Keranique billed for items not received

I received a bill for $169.74 for the trial items I received, and was told that if I did not pay it I would be put on the bad credit list. After calling them, Eric Ext. 222, said well, you still need to pay this amount for the trial order we sent you, but I'm willing to negotiate a deal. I said, no I'm not paying your company 1 cent for something I don't want or like. I received and paid for the samples and used them, but did not get the results they promised on the commercial. So much for the free trial! What a scam, I will bad mouth this company to everyone I know - too bad I thought this was an honest deal, and I was willing to give it a go, but it didn't give me the results I expected.

Keranique customer service

Today I received the 'free' Keranique hair system that was only $3.95 s&h. I saw on the bottom of the "statement:this is not a bill" that I'll be automatically charged on future shipments that I've given permission for the future shipments of $79.95. I was horrified so I called customer service immediately. I spoke with Lisa ext. 707 & told her I need this corrected immediately, that I'm on social security I don't have this $79.95 to spend, I never agreed to this auto shipment, what can I do to stop this. I was told the only way to stop it is if I don't like the product I must call before the next shipment goes out & send the kit back & this will stop it. I had a bad feeling! What should I do? I can't afford this.

Keranique unauthorized credit card charge

I received an email alert of a current credit card deduction, which I did not authorize. I called the
toll free telephone number given from the transaction. The recording stated it had a 24 hour customer service agent availability. No one answered the call, just a continuous recording stating my call would be forwarded to the next available product specialist (agent).

This company seems to be out-and out scammers. They debited my credit card today for $98.00 without any of my knowledge. I do not use any beauty creams or anything from this company. Credit card customer service gave me phone no from where the charge was made and on calling them no one answers the phone and I have left the message. The company's phone is a camera shop.

I noticed a charge on my checking account yesterday of $24.95 and the post was as follows: Acm*yourbeautyad888-8708802 Nj. Of course I didn't recognize the business, and this is my first attempt at investigating the matter. I will say I HAVE NOT ordered from them as far as I can remember, and I DID NOT authorize them to remove money from my account.
If they offered a "free sample" or an amazing deal I would have fell for it. Since I have no recollection that would have been at least 3 months ago. So what am I being charged for currently? Thanks, Jodie

Keranique autowithdrawals from accounts/overpriced

The product is overpriced, the trial package they claim they sent you is good for 60 days so you are billed $ 85.54 x 2 .This was not made very clear when one would try the free trial. It was a good thing I called for clarification regarding the invoice that came with the second package. I was shocked to find out that what was billed to me is only half of the first package they sent claiming that it was a 60 day supply but if I was to settle the account I clould get a discount of $ 30.00 .It is really horrible.I can say that the agents are so used to receiving the same complaints and they are ready to handle it. So Beware of KERANIQUE I found out we can get a similar product from he different outlets for a much cheaper price. Notify your bank not to authorize transaction with keranique if you cancelled your contract with them.

Keranique offered free sample for a shipping fee and now being billed for this, which they are taking out of my account and will do so every month

the web site offered a free sample for $3.95 which arrived a week later in full size, and now they are taking payments from my account monthly for something I did not sign up for and was not informed of at the time this is a expensive scam and I don't know what I should do at this point.

I have had this same problem and they don't want to refund my money. There is no where on facebook to complain about their treatment of people, but I am talking to a lawyer to see what can be done. I don't have an extra $79.95 for this product. I tried it with the understanding that it was a trial and all I had to pay was the shipping and handling. They charged my account twice. What a rip-off

Keranique charging you even if you cancel before the 30 days is up

I had cancelled my contract with Keranique a couple of weeks into the product use because my scalp was turning red, sore and itchy. I received my cancellation number and mailed the product back. Still they charged me the $79.99 on 10/21/2013 which caused me to be charged a $35.00 overdraft fee. They finally returned the money on 10/25/2013 but when I called to ask them what about the $35.00 overdraft fee they said they were only obligated to return the $79.99 and that I would be responsible for the overdraft. That is nuts when they weren't suppose to charge me anything. I want them to stop charging people the money when the contract is already cancelled. They are just soaking up the money for a few days just to make the consumer miserable. This has to stop.

