They're at it again. DO NOT respond to this company. Not only do they create phone lists, they have bought fraudulent lists and are calling folks and saying they are a collection agency and you owe X amount of dollars NOW. No matter what they say, they're a scam.

My suggestion is that you ask them to send you the paper work that authorizes them to collect this money and you will talk to your lawyer. And you usually never hear from them again as they have no supporting documentation. If they keep calling threaten them with the BBB and a lawsuit.

They just called and left a message and are talking about litigation, had no idea who they are. There would be no reason for a call like this. The guy leaving the message sounds very aggressive, serious, almost hostile and saying the call is urgent. Can the BBB, or police not investigate this? This is a bullying tactic, they seem to be working on fear.

Not only is this an invasion of privacy folks. They seem to hoping some unsuspecting person follows up so they can take advantage. The guy identified himself as chief officer,

Just got a call from a harasser name Tom Dyminchuk (last name is phonetcally spelled) with a very belligerent tone claiming he was from ICOR. He has no personal manners and will turn you off immediately. I hung up. If they have a gripe they can send it in writing with all pertinent details. If they call back I will seek their address and company info and notify the police of harassment. The guy should work for the mafia not a legitimate business.

They called my daughter's cell phone and attempted to solicit funds from her. Red flags went off immediately and I challenged them directly. They need to be tracked down and arrested as this is fraud. On previous attempts to tell them to stop as they have the wrong information they responded with laughter and telling me that I don't have any way to legally go after them. This is the information they voluntarily gave me without my asking...

Wow!
I just received a call from Icor Canada...
The guy was sooooooooo rude, no phone matters whatsoever!
Assumed it was me on the phone, never asked to speak to so and so and immediately accused me neglecting my Rogers bill. He insisted that I pay NOW and I told him my account with Rogers is just fine, there's no reason for Icor to call. But every time I tried to speak, he would interupt me so I yelled EXCUSE ME, LET ME SPEAK AND EXPLAIN... he ignored me.

Then he yelled Are you paying this $500some bill here or not?
I said NO
He said Thank you, you are now blocked for 7 years.

And he hung up!

Ok... thank you, have a great day... I'm so confused!

LOL

They have been calling my home several times a day for months now! I never googled the company, as they never left any information, just a number to return the call. I finally had enough and answered the phone when they called today, the lady didn't even speak english initally. I had to repeat my greeting, and then I received very broken english. I claimed that who they were looking for was not home and asked for a message, the lady was very rude and demeaning (and with broken english it was confusing! LOL) and she hung up without leaving any information. I called the number from my call display back (1 866 205 3087), and she answered the phone with her company name - ICOR Canada. I was like "Thank you! Now remove this
(my) number from your list."

I guess what I'm trying to say is they harass people beyond harrassment and are extremely rude and ignorant. We have not received any documentation or paperwork for any arrears and our accounts are up to date. Seems very "scammy" to me, and worth being suspicious of them. I would ask them for all the pertinent details, and paper copies to be sent out to you, so you could consult with your lawyer (of course bluff if you have too). DON'T give them your information as, if they are who the "claim" to be, they would already have everything they need. Tell them once you receive the paperwork and consult with your lawyer you wil respond to their inquiries. That should put a damper on thier harassment.

They will not leave me alone and have called 19 times today alone. This is crazy - they start calling around 6:00 am and finish up to 11:00 pm...it has been going on for months and I have called the place they claim I owe and they cannot find any record of an unpaid bill or anything on me. My lawyer paid my bill in 2006 so I know it is not a valid bill. I really am getting angry at this crap. 19 times in 1 day...from 3 different numbers...there is not one day in the past 4+ months they have not slammed me with calls. HELP

We've had the same problems. These people are dirt. My advice is to ask for their name and employee number. In most cases they won't give it to you. Ask for a supervisor, they wont transfer you. Let them know that you will not do business with people on the phone and that if they would like to take this up with you, to mail you paperwork about the "debt" in question. They'll tell you they won't send out paper work. Demand they take you of their list. They do, and then the numbers that they have blocked by request ALL get recycled back in 30 days automatically.

After a few minutes, the agent will get very frustrated and hang up. Just stand your ground and don't let them bully you!

There has to be a way to all get together and take these clowns down. They are a disgrace to society.

I've been having the same problem with these low-lifes. Everyday I get home to see they've called me 5-10 times using different numbers. I finally answered the phone this morning and experienced the same orrogance you all have had. I stood my ground and told him to stop calling me to which he replied he can't stop. I asked to speak to a manager so he put me on hold and after about 90 seconds the line went dead. I'm hoping the get the idea and stop. At least for a while.
Thank you to all for verifying what I suspected all along. Hopefully there will come a day when these ***holes will be caught stopped.

Another ICOR hater.

