Hydroxatone refusal to accept return

Called to complain that wife didn't want to continue the product, the price was too high for what It was supposed to do. I had ordered after watching TV ad for it, was supposed to be free, just s/h, Instead I got a bill for two packages, , split bill, one to be charged now, one a month from now. Called two days after the end date, sorry no refund, even though wife in Hospital, and the end date was on Saturday. i Sent it back along with the unopened package, now I'll have to fight with my credit card company.

I ordered a free sample from Hydroxatone in January 2017. I didn't like the product and decided not to order. In May 2017, my bank account was charged $209.95( 3 payments charge, 69.95 each). I called and emailed Hydroxatone to question the charge. They told me if you don't return the "free sample", you will be charged. But they told me that they will not ship any products in the future. That was June 1st. In June 10th, I received email from Hydroxatone told me they shipped again on June 10th and my account will be charged $69.95. I called and email them, no reply from Hydroxatone. This is the most deceptive business I have ever known. Be aware!

I had received products from hydroxatone unauthorised. I had gone through a few processes in looking in to buying the product although changed my mind due to the expense of the later costs. I received several emails asking me to confirm by credit card order which I never did. A few weeks later the product arrived and I left for holidays. I hve since returned and phoned to cancel the order within the 30 day risk free period. Today the first payment of 69.95 has been detected from my credit card. Upon speaking to a highly highly unprofessional representative informed there was nothing she could do. Upping telling her I would be lodging a complaint she laughed and told me to have a good day. I'm am completely dissatisfied. That one they have taken money to receive the product unauthorised and 2 the disgusting manner in which they speak to customers. I want my money returned ASAP or I will seek action with the department of fair trading in australia and also my credit card company.

This is the worst company when it comes to customer service I have ever dealt with. I originally started to order the product I had seen advertised on TV but never finished placing my order. After I read the terms and agreement I exited out of the screen and never received a confirmation number.

About a few weeks later I noticed I had been charged for shipping and I now have a package on my door step I never wanted. When trying to contact customer service It took 2 weeks for someone to return my call then I was told obviously I submitted the order other wise I wouldn't have it in my hands. I told them I don't believe I should have to pay for return shipping sense I never even received a confirmation number that I would be receiving anything. The response I was given was "well then do you want to pay the 139.00 instead", off course I don't what type of answer is that. I received the same attitude for the so called management also.

On 12/11/2017 I sent this product back priority mail, but I thought that included a tracking number, turns out, no you have to ask for it. Yes this is my mistake for not knowing. Its now 1/3/2017 and I have been charged 69.95 to my bank and Hydroxatone is saying they never received my return package and how do they know that I am not just telling them I returned it and didn't sense I didn't want to pay the return shipping in the first place.

Now the post office is doing a search for the "lost" package and I'm out 70 more dollars. I am a full time student I can't afford this type of bull [censored] and neither can any one else in this economy. I have field a fraudulent charge with my bank and thanks to Chase they said they will deal with them and credit my account. I have now had to cancel that card so this company can now longer steal my money.

4-5-11
I am writing to you because on January 18, 2017 you charged me for another shipment of your product, I didn’t expect one so soon after the first because hardly any had been used of my first shipment. I called to see why and was told I would be getting one each month unless I canceled so I did, I was told that when my package came do not open it and send it back to you with a code written on the front of the package, I did that on 1-19-11 at my local post office.
I waited a month before I called to see where my refund was, the reason I haven’t received it is because you are behind in sending out refunds and processing my return. She put in a refund request to corporate office so that I would get it.
I have now waited another month and no refund, so I called again and got a horrible person named Bream, right from the start she was short and curt with me, I have been very understanding through this process and have waited, and waited for my $99.90 to be returned to me as I know you now have and have had for some time the returned product. Well now I am upset about this thanks to Bream! She acted like I really put her out asking for my money back and why I haven’t received it yet! She had the nerve to tell me to “keep it professional” when I expressed to her as to the way she was treating me.
Then to top it all off they will NOT give me your e-mail address or phone number, I had to get it off my bank statement! Now I am getting worried. Is this some sort of scam? Will I get my money back? I see you advertise on TV constantly so what’s up?

