Hello! My name is Lisa and I want to share my experience with Idro Labs. I ordered free sample for $10. If someone doesn’t know how the system works, I can explain. $10 were paid for the delivery and the product should be absolutely free. I think I can call it thievery, because this company charged me extra $90.

This is a scam! I ordered the 2 trail products on 7 March 2016, they charged $12.08. I called to cancel my order on 25 March and they said it was too late and I had to cancel the future order within 14 days, and they had already billed me for the cost of the products! Today I checked my statement, they billed me totally $303.10 on 22 March ! I called to complaint and they said I accepted the outcome in the first call. No I did not. They said the Terms and Condition was shown on the website. The quality and effect are not as they described online and it is not free at all! The cost they are charging is also too high. As far as I concern, the information they advertised online are misleading. Is there anyone who are interested to join me to complaint to the government official? please write to me so that we can gather all the victims together. poongracehk@yahoo, com

I live in Australia and I too have been RIPPED OFF! I agreed to the sample products costing about $15 and did indeed receive the tiny sized products. Then over the month 4 different transactions took money out of my credit card amounting to $568. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY PRODUCTS SINCE ... not that I agreed to anything more apart from the initial sample products. I went into the bank and had my credit card cancelled. They are investigating the company and if proven to be a scam, I WILL be reimbursed by my bank! After these complaints I can happily see the outcome. Disgusting thievery!

I too have fallen for this scam..but they do explain it somewhat in their " terms and conditions" found way down the bottom of the order confirmation page. None the less it is completely appalling that people can do this to others. I have just cancelled my credit card and will receive a new one so they have no access to it...Call your bank and cancel your cards people...Cant believe I fell for this. ..

I just noticed two withdrawals from my bank account also. This is a total con. Yes a small free sample arrived. For which I paid the delivery fee. Now I have had two withdrawals one for $121.84 with $3.66 transaction fee. and one for $145.38 incurring a $4.36 international transaction fee. Absolutely disgusted.

Hi everyone. You should go to your bank and tell them what happend. I did and showed them all transactions when money were taken by Essence of Argan. They closed my Credit card and opened a new one. The Bank also connected to Essence of Argan and cancelled all charges. So I have received a Cancellation Notification from "Essence of Argan Customer Support" and all my money back onto my new credit card. Couldn't believe! Thanks Lord. They even gave me back 9 dollars that I paid first for shipping. My name's Iryna. I live in Australia.
There are refunds on my credit card. All the best.

The same thing happened. Got charged for free samples, contacted them on the 1800 number in Australia. Was being pressured not to cancel, however I told the person I wasn't interested. Fleeced out of multiple amounts. Lesson learnt - if it sounds to good, chances are it's a scam.

same thing happened to me this week . I saw this on face book and answered a few questions to win a product. Still needed to give them my details for postage. This week an amount of $125.00 came out of my account so I rang them and they said I have been charged for the sample bottle as it was a 14 day trial as per there website. I didn't even receive what I asked for in the first place . These sort of companies need to be stopped as they are rip offs

I too have been hoodwinked by Lsa health & beauty by the sum of $150, supposed to be a free trial, and if I was'nt happy with it within 14 days
I could tell them it was'nt for me, that i did'nt want the product, (which is essense of argan) & there will be no charge, but they took $150 out of my Visa just 2 days after receiving the stuff. We all want our money back. Is there anything we can do to stop these scammers.( I live in New Zealand)

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! I also have been scammed by this Company. I ordered 2 "free" samples and paid postage of $A6.45. I received the 2 'FREE" Samples on 9/2/2016. I was horrified to see that $A133.78 was taken out of my Credit Card on 8/2/2016, ONE DAY BEFORE I RECEIVED THE 'FREE' SAMPLE! I immediately sent them an email to request a "return merchandise authorization" so I can return the products but the email bounced back with "Delivery failure - unknown user". I tried on 4 other occasions but all emails bounced back. I got their address and email from the website as no invoice came with the products therefore there was no address, phone number or email. I have sent the products back but I am not holding my breath that I will get a refund as this address may be a 'phoney" Something MUST be done to stop this Company illegally taking money from people's credit cards. I would like to thank everyone that has posted on this site. I too ordered the trial products which I noticed I was debited NZ$21.00 when I checked my bank statement today. That's when I decided to go to the site to see what I could find out about the company. Put The name into Google and it came up with this site. After reading everyone's comments I could not believe what I had got myself into. I went straight to the bank with all your posts printed out and asked them to cancel my card, which they agreed too, and reissued me with a new one. So when they try to take anymore money out they will be the ones that will be pissed off. The bank gave me a form to fill out called the Customer Transaction Disputes Form. I suggest to you all that you go to your bank and get one of these forms (I'm with ANZ). The more complaints the bank gets about these two companies the more they will be able to help you. Hi Everyone, I am in Australia and fell into the same trap of thinking that I was getting a one-off "free"sample of Argan Oil for the cost of post and packing from this mob. I am usually very cluey about "free" offers so either I wasn't concentrating very well on Jan 1st, or else their website was VERY devious. My "free" sample arrived on about Jan 6th and I was very busy so put it on one side to try later, and actually hadn't even tried it when another bottle arrived on around Feb 6th. I checked my credit card statement recently and found a large sum charged on 18/1 (A$135.07) and another on 3/2 (A$140.48) - I realised that this was NOT a good sign so i have been researching and found this website. I obviously didn't notice the terms and conditions attached to this offer - maybe this info was very well hidden!

