Robert Labos is a huge scam. He scam us 350 thousand pesos for treatment and 30 thousand personal expenses of my brother. He manipulated my family and he lied to us on everything like treatment cost, registration, therapy, personal expenses.. He promised and assured us that he will do his best to help my alcoholic brother. I found out that Kaya rehab is not registered. He is scam us because he knew that we are desperate for our brother to get treatment. In short we are naive for all his drama / sweet talk in the beginning. We have all the receipts and all conversations. No wonder why he only wants to talk over the phone not explained in email. I hope we get our money back because I work hard for my money and we are just average family. Or he will go to jail for) stapa) He was extremely bossy, sarcastic, rude and demanding.

I am a filipino living in Thailand, and have been working in a world class treatment facility specializing in alcohol and drug rehabilitation. Wherein this so called Program Director has been working prior to this. I have to believe that he was involved with embezzlement of funds or something close to this, and this led to his license and credentials being revoked. So I ask this, if he has a criminal case and such in Thailand then why was he able to put up a facility in the Philippines? I have checked the facility in the Philippines and to my knowledge there are no permits for this establishment to operate and also he has put KAYA under a non-profit organization and yet he charges Php150, 000.00/per month for his facility and this is being charged per client. Talk about non profit! I have also learned that he operates a Half-way house which he charges Php35, 000.00 a month and doesnt even include the meals according to my informant. I urge the public that before checking your love ones for help and care check if they are licensed from the program director to the councilors ask for their certifications and when making payments always ask for the Official Receipt with corresponding TIN/BIR numbers, and remember regardless of your love-one's affliction get them proper help.

kaya asia is a rehab in baguio. during my call asking for help for my family member, i asked mr. robert labos if the rehab is accredited and if theyre counselors are licensed. after a long explanation which i really didnt understand, he said they have all the licenses. i also asked about the food and the bedrooms and told me satisfaction rate is 99%. now, my family member had finished his stay/program but much to my surprise, the expensive rehab cost is not worth it. food is nice but not what we expect. room is ok but often theres no tissue paper. mr. robert labos and his wife, evy the clinical head, were often arguing about money. theres no excursion and theres no free snacks. what they put on their website attracted me to let my family member go to their treatment but everything is only false advertising. theres no excursion to la union or anything. my family member is now trying not to use not because of the treatment but he is "nasasayangan" to the money we payed to kaya. we dont have receipt for 100, 000+ pesos we payed plus hidden charges. avoid this money making machine!