I just would like to have my refund as I sent the product back to you as instructed.
Thank You,
Denzel

Hydroxatone is a SCAM! I got my first treatment and discovered they had discovered they had charged me far more than the $3.99 delivery charge. The next month they took out 74.00. I had my bank call them. They promised to return the money and cancel my account. I got an e mail saying they canceled it. The money was never returned. Then I got an e mail from Postal Delivery which i have never heard of saying I had to print out an address label and go get the pkg. since I have never heard of postal delivery, I had no idea what this was about.
I had changed my credit card and to my horror discovered this same company had taken out another $70.00. After checking out the unauthorized withdrawal, I discovered it was withdrawn in a foreign company and I was charged a fee for it being a foreign transaction.
How did they withdraw this when I had a new credit card. It said it was an automatic non-pin withdrawal but all they had was the old credit card number. Even my pharmacy could not do a new non-pin withdrawal without my new credit card number.
HOW DID THEY DO IT?
I am going back to my bank to demand that they track this transaction.

ordered the Hydroxatone, a free trial offer, for $7, 75 S/H ask for my credit card for the $7.95. when i got a statement from my credit card there was 69.99 took off my card.I was furious since i DID NOT give them permission for this $69.99 offer, They tried to force me to buy this and my answer was ALWAYS NO! in fact i called and told them not to take my money from my card, Three weeks later i got a statement where it was took from my card.i talked to a Human about not wanting this high price offer.I am Furious, mad, angry that they did not get it that i did not want this product .I mean what part ofg NO do they not understand. This money they took from me hurt my financial situation since i am on Disability and am on a budget, trying to survive.I want them to pay for what they have done to me and my health. For thisd has me crying everyday trying to make ends meet with what little i draw on my Social Security Disability. This is a fraud to take someones money when you plainly tell them NO! to every product they try to sell you, and... the eye cream is a bag of lies.Patricia Jordan/ancientdestiny_69@yahoo.com

I phoned in on a TV offer for a free trial. They sent me three bottles. The product did not work. I called thirty two days after receiving the product and I was informed I could not return the product and I would be billed for all three bottles. This is a scam and I have no options. I have been receiving threatening letters form them and when I call I have no recourse.

I foolishly ordered a Hydroxatone product (AM/PM) after watching an infomercial which promised: Pay ONLY $6.98 packaging and handling. When I ordered the product, no costs were mentioned other than the $6.98. Both infomercial and ordering said that product could be returned within 30 days. The letter that arrived with the product advised that I would be billed $69.95.

I mailed the product back to Hydroxatone on May 25 (having until May 29th before my card would be charged), sending it Priority Mail "Signature Confirmation". I then called Hydroxatone and spoke with Marcus, x763 to inform Hydroxatone that the product was enroute. He asked for my pymt ID: I told him I only had the Postal Service's signure confirmation number. He took that number and the call ended.

Then, I called back with a question and asked to speak with a supervisor. Bobby, x798, claimed to be a "Sr. Floor Representative, and told me that I should have been given a payment ID #. Without that number, he said the package I sent would be returned unopened. Then, he turned on the snake oil salesmanship and cut me a "deal". He would cancel the original $69.95, claim me as a relative, and send me a new product for $45.

This morning I spoke to two MORE "Sr. Floor Rep". When I started talking about the complaints on this board, Jakyyae, x758, immediately told me that all billing would be cancelled. We'll see.

NEVER TAKE "NO" FROM SOMEONE WHO LACKS THE POWER TO SAY
"YES".

Hydroxatone lashatone

I bought lashatone from the company hydroxatone. They claim progress in two weeks. I didn't have progress in two months. When I called the company to tell them it did not work. The woman named Arial, was rude and self rightous. I asked her to let me return it and cancell this order. Now I am finding from other complaints, they still debit your account, I hope not, I might as well have put water on my lashs for all its good for. I intend to notify my state consumers board as well. DON'T BUY IT!

