Investools does not tell you the entire cost of the program up front. They lure you in with the lower sub $500 price point, then soon after make you realize that you won't benefit from the offering unless you pay upwards of $4k-10k dollars. The thing is, you have already ponied up the $500 and have no way to get your money back. Basically investools pulls the bait and switch scheme. They promise you the world, but don't let you have access to the tools you need on their website unless you pay the big cheese. This is very frustrating because when you're that far committed already, you have no choice but to keep going and they know this. Rich Dad Poor Dad is the way to go if you're looking to learn this stuff. Avoid investools at all costs, or it will cost you dearly.

I very much agree. I think the crux of the problem is that there is no agreement on what your $10, 000 is worth (a lot to you and very little to them), so that would be the thing to negotiate at the outset - in writing: what do I get for my dough, really?

Don't be tricked by the pressing pitch, the good food, or the phony affinity. Kick the tires hard.

It's probably the case that most of what Investools offers can be acquired through diligent study on your own. It's also probably true that other comparatively priced courses are equally good/bad.

What caused me to give it up were two things, after the initial bad taste: the web site was 100 times too slow for research, with 45 seconds page redraws, and the $50 monthly fee to maintain access forward was another ripoff.

How much should I have paid for my Investools experience? $500 to $1, 200 tops.

I totally disagree, I thought you were talking about Rich Dad, just switch whatever you said around and you will be correct.
