ICICI Bank wrong reversal of amount debit for medical insurance

I have been given credit card by ICICI Bank.After some days I recd a Medical Insurance from ICICI lombard covering the Hospitalisation Expenses. I talked to Customer care at lucknow and informed that I am working with L&T and such scheme is already available with me so I don't require this please cancel as it has come to me without my requirement, They canceled it .After words I recd another policy at my home at Kanpur with the same specification , I was Stunned because few days back only I Have cancelled the previous one,. Once again I talked to Customer care and cancelled the Policy.

I have debited with some amount in my Credit card but given credit for approx 25% less in both the cases.
Now ICICI is behind me for the payment. I told them all the facts made the detail working also but all in vein .There is no one who can help me in this small case.

The same thing happened to me. One icici credit card is issued to me (2005) which i never got. There was no poicy on it. After some time i was reissued anther card (2008).But ICICI lombard policy was activated on it wthout my information. The most important things is that i never got any of the cards.

I only came to know after seeing my bank statements that per months 1390 rs is being debited from my saving account from something. After talking to customer care, i came to know that i have an credit card from past 3 years on my name. As the card is with the bank with status undelivered, i was stunned to know that. They told me that this amount is debited towards this ICICI LOmbard policy and asked me to cancel this policy. When i called them to cancel this policy. I was only refunded 25% and 75 % of the premium value (appr, 15627) was deducted again from my account.

What the hell is going on. They activate some policy without the information on the undelivered card that too with out any information. And when the person deactivate this policy a big percentage of the premium amount is charged. What the f***.

I am still fighting with them to give me whole money back and asking for the proof that i ever agreed the terms and conditions for this policy.

What can be the solution ...

I have a ICICI Lombard-General Insurance Health Policy.
And I got a phone call from ICICI saying all my personal details, credit card number, date of birth which they got from my ICICI Lombard policy, saying "All the ICICI Lombard customers will be converted to ICICI Prudential, so you need to take a new policy from ICICI Prudential, and your previous policy will be discontinued". But after 3 months it doesnt happen. The money is still deducted from my credit card. I have contacted the ICICI Lombard people, they said that I am being misguided and no further action is taken.

Hi,

I have bought a mediclaim policy from ICICI Lombard (Policy No. 4034/FPS/[protected]/00/000) IN APRIL 08. I submitted 4 installments. They assured me that Rs 452.00 would be deducted every month from my credit card but they went against there assurance & get RS 453.49 deducted every month.

I call there customer care executives & send too many mail regarding this. But I did not get any satisfactory answere from them. Like this my first problem was wrong deduction. I did not care for 2 Rs. but it is the matter of a Company's wrong assurance.

They cheating with customer and after having policy recived they even did not care about the customer they compelety forget & try to ignore him. On the other hand they publicly shout & try to convey the message in market that they care the customer better than anyone.

When I call there customer executive they talked with me in a very rude & improper manner & said that they could not return my money as per their Company's policy but could not tell the policy to me & ask me to withdraw my policy & once again assured me that they will return me my complete money without any kind of deduction & I diid so.

I get my policy withdrawn but once again I get cheated & I got my money deducted by the company. When I asked how my money get deducted whereelse you have said I will get my complete money back, Once again they said ------------As per the company policy-------------------- like this without telling me any policy of their company they get my policy crushed & cheated me at every point.

How can I belive of this type of company I never want to purchase any policy from them.
Now I want to tell the public through you that teh assurance that these Companies are making to you are all empty bans.
They are lier, They are cheater and they are---------------------------------------------.

Dear friends,
This is Rajesh Nelavelli. I'm workin for Satyam. In August i was applied for ICICI CREDIT card. In Oct. One of the ICICI exicutive called me for verification.After that he asked me to take Lombard,it will helps in "TAX Decleration". I said "NO". Even though he sent two Lombard cards to my parent's address. They sent to me after a week. I immediately called that person(Raja Reddy,Chennai,no:+[protected]) and asked him to cancel those cards. He said that "Sir, I'm sorry for that. Unfortunately It was activaed,Please pay 1047/- for jan. , after that i will cancel the cards." Now those customer care people said to me "YOU HAVE TO PAY 5,500/- rs. as CANCELLATION FEES".

