I paid Kotz $627.00 for repair services on my central air condition. Shortly after, the system stopped working again. I called to have them come check system again which led to four more service visits until they finally figured out the real problem the condensor coil and service valve are bad. These parts have a warranty from the manufacturer which is Carrier so Kotz called me back with a qoute of $980.00 more to fix the unit. I explained to them that the first service call had cost me $627.00 for repairs which did not fix the problem and that the unit was never taken apart and properly inspected for other leaks. After a couple complaining phone calls they came and took there time and inspected the whole unit and found the other problems.Called and talked to the owner (Frank) about problem on 9-20-08 I reminded him that I was already out $627.00 from the first repair attempt and that it is not fair to charge me another $980.00 for thier service mistakes. He said he would review my file and get back with me on 9-22-08 and never did. I would also like to add that after some research I found that you can actually buy a brand NEW 2 1/2 ton air condensor unit for approx. $900.00