I just did the same thing, called and spoke to customer rep, who was at first going to charge for the return label. I told her there was a return label and instructions in the box, BUT the return was to Hydroxy, with PO box 9200 not 9300, she told me that would be ok. Gave me a return authorization#, This was on Nov1, 2013, Told her I would mail at Post Office on the 4th. She then said it would have to be received by them 10 days later (Nov. 13, 2013).
I noticed that the label is for regular mail only, and the merchandise was sent in the Post Office priority mail carton. The post office will charge priority mail rates for that box to be re used ($12.95) so I wrapped the box in brown paper and attached the label and RA# written on the label in big red letters. Today, Nov 6 I received email from them with instructions, RA#, and a label to print off. Was never told I was getting this by email. and by the 6th, would definitely NOT give me enough time to get the package back to them by the 13th Nov. I suppose I will also get my credit card charged also..

Keranique fraud / exploitation

Do not buy this product! This is a scam!
You can buy the identical shampoo & conditioner from amazon.com for 1 / 3 the price.
Wal - mart sells the minoxidil for $18. 96. I was charged $159. 00 for one box of shampoo & conditioner and received another shipment that was not ordered & had to pay the shipping to return it. This is an unscrupulous business -
The "customer service" representative was rude & scornful. A truly unpleasant experience in every aspect.
I had to cancel my debit card to prevent future charges. I can't say strongly enough to avoid this company!

Keranique charged for returned product

I responded to a free sample ad on the internet on 5/6/13. This was a product to help with thinning hair. The company name was Keranique. I was sent the bottles, but, when I read the ingredients, I found that it had an ingredient that was not to be used with a medication I take. I called and informed the customer service agent of this. She authorized me to return it. We sent it registered mail and received certification that they had received it. Instead of refunding my $79.95, I was charged another $79.95 on 6/3/13. I called back, and they asured me they would refund both amounts. It is now 9/15/13 and I have never received a refund for either amount.

I order the free trial and was unable to use the product. I spoke with their customer service Angie Karlan ext 297 regarding return. She charged me 6.99 shipping fees and said she would send the shipping label. Shipping label never arrived and 1 month later my credit card was charge $79.99 for the product. I called today and talked with a rude young man, who, after an argument says he has arranged for a refund of the 79.99. So it has cast me $3.45 for original shipping and $6.99 and several emails and phone calls to discover this product blisters my skin.

I recommend you don't buy it or deal with Hydroxatone, the company name, in any way.

Keranique charged my card without permission

Called to order, was bombarded with so many other offers I lost count, was told the order was doubled FOR FREE. While looking at my bank account, saw there were 2 separate charges for the same amount on 2 consecutive days. Called customer service to complain. Explained the problem to the operator Corey at extension #278 and she proceeded to tell me it was past the 30 days, fine, but why 2 charges. She said I received 2 boxes. I said that is right. The man who took the order said it was free. She said no, it is not free. I asked for the supervisor and she refused stating that it was not an emergency? I told her I was returning the product and I wanted a refund. She refused stating she could not do that. I asked for the supervisor. She would not let me speak to "him" as she referred to the person. I said how can you charge for a free product? She kept stating it was not free to send the second box. I asked again for a supervisor. She still refused. I said, OK, then when my call was first placed, the man that answered said this call is being recorded for customer service, I want to hear that tape. He told me the second portion was free. She then put me on hold for over 6 minutes and came back on the line stating that the supervisor named "him" would have to pull the records and call me back. I said that was unacceptable I needed to resolve this today. She said he was too busy. I asked how his time could be more valuable than mine? She refused to let me speak to "him" again stating that he was on another call. . I said this is unacceptable and that I wanted to speak to him today. She said he was too busy. She said she had already been on the phone more than 13 minutes and that there was nothing more she could do. I said no, your job is customer service and this was not service nor was I happy. I wanted to speak to the supervisor and she disconnected the call.

This company is now advertising on a local TV channel in Winston Salem, NC. The pitch is to call within 5 minutes for a free sample of the product. This "hurry before it's gone" tactic made me suspicious. I found this site and am very glad I did. Minoxidil is the same hair loss product prescribed to men. So the part of the ad stating something to the effect of " ladies it's your turn now" is misleading since it suggests their product is different from that used by men.

Keranique charged for free trial

We ordered a free trial and were charged later on our credit card. When we called they now say - "oh you needed to return the product in 30 days".. But that was not mentioned anywhere on their website or when we ordered..
It's very misleading and exploiting unsuspecting simple folks..Very bad and shameful.. A reputed company will never do such a thing !

Dear Customers,
I am SO glad that the net has the ability to warn the consumer of fraud. It USED to be, that there was a check and balance system to all advertisements; all products. People that experienced just a quarter percent of what I've read in these reviews, who sent complaints to the television station, but more importantly to a sponsor that aloud false advertisements on his air wave, would either cut the commercial or face ridged sanctions. A court order, bench warrant to appear before a judge would have been issued. We had more protection against fraud back in the 60's than we have today. NO one polices the Net or for that mater there isn't any agency to protect the average citizen against from false advertising in general on the Net, cable, or the satellite stations. Yeah, I've heard the phrase, "Buyer be ware!", but THAT is assuming that there exists some type of level playing field. Some agency assigned to protect the public
We no longer anyone protecting us, so it is refreshing to know that we can at least warn each other..