Anyway - here is what I have discovered. I found on-line the terms and conditions set out. What I had signed up for was a bottle of Argan Oil, paying only post and packing - BUT if i did not contact them within 14 days to say cancel the order, and return the possibly empty bottle, the balance of the full price of the "free" sample would be charged to my credit card! Then if I didn't contact them during the next 14 days after that to say cancel the order, I would automatically be placed on a monthly delivery schedule! WOW! So the first large amount on my card was the balance of the cost of the "free" sample and the second amount was the full cost of the first of my regular shipments. The shipments here in Australia come from an address in Eastern Creek, near St. Marys, NSW

The terms and conditions gave a contact phone number to ring in Florida, if you are not happy with the arrangement and wish to cancel. You can also cancel the automatic order. You can also return the latest delivery for a refund if it is within 30 days of delivery, but you must ring them first to get a RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORISATION NUMBER (RMA). So I found the phone codes to use to ring Florida from Australia and this is what you need to dial from Australia : [protected] . I rang this morning at about 11.30 am, just to try the number. As it was about 7.30pm on Sunday there I actually didn't expect to get an answer, but I did.

I spoke to Belle, who had a very strong (Philipino?) accent and spoke very quickly so that I had to be very firm and I had to keep stopping her to get her to repeat things. I should mention that it took a lot of intestinal fortitude to deal assertively with Belle and not to get angry! Anyway, I learned that i cannot get a refund for any of the full cost of the "free" sample, so I have put that down to bitter experience! However I can get a refund on the second delivery - minus US$9.95 (or A$14.50) restocking charge - and I am well within the time frame for that (30 days from depatch) because it has to be returned to Eastern Creek, NSW, not to Florida. While i was talking to Belle about this, she offered me their "hassle-free" option of returning - where you don't have to return the bottle and they refund you 50% of the cost! I said NO THANK YOU to that. So she left me on the phone while she went away to generate an RMA - hanging about there in silence for about 2 minutes! Then she came back and said that she had been authorised to offer me a better hassle-free offer - they would refund 70% of the cost and I didn't have to return it - I said NO THANK YOU TO THAT, also - even though she told me how good the oil was for your feet and your nails! So she went away again - to generate my RMA - this time I was waiting on the phone for about 4 minutes in silence! - but eventually she came back and I did get my RDA so I shall send this second bottle back and in about 4 weeks I can expect a refund. Belle also assured me that the act of returning a bottle will automatically cancel the automatic shipping order - she had better be right about that because I shall be watching! I haven't cancelled my credit card yet, but that is the next step if this doesn't work.

I hope that this will help some of you. It is a real wake-up call to me and I shall be very much warier in future.

Regards from a Wrinklie!

I have just hung up the phone after speaking to Carol O'Neil in Florida about the SCAM with Hydrotherapy and Argan Oil that has cleaned me out of over $600 so far. Carol works in the customer care department and explained to me that she is unable to refund me the January charges of $308.12, but will process a 50% refund today on the charges of $300.66 in February. She gave me a tracking number for the shipment that I was charged for on the 6th of February and said that I am to ring them when the shipment arrives and ask for a return merchandise authorisation number and consign the shipment back to them and she will refund me the other 50% when it is received. I have no faith in this company and don't believe for one minute that I will get any refunds from them whatsoever. NOT in my wildest dreams (even if I won lotto), would I pay $162.76 for HALF AN OUNCE of BS, and $137.90 on 30ml of OIL. BUT like all of you, I was in it for the trial to see if it worked ONLY because it was endorsed by Womens Health Magazine and Dr Oz. I asked Carol was it true that both these people endorsed it and she said "YES". I think that if I was to be bothered any more with this bad experience I wouldn't be going to the ACCC but instead making a blow on those two for endorsing such a BS under hand manufacturer/distributer. This company is located in Barbados and distributes Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the US. I also asked Carol was she aware of the bad publicity that this company is receiving in Australia and she said "YES". Moral of the story: When something is too good to be true, then that is exactly what it is. I rest my case.

