Kmart Would not honor sale item

There were four or five signs along the rugs that said, Buy one, get one for 50% off. At the register, it didn't ring up, so I walked back with the lady and she brought one of the signs up and said that they were suppose to be, Buy one get one 50% off. But the other lady said no, it wouldn't be for those rugs. So, I just got one of them. They were $8.49.

Also, I had gotten a coupon for $10. off a $50. purchase for Kmart when you use your sears credit card a couple weeks ago in the mail. So, my husband and I had made sure we had the $50. worth of stuff and when we got up there, she said we couldn't use it. Because it had expired Nov. 30. But, I just got it a couple weeks ago, so she checked with someone and they wouldn't let us use it. We were very upset with this store and we never want to go back to it. They need to honor their sales they have and if they are going to send you a coupon, you need to have some time to use it.

Also, there is no feedback survey like the receipt says.

Kmart cannot access web site given on receipt

After my purchase on my receipt, is a survey with a chance to win $2,500.00 . You only have 7 days after purchase to enter. Cannot access web site given on receipt. I have tried for 7 days.

Send yourself an e-mail with www.kmartfeedback.com on it and you will be able to go in and do the survey. Works everytime for me.

I was visiting my daughter in Swansea, Illinois and hadn't been to a Kmart in a while, so I stopped in store #9331 in Fairview Heights, Illinois.
I purchased 2 twelve packs of Pepsi that was advertised in the Sunday paper for 4 for $10.00. The checker charged me 4 for $12.00. I mentioned that it was suppose to be 4 for $10.00, but she wouldn't let me have it for that.
Also, I picked out an Easter item for my granddaughter that was in a box that said 75% off. She charged me regular price, so I had her take it off my bill.
Kmart has a bad reputation for not charging the sale price. Prove me wrong.

I typed in my complaint of not being charged the sale price, and the clerk refused to put in the advertised sale price. I attempted to put in the receipt number, and it wouldn't allow me to add the receipt number on the survey. It also wouldn't allow me to add the state. Get on the ball KMart before the lose all your stores to your rude checkers.

How many of those saying they can't find the survey are using a search engine instead of just typing it in thier address bar as the receipt says to do? I called my local k-mart and the manager was very helpful in helping me get to the survey sight which took me about 8 minutes to fill out.

For all trying to access the KmartFeedBack.com site, this is not correct. I contacted customer service online and they sent me the following:
http://www.kmartfeedback.com. Was able to access the site immediately. And thanked me for contacting them about the problem. Just wanted to share with you all.

Kmart false advertisement

I went online to fill out the survey for the 2,500.00 dollar gift card and there is no such website . I think that is a crock of you know what to have people to go online for no reason and I think that Kmart needs to get this false advertisement off the receipts cause it's not fare to lie to your customers like that . Where is your integrity? How would you guys like it if all your employees lied to you about the things that went on in your store you would not like that so why lie to us ,we are the one's keeping you in business and this is the thanks we get from you a Big Fat Lie .

Kmart no site exists

Sales slip dated today 12/5/07 asks for feedback of my shopping experience with Kmart. After filling out the online survey, I "could win a $2,500 Kmart gift card." The e-address printed on the back of the receipt does not seem to exist. Tried kmartfeedback.com , tried www.kmartfeedback.com, tried http://kmartfeedback.com, all to no avail. I did have a few comments to make and would still like to make them.

I was at kmarts and the lines are always long .it only be like 2 lines open went the rest of the staff members are standing around doing nothing and why do the person at the door always ask to see your receipt like somebody is going to walk out with a baskets full of stuff or a shopping bag full of stuff .And why i cant find the survey site but other then that i dont have a problem with Kmarts receipt#[protected]

The store i shopped at a kmart in australia and i found that the severs and workers are very helpful and friendly towards the custimors . the brand and quality at kmart is excellent and the structure and setting of it all just makes finding things so easy! i myself always do my shopping here not at target, bigW, myer or other shops they would never have anything as good as your shop.i recently bought an itunes card and how long it took to get it ready was around 1 second. it is so good to come shopping here at kmart!