Keranique terms not posted obviously enough

Ordered their free 30 day offer expecting to only pay the shipping charge, which is what happened but then I was charged for the two months supply half of it 30 days later. That is when I called them. They were very nice and explained that the terms were on the order page so now I had to eat crow after I checked out the on-line order page. I copied the terms below but I feel they need to post them somehow more obvious on their order page and told them so.

Please send me a 2 month supply of Keranique to try risk free for 30-days. I will be billed today just $3.95 shipping and processing. With the 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee, I just have to call within 30 days of receipt and return the System within 2 weeks to avoid being billed any additional amount. If I keep the System, I will be billed two payments of $79.95, 30 days and 60 days following receipt of my shipment. Then unless I cancel, I will continue to receive a new 60 day supply every 2 months with the low price of just $79.95 per month for 2 months plus $7.95 S&P per shipment, which will be billed to the card I provide today. By clicking "Rush My Trial", I authorize Keranique to charge my card for each shipment per the terms described above. NJ residents pay sales tax. There is no commitment to continue. I can call customer service at [protected] at any time to cancel. My 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee covers every shipment of Keranique.

Keranique free offer

I order the free trial offer & called back to stop the auto ship. I wanted to only order the regrow your hair which was $29.00 but he told me he would be charging my cc for 79.00 dollars 2 different times for the supposedly free trial offer. Now I am 75 years old & have dealt with lots of online companies but this guy was really slick. When I tried to dispute the charges he told me he already had put it through & had given me a reference number. Sure enough when I checked my cc after I hung up it had gone thru. This company needs to be stopped -- it is a total rip off. The products may help some people but their method of operation is totally deceptive. I am going to report them to BBB & the Attorney General in their state but you need to warn people of this company. They are the slickest I have ever dealt with & you are unable to stop them from charging your account.

This is the worst product I have ever used. I paid for the trial and then I was billed $79.00 for something I did not order. I stay FAR away from "auto-drafts". If a product works as advertised, & the price is fair, consumers will WANT/order more. I have NEVER had a positive experience w/any auto-draft products. Keranique fraud

I received a free sample offer, just pay 3.95 for shipping. I was leary of being issued a "membership program" so I read the whole thing carefully and nowhere on it did it say "just buy 2 more..." or anything like that, cause I hate that, if I like something i'll buy it again. So I get it in the mail and lo and behold, now they've put me in a "club". So I call to cancel and get the "just press number 1..." routine for a while - then finally push "the right button" and get put on hold for over an hour! Never spoke to anyone, so i've emailed them a few days ago now and still nothing. Do not do business with this company, they're a bunch of frauds! But i'm the idiot who did!

I too was scammed by this company. I accepted the free trial and received the products about two weeks. I received a few more products periodically. Approximately three months later I received another set of the original products (shampoo, conditioner and minoxidil). Up to this time, I had not even used any of the products, so I called the company to make arrangements for return of the products. At that time, I was informed that I could not return the items and my credit card was charged for the first items and they could not get an approval for the last set of items. I told them not to charge my card because I wanted to return the items. She insisted that I could not send the items back. Again, I asked them not to charge my card and threatened to contact the Better Business Bureau. My card was not charged for the second shipment and I have not had any further contact with the company. This company in my view has lost all credibility with me and because of this, I have not even used any of the products.

Keranique continued billing and shipping when told no

I am a diabled woman who trying to help herself with this product. T expense is too much for me now. When they called in July for this I told them no, no more product. I didn't think to get names, numbers or anything. I had just had brain surgery that month 2 weeks earlier. last week I got another shipment and a huge charge. when I called they told me this was July's charge, but send the package back. none of their comercials have said this. they say just the opposite, when you return you money will be refunded. i cannot even by groceries or any medications I need now. This is the most terrible situation, thing I know. what inadequate people. I just dont know what I'm going to do. Marcel Newbegin

Keranique fraud - misleading ads

Beware of risk free trial. Not risk free. Very misleading about how much you will be charged. The "risk free" trial that is advertised for only a small shipping charge is a scam. You have to return the bottles in 30 days or you are charged for two months supply - $160. They send one bottle of shampoo and one bottle of conditioner; however, they say that is a 60 days supply. So of course you miss the 30 day return deadline and are charged for two months. Customer service response is that I don't know how to use the product.

