LG Electronics no delivery at the promised time

This complaint is regarding worst service ever provided by any store outlet in UAE.
I have purchased a LG front older washer on 03-Jan-15 ref. SI/02536/S01/150103/00025 from Safeer Mall Branch Sharjah .
I have been told that it will be delivered to me by Saturday i.e. 10-Jan-15. Since then me and my wife are chasing Sharaf DG Customer care number for almost 6times, but no reply till now. Whenever we are calling, we are receiving the same reply that it will be delivered by today or Delivery people will call us. I asked to customer centre give the Safeer mall phone no or branch manager no. They gave the no [protected] same time they are telling the phone will not pick up. They doesn't about the branch Incharge name also. I spoke to around five people Mohammed, Yasin"... All are sme.
The Safeer mall and my house distance is four kilometre maximum.
Three years back also same thing happened to me, I specially mentioned also still they are doing worst service.

I have complained regarding Trom Washing Machine WD 10165F Fully Front Loading, showing display some error, than service man come and replace some parts but did not found out the problem and did not solve the problem and did not send Knowledgeable technical person who can solve the problem

When we "on" the washing machine it starts but after 5-10 min it stops working and its door becomes locked. I dont know that there is problem in starting or something else. Please give ur answer as fast as possible.

LG company proudly boost that all customers will have their problem solved within a span of 24 hours, which is ###. I had lodged several complaints but its more than a week but no service has been provided.
Lg company should change their 24 hours crap.

We had the same problem with a different model. The service person had no idea what was wrong and wasn't even sure how to install a part he ordered. it was also the wrong part. LG doesn't care, either

LG Electronics broken defective oven

Dear Potential LG buyers,
Our LG oven broke after 4 years. It would not function whatsoever. We never even had a chance to do the self-cleaning cycle. A notification appear on the screen f-9 error code. We tried to get the oven repaired but the repair people who were sent to us by LG not only damaged our kitchen and oven but failed to repair this appliance on MULTIPLE occasions. We were told by the repair company that this specific oven model has a wiring problem which is why they need repairs so often. The wiring is too small for the amperage going through it. The oven requires completely new wiring and is a fire hazard. LG does not care about this problem nor are they trying to help. You can read online they're several bad reviews not only for LG but for their ovens in general. It would appear that they do not know how to make functioning ovens because most of them have the f-9 error code problem and require frequent repairs. I would highly recommend for anyone to purchase products from any other company besides LG because their customer service is very weak. They are rude, they will not let you speak to management or a human besides customer service reps and they have a bad habit of ignoring their customers.

LG Electronics delay in installation of lg tv

I have purchased an LG 42 inch LED TV( Model no 42LB5610) on 31 Dec 2014. It has been four days and innumerable phone calls to the LG customer care centre but, no one has till date visited my house to install the TV. Following requests/ complaints have already registered but no action has been taken till date.