I frequently visit the K-Mart store in Tullahoma to check and see what they have, also to check on prices of various items. Generally I find the people working there are friendly and very helpful. The merchandise always seems to be of decent quality, and at a fair price.

Kmart personel relations

I've been buying, medicine, clothes and misc. Items for twenty years at this store. I know there needs to be change in products and new items. But since this store has changed around and added several new section to the store, it a mess. There are so many item I don't think anyone will ever use, or buy. I've tired several times to buy clothes, shoes, and personal items to ware, yes I know i'm a size 18 to 20, but what there a 65 yr old woman would be seen in - now my receipt from today dec 5, 2007, I can't registor to $2,500, it looks to me the right hand doesn't know what the left hand, is doing. Guess i'll start driving a little further to shop and go to wal-mart. Oh, tell your unservice people a little kinds goes along way.

Kmart completely ridiculous!

Okay, I check out complaintsboard frequently to be informed about scams and such going on... and I've been reading a TON of complaints about the Kmart feedback survey website not existing... people not being able to find it... Kmart scamming millions of customers... etc. So I got curious... I don't shop at Kmart, and I don't have a receipt, but I put the address www.kmartfeedback.com (or whatever it is) into my browser (you know, that bar at the top of this very window that says the address of the website you're on?) and POOF! magically I was there! It truly does exist!

Which leads me to believe that all the hundreds of complainers on here don't know basic internet fundamentals. If you are entering that website address into a search engine you are not going to find it. You need to enter the address into your BROWSER and you will go straight to it. I don't know how people get up every morning, drive in cars, make coffee, etc. but can't find a simple website.

Seriously! I promise you, this website exists. However, your basic computer knowledge is what's a sham. Stop freaking out about a company when it's your ignorance of how to use the internet that's lacking. Completely ridiculous!

Kmart fraudulent prices!

After more than a year of complaints and going to customer service desk for refunds , I decided to give up on shopping my local K-mart grocery store. The prices marked on the shelves are not always the prices that ring at the register. The Manager even told me that the Grocery Manager just cannot seem to get it right ! Incompetence that results in out right fraud should not be tolerated, but sad to say at K-mart this seems to be more the norm. I am reporting them to the BBB and the State Consumer Board.

Kmart 2,500 gift card

There is no such entry for the kmart 2,500 gift card. What a shame to mislead loyal customers like that. Kmart wonders why sales are slumping. Shame on them, very bad for business. I think they lost a customer. I rather like wal-mart the new up to date kmart!

My receipt # [protected] for any available gift card. I was in your Kmart store # 3415 on October 30th, 2012 at 8:37 pm. I was purchasing Halloween candy. The cashiers name is AALIYAH. She was very unprofessional with me. I ONLY requested I wished to pay for the items with my "shopyourway" rewards points. She told me " that I had to get in another line " to redeem my points for payment .She seemed to be so involved with her long weaved hair style. I understand store policies and did not want to be in the store for a long period of time for 2 items. So I elected to pay for the items in cash and I left the store. This employee makes it bad for other customers who enjoy shopping at your Kmart stores. She could have been a lot nicer but chose to be very rude. This cashier can MAKE or BRAKE a transaction and NEEDS to be RE-TRAINED.

Kmart rude, mispriced items!

I just got back from Kmart and James the cashier was very rude. While he was ringing up my purchase several thing rang up at different prices then what was on the shelf. When I informed him about it instead of calling to get the right price he just left me there and walked up to the service desk. I corrected him twice on prices and each time he walked away. The reason that Kmart is still open is because of it's customers, If they want to stay open then they need to start treating their customers better. I know it is more stressful during the holiday season but there is no reason to be so rude. 95% of the employees need to get some customer service training.

