Legacy Visa Card review: Beware of this rip off! 6

The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

My husband is 62 years and thought he was asking for information on the legacy visa card.

Instead he received a card with 175.00usd of charges for. Checking is credit and annual fee, processing fee and service charges.

The credit line is 250.00usd and the fees were 175.00 usd. This is usury- fraud-senior abuse- and needs to be stopped.

I am contacting aarp and the senior centers in my area. I need help - thank you complaints board for this forum.

Please let the seniors and others know of this ripoff. My husband has been on the phone telling these scam artists that he does not want this card and they are rude and insulting and are trying to intimidate him.

I am fed up and will spend the 175.00 usd in trying to stop these thieves from preying on elderly and low income people.

I have never had a problem with my credit card. I received a $500.00 credit limit in June of 2017 and in November I received a credit line increase of $500.00 making my credit line $1K. Payments post with 24 to 48 hours. BOOM!

I am just starting with Legacy Visa so far I have no complaints. This is not my first credit card so I am familiar with fees and charges. Still undecided whether I am happy or unhappy. Rebuilding my credit and grateful I was given the opportunity to have another credit card

I don't know why people don't take justice in their hands. Those companies survive because they pay taxes to the government and government don't care about you. So the government is rip you off too. Don't let nobody rip you off. Get the address of their office and go there to show them respect. Get the address of R. and show him to not help delinquents. You are working and paying taxes. Make you own laws to get respect because in the court the don't respect you giving the reason to them.

If you wouild like to file a class action lawsuit againt this company, please contact me @ jade244994j@aol.com. Legacy phone calls fraudulent debit card charges, and over-priced rates for collect calls. Legacy (Scam).

I actually work for this company. They follow all the terms and conditions that were clearly explained in the application. If you do not want the card all you need to do is have him call and say he wants to close the account. If you didnt use the card you aren't responsible for any of the charges but if you did you will be responsible for the 175.00 in fees that the card starts out with.
As for payment holds, most companies put holds on the account to make sure the funds are in the account before the credit is release on the card. This is due to payments taking 10 to 15 days before coming back returned for insufficient funds. there for expect the hold or do a right time payment. I.E Western Union, Money Gram, Money Pak.
Next time besure to read the terms and agreements before signing up for a credit card.

I Agree 100% This company is a RIP OFF! ... Even when you send in your payment they put a hold on your account anf funds for 3 weeks so even though you made a payment to them they will not let you use the credit that they say you have !... Due to this happening now my Kids Christmas is Ruined! ... They said they received there payment and that it shows on there website but yet they said they need more verification that they received there payment! They said it was up to me to get a copy of the check that was sent to them and fax them the copies of both the front and the back of the check and once then received this they would release my credit funds that i have... Well needless to say now my kids wont have a Christmas because of this Shotty Company and i also called and canceled my account and reported them to the BBB !
