JC Penney rude, bully, dike, employee

I was shopping dec. 2016 first express for kids $800 in cc then JCP to finish up another $500 as you can imagine I could not carry all bags so I had cousin and neice help me. All sudden getting ready to exit a Dike lady attacked me and my bags which I had several and said the girl that was with me put a pair of nike socks in one of my bags she knew I didn't do it but it was in one of my bags she starts tearing threw my stuff and recovered the Nike socks. Couple days later I receive letter in mail I am being charged with theft. I was amazed the lady stated she knew I did not do it and that I had just spent over $500 and I was a frequent customer because she looked up my info threw my rewards. I felt so violated that she could look up my info, the way she attacked me and my belongings and throwing things out of bag and she clearly stated to me and in the report I got that I didn't do it other girl did 3 mo later and almost $3000 attorney fees still have not cleared my name. big corp horrible horrible treatment of little people

JC Penney top load washer

I don't think that I've been so upset with Penny's ever.
We went to JC Penney's on 01/11/2017 to buy a washer. The first one we picked out said it didn't come in white and on the floor there was a white one there. So then we picked out a LG top load washer and went to pay and they would not deliver to us. They only go a certain area. We asked if we could have delivered to the store and they also said no. I said you have a place to pick up for catalog orders and since your selling appliances why they couldn't pick them up. So we were on our way to Sears and look at there's and they did deliver to our area. So we went back to Penny's and asked if they deliver in town and they said yes. So we had the washer delivered to our Aunts.
If you are selling appliances then you need to deliver or let it come to the store. I liked the LG and that's only why we went back to the store. I thought they were rude and didn't want to help us at all.

JC Penney appliances

If you are going to start selling appliances, then commit to it.
First, your store in Sanford Florida does not have someone in the appliance department to answer the phone. I spent 2 days trying to reach someone at the store. Once at the store (1/17/2017) I was told representatives are often moved to another department, leaving the Appliances department void of anyone to answer the phone.
Second, I don't understand, that after placing an order, changes can't be made. At the time of purchase I wasn't sure if my builder already allocated resources for the appliance installation. I was advised to purchase the install and cancel if I didn't need it. Well that was a mistake. When I called customer service two days later, I was told that I could not cancel the installation line items on my order because they had not been received; that I had to wait until my order was delivered. Why can't a cancellation be made prior to shipment?
My order is sitting in queue, not to be delivered for 3 weeks, but no changes can be made?
I was told I could only cancel the entire order, that changing only two items on my order was not possible.
This makes no sense to me.
I would like my credit now instead of waiting for 3 weeks and then having to tell the delivery guy to submit my request.

JC Penney website problem and customer service

I was missing my order when i tried to view it on the web site. I call [protected] and spoke to a representative on 1/13. She tried to help me locate my order which she could not locate in the same window I was viewing on my account, so she emailed me the order. We then tried to locate my rewards history, that was also missing. We spent over an hour doing many different steps to get my order so that i could view it. No luck! She said she would contact the IT tech about the problem and I would get an email in a couple days about this issue. I never receive any feed back. Today 1/19 I called and spoke to Essy a supervisor. She didn't have any answer as to why this was happening. She wanted to delete my account and wanted me to start over and enter all my information again. I asked why the representative I spoke to the first time told me IT tech would resolve and email me. She said, I don't know. I hit a dead end to resolve this issue and wasted over two hours now. Someone needs to resolve this web site issue.

JC Penney local store

I have an almost 13 year old daughter in a wheelchair. In August, I took her and 2 of my other daughters shopping for clothes. The racks were so close together that I couldn't fit her wheelchair into the majority of the store. I couldn't get her close enough to clothes for her to look at them. And the racks that I could get her chair to we're so close together that she was slapped in the face with various articles of clothing as I tried to maneuver her back to the main aisle. I mentioned to several associates how I couldn't get her chair through. They gave a half hearted apology and shrugged their shoulders. Sunday, Jan. 15, I took her and her sisters shopping at JC Penney again, well, i should say that i attempted to take her shopping. There were even fewer places that i could maneuver her. We gave up trying after many attempts to get her wheelchair through aisles. I did not speak to anyone today because my child had become so upset and overwhelmed by not being able to even look at clothes and being hit in the face by clothes that she was beginning to melt down. I had to get her out and to the car.Batesville Arkansas jc penney IS NOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE OR WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY IN ANY WAY! The last 2 shopping trips to this store have been miserable and i plan to boycott this chain as well as let other parents of wheelchair bound children know what a miserable experience shopping at penneys is.