Thank you for the warning! I had thought about getting the trial but not anymore. Medicine has made my hair thin considerably, but I'm no longer taking that particular medicine. I'll just wait till it grows back.

Again, this is NOT RISK FREE! I ordered Keranique, agreed to pay the $79.95 since I truly used the first order even though I found it didn't work. I cancelled it on-line and yes, I did find the site that allowed me to do this! One month later, I was billed another $79.95. I called and talked to a 'Billy' who said another package had been mailed already and as soon as I received it, call him at his extension and he would help me get it returned and credited. It arrived, I called the 888 number but there was no place to enter 'Billy's' extension. I was then given someone named 'Cody' who told me I "obviously" did not cancel the order because he did not see it. He said I the second $79.95 was part of the 'agreement' that I was to get two packages and would be billed a $79.95 for two months. I DID NOT see this. I DID cancel any further orders on-line. He was rude. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS AS IT IS CERTAINLY A RISK.

I agree! They keep taking money out of my account and I never received the items, they say I have and it must have been stolen, I've never had my mail stolen!

Keranique charges

I fell for their d Wsvertisment for a free trial that would only cost me 7.95. However, no told me that I needed to return the product before 30 days or I would be charged 79.95. I told them I did not to receive further shipments, and today I received another one at an additional cost of 79.95. I called customer service and talked to a rude supervisor who kept telling me if I pay today they would give me a $20.00 credit. I dont want a 20.00 creidt I want a refund for all the money that was charged to my account for something that does nothing of what it claims. What a scam!

I am complaining about a charge on my credit card for 79.95 for what reason I do not know. I participated in a survey that sent me some FREE products, and I don't understand why I'm being charged this price. I believe this is fraud and false advertising, want can I do to prevent this from recurring.
My email address is vmnolen@gmail.com if you can reply.

They sent me a kit after the "free trial" and took full cost out of my bank account without notice. Over $200.00!

Keranique don't fall for it like I have

I had ordered a free trial of Keranique my debit card was chared the $7.95 but I was also sent other advertising for budget savers which I told them I was not interested in that. when I called Keranique and said I was not wanting them to send out anymore they said they already had and they wanted me to pay that $150.00 bill I told them I did not want it and then they said if I paid S86.95 that I would be locked into that price if I ever ordered from them again and that they would send me out a free shampoo. I did recieve the free shampoo but I do not plan on ever ordering from them again ITS a SCAM. Most of those that avertise on TV to try something for a 30 0r 60 day trial are because when they send it out the next time they attach a big bill with it. Don't fall for it like I have!

This is definitely a scam! I called within the 30-day trial period to cancel and was told it was canceled on that date. Then my credit card statement a couple of weeks later revealed two charges or $79.95 each made on the same day I called. When I contacted a representative was informed that I had agreed to the charges on the cancellation call, which is totally false. They refuse to credit my account. This company is so deceptive and truly violates the false advertising of the trial period and return policy, etc. WHAT A SCAM! Wished I had read the above comments before I fell for this! Conned in Texas

This is such a scam! I had fallen for the same thing. I ordered the product and the 30 days was a crock. I called to cancel because the product made my hair greasy and limp. When I tried explaining to the rep she told me that I was using the product the wrong way. What, by going by the instructions on the bottles was wrong? I asked. She said Well depending on your hair type you have to leave in your hair a little longer.then she tried to sell me another product for hair growth and volume. AS IF! I was still charged the full price of the product and to send it back for a refund you have to pay shipping and handling and that was just a joke too. The next bank statement had another charge for a shipment that I didn't even receive. I had to call them and waited 25 mins to actually talk to someone who had told me that the shipment wasn't out yet. So, I was paying for something that I had canceled, that wasn't shipped out in the first place, and was sitting there collecting extra funds for their pocket. Had I not took a close look at my bank statement I would have never known they did that.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM! They bundle a bunch of mediocre products (shampoo, conditioner, hair treatment and nioxin) then charge you almost $200.00! They say try it for 30 days but it's really only 2 weeks because the time it takes for shipping to and from them is included. The first time I used the product I liked the result enough, but after continuous use, the hair felt limp, weak and unclean. When I called to return it, they said my 30 days had expired and they were going to charge me for the balance of $80.00. What a waste of money! The product that makes your hair grow is the nioxin which you can buy anywhere. But Keranique bundles all this other stuff so they can charge you an unreasonable amount of money. My suggestion is to buy a nioxin shampoo from a store and save your money.
