I gave Just Answer my credoit card number which they were to charge if I was satisfied
with the answer from their "mechanic". The answer came the next day. It was, "Here is the answer to your question..." And that's all there was. There was no answer. I emailed them back and their reply was, "Yes it is just read it." I had my nephew who I a computer expert look at it and he said there was no more to the email than"Here is the answer to your question..." It was then I realized this must be a scam. They had charged my credit card $5.00 and $17.00. I called the credit card company and disputed the charges and told them I thought it was a scam. They called the 800 number of JustAnswer and we had a 3-way call. The man at just answer had a thick Chinese accent. I told him they said they wouldn't charge my card until I was satisfied with the answer. I said I wasn't satisfied and I thought JustAnswer was a scam, I got the refund because the credit card agent was on the line with us. Interesting that when I received the refund it had a tine and date on it that correlated with Beijng China! If 1, 000 people charge $22.00 and then think it's not worth disputing this scam makes $22, 000. If you don't dispute with your credit car company you may find a monthly charge from JustAnswer on your credit card. The Chinese man was trying to confuse the issue and say I bought a prescription to JustAnswer which I said I did not. If I were a little older and confused easily I see how this could be a lucrative scam that targets old people.

This company told me that they would stop charging my credit card in October. Since then, they have changed the charge from just answer for legal advice to just answer for veterinarian advice. I have paid them over $400 in monthly fees and this needs to stop. There has been no answer on their 800 line, and their website does not allow cancellations--DO NOT USE THIS SITE.

Please would you kindly direct me to the correct department in order to de-register from this site and to discontinue the $16.00 being debited to my account monthly. I was not aware that this has been happening for months.

i phoned Just answer ONCE for which I was charged $20. subsequently I have ben charged regularly the same amount on my credit card without my permission and without having asked for further service f23e5

i used just answer to aks a question on my artic cat snowmobile. I was given the wrong anwser. mechanic named racetech said i didnt have to split my crankcase but the local shop said I do and showed me the part and how it goes in. I would like my $28 back now please.

I have, or I thought I had, paid for legal advice on a basis of 1 question /1 answer /1 payment and was very surprised to discover Just Answer had been debiting my bank account with regular monthly payments to themselves without me asking for any advice.
Now I discover that I am not the only one to suffer this experience.
Perhaps they may advise on action that one might take.

On July 27th, I asked for help setting up my Belkin Router: I agreed to pay for 1/2 hour service: The company changed the amount of time to one full hour - during that time, my problem could not be resolved: I was switched from one assistant to a 'group' - within the alloted time, I got no answers to my problem. The time expired, I logged off the site. When my bill came, I was charged.

what a scam, just runaround should be the company name, what a joke caution this site is a scam, pull your pants down befor you get on site and get ready for a sore but and dont expect any kiss afterwords, ps try to get them on phone

I noticed posts about Just Answer.

I was having £11.00 a month being debited.
I used the service in March but not afterwards

The company said it thought I had taken out a subscription

But when I got back to them directly by e mal and my bank they have stopped the payments and re funded the money

I think that some of the 'scams' may be down to this error

I posted a question on justanswer.com and i gave the credit card number for the deposit. In case my problem was not fixed, it was supposed to have the deposit refunded. My problem was not fixed but the money were taken from the credit card. I emailed them a few times and still no answer. Just a scam.

I had one question about my Kodak digital camera operation and thought that the fee I paid was for that one answer. Now since April 2010 Just Answer is taking $16.00 out of my account each month. STOP that and refund these charges. Thank you.

asked a mebical question aprl 2010 and signed to pay £13.00 fee/the fee was paid and since then they have taken £13.00 monthly from my bank account/not authorised/help help please

I was looking for trouble shooting help with my treadmill. Justanswer said they could find an answer for $11.00 "if" I recieved a satisfactory answer. The next thing I know, money is taken from my account and then I get an email saying someone has answered my question. But in order to see the answer I have to agree to wave any liability on the part of Justanswer. Now I'm out $11.00 and still don't have an answer.

I asked Just Answer a question over a month ago. I never received a response but they did manage to bill my credit card for $15 without providing any service. This website is a scam, do not waste your time or money. I can not seem to find a customer service number or anything. If anyone knows of how to contact these people please let me know.

I logged on to ask how I'd go about sealing up a leak in my cars cowl panel and he went to tell me how to find where leak was when I already knew where was just couldn't get a replacement part from dealership cause discontinued and not from junk yard cause they break them in taking off defeating purpose of getting from them. Well I agreed to $23 and found out they took $46.

We only authorized for a $15 dollar charge and our credit card statement came back as $30. No way of getting a live person for help, only work via email. Watch out! Working with our Credit Card to get resolved.

I went to Just Answer to ask for advice on how to prepare a Marriage Separation Agreement. I authorized payment of $30 for the answer. When I went to get my answer, they asked for an additional $38. No way! WOW -- WHAT A SCAM! Have asked for a refund and cancellation of subscription - most likely a long wait.

Some months ago I presented 'Just Answer' with some technical questions; some of which they answered reasonably well, and I paid them the suggested amounts.
On the 19th December, and again on 1st February they took £21 from my account.
I did not agree to this.

I paid a deposit for a question which was never answerd. I have requested a refund 4 times and no one has even replied to any of my e-mails. Dealing with this company will only lead to heartache, stay away!

Just Answer is a joke. I asked a neurological question and got a stupid answer. The so called doctor didn't even think about the question, he just gave a bull ### answer. So I cancelled the membership right away, and they still charged me, so now I am in the process of trying to get my money back.

I asked a simple medical question that could have been answered in less than 5 minutes by a competent physician. The response said that I would have to pay THREE TIMES the original estimated amount to have my questions answered. Don't give your credit card number!

This place is a fraud outfit, they charged my credit card this month another $17.00. They took along time to answer my question, ended up calling a repairman after waiting all day. I canceled the order but was still charged and again charged for this month, NO business with them. They are a SCAM.
