Izzonet.com review: They are gone. 39

I used the 15 day trial from Izzonet.com and loved them. I purchased a month for $99. Half way into month one got a call stating a "Deal" of $300 for 6/mos. plus one extra. So, I said $200 more and I get 7 months? They said yup, I was in! Just days after, they are gone. They haven't responded to any of my emails.

Izzonet is a pure scam, I hosted my website, spent months after months doing webdesign on it, and they suddenly just vanished overnight.

Hi all,
I'm Yara from Dubai, I was scammed as well by izzonet. I am 19 years old running a small business to help me paying off my university. I told them this as well but they seem heartless! anyway I paid them around 800$ and spent so much time that I had to spend studying on editing the website. and all of sudden I lost everything. I don't know what to do, where to complain and how to do that! I don't know if that is going to cost me any money. I've lost so much and can't pay more people! kindly if there's anyone here going to raise a case please put my name next to yours. I don't have any money to pay for cases please understand me. I promise to pay it back if I could and as soon as possible. please friends understand me, I'm paying so much for my university. here in Dubai there's nothing called education loan or whatever, nothing helps but working and its so much expansive! kindly do something and help me and I promise to give it back as soon as I can. please consider me as a little sister of yours. thanks in advance to whoever read this and understood my situation even if you don't help but at least you understand me :)

'Your Humble Servant' If you and your team were fired suddenly one day by Izzonet then why are you being so humble and sweet to them. You should idealy be as angry and frustrated as we are. I am sure, you are trying to cover up for them, so that this thread can have some positive reviews about Izzonet. But sorry to say, they have duped all of us. And Tallya and team are so going to burn in hell.

I think Elliot Jaffe might be the third co-founder or at least was high up as investment manager.

I'm thinking this is an elaborate scam and we've all been screwed. The more I look into this, the more dodgy connections pop up: e.g. Tallya Rabinovich's connection with this: http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-10-inch/117611-elektronic-mart-2.html

How do we contact these people to hold them responsible for the damage they have done by scamming us and destroying our businesses?

I've found these details on LinkedIn, and am recording them before these izzonet execs delete them further. Izzonet was founded by Tallya Rabinovich and Amit Udai, along with one other.

Tallya Rabinovich: no contact details, now a micro venture capitalist - beware of scams small business owners, as she lists her address as Westminster Abbey. Clearly fraudulent behaviour. She appears on various online journals etc - if any of these are genuine perhaps they would give her contact details out?

Amit Udai: now works at IS search team, maybe they have contact details?

Roi Raibstein: now co-founder of Digital Talent Agency, contact him there?

Niv Boukobza: ?

Alexander Goldstein: now a developer at Genieo Innovation, contact him there?

Anyone got any ideas on how we get our money back. I'm UK based, anyone else?

You humble servant - if you have also been mistreated by the people running izzonet who fired you on the spot, could you provide contact names and details for the CEO, executive staff, managers and other staff responsible for this? That way we can sue them for damages arising from breach of contract and lost earnings consequential on that.

I am also an izzonet customer - was satisfied with the support 24/7, but have now lost approx £300, possibly my domain name, all the goodwill I had built up online for my business and am still losing business as I cannot replace my website without access to my domain name. Disgraceful.

Hello, i was part of the support staff in Izzonet and have probably spoken to most of you in chat, just stumbled across this thread and thought id contribute some information. Since some of you have chosen to direct your anger and frustration not at the company or the management, but at specific members of the support staff by publicly throwing wild accusations and tarring their names, i shall remain incognito...

Bear in mind that as a support representative i wasnt privy to the "upstairs" talks and decisions so what i know is very limited.
A week or two after the release of the new platform, the whole of the support staff including myself simply received a phonecall from our manager, saying that the company is struggling and will no longer be able to sustain a 24/7 support staff, or any for that matter. The whole support team was fired just like that, out of the blue, without even the ability to get back to the office once and notify anyone. We instantly lost access to our @izzonet.com email accounts. That happened around 2-3 months ago.
A week or two after that we heard that the rest of the employees were fired, and the company itself closed shop.

