Jack In The Box 3 months of complaints

San Antonio, TX 281/Evans store. Horrible, rude service. Cashier screamed at me to leave when I told her she needed customer service skills. Food was cold after 10 min drive thru wait! SIX calls to corp office in SAN DIEGO finally they told me they agreed to give me a refund but that's all. I assumed my hard work and valid complaints would merit a gift cert or free coupons to keep me as a customer. After schooling the area mgr on how exceptional customer service should be handled he said he can't give me any gift cards. I was in shock, I mentioned that a gesture of good faith to me would make me happy. He offered a $5.00 gift card. I was insulted, said FORGET IT, it's not the money, it's the principle. It's the fact that I had to almost beg him to offer me a gift card for all my troubles. I told him FORGET IT, I will not go back! After being a LOYAL customer for over 30 years this one time I complain, I get treated like I don't matter. EFF THAT CRAP! SCREW YOU JACK OFF INA BOX! I'm going to IN n OUT where the customer is always treated right!

Jack In The Box very very rude, cold food when asked for hot, sloppy order

I stopped at your store honestly because it was late (3am) and you guys were the only ones open. Well I placed a 20.19 order and asks if it could please be made fresh. While placing the order the order taker Lisa constantly cut me off and seemed very irritated. I apologized because my children were indecisive about the wait. 75% of my order was cold(tacos, eggs which were gray as well, my box burger was sloppy, and fries were cold. I talked to the gm the following morning about her attitude and how unwelcome she made me feel and he said he would put my name in the book and he would replace my order. Well tonight 11/23 approximately 10 mins ago I go to pick up my order. The same Lisa was there and wholeheartedly refused to replace my order demanding I let her know what was wrong with my order. I explained that I talked to him for 15 or 20mins and didn't have the time to explain to her Lisa. She was adamant about me answering her as if the conversation with me and the gm wasn't credible. I was embarrassed in front of my child the way she was talking to me. I would like the money for that order replaced back onto my card so that I don't ever have to face that lady again.

Jack In The Box rudeness

My friend and I went through the drive thru to order 20 tacos for my family and I. When I got the the window a worker asked the manager who the 20 tacos were for he responded "dos señoras grandes". My friend is fluent in Spanish and heard him. When confronted he said "no I was offering you free drinks" first of all we are two full white women and at that point he didn't know we understood Spanish so why would he have offered us two drinks in Spanish? When he realized he was caught in his lie he tried offering me all kinds of free food. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he then tells me he doesn't have one. I asked him why he didn't give me receipt and he goes "you didn't ask" how rude! I'll never be eating there again.

If your friend really knew Spanish she would not have been offended by what he said. You did not ask for a receipt so why should he give you one. He is not a mind reader. You and your friend claim you went to the drive thru but I wonder are you guys even old enough to drive? Also it is possible you heard wrong. I am sure you will not be missed

Jack In The Box badly managed

I work at Jack in the Box in Benson and it is the worst managed fast food restaurant I have ever been to. She doesn't know what she is doing. She picks these employees that get away with everything. She cant schedule. She lets her children back there. She takes whatever she wants. She texts her Employees when there is a problem in a really rude manner. I see people on day to day bases who do not wear gloves. They hardly wash their hands. Shift leaders text in Font of customers. Everyone is told something Different. She doesn't order her stuff right therefore causing a problem for all employees. Something should be done.

Jack In The Box fraud

Fraud!

Sat morning I stopped on the way to play golf and bought a breakfast sandwich and a milk. I discovered later that the cap on the milk had been opened, the aluminum "safety cap" was punchured and half the milk was gone!
Are you kidding me? Unbelieveable! What a scam!

They have lost this regular customer.

Jack In The Box harassment

I am scared to loose my job. I have children to support. I have been working at j.I.b for 5yrs with no poor performance. I have put the needs for the restaurant above my kids. Example :working holidays, birthdays. Coming in early staying late etc. I am a hard worker and continue to be bothered with we will fire you. You are replaceable. I have done nothing to deserve being belittled or treated unfairly. Another tl ot a pay raise for working nights I got 0. I had issues with employees they told me how to handle it then git upset when I did. They are trying to get rid of me and it hurts

Jack In The Box salad

I have made (2) attempts to contact the store and no answer. The salad I just pulled from my bag is despicable and I am concerned dangerous to my health. I have taken a photo on my cell phone to distribute. The carrots are liquid and the slime is all over the vegetables. The cucumbers look cooked they are so rank. Very upset as I do not have the option to return to store and get another selection as I am stuck at my office. Therefore, I do not get lunch! The product I picked up should NEVER BE GIVEN TO A CUSTOMER. I WILL NEVER GO TO ANOTHER JACK IN THE BOX IF QUALITY CONTROL ENDANGERS MY HEALTH! 12:55 pm ON 8/23/13 THE PURCHASE AND NO RECEIPT IN BAG. PAID BY CREDIT CARD. Furious and anyone looking at the attachment understands my pain.

