DO NOT BUY MACHINES FROM KMBYC ! BEWARE! - Kunming BoYiChuang Science & Technology Development Co.,

On the 17 July 2013 we purchased a Flatbed printer from Jason at (KMBYC) which is short for, Kunming BoYiChuang Science & Technology Development Co., Ltd - from the day we received the printer we had endless problems with it, not only would it not print correctly but the UV light that was supplied with the unit, did not function correctly.

We were told by support that we needed to read the manual - this was a joke as the manual was not even written for that specific machine and also, the photos in the manual do not even match the actual machine that was supplied.

We had no luck from the so called support (Elizabeth) so We eventually decided to ask a local and qualified electrician to have a look at the machine, he simple laughed and said he has never ever seen such a badly made machine as the one supplied by KMBYC. He tried fixing it, without any luck. Once again, we complained!

After a lot of frustration and a lot of time wasted, we eventually got the UV light to work, then came the printing problems - the machine would not print correctly ! I think my dot matrix printer could probably print better than this machine ! After numerous cleans, flushing, test print after test print we have still not come right. On Friday the 15th I asked Elizabeth to please give us some sort of support as not only could we not get the printer to work but the machine now had an error, eventually I got a reply to show me how to clear the error, after I cleared the error the machine would still not print correctly - then came another error ! I am sooo frustrated but this morning (19 August 2014) I tried contacting both Jason and Elizabeth to ask them how the error could be cleared and what I need to do to move forward...NO REPLY, that all I got - Aboslutely nothing!

I am disgusted in the service they have to offer and in the quality of the product that they sell - I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THAT ANYONE BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. If proof is required, I can provide printed samples, emails etc...

I AM NOW REQUESTING A NEW MACHINE, THEY CAN COLLECT THIS MACHINE AND REPLACE IT WITH A NEW MACHINE WITH THE CONTINUED SUPPORT, I WILL NOT STOP THE COMPLAINTS UNTIL THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED.

I have an Epson Stylus 1390 Series UV printer I brought from KMBYC about 2 years or so ago.
I have had several issues with it and have never been able to fully resolve anything to get it running properly. I spend hours on the internet talking with Jerry, then after he left it was Paul. I've spent a small fortune replacing parts but never having a proper detailed manual to refer to has made it a nightmare to troubleshoot. I intended on using it for the business I had planned on starting; which has not eventuate to anything yet because of these issues.
I did notice you have updated your site? There is a lot mere information on it than there was before unless the details I had been given were different.
I don't want to spend any more time on Skype or the messenger app I downloaded with someone running through it with me; its a waste of time, as it got me no where and in a couple of instances made a problem worse.
I have had no end of trouble with a couple of staff who I'm assuming no longer work there not passing on my messages or passing on the wrong ones and causing more confusion, to the point where I gave up trying to get help all together.

I am pleading with you to please help me with the following;

I need to know how to get rid of the software I'm using. Could someone please send a link or the equivalent, with information on how to change the set up of the printer using a different software. Partner RIP is no good. Despite the amount of times I've added it to exclusions lists etc. Files still keeps getting deleted and I have to keep on asking for a new zip file to be sent. I can't even get it to connect to the pc at all now. The power comes on but when I hold the button for 3 seconds to start, nothing happens. I've reinstalled the drivers and software numerous times and still nothing changes.
I have a Surface Pro 3 with windows 8.1 but I also have a desktop pc with Windows 10 installed. I had to downgrade my operating system because I was told windows 7 was the only operating system it could be run with. I will install any operating system required, no dramas at all. Just badly need to know how to install new software. I also use PhotoShop CS6 if that means anything.
this is an email i sent recently; this is also 1 of many as I've had this machine for 2 years and never been able to use it. The UV cooling unit blew up the first week i had it. Everything so far I've had to buy myself to fix or replace. The only helpful person that i ever had dealing with with this company was Jerry, unfortunately he left. I can understand why if the staff are treated in any way like their customers.
As you can see I've attached images of the ink Carriage. Is there again a link or a video or step by step instructions to replace the carriage and whatever settings need to be altered afterwards?
When the carriage is meant to go back to home position, the print head doesn't make contact or seal at all with the capping station; so when I set it to clean the print head no ink is drawn out of the print head because there’s a 2mm approx. gap between the print head and the waste capping station.

I understand you are busy, I really do. But I would really appreciate your help in any way you possibly can so I'm not flushing $8000.00 down the drain.

Hello all the above,
I have become the victim of kmbyc uv printer manufacturer in China,
I did purchase byc168-2.3 UV printer but it doesn't worth a damn thing, it is annoying machine and very poorly designed, the white ink subsides fast if not used and white ink nozzle will be clogged completely, their support is f** up, they cant even speak any proper English, so anyone reading this comment please do not buy this crap, it seems it is cheap as I paid for mine 5000$ but like I said it is not worth it I have not even been able to print a good thing always issues with some ink or ink nozzle clogging everytime need to unclog.
I have regret buying from these people. Go for MIMAKI or any onther brand but kmbyc you will regret just like me.
I hope this will help anyone looking for a cheap uv flatbed printer.

I'm not sure if my comment got trough, so I'm writing another shorter one in witch I'll just get straight to the point. I'm living exact same problem with my kmbyc 168-2.3 Printer, except there where no UV lamp included with the machine, maybe there should have one, but we had never been informed, as for all the other maintenance procedure we should have know but learned those while asking for support cause the printer wasn't working. To make a quick story, the printer never worked since the first day we got it (2 years ago), and now, we can't get answer from KMBYC support anymore. I guess that's cause they don't think they'll be able to sell us more parts since I told them about my lack of confident in their product. I will try to contact the author of this complaint, maybe we can exchange valuable information, still, I agree 100% with all said here and I totally don't recommend this product to anybody, unless you want to print the most expensive shirt ever.
