$10 per minute calls from payphone
I made 2 phone calls from a payphone in Dallas Airport to my home in Florida. Each call was ONE minute or less and I was charged over $20.00. This is an OUTRAGEOUS CONSUMER GOUGING! I called the company [protected]) and filed a complaint. I was told that I should of dialed (00) to ask for a rate quote. They did offer me a 50% refund which I accepted. However, I feel this company should stop it's Consumer Gouging Practices. I am going to follow-up by reporting IOS to the Better Business Bureau (http://www.bbb.org) and the Federal Trade Commission (http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/consumer.shtm). I encourage everyone who has been GOUGED to do the same.

I made a collect call from the hospital no less to pick up me and my daughter after an emergency doctor appt. and was on the phone for approx. three and a half minutes and they charges me $32.46. What the hell is going on? I am going to the Better Business Bureau about this crap. This is highway robbery hell this is all kinds of robbery!
I made 3 phone calls from Las Vegas to California. I received answering machines each time and hung up. I didn't even get through to the person and I was charged $21 for each call- $63 total!
I made a call from CA (SAcramento Airport) to TX for 2 minutes and i was charge $40. when i called the service they told me you should have asked for Rate Quote. This is bloody fooling of customers ... They should have been informed about the rates. Also The coins won't work on that phone so u have to give them a credit card to make an urgent call ... Cheaters !
VERY HIGH PHONE BILLS
I USE A PUBLIC PHONE TO MAKE A INTERNATIONAL CALL THAT SUPPOSED TO BE THE LOWER EXPENSIVE AND I RECEIVED A BILL IN MY CREDIT CARD THAT VARIES FROM u$22, 38 TO u$98, 99 WITHOUT WITH THE SAME REFERENCE 12/31MINS THAT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT IT MEAN. I NEED A EXPLANATION FOR THAT. AT THE PHONE BOOT WAS WRITTEN " THE LOWEST" COST FOR INTERNATIONAL CALLS" OR SOMETHING LIKE IT.

I made 2 phone calls from Bucks lake, CA to San Anselmo, CA using my credit card. Normally these calls would be $1.00 in quarters but I ran out of quarters. The sign on the pay phone said to dial a number to use your credit card. I was charged $16+ each for the 2 calls I made. This is ridiculuous!
2 calls (May 2, 2011):
1st: wrong number (less than 20 seconds)
2nd: about 2 minute call to alert pickup that I was at the Delta baggage claim
Each call billed on my credit card at $36.87 for a total of $73.74.
I am furious at this flagrant theft at a major public airport.
Made a collect call from Seekonk, MA to Bristol, RI lasting one minute. They charged me $17.58 for that one minute. How are they allowed to get away with that? I will be filing a complaint with the FCC about them.
Made a pay phone call and hung up BEFORE the call was answered at the other end...and was still charged for the call. The next morning, made a call and talked for 6 minutes. Cost - $42.74. That's over $7 per minute. Rip off.
I made a collect call from Kentucky Hospital to Tennessee from pay phone
the duration was like abt 3 mins & i have been charged $29.13 this is arip off ..
Is there any way we cant can get back our money ... I hate this kind of services ..
Same thing happened to me. I called Brazil from the US, my call wasn't even answered (I didn't wait for the answering machine!) still they charged me U$43! Is there anything we can do to have our money back? (Gisely, Brazil)
I just called and spoke to a woman named Gracie, and she credited half of the charges back to me. I figure something is better than nothing, and hope this helps.
Sincerely,

I just received my bill that I called 10 blocks away in Manchester, NH., and they charged me $30.71! This is outrageous! I am reporting them to the BBB and to my card company for fraudulent services.

I am also pissed at this company. there was a sign big enough for every potential customer to read and understand " Cash/Credit, $1 for 2mins national and International". I used this phone for 2mins and was billed $33.82 twice. This is a reap off and this company should be checked to stop this act of dishonesty.
There is a class action lawsuit open for this case. Please fill in the form. I am ripped off too and just motivated enough to get my money back at whatever cost to this evil company.

I used a phone in Disneyland to contact someone I was to pick me up and take me to LA. I used my credit card as I don't think there was anywhere to put money. My friend didn't even answer so I left a quick message to tell her I was in USA and would phone her tomorrow. That s all I said. I have just received my credit card statement only to find out that the 20 second call I made cost me AU$16.52 which I think is overly excessive. There was nothing to tell me that this call was going to cost so much more than any other public telephone.
This is robbery!

Christine Wood
same here. i left my husband a message while we were in san diego, twice, and each call was 39.97!
The same thing just happened to me (Aug 2017). I made a phone call from a payphone in a Disney park in Los Angeles, CA to Sacramento, CA. I was charged over $10.00 for less than a minute. Could anyone help me with a website o email to contact this company (ios tel)? Thanks in advance!