Please tell me,"Is this is the correct way for ICICI bank to develop their business, and please tell me"What to do now"?

ICICI is full of real ...ing ###. I have been given a credit card from ICICI and they enrolled me into this same Lombard Med insurance. They confirmed my interest on the same, and said that Its required to pay some 400 rs per month on Med Insurance; they gave me no other information. I waited for the credit card and for 4 months they did not sent it to me. After 4 months, they sent a Credit card statement that, Rs. 8525 has been charged from the Credit card, and I need to pay 8525/- plus the penal interest of 1800/-.

I told that I never had received the credit card. Now they phoned me and told that the old card has been destroyed, and anew card is on the way, but I have to pay the outstanding amount.

Now the situation is even tenser; these people call me day in and day out, and tell me that I have to pay this huge amount.

I am really puzzled with this.

Where can I get help?

Please someone advice me.

ICICI Bank debited amount from credit card without my consent!

I have credit card of ICICI bank, which i rarely use and for more than one and half year i have used once by mistake for petrol only. In the month of feb-06, i received a call from ICICI lombard that they are providing a kind of facility like if i met with accidents... Etc. In nominated hospitals the sum incurred on that will be paid by ICICI credit card and the amount will be converted into easy e.m.i. I have opted. But they have started charging the amount from next month even i have agreed to that. I made a call to customer care credit card and ICICI lombard for the same. But they have not taken any care for the same.

When i received email from ICICI bank, i told to not deduct the amount as i am not interested if the case is so i.e. In the month immediately 1st bill was raised.

Now the bills rosed upto 14890.82+1133 with penalties and all. Even credit card division continually debiting amount without my consent till it reaches to the limit of credit card and i have further stopped the same. I have received letter from their legal heir for the payment of same and i went to videocone tower to consult with their legal heir and told the all the problems i was facing. After that they have reversed the amount raised the balance bill of rs. 5,715.93 on dated 22-11-06.

I don't no why this is happening. Without my consent how they have deducted and charged from my credit card. I wrote several letters and emails to them, but i think, if this is the way to run ICICI bank credit card division than this is one of worse experience i have. I also emailed to ICICI customer care regarding the same and urge them to stop the credit card from immediate effect.

In Housing loan account no. LBKAN00001660887 company is not disbursing full sanctioned amount depending upon only whims of local officer whereas cost of land is much higher, cost of construction being carried out is much higher, perhaps their valuer needs some personal dealings which I am not ready to undergo at any cost.

Further an emi of Rs 22,000 was calculated based on full sanctioned amount Rs 20 lack for 15 years terms and it was contracted that till last disbursement only interest shall be charged which they had been doing monthly but in this month they wrongly lodged my emi cheque which ultimately dishonoured and they are imposing fine over me which is not justified nor acceptable.

Please instruct them to release full sanctioned amount and to start emi only after final disbursement.

I had an outstanding balance of Rs. @2914 as on 1st aug , i purchased something on 2nd aug , and put a cheque of Rs.3000 on 6th august, which was debited from my account on 9th august and when on 15 aug i check the outstanding balance i have a balance of rs. 3500+ late payment fee of rs.300+service tax. If i call the customer care, those idiots ask me to wait for 8 more days! One thing which I'm damn clear about is clearing my balance and canceling the card.

RBI is the one which has to keep check on these private banks, but instead it is keeping quite and these private banks are looting india in all possible petty ways! HELL WITH U AND UR CUSTOMER CARE ICICI!

ICICI Bank has deducted INR 1999.00 towards my debit card protection, even after I denied it. I'm NOT at all interested for this feature. I need my money back. This is a clear case of fraud.

Scenes last 5 years i am using the icici credit card and i am not getting statement properly from last 2 years and i don't know for what i am paying, according to me my o/s is only Rs.2000 and bank is saying approx Rs.15000 even i don't have capacity to pay the amount now a days. So and i am saying to close my card to the executives from last 6 7 months now i am so disturb because of bank i want close and settle my card!