LG Electronics washer dryer and dishwasher

LG, My dream then my nightmare! Should have known that a company previously named Gold Star was not up to par. I was so blinded by the salespersons glowing review of the LG front loader and dryer that we bought the pair and pedestals to the tune of about $2500. Then the washer required numerous repairs. Not to mention that it shook the house so hard that we thought it was an earthquake. Fortunately we had the lemon guarantee by Best Buy. Unfortunately they no longer carried the platinum color or the washer model . So either I lived with a mismatched pair or I bought a new dryer and pedestals. I chose the latter still believing that LG was the best. Another mistake! The dryer never dried the clothes as well as the first dryer. So much for energy efficiency. But dumb me I still believed and went out and bought a LG dishwasher too! It failed in the first year and continues to have problems. (I will speak on customer service later!) It has ruined my wood floors twice.
Back to my current washer / dryer. Now five years old and the washer stopped working. Just stopped filling. Called numerous repair companies and out of 5 only one would even come look at it. Why? "Can't get parts" was the common theme. Hmmm. finally did get someone to come out after 10 days of waiting on parts only to discover that what we thought was a simple fix at $100 to find out that the mother board was fubar and the pump was probably on it's last legs as well. Current cost to repair: $650 and that does not include the new pump. You do the math! Not gonna fix this POC.
We repaired the dishwasher ourselves. Contacted LG about getting the parts and complained about it ruining our floor for the second time. They didn't want to address the repair to the DW but for reasons unknown agreed to look into our ruined floor! What? They did not do that the first time. But here is the catch. After weeks and weeks of LG requesting different verifications: Pictures of broken part, then requesting we send them the broken drain hose at our cost, they also wanted three cost estimates to repair the section of the floor. Then they wanted pictures of the floor. No reputable floor company will attempt to match and repair a 30 sq ft section of floor that is part of a 1100 sq ft wood floor. The last time we paid to have the floor completely redone on our nickel. Finally after being put through the wringer by LG I gave up and told them that they finally wore me down.
I want to say that in the early years of owning these appliances I TALKED to a real person in customer service about the issues and they did bend over backwards even to the point of fixing the DW even after it was out of warranty.(2 months). At that time the repairman did the re install of the DW in "European fashion" i.e. unattached to our granite counter tops. we believe this constant movement caused the leakage issue of the hose and also that the hose was a design/ engineering flaw. ( The new hose had a vent tube that the one we had did not and was connected differently.
So what to do, what to do? Went to an major box store and guess what ? They recommended the LG ! ACK! Ran as fast as we could away from this place.
Finally ended up at Lowe's of all places and found a guy named Troy who has worked in appliances there for many years. He dealt with us honestly ! LG has not really had any major design changes since it got into the front loader business. Also talked with several repairmen for recommendations. Top recommends: Whirlpool, Samsung and Miele.
I won't reveal which one I chose, but I will give you advice !
If you are thinking about LG think about this. In less than 8 years I have spent over $7000 dollars for poorly designed, poorly supported LG products. Run, run as fast as you can away from LG and anyone who tells you they are the best. Those people are being paid to tell you that!

Agree - dealing with a Dryer issue now after only 3 months. I "thought" LG was a strong brand that would prove reliable...WRONG. Stay away from LG appliances folks.

LG Electronics Price markup

We went to RC Willey's to purchase a fridge in early November and talked to a sales person about the lg we wanted. We got a price for the 33 cubic feet lg which was 2799.00. We took the info she wrote on the back of her business card, measurements, price, etc. We went home checked to make sure it would fit, everything looked good so we decided to purchase the lg fridge. We saw an ad stating a 10 percent discount on black friday, so we decided we would go on that day and take advantage of the sale. We went to the same sales person and told her what we wanted and she said let's write it up. When she brought up the price the screen it showed 3299.00, and with the discount of 10 percent it was still more than the price before the sale. I then said to her what do you guys do, mark them up before the sale just to mark them down? She said yes, as a matter of fact we do! We had to haggle with her and her manager just to get back to the original price of 2799.00. I used to like RC Willeys, I have spent over 20, 000.00 with them over the past two years but I dont think I will just walk in and make anymore purchases from them in the future, I will make sure and look around before I buy, they have treated a good customer very poorly, and I will make sure to tell everyone how they operate.

LG Electronics delay in resolving the complaint pertaining to ac compressor

We purchased Split AC (Model no.LSA6ZR2M) One & half year back in Chennai. We started facing problem at the end of Oct'14 as Power was getting shut down once we switch on our 2 ton AC . As a result, we have registered our complaint at Customer Care Service Centre. After that 4 engineers came in span of one month from the company and finally identified the problem of compressor and took the same with assurance of replacing the compressor within a week as it was in 5 yrs warranty period. However when we again approached customer care once no one turned up after week with new compressor, they assured us to get it done by next day. Since then we are waiting for the status of our compressor and response from LG Electronics, Adampakkam Branch, Chennai. We have tried to reach the LG representative several times, he has stopped picking up our calls. Its' more than a month and yet the problem has not resolved. Its' really disappointing to see such unprofessional approach from such reputed brand. We have almost all the electronic products of LG and this incident has really put an question mark on our choice. Pls help us.