JC Penney 7974089 olivia leather roll arm sofa

I tried to purchase online, three (3) of these sofas at 7:30 AM on 1/17/2017. The sale price shown on your website was $1180.00. When I added the 3 sofas to my bag it showed a price of $2360.00. I used the 40% off (Shop44) and I received the discount but I did not receive the sale price advertised. I called the chat line and they informed me there was nothing they could do . The sale was over . I told them I had a screen shot of the sale price and the sale date ending 1/18/ 2017. I asked for an email address to forward the screen shot to. No email. BUT, I could include the screen shot in my chat. I told her that I would have to come off of my iPad and use my computer in order to do it. I also asked how to get the chat started again. She said just start another chat. Thanks for using JC Penney.
I then called customer service and explained what happened. She said that was a flash sale, too bad nothing we can do. I told her I had a screen shot of the sofa price and sale date. Could I send it to her. No sorry no email for you to send it to. No help I can give you. I asked to speak to her supervisor she said she would connect me. I waited on hold over 35 minutes and was then disconnected.
So there was no resolution. I have 3 sofas in my JCP bag and I cannot purchase them because they are the wrong price.
I believe that I should be able to purchase the 3 sofas at the $1180.00 sale price and receive the 40% shop44 discount.

JC Penney order

I placed an order on 01/05/17. The shipment was late. One of the items was missing which was a pillow. I never received it. Agent over the phone was willing to credit so when I questioned him, he did but sent me a check for the amount instead of crediting me on my paypal or giving me a giftcard so I could go to the store to replace the item. The other items came with incorrect sizing. Went to the store. Store didnt have any items in stock so had to purchase something else. Manager didnt want to give me the discount that I received on the original order. What a mess? How do you guys stay in business with this customer service?

JC Penney cleanliness/maintenance/organization of bathroom & store

Hello! I was @ your Green Acres mall valley stream long island location...store very unorganized, cluttered & once again bathroom dirty &needs renovation & maintenance...
For 26yrs I've been living in the neighborhood. Since my mom loves shopping @ JC penny's & I always accompany her Ive always compliant about the women's bathroom esp...it's the new year & I hope you start to a better & cleaner green acres location for 2017... As u see one of the picture shown very much rusted bathroom...also not in pic still old school flusher & sink handles broken that it's a big waste of water!
My name is Anne & I hope there will be a solution though it's 26years after...

JC Penney burnt hair

On [protected] I had a hair appointment at the JC Penney Salon with an associate named Natalia. (store 0671). I had brought in a picture of the style I had wanted and instructed her I wanted a wave in my hair and a dye. She proceeded to do the perm, which was left in for 30 minutes. She never checked my hair to see how it was doing. Anyway, she started on the dye after the perm, which I told her I could wait 2 or 3 weeks to get, but she said it was ok to go ahead and do. As she was taking the rollers out of my hair, she kind of muttered I didn't think they would take so well. She had used white rods. Unsure as to what she meant, I figured that after all, she had said that when the color was put in it would soften the curls. It did not. I looked like Shirley temple. Anyway, she instructed me not to wash my hair for two days. Which I did. But by that time, my hair turned into a fro. I went in that following Wednesday to get a refund (on haircut and perm, color was fine), and the salon manager wasn't in. So the manager from the retail store came and took pictures and had me write my phone number and name down so the salon manager could call me. She also took pictures of my hair. I have heard from no one. This is very upsetting as I have been going to this salon for years. Anyway, I ended up having to go elsewhere and have them try to fix my hair as best possible. It was very badly burnt and chunks had broken off. I can get witnesses to that. Please refund the perm and cut to my credit card. I ended up having to pay someone else to try and fix my hair. JC Penney customer service

I needed to go make a payment, I had a couple questions about the warranty I had gotten on my watch. They paged her to come help me and the first thing she said was, "you know you can go to another register if you need to do a payment." I know I could of went to another register, but I had questions over my watch. Normally I'm greeted with a "Hello, how can I help you today." I have always been treated with kindness at JCP, but this completely took my by surprise. Then treated me like a infant by trying to get me to insert my card as a chip when it did not have a chip. I expected more from JCPenney employees.