I want to bring in your kind notice the following facts;-
That I have requested for change of address by e-mail, I got the reply but I am sorry to inform you that the need ful has not beed till now, with the result I am not receiving my Card monthly statements & other Credit Card related letters.
I am no more using this Credit Card. I have requested to cancel this card as it was being misused by my Son in 4/2005 and another card was issued to me, which I am using now. This amount mentioned in your was reflected in the statement of my present card, which stands paid. Even afterwards also the purchased done through computer on this card was billed in the statement of my New Card and Nothing was ever due on this card e.g. your TXN dated 04-May-2010 etc. (File No 6171057).
It is requested that please check the record with my present credit Card i.e. 5177XXXXXXXX8019. and adjust the over charged amounts.

ICICI bank credit card cheated with me by using Free policy of lombard, I got call from sales Exec regarding a free policy of Lombard of Rs 20 Lacks, I she told me that this policy is absolutely free for good cust like u. I was not sure on the I recorded that call & ready for the same, But when I received my statement on on 25.09.07. I come to know that I was cheated by ICICI bank coa they ask me to pay Rs. 945/- per month for next 12 month. Then I contacted to cust care dept but they also not responding properly & avoided my call through disconnecting the line each time.

I have received an SMS today morning 10.55 am stating that a trasnaction of INR 1000.00 on 12.Dec 11 on my card xxxx0008 has been made at DUMMY ME ONLINE. I was surprised to read the SMS as I did not transact any deal today nor did I use the card on the online purchase, I wonder how this transaction took place and what was the cause for it.

However, later another SMS at 1.47 pm informed me that your trxn of INR 1000.00 on 12-Dec-11 using card 0008 at is reversed.
It seems something fishy is going on in the bank may be some insider is involved in the fraudulent activities.

Hi, i am Bashir s.Mulla, i used icici bank credit card more than one year, but in the month of Oct 2008, I received bill of Rs.6570.00, & that bill show Rs.4197.00 is reversal payment of june 2008, but fact is i already paid that payment on 3rd jully 2008, through SBI Cheque (cheque no.209631), even after received bill, i immediately talked with icici bank person, who told me you will receive corrected bill shortly, then i received double amount bill, & its increasing every month & now its become Rs.23000.00 & bank enrolled my name in CIBIL,
So in this case my fault is nothing, how i pay paid bill?, pls suggest us what i can do?

Seeing my hard earned reward points lapse, I decided to redeem them. The catalog looks all colorful (lists Electronics, leather items, and many others), but when you finally go to redeem online the options are vastly limited (mostly Paulo Coelho books, a few gift vouchers, and couple of board games).

From the limited options, I chose Mattel Scrabble for 995 points and received it promptly. It was "ok", but not great (the Scrabble set I owned earlier had counters too... you could keep track of your scores without pen and paper). In the "redeem online" dropdown menu, there was another Scrabble option but for 580 points more. I presumed that more points would mean better quality (and those score counters would surely be in). I selected it (thinking I can gift the first set to some newbie to scrabble), but to my shock, I received an identical item. I guessed it was sent by mistake, and emailed customer.care@icicibank.com immediately. Here's my email:

Recently I redeemed "Scrabble - English" against 1575 points. But, I got "Mattel Scrabble"
instead which goes for 995 points. Moreover, please note that last month I had redeemed
the exact same item (Matel Scrabble) and the reason for choosing a similar gift this month
is that I wasn't satisfied with the previous gift. And now, thanks to your fault, I have two of
them. :(

Please do the following:
* send the item I had originally asked for
* arrange for collecting the item I had not asked for (the packing for the scrabble box is intact)

I wasn't very sure this could be done easily. My guess was that ICICI would force me to retain
the unwanted gift and return my 580 reward points. This is when I got my second shock.
ICICI had deliberately sent this item (so, no question of returning the reward points). Here's
their response:

Wow! Isn't that an amazing way an innocent customer and his/her reward points are soon parted?
The item is not listed in their catalog. Even the name is different. To top it, they respond with a "fooled you".
Yeah, I know, I must have checked a box somewhere that would contain a line like "ICICI Bank
can send you whatever it pleases...".

I would not have realized how bad this rewards program is had I not tried out the reward points program for my
Manhattan card (sorry for cross-advertising), but they have outsourced it to IndiaPlaza.in. The variety of gifts is amazing.

So, watch out when you redeem your points. Do not assume any correlation between the number of points and the quality of gifts. :(
For now, my only option is to finish off my remaining points getting Parker Pens (if they are available) and shift my usage to other cards.
