$12.97 appeared today on online bank statement as Pending authorization. I called their [protected] number and was told the charge was coming from endicia. Endicia seems to be doing business "for" ebay and USPS, neither of which I do online business. I immediately called my card-issuing bank, who has cancelled my card. The person who answered the [protected] number said he would "cancel the charge as a courtesy", after I told him I was going to report it. Really?!

I, too, did not know what this $12.97 charge was for...have been unable to get a refund. Tried again this month to cancel...we'll see if I get a response.

I have had $12. + taken out of my checking acct. x2 months in a row. I never signed up for anything, or ordered anything from these people.
I guess I got scammed somehow. will be putting a stop on my bank card for this, or get a new card. Unbelievable!

I had the same issue 12.97 recurring withdrawal from a credit card we dont even use. I called the number and the woman didnt ask any questions at al not even personal information to verify who I was or what card the withdrawal was being taken out of, she seemed to know everything (scary) she just said ok I'll refund the 4 months and sent me a confirmation email and I didn't even give her my email address. Very suspicious and strange.. Needless to say we cancelled the card.

I also had a charge of $12.97 appear on my debit card from this organization. I do not recall ordering anything or authorizing such a charge. I will be speaking to my bank. I want this charge reversed asap/immediately!

For the last 4 months I have all been charges the 12.97 for some sort of subscription which I never purchased. I called Not the number listed, which gave me a Fraud line but this number instead: [protected].
What a scam! Can't understand that nothing has been done do stop them!

I just received a $95.88 charge from Freeshipping.com and would like to know how on earth they got my ATM card information? I immediately called them, then my bank account. While Freeshipping.com is supposedly refunding the money, the bank is running a national complaint for illegal charges against a personal bank account. Talk about being beyond angry! I can't believe this company can charge people's accounts when they should not even have that information. I am having my card cancelled and getting a new one and will never share that with anyone. I can't figure out how they got my number, and they said they were responding to an old email account from a year ago! That means they are totally illegal!

I called this number and the person answering said I had inquired about Free shipping.com and given time to validate signing up. I had not answered the validation. This person said within 2-5 days this charge would be taken off my bank statement. I will be looking for the refund!

Called them after seeing this charge every month for I don't know how long. I just assumed my husband had ordered something, as I almost never shop online. He is sensitive about being asked so didn't follow up sooner. The charge ( 12.97/month) is sort of a pre-paid shipping charge. So if you order something from Amazon, etc. you pay them the shipping fee, and then you contact these people and they "refund or credit" the money for shipping back to you. I know we have never done that so we have been out shipping fees paid to the purveyor as well as this company. I cancelled immediately.

This charge is somewhat of a trick by Current Catalog--beware people. I hope I can get a refund.

John, you know that your post isn't being read by the company, right? If you want your money back, contact the merchant directly. Posting your name, address, phone number, email and fax number (really?) on a complaints board isn't a good idea. Also, you might want to consider proof reading your comments before you post them. People are more likely to take you seriously if you post a well written statement rather than the incoherent mess you posted. Spelling, grammar and punctuation are important when trying to convey a message.

John, two things: First, proof reading what you've written is an important step if you want anyone to take you seriously. Capitalization, spelling and punctuation are essential to accurately getting your message across. Second, you know you aren't writing to the company on this site, right? It's probably not the best idea to put your name, address, phone number, email address and fax number(really?) out there on the internet for any and everyone to see. Contact the merchant directly, but posting empty threats on a complaint website isn't going to get you anywhere, much less get you a refund. Just some food for thought.

I didn't call to cancel my 30 day trail that I never signed up for and when they charged me I got a $40 overdraft fee from my bank. I will recommend to everyone I know not to use freeshipping.com. This is totally ridiculous and dumb!

I had the same problem on my checking account. I called the number listed and the representative said I ordered a textbook online from ecampus.com and forgot to cancel their services (which I did do). I had them cancel everything from me so I shouldn't get those charges anymore. I hope this helps.
Be very careful where you buy textbooks from!
