IHOP review: service 50

The ladies room always smells bad and there's is never paper towels. I've had experienced one were there was no toilet paper in the stalls and no soap at all.

Managers using profanity infront of customers. I'm the only white girl that works there and they are giving me hell. They are hiring to many poeple. At one time. Having interviews at 3, busy part of the day while shift change and counting down drawers are all happening at the same time!

I have visited this particular restaurant on several occasions and I've never been so embarrassed in all my life. Not only for me and my family but for the servers, it seems that if you are black it's ok to be called the n word loud enough for customers to hear

Have been at my table for 2.5 hours waiting on our food! Ridiculous!

waited 20 minutes to be served, food was greasey this was my second time and my last time.

IHOP opened a new resturant in Picayune MS. I took my family and my mother in law to eat there [protected]. The resturant was not busy at all. Maybe 5 tables total. We waited an hour and twenty minutes for food. My family was through eating by the time I got my meal. The manager and the owner came to our table to apologize, but they still brought us a bill for over 65 dollars. The more I think about it, the more angry I get.

I've went there many times. This was the first time I ever experienced racial issues while @ the IHOP on Slauson/Western. I will never go back there again.

Every since 1996 when my husband and I opened our business in Greenville SC we committed to each other that twice per week we will have a "sit down" breakfast" and IHOP was “our place“. When we moved to Myrtle Beach last year we continued that tradition with the M.B. location. Service has been spotty at best here until we found one waitress who was dedicated to customer service. After a number of visits we stopped ordering pancakes due to the fact that most times the were room temperature at best when they got to the table, the butter placed atop them would be cold and never melted. When we told her this after she recommended a special she suggested we had our pancakes held until after we had the main dish, and for 4 months now that’s what we have done. Today on our weekday visit we place our order as usual but with a waiter as the waitress we normally see wasn’t there. We were rudely cut off during ordering by our waiter who said “ I can’t hold pancakes, were too busy during the summer to hold pancakes, I will bring warm syrup”. This was said very matter of fact and rude with out regard to our stunned faces. It is March, 40 degrees outside and the restaurant was no busier than any other day over the last 4 months. After he made this comment he paused and saw our stunned faces and said “I’m sorry we’re just too busy for that during the summer” in the same rude tone. I am ashamed to admit that at that point I became rude as well when I told him “ Well I guess your too busy for my business” and he said “ok” and walked away.
In a town with 83 Pancake houses lining the main hwy it was easy to find another local breakfast house to eat at. The way I see it is that my husband and I eat once during a weekday and with our kids on a weekend day - our budget for the visits is 70.00 per week equaling $3640 per year spent. Now I know your not a small business and perhaps that isn’t a drop in the bucket for even the one restaurant alone but have that happen to the locals once per week and how much it adds up too. I do not intend to revisit the restaurant once “summer” is over due to the fact that if I am of no importance to you when your busy why should I support you when your slow in the off tourist season?

I know you can’t fix a problem if you don’t know it exists, so now I can rest assured that you know.

Seriously? Why would you stay? I would have walked out already. Did you speak with a manager?

Poor social skills are no better than a bad attitude...both parties enjoyed them equally.

Casey has Asbergers' Syndrome. She talks like a robot because she has a disability. However, she is not one to sit home and live off the taxpayer, so she is striving to make a living, despite her disability. She truly appreciates people who can forgive her for being born with a disability not more to your personal preference, but realizes that particular point is her cross to bear.

Although it is certainly NEVER acceptable to throw plates at the customers, or SLAM them down on the table, her motor function is slightly impaired, and she does apologize. It seems that her disability was not to blame, but her frustration with her ignorant customers was. She professess to having a small lack of control when people are laughing behind her back AND in her face about some trait she was born with, and that is entirely our of her control.

Interestingly, "and you and you and you" is a phrase given to her by her counselor as a coping method when dealing with the stress of people whom she should actually just reach out and choke. His bad.

So-your complaint is that the waitress took your order ina timely and polite manner, brought good food to you, on time-but was frustrated with your behavior, then? Please do come on back and have a fee meal on Ihop. Come with your church group-like to see if they behave the same way...

