My name is Devin Drake, I looked at my online bank account today and saw " VISA CHECKCARD DB-POINT OF SALE INTELIUS SUBSCRIPTION 877-974-1563 Debit $19.95"

I had Intelius do a $5 reverse phone look up for me one time a week ago and most certainly never agreed to join any monthly subscription service. I am opening a dispute with my bank about the transaction and wish to be removed from the Intelius subscription list. I will also change my banking card so as to inhibit any further charges from them. I can't believe that in these hard economic times there are monsters like this scamming people!

Same thing happened to us. I have requested a refund of all charges and intend to file a complaint with the FCC and possibly file an action under the deceptive trade practices act in my state.

If you select a promotional price on the Intelius website, you will also receive a free 7 day trial of Identity Protect. After the 7 day trial, it will convert to a regular subscription and bill out at $19.95 monthly.

However, there’s no obligation. If you determine within the 7 day trial that you no longer want Identity Protect, you can cancel your service anytime, online or over the phone with a customer support representative.

Please call 888-445-2727 Monday – Friday 4:30am – 9:00pm PST. We will be more than happy to assist you with your account.
