I AM GOING TO TRY AND ORGANIZE A PROTEST TO TAKE THIS SALES OFFICE DOWN!
They do not tell you about their return policy and when I called within 2 days, the number provided DID NOT WORK! When I finally got a hold of someone they were extremely rude and unforgiving. If that is not pulling a fast one on someone I don't know what is. I want to make their lives a living hell!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I too was scam by Kirby, the sales person never mention that you have 3 days after purchase to cancelled. When i call the office no one ANSWER, until after a week. We need to stop this company form Scamming poor people. I am from New York and i am willing to fight to stop them and also get back my money.
I'm in San Diego and I was able to return mine... I did have to drive to the address on the reciept (Murrietta I think) to do it and they of course offered it to me at a lower price in order to still make a sale ($1000). I held my ground... said no and got my money back and cancelled the contract. Then the next time they came to my door... I said I wouldn't even discuss buying it unless they would sell it to me for $500 cash... take it or leave it. THEY WILL BARGAIN... and we have a Kirby NEW for $535. (the $35 was tax and a small fee). They tell you not to tell anyone but whatever... EVERYONE needs to know that the machine is awesome the price they start with is outragous but they will bargain. If that salesman wont... someone else will! Times are hard and if they want the sale they will work with you. :) Good luck!
Thank you for your post! I just actually got one & within my 3 day return policy period. Do you recommend only going to the office in Murrietta or one of the local distributor offices? Thank you :) Your post gives me hope!
You people need to read legal binding contracts before you sign them! This should be what you are so mad at. BTW that office is one of the top distributors in the world. Good luck with that!

And like you I was ripped off by kirby saleman also, my nightmare was like yours they came to my door, I like you also have a high traffic area, so I said yes go ahead and clean my rugs, I tried explaining I don't have the money to purchase one and here comes his manager, so they tried to get me credit which I told them I wouldn't qualify, so they talked me in to giving them my account number, what a _____ mistake, I called and spoke to a Jennifer and she told me yes it was cancelled and never did her or the salesman say you need to send the piece of paper back in 3 days, then to come to find out how convient this Jennifer works right in his office. Omg am I pissed. So the so called owner david metzger calls me and states hes debiting my account I freeked out and told him no (this was a Saturday) come Monday banks closed so Tuesday I find out that the man took 6 transactions out of my account bounced numerous of checks, what a mess I had, so I called him and what a rude man he said to me they gave you the sweeper (no they didn't it wasn't to be delivered till it was paid for) and if you give me the money I debited your account for my peoples troubles then we will call it even, are you f- kiddin me, NO, I said then he states I am done with you, I and sorry sucker you haven't gotten rid of me so quickly, I am going to make your life a nightmare welcome to Amy's world, of course he hung up on me. I like you would like to make this ###'s life a miserable one just like he did mine and how many others, I just hope they haven't gotten ahold of elderly people.
