almost ten months later and we are still waiting for a new home the shack they built on our property still sits here falling apart and getting worse by the day if we make any repairs we are voiding the warrenty so we cant but the foundation is fallingapart we have a three foot drop between our kitchen and our master bath room and to lift it will make our house come apart
i am going to different towns and talking to other homeowners and finding that there are many of us in the same boat and I have an attorney who is taking clients in texas and I know an attorney in Florida and West Virginia you can talk to so please feel free to contact me and I will give you the names of those attorneys
I am looking in the other states they built homes as well and will help homeowners with all the information that I can and hopefully we can all band together and stand united for our homes these are a few of the pictures of my house and how they left it i have alot on my myspace www.myspace.com/proudmommatx check out what we were led to believe we were getting and what we actually got

All I see a home that just needs a little work to be finished. Nothing in the pics you posted show a home falling apart. Cracked drywall is VERY common; pealing vinyl is another very common thing as well. The studs you show in the pics are fine, very few of the interior frame work is load bearing. This is even truer with Jim Walter home due to them designing homes that are easy and cheap to build. I use to inspect homes in Florida for Attorneys representing home owners like you, and found that 90% of the time there was no defect of any kind. I'm not posting this to say you’re wrong, but the pics do not support your claim. I hope this helps you to start enjoying you home, and if you like I can help guide you to getting things resolved properly. This will of course have to be done via email, and no I’m not looking for money. Post a reply and let me know if you would like the help.

first of all thank you for your input but you are way off base there are alot of things structually wrong with this house but some things can not be disclosed on here until after court there is no way to enjoy this house and i guess that the other 40 something people are wrong as well and the fact that my house had to be levelled 2 months after moving in and then again a month later is no reason to believe this house is defective or the fact that rain poured into my back door and down my kitchen floor the day i moved in would not be a reason to think it is defective and i am sorry they built it cheap but a `169 thousand dollar mortgage is not a cheap house or it shouldnt have been

well it went as expected they say there is 23 thousand dollars damage to my house by their inspector which is a load of crap we had our own foundation people here and just the foundation work alone is over 30 grand so on to the next step and in the mean time after all releases are signed there will be a web site for everyone to go see all of the homes that are falling apart i will keep everyone posted as things progress but as we all know they arent going to admit they built defective homes

ALL IT TAKES IS READING OR HAVING KNOWLEDGE THEY STARTED COMPLATING HOMES IN THE 90S TO 100% AND IF YOU HAVE A DEFECTIVE HOME YOU NEED TO TAKE ACTION CALL AN ATTORNEY OF YOUR CHOICE AND FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS DO NOT LET TEH PEOPLE WHO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS STOP YOU FROM ACTING
AND A DEFECTIVE HOME IS JUST THAT A DEFECTIVE HOME AND MY HOME IS 169.000 TO ME THAT IS NOT CHEAP
PEOPLE ARE FILING SUIT ALL OVER THE 17 STATES THAT THEY BUILT HOMES IN AND YOU WILL SEE THAT THIS IS NOT JUST A FEW PEOPLE THERE ARE OVER 40 CASES WITH MY ATTORNEY ALONE AND OTHER ATTORNEYS TAKING CASES
KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AND PROTECT THEM AT ALL COSTS
