I am absolutely furious to see that the new branded Lambert & Butler Lights/Gold Bright now have an extra long filter, taste different and cost more! Seriously, what is going on here? I have smoked these for many years and quite frankly I am now looking at changing to e-cigs. I have always been under the impression that when a product is being altered in some way then consumers need to be informed. I have not heard or read anything which refers to cigarette filters being increased in length. I am not impressed.

I was expecting the new design of the packs however, I was not expecting to find cigarettes considerably smaller! As if smokers don't already get penalized enough as it is. And before anyone says it, I know it's unhealthy! That does not justify making the cigarettes smaller and more expensive at the same time. Will have to find a different brank to smoke!

Disgusted to find that new plain-branded packs contain cigarettes that are significantly smaller than before due to a much larger filter, especially as this coincides with yet another price increase. They even seem to have a milder taste than before, but I guess this may be due to the filter.
I would like to know why the manufacturer thinks that such significant changes are justifiable. I am really disappointed and feel that we consumers are being ripped-off.

I am disgusted to find that the latest branding of the above cigarette, in black box, has significantly reduced in size!

The filter is a third larger than before and the cigarette is also thinner!

I have been smoking this cigarette for many years and feel totally cheated that this sizing has been secretly applied when the prices continue to grow!

I wont be buying anymore of this brand and will be pointing this sly, crafty change to the public in any way I can as soon as possible!

I would like to inform you that I have now had 3 packets of crushball in a row with at least 2 cigarettes that have no menthol ball in I bought them at Wrose Co op on Wrose road Shipley bd18 1hx I have had this problem a few times before but spaces apart and usually only 1 out if a pack it's getting a bit annoying now as don't like the taste of normal cigarettes I also feel they are not as strong a mint taste as they used to be.

Hi their myself and my partner smoke lambert butler smooth in the gold packs costing £9 sometimes more a pck we are not happy with these cigarettes as every time we light one up the ends keep dropping off or half the tobacco has fallen out, now for the price we pay for these tabs things like this shouldn't happen I have put burnt holes in a few garments because of this and we are not happy...

I bought a pack of 20 crushball yesterday evening. I had 6 left this morning. I proceeded to smoke one this afternoon whilst sorting photos on my phone however, after a few drags, the cigarette EXPLODED in my face with a HUGE SPARK and a ear piercing bang. My mother and I had ringing ears for 10 minutes afterwards. In fright i dropped my mobile phone and initially thought it was that which might have exploded as there was a strong smell of burning and fireworks. I checked my phone but it was in tact apart from now a cracked screen. On checking my cigarette, the end was blown apart. I then found a small white paper item which had also exploded on my living room floor which smelt strongly of fireworks.

This was extremely dangerous, not to mention stupid and I would like recompense for the distress and anxiety caused by this irresponsible prank which must have happened pre-packaging as I live alone and nobody had access to my cigarettes. I would also like to claim payment towards having my mobile phone screen replaced as this idiotic prank will now see me out of money and that is disgusting.

I regularly smoke these cigarettes, in fact these are the only cigarettes I smoke. I purchased a pack of 19 yesterday and then again another pack of 19 this morning. Since I started smoking this pack of cigarettes I've had the most horrendous headache. I know it's to do with the cigarettes as the headache cam on almost immediately after smoking the first one this morning. I am very disappointed in this as now feel like I can't continue to smoke this box. Every time I have been smoking them my headache has gotten worse and when I'd finished the headache would subside until I'd light up again.

i recently bought a packet of crushballs, the 5th cigarette from the box fell apart as i lit it, it seemed there was no glue holding the tobacco part to the filter, on examination one other cigarette in the packet had the same issue, is there a general problem with the glueing process or is this an isolated incident, sorry to moan but cigarettes are close to 50pence each these days, i have pictures for reference if needed ta

I am writing to you to complain about your lambert and butler blue smooth. These are the cigarettes myself and husband smoke. Between us we smoke 60 a day and the last month we have had an issue with the ends of the cigarette containing no tobacco. Cigarette habits are expensive enough without this issue I have decided to take a photo to send if needed as it is becoming a regular issue and I am not happy with the product.