Or maybe 95% of the customers need to learn how to read a fricking add sign. I was in retail over 7 years and over half of the time it's a dopey customer looking for stuff on sale in either next weeks or last weeks add circular. Kmart does have serious issues about setting and pulling add on time and setting the sign in front of the correct item, but we can also help by reading the dates on the add signs, most signs have them on the bottom corner. If the add date is expired, pull the sign and present it to the checker, the checkers will appreciate it when they don't have to call for price checks every five minutes.

Kmart wrongful security measures

I have never been so outraged by the way no respect was a concern for an infant child...i witnessed a father a young baby being took to the back for shoplifting, after they had there pictures taken at the photo area with a dress for the little girl which was bought at kmart. after the pics the little girl still had the dress on and the grandmother hand the tags at the cash register and payed for the dress. the father and daughter walked out the store and security ripped the child from the fathers hands took them both to the back and held them there for hours...the baby was crying it was gettin past her feeding time. the mother asked to take the baby so she could feed her...they said "no". we dont here no baby crying. how could you not asked the mother. the security people also escorted a young black man out of the store for telling the security people to let the mother feed the baby.

What a joke... I have read a lot of these complaints.. but, I also have been trying to register for 2500.00... Well, at this point it doesn't surprise me.. either there is 8 people in line at a time... because they won't open up any more lines or waiting to find the site for the feedback... I think it is terrible..

I wish that the kmart stores would get more help, I enjoy going to kmart but a lot of time you can't find anyone to help you. I feel that if they would have more people to help the custmer then the busness would be better.

I shop in the Riverton Wyoming store and I would rather go there then walmart.

Kmart can't find where to fill out info!

My receipt states "kmart values your feedback", tell us about your experience & you could win $2,500 kmart gift card. Please visit our website within 7 days of purchase. I am unable to find where to fill out the survey. Is this just a scam to get our information on line? Anyway my receipt# [protected] is what you are asking for. Lets see what happens from here.

I WAS SHOPPING AT KMART SUPER CENTER ON 5007 VICTORY BLVD IN TABB,VA.23693. I WAS EXTREMELY UPSET BECAUSE I HAD BOUGHT 2 PAIRS OF DICKIES PANTS AND THERE WAS A SIGN THAT SAID 10% OFF. I THOUGHT THAT I WAS GETTING A DEAL AND TO MY DISMAY THE CASHIER WOULD NOT GIVE ME THE SALE PRICE. I KNOW IT WAS ONLY A FEW DOLLARS DIFFERENCE BUT IT WAS ON THE SIGN AND IT WAS NOT AN EXPIRED SIGN. I HAD CHECKED THE DATE OF THE SIGN AND IT WAS THE LAST DAY OF THE SALE. THE CASHIER WAS RUDE AND TRIED TO TELL ME THAT IT WAS NOT AN ACCURATE SIGN. I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO WAIT IN THE 15 PERSON LINE AT CUSTOMER SERVICE AS I HAD TO GO TO WORK. I HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. I USED TO WORK IN RETAIL AND WE WERE ALWAYS TAUGHT THAT IF THE SIGN IS UP YOU HAVE TO GIVE THE DISCOUNT. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN ONE THING IF THE SIGN WAS OUT OF DATE BUT IT WASN'T. THERE WERE SIGNS ALL OVER THE PLACE FOR SALES THAT WERE GOING ON. HOW IS IT THAT THE TWO THINGS I PURCHASED HAD A SIGN AND WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING ANYTHING UP OR ASKING ANYONE TO CHECK I WAS WRONG AND HAD TO PAY FULL PRICE. THAT IS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. On 9/13, I was in store #7235 Somerset, NJ. I had to go to the Customer Service desk & employee Sacha Lugo resolved my problem. She was very helpful, courteous & friendly and demostrated good customer service.

my children and I was at Kmart store 7024 and am not happy. The cashiers were not only rude but their conversation was inappropriate. One of them was on their cell phone. Must be nice to be paid to do nothing.

Kmart advertsed xmas decorations not put on shelves

After being open on thanksgiving, they still don't have their xmas lights and other decorations that are on sale out on the shelves! If it isn't bad enough that they let their greed take over and have employees work on a family holiday, but they still aren't ready with their sale merchandise!

