On june the 7th at about 1:30pm my car was parked at the front door of the restaurant. I went to my car to start it to get the air conditioning going because it was about 100 degrees outside. I accidently locked the keys inside the car with the engine running. I went back into the restaurant to inform my wife what happened. While inside I asked about two employees if they had a hanger or something I could use to get inside my car. One said we don't have anything. The other went to look for something but could not find anything. I then went to the Radio Shack store to the rear across the parking lot. The employees in there helped me with a make-shift device to try to use. After standing in the heat for about twenty-five minutes trying to get in the car I had no success. I then glanced into the restaurant and saw two emplyees looking out the window toward the corner of the store. I looked in that direction and saw my wife tyring to get a small piece of tree lim off of a tree to try to use as another device to help get into the car. I went over to assist her because I did not want her to get bruised by the branches in the tree. My wife then walked back to the car when the manager came out, stepped in her path, got in her face and said to her with a very demanding tone "You just going to deface my property?" He said the same thing to her about four times, staring at her as if she had committed a major crime. My wife stood silent. I then told the manager " Sir, all ew are trying to do is get in our car. We did not mean your tree any harm. We apologize." He then said, "THAT'S ALL I WANTED TO HEAR! And then he turned around and went back into the store. Ten minutes later I finally got into the car using the tree lim.
In 100 degree heat this man was more concerned about someone taking an 18 inch long by 1/4 inch round piece of lim off a tree than trying to do something to help.
He treated my wife with no respect as a woman.
He treated us both without respect as paying customers.
This man owes us an apology.
