Had Lasik done with Lasik Plus and it was a disaster. The MD who performed the surgery injured my left eye in some kind of way. My left eye was still hurting weeks later because of that. Also after 4 years of the surgery my left eye was loosing vision also I have to mention that since day 1 after the procedure my left eye never achieve 20/20 or 20/40. I went back to have a revision and hoping for an enhancement because I paid $3, 200 for a surgery and a lifetime plan that covers free enhancements and they ignore me as a customer. They denied the differences in each eye and said it was ok.

Then I went to an optometrist and had an eye exam. And then after six more months I had another eye exam and I was right I needed correction in my left eye. I went back with the results and they told me ok the MD will call you within a week. And weeks passed by, they never called. Now I am going to an ophthalmologist to get another exam and then I am going back to fight them. If they deny my enhancement then they will have to talk to my lawyer. DO NOT GO TO LASIK PLUS !

Does anyone know the outcome of Dr Mitchell Jackson's suit against Lasik Plus?

An Illinois surgeon filed a lawsuit against LasikPlus of Wisconsin, contending he was fired because he refused to tell patients they were candidates for the eye procedure when they were not, according to the civil complaint filed in Waukesha County Circuit Court.

Mitchell A. Jackson worked as a surgeon for LasikPlus, 15455 W. Blue Mound Road in Brookfield, from July 2005 until he was fired in May, the lawsuit says.

In April, he was disciplined for not having an 80% surgery candidacy rate, meaning that 80% of the patients he saw should be advised they were candidates for surgery, the lawsuit says.

Jackson contends the company wanted him to engage in fraudulent conduct that included withholding information on the benefits and risks of medical treatments, negligently providing health care services, and omitting and adding information to the company's corporate records, the lawsuit says.

Jackson objected and subsequently was fired, the lawsuit says.

The company's chief financial officer, Mike Celebrezze, declined to comment on the lawsuit.

Jackson is asking for an undetermined monetary amount for his loss of wages, benefits, advancement opportunities, damage to his career and attorney fees, the suit says.

In my opinion the whole lasik and PrK industry has bad morals. I mean it seems that Lindstrom and Wang control the FDA so surgeons are allowed to blind people. Once they are blinded, Hagele and Co. harrasses and intimidates so less lawsuits and justice. His "better housekeeping" type seal is probably only a seal as to what evil surgeons pay him to intimidate people harmed by the surgery and to get new patients to be harmed by the surgery.

The above Utube video spooks me cause Hagele has a wife from Russia? And the named surgeon I believe is close to Hagele.

This is in response to "wyu." People come here to find helpful information. The video that you referenced can be viewed here: http://vimeo.com/3692911. You clearly knew the source of the video as you quoted the list of doctors from that site. For anyone wishing to watch the video, as I did, you will see that the doctors are not laughing at their patients. It is a two minute long rather foolish video spoofing The Sopranos responding to a challenge by other doctors spoofing Seinfeld. Nothing in the video speaks about patients at all, only themselves and the Seinfeld team.

Dr. Ming Wang, MD is a surgeon in Nashville, not Memphis, at Wang Vision Institute: http://www.wangvisioninstitute.com/. He is not a current member of the FDA Ophthalmic Device Panel. He was a former consultant, however. He does not work for LasikPlus.

Glenn Hagele runs USAEyes: http://www.usaeyes.org/. His is an organization that I have read many differing opinions about. He is a frequent target of those who believe that LASIK surgery should no longer be performed. Putting aside any opinion of Glenn Hagele, USAEyes and the CRSQA, there is a useful tool available on their site called "50 Tough Questions for Your LASIK Doctor:" http://www.usaeyes.org/lasik/faq/lasik-tough-questions.htm. Glenn Hagele also does not work for or with LasikPlus. None of the surgeons listed on his website are LasikPlus surgeons. They all either own their own clinic or work for clinics that compete with LasikPlus. For all of the anti-LASIK crowd's vociferousness about Glenn Hagele and the surgeons who purchase his CRSQA certification, only 28 surgeons in the entire country are currently listed as having purchased his recommendation:
Robert Brems, MD
Sanford Moretsky, DO
James "Jay" McDonald, MD
Jay Bansal, MD
Swati Singh, MD
Daniel Beers, MD
Mark Volpicelli, MD
Gregory Stainer, MD, FACS
Robert Maloney, MD
Robert Lin, MD
Steven Stetson, MD
Scott Behler, MD
Raymond Gailitis, MD
Michael Mockovak, MD
Joseph King, MD
Kent Kirk, MD
Richard Foulkes, MD
Daniel Durrie, MD
Stephen Brint, MD
Robert Gladsden, MD
Cary M Silverman, MD
Daniel B Goldberg, MD
Thierry Hufnagel, MD
Marc Werner, MD
Benjamin Chang, MD
Philip Roholt, MD
James Loden, MD
Jack Holladay, MD, MSEE, FACS

I believe Ijust saw a movie on the internet of eye doctors of ASCRS laughing at harmed lasik patients. It was at their convention in san francisco in april of 2009

The Forme Fruste Cones
Parag A. Majmudar, MD, Captain
Carlos Buznego, MD
Jodi I. Luchs, MD
Shachar Tauber, MD
William B. Trattler, MD

and the audience was laughing too. And I have heard that a doctor named wang in memphis controls part of the FDA so that the FDA backs these terrible distructive surgeries on peoples eyes so that eyes doctors can become rich off of blinding people. And is there a guy named hagele in sacramento that uses muscle to intimidate damaged patients? Do any of these people work for lasikplus? is lasikplus in collusion with the fda to harm patients?