JC Penney $390.00 in value groupon

These glasses were absolute garbage. Supposed to be Progressive lenses but I never could see well out of them. No way was this almost $400 worth of prescription glasses. They made me pay $10.00 on top of the Groupon and I think $10 pretty much covered the value of the glasses. I had them just 3 months when I was cleaning them and they broke in half in my hands. Never had a pair of glasses do this and actually the $29.99 Foster Grants that I ordered from Amazon were much better quality. Took them back to Penney and they said I could buy a warranty program for $25 then pay $25 deductible for a new pair. What a scam, I will never buy anything at Penney s again.

JC Penney cyrena sales clerk at jcp-battlefield mall springfield, mo

I have never been so upset about an employee of a company in my life but at this point I am about to close my account and ask my parents, in-laws, and siblings to do the same and I come from a huge Catholic family. The YOUNG woman in the children's department at the Battlefield Mall in Springfield, MO has no business being in customer service and if I ever see her or if she is in the store when I am in there I will walk out and let everyone I pass know how I feel about her. She is rude, snooty, and loves to run her mouth about the people she is helping. I felt two inches tall when I left that store last night and I went to another register and the person was gracious and very helpful. It is employees like her that hurt a company.

JC Penney billing

Hello. My name is susan economon. On 11/26/2016 I ordered a washer and dryer. The order number was [protected]. The washer and dryer were delivered on dec. 12, 2016 and unable to get through my laundry room door because of the width of the washer. The samsung model had two attached handles that were just big enough to create the problem. This was not indicated in the specifications. So, they were sent back (Refused). I got on the phone and was on hold for exhorbitant amounts of time, including being disconnected. I was finally able to speak with an assistant who spent over an hour trying to reorder the two items as I had my door frame removed to allow the washer to fit. The new order number was [protected]

After this episode (Approximately dec. 14, 2016) I was rescheduled for delivery. This occurred on dec. 30 without incident except that I was not phoned the night before to tell me what time frame to expect.

I have been billed for 3 items. On dec. 12 and 14 I was billed for each unit. I have been billed a third time for one more unit. I called twice this morning and waited twice for nearly an hour before being disconnected.

I need my billing corrected, but can't get through to an assistant. Please advise. Thank you.

I purchased a dinette set with jc penny which no one bothered to tell me had been broken upon delivery to the warehouse for shipment. Upon asking why i had not received my merchandise, a gentleman in the furniture department where i ordered told me that when it was delivered it was damaged. I needed this set because i was hosting thanksgiving and my old table and chairs due to wear and tear had to be pitched. I ask for my credit card to be reimbursed because by the time a new set would arrive it would be past thanksgiving. I was told by him that it would be placed back on my card. Upon receiving my credit card statement, it showed that it never was credited back. I called numerous times and all i could get was music and no response. On a few times trying to speak with someone i would get a transfer and no one would answer or the phone would cutoff. I even waited as long as an hour or more for someone to answer in the furniture department and no one answered. I screenshot how long i would wait on the phone and the music would drive you insane while waiting. This began in october 2016 and still no results as of 14 jan 17. My intentions are to never purchase from jc penny online is never. If most or all of the customers are treated like this then they need to shut down.

JC Penney appliances

I ordered a oven hood from jc penny in riverdale (Coon rapids, mn). The charge for this occurred on 11/7. The appliance was delivered to my home but because I was in the middle of a whole kitchen remodel it was not installed. The remodel was delayed so it was not until today that the appliance was ready to be installed. When we opened the box we found that the color was wrong. I called the store and dennis in appliances has informed me that nothing can be done because of the time delay. When I purchased this product, for $480.99, no one from appliances was in the store so someone else help me place the order. I was not given a receipt as it was to come with the product when delivered. I was not told about this timeframe for a return. I am not asking for a refund. I am asking for the correct color in this product.