Jack In The Box mis treatment

complaint: I work at jack box in citrus heights on antelope rd & sunrise I have a problem with manger sasha she never calls but texts when changing schedule once at 3am she called to tell me to come in an hour late instead of 9am 10am and another time to tell me not to come in but I did not receive text so by the time I was told I was already at work so unprofessional & the other day she told a co worker to tell me when I got to work that I am now not working today after all after I was already at work. If she knew ahead as she did why not call me ?she is very unprofessional and I believe owe's me 4 hrs of pay for days I showed up at work and wasn't told ahead of time, that's 2hrs for 2 days equal of 4 hrs.I is not business mannor or in good profession to text people the pr0pper thing to do is to pick up a phone and call and this way you both know the other has actually received your call or message. she is rude and doesn't know what she is doing she is very unprofessional at her job.

Also, check the labour laws in your state. In Ontario, for example, giving someone insufficient notice of a shift change or cancellation means an employer is obliged to pay a minimum amount of time (3 hours, IIRC.) Perhaps your state has a similar requirement.

Jack In The Box fraudulent gm

A team leader was talking to a crew member about finding another job while the gm was at the taco station, of course the gm overheard .but did not say anything . A couple hrs went by gettin close to 3 oclock the TL was scheduled to leavevat 4 to save labor the teamleader asked the gm if she could go home at 3 because labor was high . The gm told her no because she has to have a team leader scheduled 24/7 as the team leadrr turned to walk out the door the gm said to her what .you dont want to work here u dont want to be a TL anymore and before the TL could say anything the gm told her to get out and go home then about 35 mins later the gm calls the TL and tells her to come back so she does when she gets there the gm tells her to wait in the lobby . A short while after the gm comes with a write up form this TL is very good, kind always brings bags of candy for everyone in the morning .on the write up it says direct insabordination and nothing else the TL not knowing about write ups signs the paper which is then later filled out by the gm of the cause of the direct insabordination, which the TL and the employees agree never happened how would one go about bringing thisunjust GM to light. Cause I like my job but dontbwant to work for a GM like this...pllease help me with a solution

Jack In The Box offensive commercial

The new hot mess burger commercial with the girl raising her top to expose herself is offensive and shouldn't be shown in the middle of the day. They have crossed the line to inappropriate, especially for kids. Although, the girl doesn't show her breasts, the very implication is so blatant, it's offensive and shocking to me. If this commercial is going to run on broadcast TV, run it after 10pm or something. So disappointed in this company. They used to have funny commercials. Makes me sick.

As a Mother and Grandmother, I'm very offended by the recent commercial, "it's been four hours". It''s bad enough that we have to watch the commercial, for the real problem and medication, repeated over and over, any time of the day-a serious problem, not a joke, by the way-, so, using it to sell food is in extremely bad taste! The first time we saw it, my husband thought it was a cheesy, late nite ad, but, the next morning, there it was, again! When my grandchildren ask, "what are they talking about?", WHAT SHOULD I SAY? My first reaction was shock, not humor, and I will NEVER BE ABLE TO PASS A jACK IN THE bOX, MUCH LESS EAT THERE, WITHOUT REMEMBERING THAT TASTLESS, VULGAR, COMMERICAL! It's a sorry way to sell food, and I'm sure many more people feel the same way. I'm sure, like all the rest, you all think the shock factor is the way to get people's attention, but, THIS ONE HAS BOMBED!

The commerical where Jack's dad tell's his wife to call the doctor because it's been more than 4 hours and then looks down at his groin area is extremely offensive. Exactly how does that help sell their product? It make me nauseous and I won't be back to their place of business nor will a great number of people I've talked to. Come on Jack in the box get an advertising firm that will sell your food not ED medicine.