Why they did not choose fit to notify the clients is beyond me...
From my experience with the company i can say that the intention was never to scam anyone or lie, sadly from what i read so far thats what they ended up doing by not refunding you guys.

Im afraid thats all i got, i saw the myizzonet.com website is still up and running, but at this point there shouldnt be anyone left behind it.

As to the support staff, contrary to JMC22, while you got some of our names wrong, our personal facebook / linkedin accounts are still very much online and active, all we did was remove izzonet from our "occupation" field, and while i cant guarantee you a "friends" invitation, we are not hiding. We have nothing to hide...
I have personally had several former izzonet customers contact me for information.

Wishing you the best of luck in whichever course of action you choose to take.

I spoke to someone who quit working at IzzoNet some time before the company closed. Apparently they they didn't mean to harm their customers, but this is what happened due to lack of organization and careful planning. From what I have heard, it was never an intention of theirs to harm their customers, in fact they always seemed to put the customers first. Nevertheless, this is the situation now, and it is not right that we have lost our money for service we paid for.

Everything was fine until 4 days ago.. then I couldn't get the support and it went to BOLDCHAT. Then Friday - nothing. I spent the last three weeks working on the site to enhance it and now it i all gone. Most significant is that all of our customer emails and contact information on the izzonet site are also gone without warning. ...ER

So, what are we all going to do? Does anyone have any ideas? This is why these ### companies can keep cheating us out of our hard earned money. In requesting a refund from paypal, they said they could only give me 1/2 back since they did provide SOME service. I said you are going to let them keep 1/2? OF COURSE they will just keep changing names and doing this again. I asked Paypal, I said "if I sign up 1, 000 customers for a year of support on all computer issues, and it's $99.99 for this support. If I fumble around for a month and finish the first month and bounce, and dump my company, that if people call to get their $100 back, because I supplied 1/12 of the service, the most these people are going to get back is $50.00 meaning I have $50x1000 ($50, 000) 50k for ONE MONTH of shoddy work? So, all I need to do is change my website name and do the same thing again? Wow. And Paypal doesn't care or the FTC or the BBB. Just keep bleeding us dry? What a crock. And these izzonet fools had the gall to email me and say if I pull all my complaints, they will refund me $300. LETS DO SOMETHING

I have also been scammed by Izzonet. They sent me an email stating that they were closing down or re-structuring their org. However when I asked for my refund there was no response. Also they now have a new website call myizzonet.com Looks like they are still in the business but to rip off new innocent web customers. Apparently all the team members namely (don't know if they really exist in person) Maria, Vakho, Guy Bibi, Ran, Mor Liem have taken down their facebook accounts as well. They were earlier very much active. Even Izzonet.com is no more on social networking sites. It's yet another money-making scam. Hope the Better Business Bureau is able to trace them. This is not done and they shall repent very soon.

JMC22, Did you ever get any money from Izzonet for settlement? I would not trust them.

B0nsai, we have dealt with the same people. They are probably some of the same people over and over. The files they offered you are useless and won't work since they were built on Izzonet Platform and won't be compatible with other systems, even if you purchase another domain. Izzonet offered us the same thing to remove our complaint.

Here is the same email we got from Izzonet

Hello

Hope this email finds you well,

Izzonet worked with Investors, unfortunately one of our big investors didn’t respect his contract, so we are doing reorganization.

We saw that you post complain on Scam Book, please take it down and we are willing to provide you with the entire files of the design that you can use them anywhere.

Please respond that we can move forward with this.

Thank you

All,
Here is the latest status from the BBB below. They have not heard anything from Izzonet. I'm not surprised.

B0nsai, the design files from Izzonet will be useless because they were designed to run on their platform. It won't be compatible with other platforms, even if you can buy a new domain from Go Daddy or someone else. We need to get together and start a class action lawsuit. We dealt with the same names Maria, Maor, Guy, Ran, Jennifer, and Vahko. These are probably the same people over and over. I never was sure who I was dealing with most of the time. They had a Florida number but that's is just a route through. A lot of them are in Israel...who know could be somewhere else.

