INFOLINKS.com - This "in-text" advertising company scammed us as advertisers and as publishers.
Infolinks.com delivers completely fake clicks. We just did a study on it (using our technology which is 100% foolproof)
Infolinks.com in-text ads are a SCAM for advertisiers. In one part of the study, we advertised through infolinks a product with a good sell through rate from other advertising avenues. Infolinks charged for thousands of clicks, but the clicks resulted in 0% sales. I won’t go into the technical details, but the implication is of fake clicks.
As for scamming publishers, we managed to earn about $3600, and when the time came for them to pay to us, they said that "some of the clicks were probably illegitimate" (note:probably) and then they shut down out publisher account.
Avoid this company, if you are looking for an adsense alternative - look somewhere else!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Infolinks is a terrible company. They do not respond to emails. They promise you one thing and deliver another.
Also, the worst part about my experience was the re-directs that their ads were causing. They told me to turn off the ads and they would respond back to me when the issue would be fixed. I never heard back from them. Not one response back from the 20 something emails I sent to them.
Terrible company. You have been warned.
Why infolink is showing 0.0 eCPM for 429 ad views for around 3 days?
Well, well Tammy! This is Steven from Alabama. I bought some advertising through 7search and started running traffic for the keywords "home business" and "home business opportunity." I had the campaign set to phrase match, not broad match. I also limited the campaign to English-speaking countries. After several hundred clicks and not even a single lead, I did some digging. Most of my traffic was being sent from Infolinks. I thought 7search had their own publishers? I'm sure they do, but apparently not enough, and they have a relationship with Infolinks. Well Infolinks is a scam. You have depleted my advertising dollars with "clicks" (notice the quotes) from porn sites, foreign language sites, teenmomnews.com, puffgames.com, crappy looking sites of all kinds and all languages. So, how is that for strong allegations? My email, so you and the Infolinks lawyers can contact me for my address is steven.j.matthews@gmail.com. Sue me please. You would lose.