LG Electronics avoiding demo as per customer feedback form

I purchased LG's 32 inch TV model LB 5820 Sr. No.410 PLTV 070145 from LG's shoppee(Modern Sales, Rajapeth Amravati) on 31/10/2014. Their technicians installed the TV after 2-3 days in the night hours in hurry, and without Demo. One of the two technicians came after 2-3 Days but could not arrange the demo, particularly for LAN and Time Machine. He said that he will come back next day with their company's Modem as my Modem may have some defect (even though my NET surfing was going on with the same Modem). Since then I am constantly following LG through their call center . Interestingly, their call center has closed one of my complaints with the remarks something like “customer himself will solve the complaint". I also sent SMS and reminder to area Service Manager Mr Shekhar but in vain. Nobody shown up from LG for Demo till 24/11/14.Every-time their call center replies that they are forwarding my complaint and I will get the reply within 24 hours. Their local service center called me 3-4 times in the mean time and asked me every time w heather I registered any complaint. When I replied as yes, they said that they will send their technician "today". But their "today " has not come till today. Most irritating thing is that had to I waste my 3-4 days at home waiting for their technician to come as if they are "V VIP" and I am a trivial, worthless customer. This is nothing but grimacing with the customer. It is poor state of affair for an international giant like LG that they failed to arrange a simple (requiring only technician) demo even after 25 days. Will LG take serious note of this to punish the defaulter ( service center) severally and treat the customers with respect?

LG Electronics washing machine

We had purchased a lg washing machine from Best Buy less than a year ago and have had constant problems with it since. Soon after we installed it in our new house we had it leak water throughout the night from the front of the washing machine. After contacting lg about it they did a test on it (over the phone, as it was a smart washing) and said it was ok to use. Against the better judgement of my wife she went ahead and used it and the same thing happened again, but this time worse. The water created about $8600.00 in damages and we had mould starting to appear on our walls. Fortunately we had our own house insurance which covered out expense, and we had to pay a small $250.00 deductible. After explaining the situation to lg, they asked us to send them a damage report and all the information which we did, they refused to replace the washing machine and instead sent a technician out to fix it, who came out four separate times to fix it. He said that there was a fault with the machine and we were afraid that it would happen again. lg also told us that because the washing machine was a display model that we purchased it was not under warranty. When I called through customer service to ask them if I purchased a display model from Best Buy would it be covered by warranty they said yes ( a direct contradiction to what was told.) I asked them for a transcript to verify that which they sent. After 4 attempts to fix the problem they still wouldn't change the machine or give us our money back, and we ended up having to pay out of our pocket for the technician to come out. To this day we still have a faulty washing machine. After calling them several times to try and get my deductible back from lg's own insurance company they kept telling me that they would call me in two days, and never did. This happened three separate occasions and it has been about 6 months since the accident happened, and they have been in possession of all the documentation for around 3-4 months and have done nothing about it. We are very disappointed in their service and do not expect them to do anything about our situation. This is the first time I've complained online to any company, but I feel that other consumers need to know.

Mr. Narayan had complained and taken the washing machine for repairing it at the Goa LG service centre soon after 2 months he expired and the Service technicians say drum was broken after it came back from Delhi (their H.O) they say the knob spring is broken and even the gasket is given way so total I am his daughter after using this machine for 5 years we will have to spend approx. Rs.4000 which will take another week or so to get repaired.

