They treat their models like [censored] and to get started they require you to FAX them your information they will not accept scanned documents!

I was an agent with internet modeling a few years back.
Looking at my stats I referred 374 models and 60 agents in less than 6 weeks and made nearly $10k over the course of the next 12 months.
They do pay and it can be a very lucrative business if you put in the time.

You can hide your Agent Code if you wish to be anonymous, yet represent your agencies with some proof, some number$ and you would get a lot more sign ups . Thats how i would market . Maybe these agencies should have hired me. haha

THEY DID ME FINE. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND LEGAL!
After waiting out my year-long lockout after working with InternetModeling, I got the chance finally to sign up with BoleynModels.
The difference is literally night and day. I get paid 50% more (!) for working on the exact same websites. My pay comes DAILY like clockwork. I had a minor issue with my bank and their support helped me out within a few minutes. They even issued me a pay stub for my earnings and I was able to use that to rent an apartment. Katy is awesome!
The best part is, no f***** lock out if I decide to go independent later (but with 30-35% payout, there's no real need). They release you immediately if you leave their program to start working for yourself. This was probably the biggest part of the InternetModeling scam...they take HALF your earnings and if you quit, you're banned from working on Streamate for a YEAR!
Even with paying us more, the affiliate referrals even make more money than InternetModeling. I have no idea why these lame idiots keep trying to advertise for them when BoleynModels (and probably other cammodel sites) pay a lot more for referrals.
In my experience working for Internet Models, Janet really seem like a very understanding person. After I explained my personal situation and why I had to leave, she understood and paid me my earnings as promised. She seems to care about the women who work for Internet Models. As many times, you need to email her, she will reply and will not ignore you, that's no lie I'm sure Krissy is also the same way, once you get to know. Krissy sent my check right out to me and even informed me, after I emailed Janet.
When I made the decision to be a camgirl, I did A LOT of research. Internetmodeling frequently came up as good to work for. So I started the process to sign up at their website, but I never even got the chance do do anything with them and after reading this, I'm glad I didn't. Here's what happened (or essentially didn't happen). I first submitted all the documentation they require - photo, photo id, tax document, etc. I didn't hear back from them about my application for a whole week. Finally, they got back to me about my application. I logged in and there was an email that said "the following corrections are required before we can process your application." Didn't tell me what the errors are, what needed I needed to do to correct them. I emailed them back - you should hear back in 1-2 days. Well, it's been another whole week and still no response. I decided to stop chasing and waiting around them, I moved on and registered with streamatemodels directly, I was able to start working in 2 days and I'm very happy so far with Streamate, their support has been great. If Internetmodeling is going to ignore a client like this, it's very unprofessional and I can only imagine how bad things could get had I decided to continue with them . They just seem a bit fishy, I'd stay away.

WOW. If I would have just done my research before I signed up to internetmodeling.com! They truly do act like they are easy to work with, but they will not pay you! My first check was only $100 but I still needed the money a lot, and it never showed up. It says that I was paid but I never was. Janet Ross has never replied back. Stay away from this site

I had a Problem as an agent, I had one model under my referral link and she still on pending since July of this year and she still being on pending, so I guess this website is a lie at least for all that people who are referring models to this website, so I send a ticket with a question about that and no one reply to the ticket, they said that someone will answer my question during 48 working hours, but I still waiting for that email, so I think this website is an SCAM!

Internet models site stole my earning the week I was supposed to be getting a 70% pay out and I have only a 20% pay out I have been complaining to the company about it trying to get In touch with Janet Ross who never gets back to me asking for another agent because I never hear from her! Than my earnings that should of been $200 but were $50 because I am only getting a %20 pay out disappeared this week! Janet Ross says she has no record of it! I was with a customer for almost 2 hours and all the money I thought I'd have has been erased so I'm going to take them to civil court so I can get back my earnings!

I recently applied to work for Janet and I have has no problems, I applied at naked.com and no response, I am new with no experience and Janet has given me a great opportunity, my first day on cam was yesterday and I was online for 4 hours my very first time, I received 8 fans and 80 tokens, I am so pleased, I was busy, I am full figured, I was so nervous but my confidence was built, the experience was fun and I am truly great flu for the opportunity to make legitimate income at home.
No problems at all, the staff has been nice and I would recommend anyone with no experience to start with them.
Internet Modeling is a great site. It usually only takes about 2-3 days for a model to become active after they fill out the paper work. Please give them a try. You will NOT regret it.