Stealth Pilot is all over this web-site. He indeed enjoys being the opposition... no problem for me.
The original complaint is valid. Fortunately there is an easy remedy. Do NOT tip the waiter... he will get the message loud and clear very soon. In fact his manager will get the message too. Of all the problems in the world, the "restaurant problems" are the easy ones.
And people like Stealth Pilot are easy too. His "name" says it all... a classic mixture of narcissism and inferiority complex.

I too usually use the occasional cuss words. However, it was not the cussing that bothered me, but the more crude insults that were directed at my members, which involved vulgar body parts, body fluids and crude references. There is a point that it becomes abusive.

It is the intent of my protest site to combat all false allegations, results of BofA press releases that are not true, by respectfully debating the issue in whatever forum these kind of false allegations are mentioned in. However, after I received a complaint from Isabel about how this person who was abusing her in a way that was scaring people away from being able to debate the issue, myself and a few of my blogs board members investigated the complaint, such as we always do. We never read one round of an abusive response and protest, but rather try to appeal to the persons good nature, by trying to influence them to stop. It was only after 24 hours of observation and investigation that were able to conclude that it was not going to stop. Therefore, we decided it was worthy of protest. This was also based on the fact that the individual who was applying the abuse was not just any person giving their opinion, but our sources were able to confirm that they were of much more importance to the function of this complaint board forum. The reason that we are a well organized team made up of influential bloggers, law firms and various political and policing agencies, is not because we are against cussing or this individual, but is because we are fighting the largest bank in the world.

The team was originally assembled because there were reports in articles that Bank of America had potentially hired blogger hit teams to combat Wikileaks. However, our resources would be tested and intensified, while it be during a time that we were under attack by a very large law firm, who had hired bloggers to come out and post lies about myself and the law firm representing me. This particular law firm had underestimated how well organized and serious our protest was, simply because their firm had been infiltrated by our supporters, who now worked within the firm as spies. It would later be reported that this law firm had a meeting with all their employees, and had hired them to come out here and post false complaints about myself and the law firm representing me. In one case, they even started entering false complaints in my name. However, what the law firm could not have known is that we had the resources to get the names, address, phone numbers and even the check numbers of the people they were paying to do this. As part of our protest, we warned that we would post this online, if they did not stop. They of course thought we were bluffing, while they continued. Therefore we posted all their information online, in which it brought a complete halt to the action. I would later be contacted by someone who organized a cease fire. This is actually a very well publicized event, which had taken place on piggybankblog.com. This is why regardless to the claims that I am making up the some of the suggestions of consequences that come come to this abusive individual, our record will speak for itself. Nevertheless, you can see why we have a specific interest in anyone who is out there, who might come under the radar as a paid employee. Sometimes our suspicions are confirmed that they are indeed paid, but not come against us. Unfortunately, this particular abusive person has the fingerprint of someone who is either paid, or has an agenda . Sometimes we catch dolphins in the tuna net, but we are fast to release them, if they no longer serve a threat to our cause.

With that being said, I never said that it was Isabel that was the elderly person. It happened to be another piggybankblogger who had joined the forum. I have mentioned their name in a previous comment, but the person has asked me not to now, because they afraid of Stealth.

In closing, I would like to thank you for being a decent person, who does not believe in Stealth's vulgar, crude and abusive language, which is not even acceptable by any man who has any measure of class, but certainly not that of someone who claims to be a female. Therefore, because I realize that if one hangs around trash long enough...they begin to smell like trash, this person will never grow on me. Respectfully, this comment was not directed towards you though.

Listen, I really can respectfully understand how you would have made the comment that you did, while asking the questions that you did, but while not also not understanding the dynamics of what transpired. The reality is that it would start in a forum where people were having respectful debate about the politics of loan modifications. However, some of these people would come in the room and say "you all ###ing bought a house that you could not afford..." We would then lay the facts out, without the colorful language and insults, but they would continue crudely personally abuse people, until they would be forced to leave that room...leaving only their opinion in there...which is not fair.

With that being said, I am simply not going allow someone to abuse people in a public forum, while they chase everyone away in fear of being abused. This is because we should be able to debate the issue without being called names, such as "###ING IDIOT" and "do you ###ing masturbate enough." This is because one of the people in that room was an elderly person who asked for my help. They were losing their home, while being personally insulted with abusive crude body fluid language. I warned them that I am a protest site that would protect my supporters, myself and our cause. We will not be shut out of a forum that involves the topic of our case.