I hate the commercials all of them! The latest "NONOOKIE" commericial is highly offensive to me and my peers ...we have children and grand children ...and contrary to another comment about children should be out side...most of our children are inside during primetime watching tv with us as a family...not outside in the dark. We have as much right as anyone to NOT see this kind of SMUT flashed infront of us! We will start by not going to Jack in the box then we will write a letter to our local stations saying we won't watch if they continue to play this kind of CRAP! Then if that doesn't work we will petition and on and on til it is removed from our stations...this has worked in our favor as Christians in the past and we DO NOT wanna see it in the future...Put this smut on an all adult channel where people who like trash can enjoy it for what it is worth...but we are ALL entitled to decide for ourselves what we want to watch...not just the people who like it all.

I am sick to death of the cialis commercial on every evening newscast. As a Grandmother I'm all for my grand-kids seeing the news, but does a eight, nine, and ten year old really need to know about "E.D"? So it wasn't really a stretch to see Jack in The Box take off with it. My only question is, WHY? Is it really necessary? Our society has become so sexed up that you'd think it was the only thing of value worth living for. Unbelievable, and actually so so sad.

Very well put "happy birthday to me" and "Allan22". Just go back to 1982 Tab commercial. All I know is watching that as a kid I wasn't thinking about drinking a tab. Now there's a soft drink commercial using SEX to sell. Come on people, get over it and lets solve the more important problems of the world.

Jack In The Box abusive team leader

I work at the Jack in the Box (#6909) located at Jackson Downs on the edge of Donelson, Tennessee. 3133 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37214 (Tel:) [protected].

The team leader from second shift named Bridget Simons has been giving everybody working with her a very hard time. She's been complaining and making workers nervous and agitated into doing things wrong and calling the Supervisor Peggy and exploiting people's mistakes she has caused. She belittles people by hazing them in front of the other workers by saying they are "uncool" or stupid. Instead of being a true team leader or team player on the crew and helping out. All she does is complain. She does not jump in to help the workers. Furthermore, she's been using the Supervisor and making threats on everybody.

Co-workers are being turned against each other in fears of losing their hours. You are not allowed to hug and greet your fellow workers you work with because she said "if you do that, I will call Peggy and she will cut your hours!" And not one person can do all the work themselves. She broke the rhythm of how Jack in the Box is supposed to be. I watched the CBT training videos. It's alright to jump in if a fellow employee is busy making shakes or something. Then help out by giving the customer a ketchup or something. This team leader is the one running to god knows where and then letting the workers fend for themselves.

Briget has been there for almost a year, and today she typed up the order wrong on the screen. "Jumbo Jack, No Lettuce, Plus Lettuce" and runs off. When you try to find her to find out what the order is, she shows off her authority and yells at you in front of the drive thru customer "GET BACK TO YOUR STATION! YOU DON'T RUN UP HERE!" I was just trying to find her because she typed up the order on the screen. When I asked, she said she'll find out and it turns out she messed up. Some team leader she turned out to be. Then not only that, she recited the order fast. I heard her say "No ketchup, no lettuce." After I made a new burger, she said "No ketchup!" and made it out like I was a complete fool in front of everybody. (Sarcastically speaking) That shows team leader spirit right there.

Same night, she said that there was a secret "bogus" shopper that said someone didn't say something right (later this same night, I found out from the third shift team leader that what she said there was highly impossible. We already had a secret "bogus" shopper prior in the day already. It's not possible to get two in one day.) So back to the issue, she said that we "all had attitudes and she doesn't care anymore, she said she said things to us and taught us stuff and all that and if we don't do it, we should all get fired." And she kept nagging at all of us, one of my other fellow coworkers had a customer that said to her "I'm so sorry you all have to work with 'the [censored]' (Bridget) because you all are doing your job the way you are supposed to." This customer was waiting there yeah, for the order and saw everything from beginning to end how hard we were working and there was no attitude because we didn't refuse to do any of the work. I'm suprised and glad to see a customer say that.

Also on this evening, I suspect that some of the customers weren't real customers either. They were her friends she told to come in and order a few items and set us up to look stupid. (Photo attached below, I only have two customers on camera, there were three. Notice how she gets to pull up the chair and sit oddly?) In this order, the customer ordered Bacon Cheddar Fries. So like always, I make it exactly how the procedure is, melt a bacon cheddar set up and pour it over regular French Fries and I put it in the take out window. I did it just like always. And then, these customers, purposely let it sit. Then when they open it, they return it to get a new box. Then Bridget gave me the look and asked "Who made this? And would you eat it?" It didn't look like that when I made it fresh. It didn't. So somebody else made another box and she made it out like I was incompetent. How does that hurt my morale? A lot.