This site is a joke. They make it seem like they're so helpful and easy to work with but they're absolutely not. I couldn't even finish the paperwork/pics for them because they were competly unhelpful and honestly rude
This is hilarious. I worked for them 3 months ago and i'm still waiting for my first check. only 70 dollars but i really need the money. I keep contacting HR and Janet and they both keep saying that the check is "processed" which takes 90 days. Well, it's been past 90 days hun. And I would really like to get my check. They kind of do treat me like ### because everytime i try to contact them they tell me the same bogus ###. I'm not stupid. The address is correct. Stop asking me if it is correct. InternetModeling, like many others, is a very old school studio which takes a massive portion of the model's earnings and uses it to pay a tiny cut to its affiliate "agents".
Both the agents and the models would be far better off doing things independently. Setting up a Streamate studio is absurdly easy for an agent, and far more profitable for both the agent and the model.
Parts of the adult industry thrive on the ignorance and/or naivete of the models and "agents." If your business plan relies on locking naive models or agents into unfair contracts, it is by definition a scam. A value added service should not lock down models for a whole year after wanting to leave.
My own programs pay models nearly DOUBLE that of IM, camsharks, vividcams, etc, without the brutal contracts. I also have a free tutorial with very easy steps for agents to make their own studios and make 2x to 3x what any affiliate program would pay - and not screw models at the same time. www.boleynmodels.com

I'm a model with internet modeling and my sister is the agent who referred me. I started about 3 weeks ago and I'm on for two to three hours a night about 4 or 5 nights a week. My first week I spent the most time on learning how the sites work. I made about $100 and each week the payout has been higher as I've gained a few fans and regulars. It supplements my income and has been GREAT in that I work on my time, I don't have to leave my home and its sooo sooo much fun. I know its totally a scam, I asked Janet is it 35% because thats what I read online, she lied and said 70%. I know shes lying, and trying to get more money out of me.
I signed up over 300 models and over 60 agents, 100 models are active, and what is strange that these 100 are active for months. But it's like number never gets over 100 and I stopped getting higher earnings. One moment my model just vanished and they didn't know what is going on. I cannot see my accepted models or training one, like I said the more models i send them the less I earn, It was good before but now for 100 models I earn $40 a week. And honestly I think I've been ripped off...

I started promoting IM 10/15/12. Since I have signed 14 models and 28 agents under me with about 15 models total under them. Not one of my models has yet to start working so I started promoting a different site I’m excited to work with. From the same amount of traffic I was sending to IM I have already signed 12 models and 5 agents = MUCH better conversion rate! 30day minimum sign up time v.s. 2-10 days as well some innovative bonuses / rewards that IM did not offer. I have yet to have any of my models start working on IM though I still have hope. I also had a few potential models not able to sign up due to the difficulty of document uploading process when attempting to apply.

When I applied they preferred I take a picture of the documents and email them, I never had to fax over anything ;-) And Janet takes care of her people. The comment is a lie I work for an internet modeling company and I scanned in documents to the company and they were accepted. This person maybe mad about something and not telling the total truth about the situation because if you see some big stars are on those web cams I guess they are just wasting there time huh? he is just venting people don't not listen to the crap he maybe just hating personally crapping out the mouth because they need to workout they are fat and lazy because if you look good and attractive and can communicate with people and personable people will tip and I have see ### hole on the site but you just have to check them and let them know you not taking their crap and boot and block them from your show. So Think about it you choose your rates if you are working your camera the sites unlocks the GOLD show feature and this gives you the option to do a block session for a time frame to a set price you choose from 50 +up so please don't listen to people that are too ugly and shy to do this or don't even own a scanner, webcam, or even a life to do this webcam job because I don't see why you lie in the Complaint Box. You start other issues if you lie like that jerk!
I don’t lie about anything, to people I don’t know cause I don’t need to but why not tell everyone about the fake accounts users have to gang up on people to run them off! Or the group of people who “modded up” they chose who to keep n who to team up and get rid of most! You can’t block mods even from gold shoes, soooo now what about being fat and unattractive because u seem like a bone head typical jock type. And I ain’t sayin that because I’m fat or lazy., I play basket and am a shooting guard so u know I’m runnin a lot . So now what? I am not bad looking and play sports and it happened to me, not how he or she explained it, but I got singled out and harassed virtually. Which went beyond the website itself. So really most of the “workers” who think like u are the ones responsible for the rudeness as well as the bullying!
I don't think this is a great site or a bad site to work for. I have noticed a little attitude from the superiors which I am not liking too much at all. I think they should be nice to people helping them make money! Hopefully this aspect will get better, who knows. I would not be mean to the hand thats feeding me...Just saying. I have not had any pay out problems or anything. Just rudeness...
You should just try an alternative camsite. certain sites work better for different people. I model on LiveJasmin and although I have heard lots of complaints about them I personally cant complain. Their technical support is pretty spot on as you can just use chatroom they have to instantly speak to a member of staff. You're gonna find all camsites take a large percentage of earnings but with LJ they have a payment structure where the more you earn, a higher percentage you receive. For each level you reach, you receive a further 5% share up to 60%. The only thing some people may have a problem with is that you get paid twice a month about 25 days after the end of the 16 day (average) period. Personally this is not a problem for me. New models cannot expect to earn a [censored]load of money in the first period. It takes time to build up regular customers you just have to be patient and work hard. If you put on a good show for someone, they will return! By the way I am not paid to advertise LJ, I am just passing on honest information from myself as a webcam model.
Becoming an agent is more of a sideline, its an affiliate thing. The best way to be an agent is to be a model first, or a "couple show" if you're a straight male. When you have pay stubs to show off, potential models you try to recruit start taking it seriously. Just directing traffic to their site is kind of lame, and not really their intention with the affliate program.