LG Electronics refrigerator warranty

It has now been more than a month (original service call was made on October 16, 2014) since our 1 year old refrigerator failed, and still there is no end in sight. LG has refused to accept the fact that they made a poor product, and has now had two service companies tell us the exact same thing. The parts are still under warranty, I had no issues paying for the first service company to fix the unit. After making the repairs and the unit still did not work, they requested LG replace the unit because the leak is between the walls. This is not what LG wanted to hear, so they engaged a second service company who came to the house, and told us they need to replace all of the same parts that were originally replaced. We are still waiting for the second service company to finish there work. Every time I talk with LG they act like this is my fault, and have done nothing to help get the issue resolved. It is my assumption that LG has no intention of getting involved, and will do whatever it takes to make this as painful as possible. To LG I am just a cost of doing business. We have all LG products in our house, and will begin phasing them out as soon as possible. I hope I can help 1 person not make the same mistake as I have made. With the quality of products these days, the warranty policy is critical to customer service. LG has completely missed this mark. I get my mobile phone at your company in 2013/07/07. Just my warranty period is over. But it's not working 2014/07/25, then I went your lg service center. He said mother board failure. But I ask in your company, why you are produce broken mobile phones with in one year?... Please send letter because why.?

LG Electronics black screen after only 1 1/2 years!

I purchased an LG tv from Big Sandy. I did not buy an extended warranty, because I have never had problems. In just 1 1/2 years of use to TV screen made a popping noise and it went totally black.(not weather related) I called Big Sandy(they don't service TVs they sell. I finally got an appointment with Sears. 1 month later the TV was checked out at the cost of $99. When checked out, the serviceman told me a major board was shot! He quoted a price of over $2, 000 for the repair part alone!

LG, I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM YOU AGAIN! YOU TVs ARE VERY POORLY DESIGNED. The serviceman told me he had run into the same situation for LG TVs! Shame on you! Signed: single 60 year old lady.

LG Electronics 7kg washing machine model wf-t8014hs panel board replacement

Subject: 7Kg Washing Machine Model WF-T8014HS Panel board replacement

Dear Sir

We have an LG washing machine as mentioned in subject. Machine is in very good condition. It had stopped working few days before.

When we contacted call center they were nice enough to send a service engineer through local dealer.

However the service engineer informed that the control panel board of the machine is damaged. He also said that this panel board is not available now and the machine can not be repaired.

It is highly shocking and surprise that the spare panel board is not available? We can not afford to throw this machine and spent further to buy another machine.

So please look into the matter and provide to replace the panel board ASAP as it is causing lot of inconvenience.

LG Electronics non delivery of cancellation of fridge

One of the worst online marts in terms of delivery, tracking orders. Definitely worse than other sites which I have used and till date never experienced something like this. My order for a fridge order number [protected] was placed on 6th Oct for close to Rs 60, 000 which was to be delivered by 14th. Today is 20th Oct and it is not delivered. They seem to be totally unorganized to handle their work. There is a wrong tracking number that they are quoting always. They do not know where is the fridge. Their call center guys have no clue and they are telling that I can not cancel or get my money back till fridge is returned back to them by courier company. I find it difficult to think why anyone should risk a high value purchase with snapdeal if they are this unorganized. Call center folks do not provide any management contacts. I am at my wits end to get any status from those guys or a management contact. I have no option left but to go legal with these guys.

Thinking that LG is a good brand I purchased an LG Fridge, TV, washing machine and 2 1 ton ACs. I am deeply regretting my decision due to the pathetic service provided. Mr Gajanan at vashi who is responsible refuses to respond to my calls for the last 3 week.

Whenever I mange to get him. He promises to call back and never calls back. I am desperate and thinking to go to the consumer court.

Got the LG Ffx25960ST in February 08, it makes about 6 ice cubes a day then stopped. I have had 3 service replacements and still no ice. In LA they have a lemon law that applies to consumer products does any one know if there is a class action suit against LG for selling a defective product?

