unauthorized transaction
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 62 votes
Company information:
IW/Living Lean in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, Nevada
United States

I ordered from Wui Tea, returned the product and received a refund. I now have an unauthorized (signature based POS) transaction for $19.95 from the above company. Based on web research, apparently these 2 companies are connected. I know nothing about this company and never ordered or authorized them to debit my account. Wui Tea is nothing but a scam.

I called Wui Tea & requested that my name be removed from their order list. They complied for 1 month. Today I received my visa statement & found they had again debited my account for 19.95!! I am furious. What are people doing to keep this from happening?

Thank you for whatever tips you can give me.

I have had an identical experience, charges for 19.95 appearing for something I know nothing about, and certainly I am not receiveing any service or product for the charge. You are best to stear clear of the tea, besides Wu-Yi Source Authentic Chinese Tea tastes just like the local tea at the resturant, nothing special here. Don't waste your time or money.

I was shocked by this charge as well. I'm livid, to say the least. What a bunch of crap. Searching through my Gmail, I can't see a single email from them with a link or something to cancel this 'Living Lean' that I'm paying for... What am I paying for exactly here?

What a bunch of crap.

Ditto...nothing but a scam...Can't get in touch with the Living Lean in Las Vegas.

I got the phone number for this company so that you can cancel the subscription that you didn't sign up for (just like me). Unfortunately, I have to pay the 1st charge of $19.95, but no more after that.

Make sure you are patient and wait to speak to someone. It didn't take me long and they will try to talk you out of it, don't let them. No offense intended, but they do employee people who do not speak clear English, so pay attention to everything they say. Also, make sure you get a name and a confirmation number from them.

Hope this helps.

Same thing happened to me, i sent back the tea and received my refund, only to find they debited my account from las vegas living lean, which when i did research, is the same thing as wuyi tea. Dont know if i can get a refund but im certainly going to try. I am also furious, and im also going to my bank tomorrow and make sure this does not happen again. What can we do to keep this from happening to others? Thanks for the phone #, i will be calling it tomorrow. Kathy.

I am having the same problem and short of freezing my checking account I don't know what to do. They have taken $19.95 out of my account three months in a row.

Living Lean 866-396-5711
WUY Tea 866-449-5567

Call these customer service numbers to cancel

you must mail the tea back to get any refund

living lean is the support group for the dieter a separate corp which no one seems to know anything about until they get a charge on their credit card.

Get a confirmation number when you call to cancel.

I just canceled and returned the WuY Tea and on my latest statement saw the IW/Living Lean charge of $19.95 which I knew nothing about. I saved all the emails from WuY Tea acknowledging the cancellation and return of that tea. I am getting my credit card company to block this from happening again.

Im having the same problem. I stopped payment and had the bank stop any other payments from my account. The bank will only stop the charges for 6 months so besure check you account statements regularly. They say that you can contact them at any time but you can't. So you have to call at normal business hours.

This is just plain theft. TAKING money from my account without my permission is THEFT.
This has continued to create a big problem for me and I am looking into how to stop this.

I receive a monthly charge of $19.95 for the IW/living lean and did not order or authorize . How to I get rid of this charge since no contact number is given on my credit card statement? I have been billed for this amount since March 2008.

called in March and cancelled this and told them that I never ordered this and didn't know anything about it. But it was never canceled I kept being charged for it. So I called today and talked to a supervisor at the Living Lean. He supposibly stopped the charges to my account and will refund me for the last 2 months charges. So we will see if it happens.

This is the number that I used to call them. So good luck

I too ordered the tea and was charged 4.95 for shipping, only to find an additional 29.99 charged to me. Then today I find i am charged 19.95 for this living lean that i knew nothing about, I called the number posted and supposedly will be taken off the list and refunded, but will contact my bank and stop further payments just to make sure, and the tea isn't all that great anyway.

Today I just found a pending charge from Living lean of $19.95, when I was done with this company since March 1, 2008. I bought their tea and then I cancel the membership. I also think this people are a scam. Don't buy the tea, at all.

the same thing happened to me I cancelled my account and sent their shit back and ended up with another charge for $19.95 I called customer service and chewed some guys ass and told him If i don't receive a refund in 3 days as he promised I would prosecute and If I would receive another charge I would also prosecute! WHY ARE FUCKING CROOKS LIKE THIS ALLOWED TO OPERATE??? IS THERE NO LAW AGAINST CROOKS LIKE THIS???

I have had the EXACT same problem. What is this "living lean" program about anyways... other than a huge scam... one that is obviously getting one over on A LOT of us!! I cancelled the "living lean", received a conf. #, and was told I could NOT get a refund for the first charge on my credit card bill. Not surprised when I received ANOTHER $19.95 charge on my card... living lean and WuYi Tea are a massive FRAUD and I can't believe we are letting them get away with this. Someone needs to start a law suit so we can ALL get our money back
