Hyundai Durban South Door lock has not been fixed yet

On Monday (09/01/23) I drove all the way to Hyundai pinetown since I was called to say the parts to repair my door has arrived. I was told I don't need a booking. When I got there, I spent over an hour waiting just for a guy named shovolin to tell me that the guy who was supposed to help (Africa) is off and nobody else can help. I remained calm when they told me go back home and come tomorrow since Africa will be at work. I went back on Tuesday (10/01/23) and finally got to see Africa who made me wait yet again for such a long time only to tell me the parts are at a different location and they will have to bring it to Hyundai pinetown branch later that day. I was willing to wait but they offered me an alternative which was to go home and they will come and pick my car up from wherever I am, sort my door lock and bring it back to me to which I agreed. He has taken my phone number and I left. On Wednesday (yesterday I have received no call from anyone) today I have yet again received no call. I paid for the parts and for the labour, what's so hard for it to be done. I waited since November for the parts to come in and now I have to wait again for then to just install it.

Desired outcome: I want someone from Hyundai to come to my house tomorrow morning to fix my car and the fuel cost to drive all the way to pinetown a third time will be on Hyundai.

Hyundai Durban South Policy ,warranty and charges

I am very frustrated with Hyundai. This is my second Hyundai and Iv been advocating for Hyundai to all my friends and relatives bragging about the 7 year warranty. Little did I know it would be of no help to me

Hyundai is charging R6000 to check what's wrong with my car then they will determine if warranty will cover or not . So in essence I'm paying R6000 to access the warranty which I believe is a total rip off. They won't allow me to take it somewhere else to have it checked then claim from warranty if the issue is a warranty issue . So they are making it impossible for me to use this warranty. I have been told that this is a company policy ,in my view the company policy works against the customer if you need to pay thousands of rands to know if warranty covers my issue or not . If I am to be held accountable for this payment because of a policy then this policy should have been thoroughly explained at point of sale and it wasn't .

Secondly I'm only finding out now that this warranty changes after year 5 ,this was not explained to me at point of purchase. I was told it's a 7 year warranty which gave me peace of mind as a female driver. Maybe it's written somewhere and I should have read but the company is equally responsible to explain the benefits of the products they advertise at point of sale.

Desired outcome: I'd like Hyundai to do the necessary checks on my vehicle to determine if warranty will cover the damage and no cost to me .

Hyundai Durban South windscreen replacement

I purchased a brand new Hyundai Accent 2016 from Hyundai Edwin Swales on the 31st October 2016 and the month of December 2016 the windscreen cracked without any tampering whilst the vehicle was parked.
I then had to pay in cash to replace the windscreen (December) and all was good until Saturday 25th February when the same incident happened, again the car was parked off as no one was using it. I called in today and brought the vehicle in and spoke to the manager of that area where the car was taken to be assessed. I was not happy with the response that the only way I could be assisted is if I get a report from a glass specialist and he could generate a ‘goodwill” claim for me. I advised that I am not happy to do that as the is the 2nd windscreen that cracked and raised the possibility that there might be an issue on expansion or a factory error. I am not happy to run around getting reports and will not be happy to pay for windscreen again. Please can you assist as I cannot be repeatedly paying for windscreens. I brought the car to Hyundai for the replacement as I want to deal with one company.

I have the supporting emails to clarify the dealer principals response. I am my wits end trying to get someone at Hyundai to assist instead of being disregardful of my plight yet I make full payments every month still.

Hyundai Durban South Robbed into buying a defective car with poor service

My Wife and I decided on buying a rand new vehicle because we wanted peace of mind as there would be no faults on a bran new car, To our surprise the vehicle we bought from Hyundai is defective and the brakes shudder and is not effective, the car has industrial fall out all over the vehicle, we are first time owners of a brand new car and was not advised that a full inspection needed to be done, we were told to sign a document which is just formalities and taken to the vehicle with out knowing the car was defective. We emailed all faults of the vehicle to the dealer within 6 days and requested for three car to be returned and for the dealer to either replace the car or return our money. This was not the case as the dealer told us to go fly a kite and that we cannot return the vehicle, we contacted customer care and they offered no help into the matter and was told to contact the ombudsman for further assistance. We now have a car with defective brakes and defective paintwork, also the car dose not lock on take off which is a huge safety feature which we wanted on the car but was not informed that the car dose not come with this feature. We were also told that the vehicle come with cruise control, but this was not the case as the sales consultant had lied about this feature. ALL WE WANT IS OUR MONEY TO BE RETURNED OR THE VEHICLE REPLACED WITH A NEW CAR WITHOUT DEFECTS AND FOR THE CAR TO LOCK ON TAKE OFF