JC Penney samsung appliances: gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator

On Nov. 29, 2016, I ordered the appliances above. Very proficient and knowledgeable sales associate checked the availability and found that they were in the warehouse. Delivery was to be made on December 7 between 8 am and 12 pm. I received a telephone call from delivery around 9:30 am stating that I would not receive the appliances because they were not in the warehouse and that they would call me next week with a new delivery date. No call was received. I called and was told that I would receive appliances on Dec. 14 between 8 am and 12 pm. Again no delivery and call received on the day of scheduled delivery. I went into the store to speak with the associate who completed the sale, he called Samsung and was promised that the appliances would be in the warehouse and that I would receive them on Saturday, December 24. No phone calls or contact, no appliances. I contacted the MOD to cancel the order and he asked me to give them one more chance and that he would call me later that day with an explanation. Explanation was that two appliances were damaged and that they did not want to deliver a partial order but for sure appliances would be delivered on the 30th. The manager stated that he would contact me the next week before delivery to make sure--no contact! No contact from anyone during this entire month relative to this purchase. Spent 3 hours on phone trying to contact JC Penney Customer Service to cancel the order on December 30. Interestingly, I had to waste more time cancelling an order that I placed in the store. That night, I received a call from a delivery company stating that they would be at my home in 30 minutes with the appliances; I told them to take it back to the warehouse because I had cancelled the order earlier that day. Having been a customer for over 40 years, I am so disappointed with the lack of communication from all of the associates, etc., excluding the sales associates in appliances at JC Penney in McDonough, GA. Two times, I prepared my kitchen for delivery, removing food from refrigerator and freezer, clearing a path, etc. When I asked for what type of compensation would be made to me, I was told that Samsung would decide after delivery was made. What about JC Penney making some type of compensation?. After waiting for one month, i just went out on Jan 2 to shop for the appliances at another vendor.

JC Penney trying to exchange a sweatshirt

On January 1, 2017 I went into the Penny's store in Castleton.After finding the shirtvi needed to exchange, I had to find a cashier which was in household item.The cashier name was Melaine and she was excellent.Since this exchange was a gift I didn't have sells tag, only the other tag telling product name.Melaine try her best to find price since I had to get different shirt.She called twice for help and after 20 minute a lady came and was no help.Finally I offer to call the person who had given me gift and she was able to get them info from her sale reseat.This took over 30 minutes and we held up the line all this time.I don't understand why it took so, long and I had to solve the problem.JCPenny has really gone down in customer service.

JC Penney military discount

Hi. Yes I was in the new york city jcp store in the green acers mall in valley stream. I had made my purchase and. Getting ready to pay I had asked for a military discount the girl at the register said that jcp does not support the military so I had just asked the question because my military friends wanted me to find out. So I feel shocked a conglomerate of a store like jcp does not
Support the military of this great county. You need to look into this if this was an error on the employees part or she is going by your policy. Please look into this matter very disappointed.

JC Penney customer service

I went into the store at the eastern hills mall on transit in NY. I wanted to return son clothes I ordered online that were too small to my little brother. I expected to wait due to it being a week after Christmas but this was ridiculous. I went to a register to be redirected to online returns. The online returns had 1 cashier and 10 people in line. I had my 8 month old daughter with me and ended up waiting 20minutes before another cashier cam to help. The 2nd cashier ended up being a manager that was extremely rude. A gentleman asked to speak to a manager, she then replied I am. He said this store is run poorly. That he was sent to multiple registers before being directed to the correct one. She looked angry and said thanks for the complaint. After he left she called mw up and started my return. As she was processing her and the other cashier started talking inappropriately about the customer. She said she wanted to kick him in the shin and he was rude and didn't get the wait time and they laughed at him. I was shocked over the managers tone and actions. She said she was new manager there. She had short black hair and about 5'3. She should be reprimanded. Unacceptable. And I ended up waiting a total of 28 min to return the clothes because she didn't know how to use the computer.

JC Penney shape of the merchandise in store

December 28, 2016. I took my out of town guests to the store in Cedar Hill Texas to shop. I was in shock over the store's merchandise that looked like it had been thrown on a table. There was no way to see sizes or prices. The clothes were in shambles. As we tried to make our way to the children's department, I noticed several signs saying "door buster". I finally caught a male worker that told me the signs were just there they didn't mean anything. So why use them, cause there is no prices I was told.
This store is in a MESS ! This would not and should not be allowed. I think it's time management takes a look at this store.

JC Penney appliance

Cancelled an appliance order partially paid with a JCPenney gift card. Representative said the gift card balance will be refunded back to the same gift card. Checked the gift card weeks later still $0 balance. Then I got a check from JCPenney for the refund amount, deposited into the bank and guess what, it bounced and I am out $16 in bank fee. Call JCPenney appliance again, on hold for 60 minutes then got disconnected. Check the gift card balance still $0. The appliance department is such a mess that it should be shut down.