JMC22, did you receive any money from them? Remember, these people are complete liars so don't trust them.

Here are all the email names I have encountered:

These people don't use real names so you'll never know who you are talking to. I bet Mor Friedman is Maor Liel who happened to be the customer service manger. And Maria Vasilevsky could be Tallya Rabinovitch. We're dealing with a legit business here so everything is questionable.

All,
We have filed a complaint against Izzonet with the Better Business Bureau. They have told us that they contacted Izzonet without any response. It has been a couple weeks. The BBB people advised us to also contact the Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Services, and the local Attorney General Office, which is where we're going next in addition to a lawsuit to recover our loses. I encourage all the victims of this Izzonet scam to do the same. I have provided some contact information below. They cannot get away with this and we don't care if they are in Israel. Let's get together and stop these scams.

I have the same problem too, i have paid around $800 to sign up for a year as a part of a "package."
However, its been around 2 weeks since i have heard from them and i cannot contact them via phone, email or anything else!
I was just about to launch my website and was just waiting for them to finish developing my countdown timer, which was supposed to be ready in December. I think they are a scam. If anyone is in Florida please go see them and find out what is going on!

Hello - I would have to disagree. In fact I am one of the testimonials on their website so no they don’t make them up. I am a genuine online merchant. Other than the entire izzonet going down a few days ago I have not had any problems and think they are very competitively priced. I uploaded my data feed myself and it all worked ok. There was a few hiccups but I actually worked it out myself and yes it was tedious but I did have to enter some details manually. I sympathise with Izzonet because datafeeds can be complex and there is no magic wand ! But yes other sites can probably spend more time getting your data feeds right but I bet you have to pay for their time. I've contacted their 24 hours support chat many times and they are great. I'm going to stay with them because my store works fine and I get lots of orders. I suspect the lack of technical support of late that you mention may be in relation to new software I think they are working on. Anyways, reading the comments above ... that would frustrate me too, but so far so good. Thanks, Nigel Santen

We had the same problem.. All of a sudden no support. Not able to reach them via phone, email, facebook.. anything. We actually did an emergency cutover to another software package to SAVE our business. We went with Izzonet on December 30, 2012. Nothing but a nightmare.. All data uploaded waw messed up.. Their database is not setup correctly. If you import customers, products, etc.. it creates duplicate records, can't delete any duplicates in customer master. Newsletter sending will take up to 24 hours. Emails started comming in jumbled and bouncing back to users, users not getting our emails. Had users contact my personal email to advise me. Then on Feb 27th we started getting serious database errors to where customers could not check out at all. We did an emergency cutover to BigCommerce and what a difference! Started on Wed 27th was live by 10pm on March 2nd. Sales for 3 days were higher than the last 10 days on Izzonet. We took months to build our business and get a good clientele and it was wiped out in a matter of days with this HORRIBLE software! Technical support was aweful! RUN! RUN! RUN! I would not recommend anyone purchase this software. They are a complete SCAM!

Our trouble is a little more serious. We signed a contract withe theem to develop a custom online store. They took our money $750 for half of thee payment to start thee design and we would pay thee remaining $750 upon completion. We spent a ton of money and efforts working thee website look and feel. They kept promising us theat it would be ready in 4 weeks. Well four weeks turned into 4 monthes and notheing is ready. Finally theey, Maor Liem thee izzonet rep., told us theey would deliver a full working website on Feb. 15the 2013...guess what, notheing. Now theey would not answer email and cannot be reached by phone. This is a scam. We are looking to take thee matter to court to seek $10, 000 in damage. We worked withe thee sales rep called Maria and thee customer service manager, Maor. These people are liars and con artists. Avoid theem or you will loose your money. Oh, and theeir tools are not robust eitheer. They messed up all our imported data theat cost us theousand of dollars to fix. All thee positive reviews you read about theem are scams as well. They probably had theeir people wrote it. Stay away from theem.
