I met with the representative and was assured that my debt would be decreased from close to $70, 000 to less then $5000. He said I had to sign the contract before I left. So, I called my husband and told him how they could help. I was so relieved and looked forward to "letting a professional represent us", and having the promise of being worry free.

The same thing happened to me, endless paperwork, not returning calls, more requests for the same paperwork, more missed e-mails, never being able to talk with my case representative, etc. It's been 9 months now, still without an OIC. The IRS has placed liens and I believe we could have avoided this if I had negotiated with the IRS myself 9 months ago instead of waiting on JK Harris. Our debt is well over $100, 00 now with interest and penalties. What a continued nightmare.