I also asked for the free sample and paid $6.95 postage. I was then charged $159.95 on 23 January 2016 for this "free sample". Again $159.95 on 6 February 2016. No invoice received on original delivery. Went thru Bank info and email address is bogus, received an email saying next delivery coming. I rang immediately and spoke to someone overseas. Demanded cancellation and refund. Was told that was done and no further charges. Not received any product nor refund. Telephone number now disconnected. WTF?
What else can I do? This is a scam company and should be banned by Google/FaceBook from advertising.

I was charged $135.84 by is company 6 days after I had ordered trial product which I had paid postage for.
I emailed them that their product was no longer wanted.
They stole that money from my account after I had cancelled the product, which by the way burnt my face.
The product that they charged me for didn't arrive, presumably because I cancelled, but money was removed and I am sitting here with my bank statement which is now over drawn and I pay interest on.
I shall try and call them tomorrow, I will also change my banking details and show the manager what they have done.
Do not trust this company, they advertise on face book as product trials.
Please beware.

like many of you I payed he $9.37 and the $6.24 for the shipping of the free gift WHICH TO DATE I HAVE NOT YET RECIEVED so far they have taken out of my account
13th jan 2016 $163.61 plus overseas fee of $4.76
13th jan 2016 $137.11 plus overseas fee of $3.99
27th jan 2016 $143.23 plus overseas fee of $4.17
28th jan 2016 $173.61 plus overseas fee of $5.05
I have not recived the free gift I payed the shipping for however at no point have I signed anything to state they have y permission to help themselves to my bank account whenever they please and for what ? I have OT EVER got anything in the post from this company . this company is still operating and should be shut down its blatant robbery fraud ect they are withdrawing money from peoples accounts with no contract in place nothing signed no direct debit put in place nothing I will tomorrow be closing my account at the ANZ and also making a formal complaint to their fraud branch as to how any one can take money out of my account on a regular basis with no approval from myself with the bank in any way shape or form what is the point of having passwords and pin number and security questions and signatures if the banks are this lax in their security measures

BEEN RIPPED OFF?

Here's what I did -
1. retrieve the correct number to call from your EMAIL CONFIRMATION (when they send you the product) in Australia its [protected].
2. Ask for an RMA Return Merchandise Confirmation number, required before you return for a refund (you only have within the 30 days of order, or order email which has the order date on)
3. Write the RMA on the outside of the package and return.
READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS - I got my bank to cancel my credit card, and investigate, because i did this, they wont issue me with a RMA, so I will miss the return 30 day option. Im going to call my bank tomorrow and let them know i did some investigation and found the information. Its not easy finding the infor I looked for the original ad, I couldn't find it of course. The email confirmation has all the info you need to put a stop to them debiting your bank account.

The information on the ad was not clear about returning or after 16 days we will bill you monthly. You had to actually go to the terms and conditions. This seems deceptive, and it is, but probably quit legal.

Costly experience, especially 3 products at $156.00 or thereabouts each (with the changeover rate)

what Ive learnt?...always read the terms and conditions! Also LSA and Idrolabs are the same ripoff people, just different company names.
hope this helps, let me know how you get on

I will be contacting SCAMWATCH at the ACCC as suggested above, (thanks Bloss) and make a complaint, I also read the terms and conditions (which I didn't do prior, my bad), it also stated the amount was 83.00 or thereabouts, they charged me 92.00 first transaction and 95.00 second, so this has got to be in breech of their terms and conditions at the least. I am in Australia, the same has happened to me, I have cancelled my credit card after three unauthorized transactions for the products, the ANZ are going to dispute the transactions. There was no contact for the argen oil (LSA Health and Beauty Ltd, in Barbados, defiantly dodgy country). i contacted Idrotherapy as i received a confirmation email, although it was an automated phone service that prompted cancellation, without knowing who i was! I urge everyone who has had the same experience to contact the Communications Ombudsman, I am investigating. I will post my research on this site.

I am in Australia and the same has happened to me. I paid A$9.42 each for postage of 2 free samples and an additional $25.13 was taken off my preloaded Visa card. I was fortunate that was all I had left on my card or they would have taken the lot. Left me with $6.00. I shall be telling all my friends and Facebook contacts about this scam. It was on Facebook that I first came across their free product trial advertisement. I hate to think what this free trial would have cost me had I provided my credit card details! One thing I did notice is the package was sent from a distribution centre in St Marys, NSW. Unfortunately discarded the packing before i realised it was a scam.

My complaint is very similar to all the ones above. I actually noticed they had tried on 4 occasions to take money from my account and contacted my bank and had the card cancelled. However, the very next day the company managed to get away with $130! I will be contacting my bank on Monday. I also sent the company an email stating that I did not want their product and they sent an email back that gave me the phone number to ring (it also doesn't connect...) I am in Australia. The price for vanity is very high. Let's just celebrate our wrinkles. I'd be very interested in bringing this band of rogues and thieves to their knees. Bonnie