Same night, our store was low on stock with stuff. One of my co workers ran to the back to get chicken strips and I didn't even see her. I was busy cooking and the next thing you know. Bridget throws a fit and yells "YOU ALL ARE SO BUSY PLAYING THAT YOU AREN'T GETTING ANYTHING DONE!" Playing? What playing? I'm busy trying to get the orders she stacked up on all of us out and orders she didn't do like how the Supervisor to push out first. She did it on purpose because she knew it would kill the cooks. There was also another point where I told the fryer cook to handle the "Jumbo Breakfast Platter" because there was no more "Southwest Salads". This fryer cook is her favorite right now and she didn't get yelled at. She was supposed to put the hashbrowns (fryer item) into the platter and serve it, she didn't have to. Bridget actually took it out and blamed me though earlier she told me to stay at the cook station. Amazing. She's playing favorites I suppose.

There was a major flock of Fajita Pita orders and she purposely typed them funny like
Fajita Pita, no tomatoes
Jumbo Cheese
Fajita Pita, no tomatoes

2 Fajita Pita

Fajita Pita

I could barely cook it out and I still had to. And later I found out that she set it all up that way... these were all on drive thru and I had to take care of the orders on Front Counter as well. And later, she admited she thought it was funny and she "was glad she's not in the back making those orders." That's not funny. She was laughing and enjoying it all. What kind of team leader does that to workers? And she singled me out like I'm a black sheep at work.

Other times, she likes to point people out for unprofessionalism but she's the one. She stands there and she starts talking about liking this black customer that comes in. Comments that his legs are sexy, and how she likes black men. She gets to go out for a smoke. I can't even go pee. She rushes me so bad that one time I did forget a spicy chicken. She said "Fast. Fast FAST!" I can't even take an extra five seconds to check my order. And no, I'm not super human and if people stack all these orders on me. I admit I can't do them all. I doubt she can either. But she is sure the one to talk. They have this cook-to-order rule and they expect everything to be super fast. That's amazing. Because through alot of research asking all other workers that are veterans, they say it's impossible. I'm such a loser right? I'm doing research by asking other people and all of them are saying tried and true things for me, she isn't. She's lying. She even said it once herself. "It is possible for one person to do 8 on 8 both 5 and 7 position" when everyone else, including CBT said it's not.

On Monday, November 26, 2012. Bridget had put her cellphone on the clipboard on top of the rice paddle box between the rice cooker and it got busy. She disappeared to the back as usual and we have a new trainee on the team who is a minor, only 16 years of age. The trainee was looking for the team leader while this man was standing in front of the fryer fridge and the little girl was avoiding the man and she hit the table and the phone and clipboard fell. The screen cracked and Bridget got really mad and started cussing out loudly and openly. She said that someone broke the phone and needed to replace it. Then she also said that she was ###ing mad. Then later, she announced that "the phone had a cracked screen and that whoever it is, is going to get it and that this person had barked up with the wrong ###". The little girl was very scared and the two other coworkers had told on the girl. The girl wondered if she would lose her job with me and I said "Nobody loses their job over a cellphone". Now, days later. This minor who was supposed to be front counter/drive thru was put in the back where I was to make sandwiches as punishment. That's right! She was de-ranked and put to the back. And when I saw the girl again, she didn't want to work with Bridget and she said "Bridget has no right to do what she is doing."

So that's a few things to name that's been going on at this Jack in the Box. And these events have shown to me why we are short on help. A few people quit and some got terminated. And it would explain why I made it into the store even without a real blink of an eye really. Explains a lot. Bridget explains she's bi-polar. That doesn't give her anymore right to exist than anybody. She has no right to cuss us out and treat us less than people just because. And if she's crazy, then she shouldn't be working and she should be inside a mental institution and recover. It's not the work environment we all thought it would be because of her. She's always lying, making up excuses herself and making it harder on other people. Living off people's pity and charity. She said to me before November 27, that it was her son's birthday. Then yesterday, she said that December 7, was her son's birthday and it was so sad how she couldn't be there on his birthday. And I don't even know if she's truly bipolar or just evil. I'm set up to work till 11pm and I have to be at work at 11:30am the next day. If she's got the brains to set that up and threaten people. I don't know if she's really bipolar or methodical and the US government is wasting fundings on people like her.