Please do not fall for no commercials about Lashatone...from the company to the product to the customer service is all absolutely very poor...I heard the commercial on 106.7 fm and they said that hydroxatone were giving away lashatone as christmas specials and I called to see if i could get one too, they said yes but i had to pay a shipping fee of about $9 something...which i agreed...but when i get the package there were 3 lashatones and a huge bill...i called the customer service and said i wanted to return it so do not take out any money from my accout, but the girl said very rudely 'as long as we recieve your package within 15 days you money will not be taken out..here is your return number', when i asked her for the address she reluctantly gave me the address and before we could end the call well she hung up on me absolutely rudely, as if not wanting to answer any questions.
PLEASE do not fall for their products..by the way i used the lashatone for abt 3-4 days and my eyes were burning along with it my face felt swollen the next day all the 4 times i tried it...thereafter I knew this is something that may not suit everyone..i feel there is some kind of steroids in them.

Yea, water that burns your eyes! I called to recieve my "free" trial of lashatone and couldn't even get a real representative on the phone. The recording kept trying to talk me into buying all of this extra stuff and I got mad and said forget it, I don't want any of it and they sent it anyway with a $200 bill. I called and tried to be civil and return it and they wanted me to pay to ship it back. I already had money drafted out of my account to pay for shipping to me and I didn't want the crap in the first place.

Hydroxatone Automatic withdrawal from my checking even though I returned product

Ordered what I thought was just a sample size of Hydroxatone anti-aging cream and got two full size to try for 30 days. Tried for two weeks set bottles on counter in bathroom to return. Friend stopped by with her 3 year old kid and it got into the bottles and put it all over everything, dog included. Didn't know it until went back to see what her kid was doing, needless to say I was pissed but I didn't yell at kid. Wiped bottles off put back in one of the gray shipping things and tapped shut to mail back. Befor coould mail back got package in mail, called to see what crap they had shipped me that I hadn' t asked for. I hadn't even had the hydroxatone for the 30 days you were supposed to be allowed. They had sent me some vitamins I said I don't want them give me my money back and I am going to return them. They said they would let me have them for the $33.94 which was half the price. I was tired and I thought ok. Then I went and realized a day or two later I don't need them so I circled their address, wrote on package return to sender and put in mail box. I had also told them I don't want their hydroxatone because it isn't any better the Avon's Anew that I have been using. I wrapped the gray shipping package in brown paper wrote my return address on it put a label with their address on it and mailed it. So far they have caused me $350.00 in overdraft charges because I didn't know they were taking anything out of my account so I am really pissed. I return the product and they steal from my account anyway without my knowing at first. It is a real scam.

Hydroxatone Deceptive Advertising/Scam

This company advertises their product (under eye treatment) on tv as a free trial offer/no obligation otherwise for the cost of $6.95 for the shipping and handling. In my case, they sent me three jars of their under eye treatment with an invoice for $209.85. I have tried to contact them by email (customer service) and writing letters to try to return the stuff to them, but all I get from them is threatening form letters requesting payment. The latest letter is a Notice of Bad Credit Assignment. I am luckier than most of the people I have read about who complained about this product because when I immediately realized what was happening I cancelled the credit card I used for the $6.95 charge so they were unable to charge me the $209.85. Listen up people - when you realize what has happened you can do this, too.

This has been a nightmare, and I am in the process of writing them another letter. And if I do not get satisfaction, I am turning them over to the Missouri Attorney General's office.

I say enough - too many people are getting scammed by this company in the same way as what happened to me.

My mother saw a commercial for Hydroxatone which was advertised as a free trail -all you pay is $7.99 shipping and handeling charge. She tried the cream, and a few days later went to the dermatologist because she has red blotches all over her faces. Let me know how to send the product back.

Hydroxatone Credit Card Fraud

I received a package in the mail from Hydroxatone when I had NEVER ORDERED anything from them! They somehow accessed my credit card and made a small charge ($4.00). The invoice in the package states that I owe a balance of $142.85 and that I will be billed $2.95 on April 16th, $69.95 on May 22, and $69.95 on June 21. We immediately called our credit card and informed them that we had NEVER purchased anything from this company. The credit card company removed the charge and we immediately closed the credit card so that no further charges would be incurred.