The e-mail address that was given for a survey to win $2,500 leads you to this complaint site. Here I am to file the complaint. Not only is the e-mail wrong the people that work at the Lufkin store are Rude.

NOT A GOOD EXPERIANCE SHOPPING AT KMART. HAD TO WAIT 15 MINNNUTES IN LINE FOR A PRICE CHECK OF A CD . THEN KMART WOULDN'T ACCEPT $ 2.00 OFF COUPON OFF OF AUSSIE SHAMPOO WHEN IN FACT THEY HAD A DOUBLE COUPONS UP TO 2 DOLLARS . ALSO SCREEN WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO READ, CASHIER WAS RUDE AND MANAGER EVAN RUDER .I WILL NEVER SHOP AT KMART EVER AGAIN! ALSO WEBSITE FOR 2, 500 DOLLAR SURVEY DID NOT WORK WHAT A RIPE OFF !

I was at the Yuba City store Today and like so many others was prompted to go to this website to take a survey. Well no survey. So I will post my complaint. Normally I wouldn't go through the trouble but since I am here and ther is no survey to take here is my complaint. I had an item that apparently did not have the UPC code on it. The clerk called for help and of course nobody came. After about a 10 min wait I told her never mind just put it back. Her response to me was "Oh well its not my fault, too bad." I couldn't believe it. Well reading all the other complaints maybe I can.

K Mart at St. Clairsville, Ohio had only 1 register open, we stood in line 5 people deep. The price on a clearance item came up wrong. No manager or anyone for 10 minutes. Then, although she had radioed before starting to check us out that she needed change, no one came and again we had to wait. It was the most annoying experience. The Saturday after Thanksgiving. I will think twice before shopping there again. I bet in all, we waited 20minutes. So wrong to have to wait to purchase items. Not happy.

Kmart false advertising!

I just went to kmart on 12/26/07 and I saw the feedback .com,. when I entered the e mail address from my receipt it took me to this site and it was quite disturbing to see that this is a scam. I worked at kmart at this very store in the 70"s and I was quite disappointed to learn that this is a hoax. I live only three blocks from the store and shop there frequently. Could you please address this and let me know the outcome?

I am also disappointed in an order no# [protected] for an Optimus prime head mask that I placed o November 18th for my grandsons birthday Dec.20 and I still have not received it., I called the number on the order and I was told that my order was sent to the warehouse. I still have not received my purchase. I thought the one place I could trust was Kmart, but that is twice I have been letdown...

I tried to bring up the kmartfeedback.com on my computer to enter the "you could win" $2,500.00 Kmart gift card telling them about my experience with Kmart's, that was located at the bottom of my sales receipt, this is the 2nd time that I have tried to enter the same contest on a previous purchase and the site never comes up and they always say the site is down... this is very odd to me with it happening twice to me and if this is not a legit contest they need to take it off the bottom of the receipts that people get when purchasing at Kmart's.

This was a complete scam trying to get customers offering to get online to win a certificate and now it's saying there is no such thing, KMart has lost me as a customer for sure now! This is completely false advertisement on their part and I am very upset with them, and I had friends that almost purchased items and did the same thing to go inline to win this false gift certificate!

Retail Customer's feedback hot line does not exist, K-mart request comments regarding the customer's shopping experience at it's Glendive, Montana outlet. The experience is usually very bad to terrible, due to poor wages and K-mart's inability to properly train and or trust it's human clones aka robots.

After making a purchase at the Phoenixville, PA Kmart store, my receipt asked me to visit "kmartfeedback.com" to tell them about my shopping experience. It was my itention to do just that -- to compliment sales support personal and also to provide a suggestion to help improve their customer service desk function. What I discovered when visiting that website was a thinly-veiled attempt for someone working in their behalf to obtain my personal information, not provide feedback about my shopping visit at all. The last thing the majority of customers like myself want, or need, is to find themselves plagued by more solicitations via phone and e-mail. Shame on Kmart for this false advertising attempt.

Kmart misleading advertisement!