Would you people like to eat at this crazy Jack in the Box and does anybody think anyone will read this report and do something about it because she calls Peggy all the time and I don't think anyone can help us. My hours are slowly being cut too. I don't have anywhere else to go. Help me please! Somebody help me.

Jack In The Box 5 family members working at the same restaurant.

I'm a worker at jack in the box. The reason for my complaint is that there are five family members working at the same restaurant. It's the mom, two son, one daughter, and the daughter in law. I don't know if this is possible. The thing here is that the manager rosa class is giving them all the good hours. The mom is always in the office with the manager talking bad about all the employees. She bearly works. The son which is a team leader is commiting fraud. I think someone should put a stop to all this.

Jack In The Box I am offended by their commercials

I think your TV commercial where they are playing scrabble is very inappropriate and children do not need to see it! It is pretty bad you have to stoop to such a low level putting sex related messages in your commercials! I am offended and i am sure other people are also.

Jack In The Box drive thru window rude employee

The drive thru “JACK IN THE BOX “employee was very unfriendly. I gave her the order and she did not respond. No acknowledgement by the jack in the box employee. My daughter gave her the order the second time. You’re “Jack in the Box” employee "YOLOVE" responded "You do not need to shout at me". This is the start of "JACK IN THE BOX" RUDE, LACK FRIENDLY OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND TOO BUSY AND DON'T BOTHER ME ATTITUDE". I drove to the pick-up window and "YOLOVE" employee attitude did not change. I gave her my debit card and as I reached for the "JACK IN THE BOX RECIEPT" she responded not to snatch it out her hand. At that time my daughter panicked got out of the car and left the site. Going to "JACK IN THE BOX DIVE THRU" is highly dangerous, not family friendly, and too busy for proper customer service. Recommend adjustment to your employee and staff regarding your company values and customer service.

I was recently at a local jack 'N the box in pflugerville the one right of Fm 685. I went threw the drive threw and some guy named Jacob took my order i had to tell 3 times what i wanted and then i had to wait in line for about 10 min. The only thing the guy in front of me had was a freaking shake. When i pulled up to the window he seemed VERY RUDE to be a manger. It took almost another 5Min just to gt my order and when he gave me my order i was checking to make sure everything was in the bag and he just starred me down until i drove off i was VERY unsatisfied and will not be coming back to this location.

Jack In The Box drive through scam

I had went to jack in the box store number 0399 in arroyo grande, ca and has gone through the drive threw and has a horrible experience. I loved going there before since it was one block from, my, home, but after this i wont be goin back. The lady who was.working drive threw had forgotten my a few items i ordered, and while i was orderi.g told me, “were really husy right now so i cant take that many orders.” I was just truing to order food amd was told i couldnt.i personally would like a refund or something in reenbursment of my unsatisfying visit.

It has become the standard operating procedure for Jack in the Box Management in the Sacramento area to steal from their customers. Yes, it is theft when you intentionally serve products without items that are listed on the menu. Management has instructed the employees to only put a partial piece of cheese on the sandwiches. The Sourdough Jack is advertised to include 2 slices of swiss cheese and 3 pieces of bacon. What has been instructed is to only put 2 half pieces of bacon & only a 1/2 to 3/4 slice of cheese.

When asked about this, I am told that it is now required to do this as a food cost cutting measure. This is done with an attitude the customer doesn’t deserve what they pay for. I wonder if this is the same attitude from the franchise owner had when he stole millions of dollars in sales & employee taxes from California.

The commercial with Jack talking to some woman, assuming it's his wife, playing scrabble and the words "No Nooky" is disgusting...Hello, what in the world are you thinking. I have talked to so many of my friends and they have decided to tell their friends and we have decided to not partake of ANY JACK IN THE BOX RESTAURANTS. The commercial is wrong. Hello, young children have been asking what's nooky. Hello, you might be in California where that's acceptable but in Texas, it's not appropriate. Why those words. Used to like Jack in the Box, but now I don't. Please take that particular commercial off the air. You have better commercials than that. You should be ashamed of yourself for thinking that this is appropriate wording on a scrabble game when children can see it and ask what it is.