THIS COMPANY IS EVIL AND A SCAM!

I got my money back through my Credit card company, how ever initially they refused to stop the order, also they claimed that had not taken any money from my account. It cost me £30 import duty to the UK. The add is not clear, they are actually saying you have a free trial, if you like it you pay for it, if you don't like it you pay for it and continue to pay for it.
The product it s self, does not have the magical claimed, I am a very lucky 60 year old, with hardly any wrinkles, it certainly has not softened the few I have got. It appears to be a basic moisturiser, like one I can buy in any chemist.
If it had the ingredient it claims and was in a tube not a jar( it deteriorates when exposed to the atmosphere) it would make the skin look nicer and more flexible, it is simply a get rich quick scam.

This company is a complete SCAM they state its a free trial but fail to tell the amount you will be billed regardless after 30 days.

$300 'unrefundable' charged for missing the 30 day mark by 6 days, even with unopened and unsed packages still in USPS packaging..

Hydroxatone cancelled, still deducted from account

ordered trial of hydroxatone, was not satisfied with product. I called Bellezza Products, LLC.

Was told had to wait for next shipment to cancel. Was given an address and a number that needed to go on the return address. Was told to take to post office and mail return reciept requested.

Product didn 't arrive. Thought cancellation had taken place. In checking bank statement it showed that another $69.95 was deducted from my account.

Again contacted company, explained what had happened. Was told that I had to return product in order to cancel. I explained I could not return a product that I did not receive.

Hydroxatone Scam

Free trail is not free.. you first must pay shipping, then if you use the product you must pay for it. They do not disclose the real price of $139.00, if you return the product in 30 days you also pay the return shipping cost. They use a deceptive billing letter indicating they have sent you numerous letters when they have not. Customer Service is rude and refuses to help you resolve issues, that is until you mention "Fraud", then they get a supervisor on the phone that does help you.

Hydroxatone Bait you for more money

I ordered the Hydroxatone eye treatment thinking that I would only pay the s/h fee of $6.95 for one sample, then be given the option to order more at the regular price if I chose. Well, when I got the 'sample(s)', I was given a bill for $209.85, I did not understand why because they did not explain that when I ordered over the phone. They also tried to sell up other products for a low intro fee or s/h type fee of which I told them no, no, no... So far, no bills for those yet. However, when I tried to cancel the Hydroxatone and return it (I did not even open any of them to even use them, I just sent them back), it took over a week (10/29/09 rec'd to 11/7/09)to get through the phone lines because of the extremely long hold. I'm sure they do that on purpose. I was not happy about this scam at all. They should be ashamed of themselves doing business like that.

I heard the add for Hydroxatone on Mixx 96.1 radio station. Try free for just S & H. I received the product plus a bill for $98.00, and I was on Auto Shipping. I had to get my Visa Chase card involved because I was being billed for another shipment, which I did not approve or ask for. Then I received another box at my Post Office, and refused shipment. I still was sent another bill. I don't know how many times I called them, but they were no help. Chase Visa blocked all further, and past payments from the company, and that did the trick. The quality was very poor of this facial crème, and my face broke out. I couldn't even use the rest of the first jar due to sensitive skin. I learned a lesson that nothing is free.

I Cheryl Perry was also expecting a change, with this product, what I recieved was blotches of dry flackly skin under my chin, and around my nose.So I had to go see a dermotologist @the worst part about it is I don't have that kind of money, So I was hung out and left out to dry, as a matter of speaking. Now heres the good part, their company said all I had to pay was $1.99 for shipping@handling, HA!So I pay that and figure it's done. Now they won't stop billing me.It also screwed up my credit.I'm very upset, I wish I could get my money back, and more for the Dr's bill, and for my pain and suffering.Next Sucker step on up.Cheryl Perry (disappointed in Bonita Springs, Fl.)