I noticed the ad for Kmart's jewelry sale, which states up to 70% off items. Unfortunately, when I arrived, they said that "incredible buys" were excluded. Well, that was fine. Then, I noticed a case that revolves around and displayed earrings in the locked case. I inquired about a pair. The associate said it would be around $15.00 (due to the red-tag sale). When she rang it up, it came to the original listed price. Then, she called in the jewelry supervisor who had absolutely no customer service at all. The supervisor then said that it was "regular price, meaning in the real world. Why would we sell real fine jewelry for $15.00?"

What irks me the most is that the red tag sale implies on all items (except for the "incredible buys). The jewelry supervisor stated that it was "70% off regular price." To me "regular price" insinuates the listed price on item, in this case $49.99. Thus, K-mart is misleading the consumer. They should say "ALREADY reduced 70% off." The former ("70% off regular price" implies that the reduction will still be applied when the item is ready to be checked out).

Site does not exist for enetering. The entire Kmart chain must be experiencing chaos & confusion. The store in this small town is in total chaos every time I shop there. No price is ever correct - you have to re-check every item to avoid being over-charged. The cashier actually told me when an item is on sale for 2 for $5.00, you must buy 2 or you can't get one for $2.50! Later that same day, I stopped in and purchased the item and it was marked $2.50! Ridiculous. This store is just waiting to close.

When I Shopped at Super K-Mart and got my receipt I was told to fill out a survey on line for a chance to win a $2,500 gift card for K-Mart. When I tried to do so, there was no survey to be found. This is false advertisement and a waste of my precious time. Jane Dutter

My mother ruthie l.johnson was an employee with you for a very long time. Last January she was diagnosed with stage 4 stomached cancer .Her hr person arrests did not let prudential know she was very sick. In June she had to drop down to part time because she was very sick.When she was full time she worked part time hours anyway.So in the middle of June her life insurance policy was cancelled because she was very ill. Then prudential sent her a letter about her life insurance policy and it stated she had 30 days to sign and return. First of all they cancelled in mid June. In July was was not in the right state of mind and things took a turn for the worst. We feel that it is wrong that we lose her life insurance policy because she was ill and we got no help with anything. We still owe on all the services from her death. My next thing I will be doing is the bbb to file a complaint. My moms name was Ruthie L. Johnson her social security number is [protected] my name is Robin Gardner my phone number is [protected] I would like something to be done so other family's don, t have to go through this.

Kmart online layaway is nothing but a joke! I'm a single mother who has trouble finding a sitter so what better way to do some Christmas shopping than doing it online. Make a few small payments and right before Santa comes go pick up his load. Sounds pretty easy right? WRONG! It starts off pretty easy fill your cart, it lets you know what items are available for layaway online. Next enter all of your information and make your initial down payment. A week or so later I go in to make a payment and it would not let me. There was nowhere on the website where I could make a payment. I called [protected] and the gentleman on the other end told me all online layaway costumers were having trouble making payments and all I needed to do is go to the store and make a payment. A little annoyed but the next day I was out so I made what was supposed to be a quick stop by Kmart to pay my balance and pick up my things since online payments were not being accepted. The associates at store 9161 in Berwick, PA I will say were very friendly and did all they could do to help me. They had trouble finding my information in the computer but did find a box of my merchandise in the back. After 30+ minutes of entering the information from the box into their system it came down to payments need to be made online...AAAHHHHH! So I had to leave the store without my daughters Christmas presents. A few days later when I had access to the internet I again call the 866 # and am told "we're sorry ma'am but we are online services only and unfortunately layaway only has an automated line, you'll have to go to the store and make your payment" Kmart does not have a real life person to speak to? Now I cannot pay anymore money, I cannot pick up my things, and I cannot get any money back!

I tried to find the kmartfeedback.com site to see if I could do the survey and be entered to win a 2, 500.00 gift card. It is hard to do if the sight is not found on the net. What a sham from such a company.I think that Sears needs to be notified of this now that they own it.

