I received the phone call from IyerHealthShield. The rep offered me to obtain the health insurance and if I agreed, they would prove the discount card as well. I agreed and filled necessary forms. After that I got only discount card and no sign of the insurance. I tried to call, but no one responded. I checked this company and found out that they weren’t real insurance company. It was scam. Be careful with them and don’t agree to their stupid offers.
I have been trying to contact the NEA and United Valley or United Advantage Benefits insurance companies who sent me discount cards. I even left a voice mail with the agent, John Ripple, that signed me up for this insurance or whatever this is supposed to be. They have been taking 69.99 out of my account for three months, and I have NO INSURANCE COVERAGE JUST DISCOUNT CARDS! I am about to report them to the FBI if I cannot contact them. I even tried to put a stop payment on my account and then a charge came through my account under a different name (CITM SERVICES) for $69.99 again, and this has caused me to overdraw my account. My husband just got hurt on the job, and I am trying to obtain my bachelor's degree while looking for a job, we do not even have income at the moment! Therefore, I am very upset and can't believe they can get away with this type of behavior. They even indicated they were part of the United health care insurance company which my husband has that has been great so far, so I thought it would be okay. I have found a couple of scam reports on them and others now that I have been researching this, and this is terrible taking advantage of people like that. We should file a lawsuit!