I saw a compelling ad for Hydroxatone on the internet. Since it gives a 30-day free trial period I figured I would give it a try. I began using it as soon as I received it, looking forward to the awesome results they advertise. No results in a week, no results in 2 weeks, no results in 3 weeks, so I called & emailed them (11/29/10) to let them know that I had not experienced any of the advertised results and I did not want them to send me any more of the product or charge me for the product.

12/2/10 they took $69.95 from my account (I had used a debit card). I wrote & reiterated the fact that I had told them I did not want a product that didn't work & did not want to be billed for a product that didn't work & I didn't want, yet they had taken $69.95 from my account. I demanded that my money be returned to me.

12/13/10 I received a message from them stating that they would refund my money as soon as they received the unused product & they were sorry for any inconvenience.

1/11/11 I sent another email asking where my refund was since I had returned the unused product exactly as they had specified.

1/18/11 I sent another email to them after talking with my bank to see if Hydroxatone had refunded my money yet. Instead of refunding me, they were attempting to remove another $69.95 from my account while I was on the phone with my bank! I had already had to put a hold on my card, but when I found this out I had to completely stop my card & get a new one. In my email to them on 1/18/11 I told them I knew that they were attempting to remove more money from my account & that my bank was also aware of it. I again told them to refund my money & added that they are unethical, reprehensible, and behaving fraudulently.

On 1/21/11 they claimed that I was already refunded! I wrote back & told them that I had not been refunded & reiterated that my bank knew what was going on.

On 1/26/11 they said I hadn't been refunded because I didn't send enough of the product back! I wrote back the same day to let them know that I had returned the unused portion exactly as they had told me to do & I still wanted my money back.

On 2/4/11 I received the following message: "I do apologized for the inconvenience and frustration that you may have incurred. However, as an employee of this company, I must protect it when we are accused of scamming or false advertising. When someone places an order, we specifically tell them, that they will receive a 30 day risk-free trial. Which means, whomever orders the product can try it free for 30 days, with no risk or obligation to buy it. That is also clearly stated on the invoice. It’s to protect you (the consumer) and our company.
Once again thank you for your time and support. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us and any one of our representatives will be happy to assist you."

To which I replied, on the same day: "Then where is my refund? And why did you continue to attempt to take money from my account when I had told you I did not want the product because it didn't work (before the month trial period was over) AND after I had already returned the product?! If the company was really as honest as you claim, then why have your people done such rotten, dishonest things? GIVE ME MY REFUND! If I don't receive it within a week, you will be reported for behaving fraudulently and very dishonestly. I have been more than patient with you people and given you MANY chances to return my money. No more. Either I get my money within a week or you are being reported."

It is now 2/11/11 and I am reporting them everywhere I can think of! They also caused me an overdraft charge because they took my money out of my account when they claimed they would not. So even though I have only insisted that they give me back the $69.95, they actually owe me another $24 for the overdraft fee!

In september 2010 I ordered the cream anti-wrinkle complex and i paid these but the company continuos charging my credit card and i can't communicate with them because the lines always long hold. However, when I tried to cancel the Hydroxatone and return it (I did not even open any of them to even use them, I just sent them back), it took over a week (12/06/10 rec'd to 12/10/10)to get through the phone lines because of the extremely long hold. I'm sure they do that on purpose. I was not happy about this scam at all.

I agreed to a 30-Day Risk-Free Trial for $7.95. They billed by credit card for the $7.95 plus an additional $6.00 and sent an invoice with the product for $133.90; saying that they would bill my credit card in two equal installments. They also have the following notice on the bill in bold letters "Calling your credit card company before calling our Customer Service department could cause delays and issues with your credits." HEADS UP! Call your credit card company IMMEDIATELY! Change your credit card number before they charge your card again. Then, report them to the FTC, Better Business Bureau, and the USPS for mail fraud.