The franchise owner must be very cheap. I heard he filed for bankruptcy some years ago and had to pay his employees in cash! He owns 80 stores in calufornia and a few Wendys. Rumor has it team leaders only get pay 8.50/hour. Assustant mgrs get 9/hour and store managers max out at 2, 500/month. All of this was told to me by a somebody who use to work there. Other JUB thats corporate or is franchised by a different owner pays their workers well. most JIB is severely understaffed which explauns the long drive thru wait, horrible employee attitude and awful service overall. They want to save cost of labor so they have say 3 employees workibg instead of 5/6. I love the food when its fresh and hot. They need seriuos improvement ASAP!

Jack In The Box customer service

This started out, and still is, such a MINOR problem that could have SO easily been resolved, but instead has turned into a million hoops that I have had to jump through, and still have not gotten, a refund for flippin onion rings. It is very simple, I went through the drive-thru, made an order, and got everything except my onion rings. I realized it when I got home, and the nearest Jack in the Box is almost 10 miles away, I go every Saturday after a class I take across town. I figured, no big deal, I'll just call and ask for them to refund my card for my $2.19 plus tax. Should be no problem. But holy moly, it was. First I called the phone number to the store on my receipt... 4 times over the course of a few hours. No one ever picked up the phone, it would just ring and ring and ring. I really didn't want to complain on their website over something so trite, but I could not get ahold of anyone at the store so I did. I clearly stated that I was not upset and they were slightly busy when I went there so I understand, but I didn't receive my onion rings and when I tried calling the store numerous times with no answer, I went to the site, so I am requesting a refund. I included my last 4 digits of my credit card, my order number, receipt and store number. Should have been everything needed to get my $2 back. On Monday, I got a voicemail on my phone from a man that did not state his name but said he was the store manager and to call him back concerning my visit so we could talk about what happened. I was mildly annoyed because, I don't want to talk about what happened, because I clearly told you all what happened and what I want, just a $2 refund! I work 8-5 M-F so it is not very convenient for me to sneak in a phone call at work over $2. But whatever, the next day I called the store, and this time someone answered who told me they were the store manager. I told him I was returning yesterday's phone call, and he said that he had no idea who called me but it wasn't him, that there was a different manager coming in tomorrow and the next day, so to try back everyday until I reach the one who called. I explained my situation to him, hoping again that a simple refund of $2 would be no problem. He said that for a refund of any kind I have to go through corporate. I asked how do I do that, and he said 'hold on' for a minute, then came back and said that the store maybe could do it, but again I'd have to keep calling to find out what manager called me, then schedule a time from M-F 8-5 to physically go back to the store, and talk to them and then they could issue the refund. So let me get this straight, I have to take off of work to drive 10 miles to talk with you about not getting my onion rings, after calling everyday to find out who first called me, all for $2? Yeah, right. I emailed the website one last time explaining my frustration, said to forget the refund, close out my complaint, and that none of this was worth $2. Then today, I got another voicemail, this time from a woman who could not have sounded more annoyed and angry that she was calling me. Her words were, "We have repeatedly tried contacting you, and all we ever get is your voicemail, and the manager that I talked to said that he mailed you a coupon for free onion rings, so I don't know what you are still wanting but if we could actually talk to you this might get resolved". OMG really? I didn't want a coupon, I didn't want to call and talk to anyone, all I wanted was my TWO DOLLARS REFUNDED TO MY CARD. I have never found it so difficult to get what I am clearly stating what I want. Ridiculous. I will eat the $2 just to stop this nonsense.

Jack In The Box spanish speaking workers in fast food

I go to the Jack in the Box on Camp Wisdom and Orreio in Duncanville, Texas. store # 188. This store stands out because there are no other nationalities but Spanish working there. Really! No matter what time of day or night there is a person there who just speaks enough English to say HI.. ask for your order.. (number), take your money, mumble something like thank you? I am not some one who discriminates, I am a women that has Black and Native American decent.

I am always glad to see any one who lives here in the U.S. legally wants to work and support themselves or their family however, this is a big problem when Americans can not get work because stores like this one who only hire friends and family is making sure that you have to not just speak Spanish but you got to be Spanish to work at what so called an American based food chain in America. This is not right and Americans need to wake up and see whats really going on!

I agree with you. All I have seen recently at Jack in the Box are Hispanic workers. Yes I believe everyone should work for a living if able, but for any company to hire predominately Hispanics or any other race is racist. I know several people who say they will no longer bring their family to Jack in the Box anymore, for this reason and many more. Even workers that I know who have left their employment at Jack in the Box will no longer eat there. That says a lot!