On or about 10:33 am, April 14, 2011, I was at KMART Hawthorne in California. I was about to pay for my purchases at the counter when the Lady Cashier (not sure if she is a Mexican or Latina or Hispanic) said that she has closed her register and directed me to another Cashier (where the line was long). As I was walking to the other opened register, I noticed two customers came to the same register where I left and the Lady Cashier entertained them considering that the customers where of the same race as the Lady Cashier. I was so shocked and made a complaint to the store manager, who was also of the same race. Both the Lady Cashier and Manager shrugged off their shoulders and laughed. I was so embarrassed and humiliated by this incident as this is an issue of RACISM. Now, I am calling your attention to this incident because I firmly believe that your rules and regulations should apply to ALL regardless of race, name, sex.

Please do something about this incident and I like to hear from you soon.

I placed an order online with KMart, and one of the products was from Sears. I paid via PayPal, and was billed for the total order (products from both KMart and Sears) with the payment being made to KMart, and was additionally billed for just the Sears item with that payment going to Sears. I immediately called KMart and customer service said that a refund would be forthcoming. No refund ever came, so I called again -- and was told that it is not normal business practice and she (Morgan) would ensure the refund. This was on 3/17/10. I never got the refund. I called again and was told that the request had inadvertantly been forwarded to a bad order file and that it would be resubmitted. It was never resubmitted. I called again and spoke with an online case worker, Josephine, who forwarded me to her manager, Danielle, and was told it would again be expedited and would be completed no later than 4/20/10. Today, 4/20/10, I called and there is no record of it. DO NOT USE THIS ONLINE SERVICE. The tell you what you want to hear in the hopes you will forget about it. I am furious and am contemplating legal action for no other reason than their representations are pure fraud.

Tracy was the rudest cashier I have ever encountered. She used profanities in fron of my son and [censor]ed and moaned about having to start checking when she wasn't ready. She made us wait 5 minutes while she argued with her manager John who didn't do anything about it.

My shoes rang up wrong and when I went to customer service and talked to John he proceeded to tell me I was wrong and didn't understand the sign. I told him his own employee told me the price and even went as far as telling me to stock up becuse there such a great deal. He didn't care he just told the employee, "watch what you say to "these" customers". He didn't even give me the price that the sign said or what the employee told the price was.

When I told John about Tracy swearing and waiting for so long and having to hear her gripe rigning up customers he said, "oh sorry about that".. Wow.. never had such horrible service..

My daughters and i were shopping at the store today, 07 / 03 / 09. They bought a bathing suit and tried on a pair of flip flops but put them back on the shelf.
When we got to the register the cashier asked where the ticket was for the shoes they switched out. First of all, they put the shoes back on the shelf, secondly security needs to get their eyes checked. We were publicly humiliated and harassed. This went on the whole time we were in the checkout. Security kept calling up to the register.
If this is what they do, falsely accuse and publicly humiliate then you deserve to be put out of business by Walmart.
My son in law is a lawyer and we are going to see what we can to to tile a lawsuit for publicly defacing our character and humiliating us and also for false accusations.
They need to get their information right and facts correct!

Kmart I was charged incorrectly

Kmart advertises, buy one board game, get one free - Thursday only! I purchase total of 6 games plus tableware that happens to be on sale. I get to my friends house and it turns out I am charged the full price for the tableware. My friend was nice enough to take me back to Kmart and $16.30 was returned due to overcharge. I am now at my house looking over the receipt again only to find another error on the board games. Two of the games show the discount but not the third. That means I have to find someone to take me back to Kmart because of another error. For crying outloud there wasn't even anyone in the store when we were there. It is costing me more in gas and inconveniencing someone to take me back and forth to Kmart. Not to mention that this is already an over $25.00 error already. I do not know if your register automatically enters the sale items or the person at the register was careless but it is utterly ridiculous that I have got to go back and forth unnecessarily. Next time I will have to hold up the line and check the receipt before I leave the register because Kmart does not have it together and I must think twice before shopping at Kmart to finish my Christmas shopping.