LG Electronics lg 3d led tv 6130 display problem

I purchased a LG 3d led tv 6130 from lg best shop velachery on 28th of March 2014. Ever since I bought this tv, it had a display problem on 3d projected images. There is a doubleness in the image or in technical terms called as the crosstalk as I am not happy with images produced from it. I raised the concern to lg customer care on 21st April (RNA140421086715) and from that date till now 3 customer care executives have come to solve the issue which was of no use. The last person who came claimed as the senior executive (Vishnu [protected]) said that the model 6130 itself has 3d display issue when playing from USB. It can display clear 3d content only from blueray player. He claimed that it is a 100 Hz tv and only a tv that has more Mci like 240 or 400 hz can display clear 3d content. But if I had known it earlier I wouldn't have gone for this model and I would have gone for the next version.
I would want you to refund for the tv so that I could buy a better model from lg.

LG Electronics customer service and poorly made product, horrible company

I purchased my LG BP330 bluray player approx 5 months ago. I bought it because it had everything I was wanting in 1 player. I primarily use it for netflix and within the first month I was having issues. As it was trying to load a show or movie it would kick me out of netflix to the main LG screen which now has no graphics just a black screen and a list of options. I would turn the player off then back on again go to netflix and have to sign back in. This would happen every couple days. Then I would try and load a movie or show and it would tell me to try again later and every title would give me the same message. At first I thought it was just netflix but it was like that for 3 days. I did a search online and someone else was having the same issue with their lg player and said deactivating netflix on the player then signing in again seems to fix the problem. I tried it and it worked, temporarily. It started getting worse to the point it was daily or multiple times in a day and was getting incredibly frustrating. I sent a message to LG explaining what was going, and a tech replied saying to try doing an update and sent me a link with the update for the player, if I still had issues after that they said to call customer support. I tried the update and it made no difference. I called customer support and explained what was going on and the tech made me go through these ridiculous steps like resetting my router, then do a factory reset on the player, setting the internet back up on the player, deactivating netflix then signing into it... she gave me a case number and told me to call back if there are any more problems...all just seemed very pointless and it was. The next day it was doing everything all over again. I called back, this guy I was talking to made me go through HIS OWN process, claiming that this seems to solve the problem. None of which was all that different from the first set steps I did only he added a few other pointless ones. I told him I have done something similar, it seems to temporarily fix it and this problem keeps persisting and is getting worse. He then tells me that there is nothing LG can really do because it's not on their end, it's netflix. He had a bunch of customers call the night before and netflix was having issues. I then told him, I understand netflix has issues every now and then, I have had it installed on other devices and it's happened. But these issues are happening EVERY DAY! So, it's not netflix. He then tried to still point the finger at netflix, asked if there was anything else he could help me with and told me to have a good evening.
It is now at the point where I can maybe watch a single episode of anything on netflix and it's crashing, then when I try to load it back up it does it over and over and over and over again, half those times I'm having to sign back into netflix. I am spending more time TRYING to watch something than actually watching something. After all this and reading other peoples very similar experience dealing with LG and having a lot of problems, I will not be purchasing any other LG product. I would recommend to anyone looking to purchase that you consider a different brand. This is BS.

I am having the SAME issues with my LG BP330 blueray player! I like to put on a Netflix show while I eat dinner...that was the main reason for which I purchased the player. I wanted to watch Netflix on my TV screen instead of my little laptop screen. But by the time I get this stupid player to quit kicking me off and taking me back to the home screen with no graphics, and actually load my show, I'm finished eating! It started out only happening every once in a while. But now it's happening EVERY TIME! (Now that my warranty has expired!) I hadn't tried calling tech support yet. I started with a search online to see if I could fix it myself and this article popped up...along with a plethora of other bad reviews. I wouldn't be so mad if LG would just acknowledge the machine has a problem and address it but they don't. All their troubleshooting tips online are stupid fixes like unplugging and rebooting. That is OK to do every once in a while when there is a software overload or glitch. But this problem is chronic...like a virus! The Netflix on this player is unusable!

