Kalahari.com Late delivery / no collection of damaged goods / lying

I ordered a GPS sports watch from Kalahari.com on Wednesday the 6th of August with a PROMISED delivery time of within 24 hours. After 72 hours and still no product I phoned Kalahari, they changed the date of delivery without informing me. I eventually received the product ONE WEEK LATE. After initial use I was pleased with the watch however discovered one of its accessories(the cadence sensor) was broken. I requested a return from Kalahari.com due to the broken cadence censor. Only after THREE DAYS I received a response from Kalahari.com informing me that they would collect the parcel. Here I am ANOTHER THREE DAYS after that call and still no collection from Kalahari.com If the watch is eventually collected Kalahari's policy to is take TWO WEEKS OR POSSIBLY MORE to return the product to me. They are unable to collect just the accessory and will only take the entire product even though the watch is working fine.

At long last today I received a phone call from Kalahari with another BROKEN PROMISE to collect the watch today. Needless to say they lied and still haven't collected it.

Assuming the GPS watch is collected soon and is returned to me within the specified period, even though [URL Removed] promised delivery within 24 hours I will only of received a fully functional product after 30 days (720 HOURS).

Kalahari.com Online purchases

On the 27 February 2013 i purchased a few items on the kalahari.com website that was priced at R9.95. I placed my order, paid with my debit card, which was immediately deducted from my account. At 08:57am on 27 February 2013 I received an email of confirmation that my order will be delivered within 12 working days. At 12:47pm I received an email from Kalahari stating the following: "Unfortunately, due to a data error Philips products were displayed with a blatantly incorrect price of R9.95".
Surely I shouldnt be held liable for Kalahari's mistake. Accoridng to me I should get my items as advertised on their website. They also indicated that i will be re-imbursed within 3-5 working days. Surely when they realised the error they shouldve immediately refunded me my money. Why should I wait 3-5 working days when within a matter of seconds my money was deducted from my bank account.

Kalahari.com Return of goods - passing the buck

I ordered 3 books from kalahari.com, tried for 2 weeks to get hold of them, (Note: they have a certain period on returns) to send someone to collect 2 books i want to return. Eventually the courier serv collected it - it was in mint condition & still brand new & in a yellow hardcover plastic folder! The only time i "used" them was when i received them to see what the content was & found them useless! I"ve not used them since! When he took it from me, he already had "mushy fingers" & let it slip out of the cover! So, if it was damaged it was not caused by me! I will take this further & make sure that no one will ever order from kalahari !

The above is absolute crap!
Your policy state that goods can be returned if they are in mint condition, so why on earth would i waste my time & money sending them back if i know you won't accept them if they are damaged!
I am a person of intellect as well as honest - i take great offence of being portrayed as dishonest and a liar by kalahari.com
Ps - i received a email from kalahari stating that i should pay r55 collection fee and upon receipt they will send the courier co to collect the book, then…the next day i received another email from kalahari, (Another person) stating that they do not accept return on books at all? So this already shows me that they do not have a clue as to what they are doing there!
“murhy’s law” – i neglected to take photos of the books before i returned them and now have no proof in what condition they were.

I ordered a few books from Kalahari.com online shopping to the value of R255.00 during the month of November. Unfortunately I did not realise that it was e-books, but the minute that I've realized that the books was digital. I cancelled my order by e mail because I had nowhere to download those books. It was in a matter of 10 minutes time. They replied to my e mail and said that I must download the books on my home PC. I told them that I dont own a home PC and did'nt hear from them again. They took R255.00 from me for nothing and I will never ever deal with them again.

I ordered items on the 9th of April which should have been delivered on the 23rd. I got and email stating it will be delivered on the 24th. On the 24th I received no communication and called in and talked to sales consultant. He said that he will investigate and come back to me. On the 29th still nothing I called in again and spoke to another consultant that said nothing was done yet and that she needs to investigate. She said she will phone me back. No one phoned me back. I called again on the 30th and talked to a consultant where I demanded to speak to a team leader, Sarah, who came back but each time with, we could not do anything or we don't know what is going on. I asked to speak to management but was each time blocked or told they are in meeting. After spending hour on the phone I got hold of Silvia Gous, who was very arrogant and told me they are investigating and that Justin their Operation Manager is looking into it. I asked that Justin contact me, but she said he wont and I can mail him. It seems Justin is too important to speak to the customers. I need this order before end of this week and no one seems in the mood to assist.

WE USED KALAHARI FOR THE 1ST TIME AND ORDERED A BIRTHDAY GIFT FOR OUR DAUGHTER(SAMSUNG TAB 4) WITH COVER. ORDER PLACED ON 10TH NOVEMBER AND DID EFT WHICH WE EMAILED THROUGH AND KALAHARI CONFIRMED RECEIVED AND PARCEL DESPATCHED BY THEIR COURIER SERVICE, FEDEX, SAME DAY .CORRESPONDENCE TO US STIPULATED WE WILL HAVE OUR GOODS WITHIN 24 TO 48 HOURS. FEDEX PHONED 14TH AND SAID PARCEL LOST IN SYSTEM. HAVE BEEN PHONING KALAHARI EVERYDAY WITH NO LUCK AND NO FEEDBACK. TODAYS DAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY AND HAVE NO GIFT TO GIVE HER THANKS TO KALAHARI AND FEDEX. SO FRUSTRATING FOR PHONING EVERY SINGLE DAY.!

I placed an order 10 weeks ago and paid for it (I have proof of payment) and still haven't received the product. I used their website to submit several enquiries regarding this and they have not responded to any of them. First enquiry was sent almost 2 weeks ago (I received confirmation emails that they received it).

I also called the call centre and the representative told me to contact my bank even though I have proof of payment (I've sent it to them in the meantime). Also told me that because they are busy I can expect a response time of 2 days. I'm not expecting special treatment here but not getting any response is unacceptable.

I've been a regular and loyal client of kalahari.com for more than a year, buying books and electronics from them but this situation will definitely change my future purchases with them.

I ordered a gift (book) for my sister. Kalahari sent me an email to say it is ready for delivery. I checked the tracking number and it shows it has been delivered. The order has been closed BUT the book has not been delivered; there are no replies from the support email address on the emails I sent;