This company has been calling me three times a day for over a month. False claims of a 10 year old ticket for driving without a license. I was able to contact the Police directly (through the NON EMERGENCY line) to confirm that there is no ticket in my past, or on my record.
I also made a complaint with Phone Busters, and I recommend you all do the same and they team up with Police agency's province-wide to help stop phone scams 1 888 495 8501. I contacted Icor again to follow up on my "file" to confirm with them that it is NOT my ticket and there ISN'T a ticket, I had the Officers badge number and full name and telephone number which apparently wasn't good enough for them as they require it in writing. I told them that I require further communication in writing and not to continue with these calls of harrassment. They are SCAMMERS.
Lastly, if you're a Bell Customer then consider adding Call Screen service to your phone line. Despite all of my efforts to speak with Icor directly, they are aggressive, hostile and dishonest. Block all of their numbers!

I too have been receiving phone calls up to 10 a day looking for my husband. We have no debts, paid everything with cash and we dont even have a debit card, so I know that this is a scam. No details, aren't willing to send paperwork to our lawyers, nothing! Although they did ask for a credit card payment so that our credit isn't tarnished while we straighten this mess out. I laughed so hard into a coughing fit, that I think I must have broken that poor girls eardrum. Looks good on her for trying to scam. Beware folks of ICOR 1-800-281-9642 SCAMMERS!

I too have been receiving calls from these clowns like clockwork - twice a day, EVERYDAY, for the past two years. Give their CEO a taste of their own medicine by calling him at home - say around 22:00 hours - and ask him how it feels.

His name is Vikas Kapoor and his new phone number and address are 212.769.1451. 135 Central Park W, #7S, New York, NY, 10023

Have a happy day folks.

OMG!!! I have been putting up with their annoying pre-recorded message for the last two months up to five times a day. All it says is: "This is Icor Canada. Call us back at 1-877-..." What kind of company does that? I am not obliged to call anyone back unless they identify themselves properly, ask for a specific person and tell me what they are calling about.
I finally had enough. I called them and started drilling them right away about who they were. They were instantly combative. They said I was very rude. Really? Don't you think it is rude to interfere with someone's home life with your constant interuptions? How bizarre is that? Perhaps... but I guess in this instance, it takes one to know one.
They finally said they were a collection agency. No one in the household has any outstanding debts who I threatened with legal action if they continue to call here. Let's see where this goes.
I can't believe company run this way. These collection agency need to re-evaluate their approach and stop preying upon innocent people who pay their bills. We don't need or want to hear from them. They are the scourge of our society... that is... if they are who they claim to be.

I've been getting calls from them 2 to 3 times a day for the past year or so. A couple of weeks ago, my 10 year old son answered & they asked him for his name. He didn't know what to do so he told them his name. He got spooked by the angry tone of voice at the other end & hung up. Since then, they call but now ask for him. What a bunch of bullies!

Anyways, i've tried putting them on the Do Not Call List for a year, but they still call. Over the past few weeks, one of my colleagues told me what he does: he answers the phone using a different language than english (say italian or french) and they will at first try to get you to speak in english. Keep on talking to them in the other language, and they'll eventually hang up or tell you they'll have someone else call you later. Since i've been using that strategy (unless i simply don't answer the phone), i'm having a ball. I call them all kinds of names in another language (which they obviously don't understand) and all in a polite way, of course. Now, they simply hang up as soon as i answer (in that other language). Earlier today, i used a robotic voice when i answered (in that other language) telling them this is a recording & to leave a message. They did. A recording (female voice) said "This is ICOR Canada" and instructed me to call a number (1-866 ...) urgently.

They'll continue calling, no matter what. I haven't done it yet, but my next move will probably involve calling them back, using a european language other than english, and drive them mad...over and over. Give them some of their own medecine. I likely won't be blocking my number, since i'm hoping they'll get the message and stop harrassing me.

Does any one know who these losers really are? i would sure like to know!
they call my cell phone anytime between 7am and 1100pm, several times a day sometimes, for a least a year, and never answer my return calls, i did have one bad debt and it was paid, not to Icor i might add, these people are the digital scum of the earth and if i ever find out who they really are... they can consider themselves having one more lawsuit against them, i think its time for the law enforcement to step in with actual consequences?
yet another issue...the mobility provider i pay for.. dose not have any system in place to block these losers
any one else see a pattern here???????????????????????

I recived one of there call today (the first one). I manged to get there phone number (not the one they gave on my answering machine) and called them. They're surching for someone thet have nearly the same name as my girlfriend. I've then ask them to remove my phone number off there list and said yes that was what they were going to do.

So now i hope that i wont have another call.

I am receiving, what I consider harrassing, phone calls from 1 866 801 1526 (displayed number) or 1 877 503 2115 (the number given to me by the caller), 4 to 5 times a day regarding confidential business matter [(1) they are calling a private number; (2) I don ‘t know the person they are trying to call, and I live at the same address for 5+ years; (3) I do not own a business; nor (4) am I in serious debt, and my bills are current]. If the matter is important, pertains to me, then they should disclose details to me; otherwise, excuse my French, F*** OFF!

I have received several calls from this shitty company . They are asking for someone who does not live here and besides the point thy never sent any letter to my home to say someone owes money. I reported them to local police for fraudulent, abusive behaviour and I plan on pressing criminal charges against them for harrassment .