LG Electronics terrible products terrible customer service

After intense saving we purchased a 56 inch LG TV 8 months ago. After turning it on today we were greeted with a black screen. After contacting both the purchase store ( Currys with an equally terrible customer service) we contacted LG directly. Best case scenario they collect in 5 days and it could take 28 days to get back. They offer no refunds or exchange on what must obviously be a faulty product, they offer no replacement during repair period and they offer no guarantee around quality of repair. Basically if it goes again after repair then we have to go through same thing again, that is of course until after 12 months when there is nothing they can do. My experience of them leads me to believe they do patch up jobs with the intention of prolonging things until they no longer have to worry about you. This kind of service you might expect for an unknown brand or a cheap piece of equipment, but this is neither. Will never go near them again and urge everyone to do the same.

screen goes white after 45 minutes then comes back on next day. Never had a tv go bad after 1 year. They say sorry out of warranty. never ever buy a LG product unless you like getting screwed!

LG Electronics soundplate

Bought an lg lb6500 with the sound plate as a promo. Problem is the tv has corner leg stands. And does not sit on the sound plate. Now that no weight is applied to the top of the sound plate. It gives out muffled rattling sound from the top of the plate vibrating. Also was an open box product. The open box was not my decision. I was told they only had one left in Ontario and was open box. And that no more would be shipped to the local store. So not sure if it was damaged or faulty from the start. Started noticing the problem from day one. Noticed the rubber pads under the unit that 2 of the did not sit on my tv stand. Causing vibration to the bottom added felt pads the rubber ones. That helped for a week or so till the top of the plate started vibrating. Also seems from it being so light that it kind warped from not sure if its the heating and cooling of the unit. Causing the rubber pads to lose touch with my stand. Called LG to pretty much get blamed for the issue. Second issue with LG in the past 6 months.

SR. No.010NLLG005264 but they said if you have bill we can consider under warranty which is not missed so request to issue duplicate bill to Top Ten Electronics, Ghansoli, NaviMumbai from where we purchased this refrigerator but they have not able to provide me the same so I pass the request to company regarding duplicate bill but they also not able to track my transaction and not providing duplicate bill which is required to verify the warranty period. This process is going on for last 15 days.

LG Electronics junk

I bought a 50" tv about 3 years ago, and a week ago it stopped turning on it just makes a bunch of clicks and shuts off again ... I spent alot of money on It, and for it to last only 2 years that sucks . I took it to a electronic shop to see what was wrong they told me it was the main mother board, which would be about $600 to fix (they are now $450. New) . I have used LG faithfully for years now and I have never had a complaint . The picture was perfect, an my other LG products are great too but, after reading the complaints I'm skeptical ... I DON'T make alot of money to be buying a tv every 3 years, also It Is morally reprehensible to the environment to create products that need to be replaced every couple of years . Other people have suggested other brands that they have had for years... Sorry LG you lost another customer :(

I bought l. G led television and it had a problem with hdmi port and power supply near the end of warranty period. They sent a technician who convinced me that like computers the hdmi port in l. G always has a problem and he repaired the power supply problem hurriedly.
As i expected in few months the problem came again. Now they sent a technician who said he will charge for it which ended in argument. After calling many times they gave the service executive mr. Thiyagarajan’s mobile number ([protected]) . This person started shouting at me for posting the complaint at complaint board, consumer forum and sending the complaint to the higher official (Neeta linz) and started challenging me on this issue in a rude way.
Then they gave me the number of one mr. Prabakaran ([protected]) he again spoke as if i have to regret for buying l. G product.
Sir the problem is persisting since the period of warranty which was not properly attended.
I am sending this mail to all possible sources and also request you to escalate to higher officials of l. G (Because i couldn’t digest this injustice) . Now i am determined to face the challenge of this rude l. G people by seeking legal assistance against l. G that has made my life bad i am sorry worst. (As mr. Prabakaran said i am really regretting for buying l. G product. I don’t know how many of my brothers are sailing in the same boat)
I hope atleast one of all the l. G officials will be good enough to solve my issue.
