I bought a microwave about a year and a half ago and replaced a perfectly working microwave that was 20 years old but was ugly. The microwave I purchased was a stainless steel kenmore because I wanted to purchase a quality product instead of going to wal-mart and buying junk. Sears told me that since I didn't buy the extended waranty they weren't going to back there own product. I understand when you buy a new tv that maybe a waranty would be smart because its sensitive equipment but a microwave, come on! There supposed to last forever. I will never shop at sears again, I guess I'll go Chinese and buy cheap at Wal-mart.