Hi I bought a 20 pack of Lambert & and butler superkings real blue yesterday 25th November 2016 from my local Mccolls store in merthyr Road Whitchurch Cardiff. When I got home I smoked a cigarette and it was menthol. I I thought it may be a one off but the whole pack is menthol. The cigarettes have a brown butt but they are all menthol instead of normal. I'm not one to normally complain but I absolutely hate menthol they give me a headache and I'm really unhappy that the wrong cigarettes are in my packet. Money is tight so I can't afford to waste them. I wanted to make you aware as you may need to recall these cigarettes, I was wondering what you would be able to do to recompensate me for this mistake? I bought a 20 pkt of cigarettes and smoked 3 in a row and it would only light half a side it was like there was wood in the other side still got the rest of the packet it burnt a hole in my settee. Can you fatback to me asap before I take this further I am going to the local store in the morning to find out more. I have been smoking and buying cigarettes from yourself for years from all over the world for years and I feel let down thanks

Hello there. I have been a smoker of lambert and butler for 20+ years and have never smoked any other brand as I like to smoke this particular type. I have a complaint about a shop that is charging 50p on top of your rrp of £8.79p why is this as I am not happy as your price of £8.79p is enough to pay. Please advise. Is it a law that I am unaware of or is the shop taking money off me illegally.

I bought a packet of lambert and butler crushball (menthol) earlier today from Sainsbury's in meole brace, Shrewsbury, shropshire
This is the brand that I normally smoke and have no problems or issues.
However today when I tried opening the packet the lid was stuck solidly and I was unable to get in to the cigarettes to smoke them.
I bought these on my way to work (a night shift) and I work in the NHS so I was unable to leave the building to go and get some more so have worked a 12hour night shift needing a cigarette.
I don't live in Shrewsbury and would be too much of a divert on my way home this morning to take them back to the shop.
If at all possible I would like at least a refund, I didn't obtain a receipt as normally don't have any issues with cigarettes. Barcode5000431020788, codes on bottom of pack are :nmk nr6 qes 21a, , 6e146p71246.

I changed to Lambert and Butler Smooth Gold as they have lower, tar, nicotine and carbon monoxide levels. On the whole they are a jolly good smoke, but when you get towards the end of the cigarette the top lighted end falls off without warning. So far I have burned my couch twice, my foot, my slippers and my dressing gown. This is very dangerous as you do not realise that the top has fallen out until you smell burning. I have also burned my carpet and the dog's tail (luckily enough I actually saw that one, so no damage to the quadruped!) They must surely be able to address this in some way? There is no address or where made on packet although I believe it is under the Imperial Tobacco Group. They give a website - consumer.[protected]@uk.imptob.com, but when you go to that and fill in all your details when you try to get to the next page it just says Soap Client not substantiated and I have no idea what that means

My complaint is regarding Lambert and butler original, both my partner and I have smoked L&B for over 19 years and regardless of price increases and family and friends switching to other cheaper brands we have stayed loyal to L&B and never changed.
Over the last few months we have noticed the decline of quality, we have also tried EU Lambert and butler and they seem fine but the UK ones are a disgrace, they are often loose and tobacco falls out, and often they are very tight and can't get a puff.
The taste is getting unbearable leaving a horrible dry aftertaste, sometimes feels like throat is burning.
You have advertised on the box trusted and quality. I completely disagree the quality has massively declined and both my partner and I have lost trust in the brand which is a shame.
I find it shocking we are getting charged nearly 9 pound for them would expect to get lot better for the money
Would appreciate any feedback from you and will look forward to hearing from you

I have been smoking lambert and butler cigarettes for several years now i smoke 3-4 pkts a day but i bought them yesterday the 25th of june and they were the new design pkt but when i lit ne they did not taste the same i had my son to try one and he said the same they made my tongue tingle and was burning the back of my throat so i don't know what they have put in them but they are not the same and they were the only cigarettes i could smoke i had to go around a few shops to find the ones with the old design on so i could have my cigarettes for yesterday i have to do the same again today and go around a few shop until i find some if i can not find any i don't know what i am going to do as i can not smoke the new design one's or any other brand of cigarettes so please can you make some suggestions on what am able to do bout this

I have been smoking your Brand of cigarettes for many many years and I swapped to the blue when they started being produced and never had a problem with the price or the product.
I buy my cigarettes weekly and recently I have found that in the 4 packets I buy per week there have been at least 2 or 3 of the cigarettes in every pack that have not been to my satisfaction.
Twice the end of the cigarette has fallen off and nearly burnt my carpet, the cigarettes have been burning down very quickly and I do not feel that this is acceptable from a brand as big as yours.
I do not want to swap brands but I do feel that even though the lambert blue are great value for money I should not have to be wary when I smoke them.
I just wanted to make you aware of my concerns.

I purchased a sleeve of 200 L&B ### to find half the ### were not brand marked with the L&B ink mark just above the tips and a few had up to 3 on one ###..This is the first problem ive had with this company and i will be taking further action if nothing is done about it thanks for your time.
