If anyone has any information on the Itasca boot company please let me know I bought a pair of the snow/hiking boot at Shoe Carnival on Novemer 8, 2009 and with in 12days they were coming apart at the seams. I took them back to where I bought them and they told me that these boots were not made for daily wear only for use in snow and since we have had no snow it was my human error for using them on a daily basis ( I work in poultry as a supervisor so I walk in some water) they agreed to exchange them one time only! I have now had the pair I have on my feet for approximately 16days and again these are coming apart on the seams where the rubber is glued together. I would appreciate any help that you could give me in contacting the business about these as I paid $43 on sale for these and in my opinion wether for "snow" only or not they should last more than 2 wks.

Bought a pair of Itasca swampwalker 2400 grm. thinsulate waterproof boots at gander mountian. Worn boots 1 bow hunting season, I went to put deer stands up this year, i had to cross creek to put up stands, I wore the boots to cross the creek to stay dry, only to find out the seams in the bottom have came apart and feet got all wet. Since I dont have receipt I was told to contact Itasca boots direct, well no luck on finding out how to get boot returned or to find out if there is a problem they are having with this. I am very DISSAPOINTED in 1 year (season) of wearing boots. They should be advertised as the only boot to last 1 year, and then you need to buy another pair. Any info on how to get this problem to Itasca would greatly appreciated.

I bought a pair of the tall Itasca Boots with a liner. The liner did not last for one season and each of the boot developed a major crack between the front of the heel to the back of the toe part - about 3" long and 3/16" wide. Same for each boot. No where to follow up from online purchase now. Beware of these boots. Very problematic.

You should have went to Wal-Mart and got the boots and you would not have a problem.

I bought a pair of swampwalker itsaca boots at gander mountain and they said they only had a thirty day guarantee. I will never buy any boots at their store again. He gave me itsaca company number. I called and told the lady I only wore them during spring turkey season and one boot had a slit in the top and the other boot split completely down the back. The lady was very nice and said to return them and they would give me a another pair. It cost me seventeen dollars to ship them back and I got another pair. I wore them about 10 days turkey hunting and they are rotting out . I have two slits in them one in each boot. What a piece of crap. Tony Armeli Hornell NY

I bought a pair of hiking boots before coming to Germany to live for a while. Within a year, they began to literally rot in the toe/front of the boots. The inside came loose and are very uncomfortable to wear. Bought them in a respectable sporting's goods store and paid well for them. Hope that all this input has an impact on their quality control. "Made in China" in other words "### made!" Hope they also have an impact on their sales. Last pair that I will buy!

ITASCA Shoes are PURE TRASH I made the mistake by buying two pairs of Itasca ( One hiking boot & One casual loafer) shoes at Big 5 Sporting Goodss on the same day. I wore the hiking boot two days when I notice that the seam on the side splitting apart. I then made the mistake of wearing the loafer to a party one time & then notice that the seam where the outside & inside lining was coming apart. I took both pairs back to Big 5 with my receipt and they refused to give me new shoes or refund my money. I was told to contact the manufacturer but they did not have any contact number.
I was very disappointed because Big 5 Sporting Goods which is a good size chain store. I will never shop there again.
I would NEVER recommend Itasca shoes which is PURE TRASH.
I finally found a number to call for ITASCA shoe and the lady answering was very rude & told me to take it up with the store that I bought them