Jack In The Box is customer king??? not here says a biker

On the 13th November 2011, being a cold night at 10.30PM and hungry I skipped a number of busy fast foods for Jack in the Box on Harbor Blvd and Baker St. It was completely deserted with no customers or drive through vehicles about. I was riding my bike.I am a foreigner just recently arrived to California. It has a sign that says open late. I tried to enter the fast food but it was closed. A female supervisor and her male colleague were inside and after knocking on the door I was told that the main door was closed but the drive through was open. I figured that since I was on a bike I may just go through the process as a car. So I went through the motions and got to the microphone -speaker. I greeted the staff and made an order repeatedly but there was no acknowledgement. After 2 minutes I went by the window on the side where they serve the customers. The female supervisor was aware I was within the precincts but chose to ignore me. So I asked if I may get some food. She shouted back from across the room that they are not allowed to serve bikers. There was no courteousness or understanding/patience to hear me out. If she were patient she would have noted I was a foreigner from my accent and confusion. Just for a mention her male colleague seemed composed and willing to explain or serve. All in all, I read the small notice posted on the window bottom and was left bewildered. How would I have known? Down the road In N OUT happily served me their tastiest double burgers. From hindsight, the lady's arrogance and don't care attitude left a bad taste in my mouth and I will never visit another Jack in the Box. Whatever happened to basics - customer is King?

Jack In The Box horrible service

My daughter and I decided to order at the drive through today (Sun 9-25-11) at Jack in the Box. At 1st I thought the yelling at the other end of the drive through speaker was a technical issue... but when I was cut off before finished ordering, and rudely yelled at "I know!" when I asked for ranch with my mozerella cheese sticks instead of marinara sauce... (how she knew, I don't know). (The cheese sticks were for my daughter and I glanced at her after the yell- she looked as if she was being yelled at.) Anyway, I was cut-off, yelled at, and told to drive forward... and had not finished ordering. When I got to the window (the receipt says Selina) Selina was huffing and puffing and grabbed for my card & gave me my 2 bags and slams the drive through doors! I looked in them (I'm thinking she might be having a bad day, so I'm trying to smile & be polite).. I wait for her to come back and after the slamming I've lost my smile, but I'm nuetral in tone. She says, huffing, "What ELSE do you want?" I replied, "I asked for ranch with the chicken and the mozerella- instead of marinera." I handed her the 2 marinera and she grabbed them, threw them somewhere and handed me 2... then slammed the window again. That's when I realized I never got to order my daughters' smoothie (cuz I was cut off) and I didn't ask for the amount of ranch she likes... more than 2 for lg crispy chicken and lg mozerella sticks. I understand having a bad day... the drive thru had maybe 4 cars (mine was the 3rd) and the parking lot had mayyybe 3. I thought I was a nice customer, but I won't be back.

Jack In The Box get it together or get sued

Jack, you're killing me... And not the way I want you to either, by over-indulging in your super unhealthy and greasy food. Today is already crap because its the 10th anniversary of 9/11/01, a sad day indeed. So I go to try and get my favorite snack: bacon cheddar potatoes with sour cream. The first J in the B had NO SOUR CREAM, which I've ran into before today... So I opted to go to another Jack that was on my way home. This one forgot to pit bacon on the potatoes, so I just had a big glob of cheese with no bacon on them... The worst part being that I didnt realize until I got home, and dont see the point in trecking back for bacon bits. You also have an employee at your J in the B in Lake Stevens, Wa who always hits on customers, steels from the register, and does drug deals out of the drive thru. He says stuff you can be sued for, so you should really pay more attention to your restaurants.
Thanks,

Jacked on 9/11/11

Nope. They are the ones tweaking. I wrote this on my phone sothe grammar and spelling are not perfect... They are really disrespectful, And no, its not worth me suing them, i just stated that they hire employees who do and say things that could get them sued... If the employee did it to the wrong person. Typing on this board was a big enough waste of time for me, courts and lawyers are not my thing.
Peace Y'all

Perspective- You mention 9-11 'a sad day' and then you start complaining about Jack in the Box messing up your order. Maybe a plane will hit you and somebody else will have a bad day. This person will need a big mac. I shudder just thinking of the mistakes McDonalds would make.
