that the medical tests has to be done again and there was a blood test (Sugar, HIV and ECG) needs to be done. We gave the blood sample on 1st April’10 at Akaash Hospital, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi. On ECG test the co-ordinator Eliza told us that it was not required.
3. As we did not get any policy / cover note or receipt of payment we could not submit it in our company for income tax rebate which was a huge financial loss to us.
4. On doing further follow-ups, we were told by Mr. Sanjay that there would not be any loss because of not submitting our investment declaration (Tax loss of Rs. 12, 000 i.e. 20% of 60, 000) and he will co-ordinate with Income Tax department for our refund. It was this statement that alerted us as whatever little we understand, now when we have not produced any investment document and our tax has already been deducted, all we can do it is put it in IT Refund Claims.
5. The money (Rs 60, 000/-) was with LIC for three months and we suffered the interest had we invested this money in some term deposit. (Plus 12, 000 of tax loss)
6. Who would compensate us for the extra premium that we will now have to pay as we both have turned an year older in January.

We have great trust in LIC and hence we decided to invest in it but this entire episode has reflected the darker side of the working of LIC

We would appreciate if my installment along with interest be returned to me immediately. We would also like to have LIC’s response on the age factor because of which we will have to incur an extra premium payment year on year.

I had given you one letter on 9.3.10 regarding non receipt of 6 nos cheque. I have called over phone to your office several times for above matter. LIC office has informed that the matter will be decided and Fresh cheque will be sent after three months of issue date i.c. 15/01/10. Now 3 months have passed but I have not received any envelop with cheque till now. Please check my mentioned A/c no [protected] at SBI Tamluk then arrange to send all fresh cheque at the earliest. Since last 7 years there was no problem and I have received the cheque in time with register post. As per telephonic discussion with your office I came to know that this time the cheques have been sent without register post.

So please look into this matter and arrange to take further action in which I can get all cheque at the earliest.

I am a policy Holder of Policy No. [protected] in the name of Sanjiv Kumar Sinha since 15 Aug 2001 (Jivan Surabhi Money Back Policy). Till date I paid all premium @Rs. 2710/- as half yearly. I am working in Indian Air Force and this is a transferrable job within India. Now, with sorry, I inform your that theOriginal Policy documents which was issued to me in Siliguri (W.B) is now misplaced or not traceable due to shifting of my luggage from Siliguri (AF Stn Bagdogra) to Air Force Station Naliya (Gujrat). I searched every where but all in vain. I had approached to my agent Mr.Ramashis Choudhary ([protected]) at Bagdogra and he assured me to get issue of duplicate Policy documents but till date he did not favour to me and finally I am compelled to inform your office about the said incident. Kindly advise me on the subject issue and also intimate how and where I should get my duplicate policy documents, also keeping in view my location and present job situation.

my policy no. is [protected], which is a money back policy .till date i had not recieved any A/C payee cheque on maturation of 5 yrs surviving .through i had learnt that lici jalpaiguri had despatched my cheque on 08 june 2010, so kindly look at this matter

Life Insurance Corporation of India [LIC] Medical insurance claim rejected

I, Mr.Raj Iruthaya Ambrose had purchased a LIC`s Health Plus Plan with profits on 13/02/2008 covering my family i.e. wife, son and daughter.Premium was Rs15000 to be paid yearly through ecs from my bank account at PMC.First payment was made by cheque no.916002 for 15000.But in the month of march 2008 they (LIC) deducted Rs15000 through ecs this was brought to notice of LIC agent Mrs.Veena Sandip Gawli and asked her to inform the branch but again in the month of april 2008 Rs15000 was deducted this time i informed the branch, the call was attended by LIC, DO Mrs.Dani who assured me this wont happen again and she would refund the excess deducted after contacting her office at Hyderabad.After that i made it a point to keep below Rs15000 in my account.After repeated complaints no action by the Kalyn Branch 92D.My wife suddenly had severe stomachache she visited her family doctor in August2008, again the stomach pain reoccurred after 15days she was refered to a Gyno.She after doing all the test diagonised it as cyst in ovary it was the start, after a months medication she adviced her to get it operated to avoid further problems as pain was coming and going.She was operated in November for Hysterectomy on nov.8th 2008.I had informed the agent Mrs.Veena and also told her i would take legal action if i was not refunded the excess Rs30, 000 deducted from my account only after that they returned the money through cheque no 119550.My wife was discharged on Nov.15th2008. Itook all the necessary papers to the kalyan branch they said they did not have the claims form as this Health Plus Scheme was new and they awaiting for the forms from Hyderabad.So i gave the papers to the Agent Mrs.Gawli, i regurarly kept in touch with her.She got the forms in Dec 2008.After all the formalities were completed the form was submitted.In january 2009 i received a letter M/S Paramount the TPA for LIC that the claims request form was submitted late.When i informed the agent and the branch office about it, they said as the delay was from their side they would request the TPA to consider it.Till today i.e.january 2010 nothing has taken place. Now i want them to refund the intial amount paid by me i.e. Rs15000 to me as soon as possible.Also to take necessary action on the incompetent Agent and the Manager of Kalyan Branch 92D.My policy No.is924353854.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I (Dr. Brij Kishor Gupta) had purchased a LIC`s Health Plus Plan in the last October, 2009 with risk covering my family i.e. wife, son and daughter and premium was Rs. 20, 000/- yearly from LIC office, Gjaraula, Dist. J. P. Nagar (Uttar Pradesh) under Meerut Division (North-Central Zone). My policy number is [protected].

I have got premium receipt copy of Rs. 20, 000/- on dated 06/10/2009. But till date I have not received the bond. I told many time to my agent (Smt. Alka Verma, Code-0040325G) but she didn’t done anything. As per my opinion she is unable to help me and solve the problem. Also I have complained to LIC office, Gjaraula regarding bond. I become tired to follow the same.

So you are requested to do needful action against my problem and send bond on my following address as soon as possible.