I also have been billed for this product which I did not order! I did send for samples - "Money back guarantee" and returned the samples since they caused an allergic reaction. I have a USPS delivery confirmaton. But was still billed. In order to get the return confirmation number I had to try 3 different phone numbers (disconnected) before I finally reached Hydroxatone. After talking with "Stanley" at extension 805, he agreed to cancel any order from me AND return my initial S&H costs. This has not happened and I have now been billed for a month's supply. I will be contacting the AG's office in New Jersey to find out which office licensed this company and place a formal complaint.

The same thing happened to me as with A Ballard. I too thought I would be getting a sample only. They sent my bill for $209. which I have refused to pay. I called for a return authorization number, which I received, but they never mentioned that there would be no refunds. What a scam! I have an unopened product that I do not want, but if I return it I don't get my money back.

Hydroxatone is a scam. They say you are getting a risk free trial and that you will receive a jar of there product and you pay the shipping. if you do not want the product you can return it and cancel at anytime. Well that is until you receive it and they send you 2 extra jars that you did not order. I have tried for weeks to call and cancel my membership so that i can send the product back. Thay state you must cancel before returning the product.
I have sat on the phne multiple time for hours and no one answers the phone on any of their websites. THIS IS REDICULOUS . . . . Today i wrote them a letter and i am sending it with a conformation attatched. I also have threatened if they do not cancel my membership i will file a lawsuit against the company.
Dont fall for anything that says free trial and then try to cancel when they say you can at anytime because they have made it impossible to.

Hydroxatone Refuse to stop charging or cancel

THe ad states you get the 1st month for 6.95 and then if you sdon't cancel you will be sent more product at 69.95 a month. When I called to cancel I was told that the product is actually twice that price and that I was behind in paying! Even though I cancelled, the charge came through again.

I found a direct lead number to a "Tanya" at [protected] and her fax is either [protected] . When you call be ready for some very rude behavior and speach.

I cancelled my cc and ordered a new one to stop the charges.

I foolishly ordered Hydroxatone for the sample price of 7.95. Upon the audio request for other items, my answer was no, but I was mailed 3 jars, I did not order and am now being told 3 payments of 69.95 will be billed to my checking account. Tried calling customer service, put on hold for hours. I am at my wits end with these people.

Hydroxatone Can't reach customer svc for return

I ordered trial of the Hydroxatone product from ad on TV. When I check the internet (unfortunately too late) the next day for reviews and info I noticed all the MANY complaints about the product and the almost impossible refund process. There have evidently been many people experiencing what I am now. I immediately tried to calltheir customer service line which has been out of service for over a week now and may have never worked. I then called the order line on their website and was assured by a manger named Rick that I had nothing to worry about and he would cancel my order and have customer service call me. No one ever called so now several days later I called the order line again since the customer service line is still not working. I talked to a supposed manager again this time his name was Gary. He assured me that he would do the same thing that Rick promised. The customer service is supposed to call me back with an RMA so that I can return the unopened trial products and cancel my auto ship agreement. I have also sent them an email today to their customer service address asking for an RMA # too. I am probably going to cancel my credit card today just because I don't want them to take any more money from me than the $6.95 they already deducted. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT OPERATE ON A VERY PROFESSIONAL BASIS AND I THINK THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO DO BUSINESS ANY MORE.

When I got the bills after I cancelled there both over 100.00 . They both have the same customer number on them so I assume they are the same company trying to rip people off. The products don't work for me and I'm on a limited income so I cancelled. I can't pay this and I won't . Oh and these two companies have the same return address. Anyone who wants to cancel should be able to with no problems, but that's not the way it is with these people. It's not right, I agree with what all the others are saying.

Please everyone who is being billed over and over again by these thiefs Hydroxatone, look up or google your attorney general for your state, write them and put in a compaint to them. It is the only way to stop them from stealing from us, every month. Also close your account with that checking or debit card. Your bank will open a new one, so they cannot hit you anymore.

I am trying to sue, I will let you know what happen's. Do it now!

I also responded to the TV ad which stated a free month to try their product. I called for information as to the procedures for returning the two extra jar (which I did not want) and did not order. I was given the information so I returned the to unused jars. My call was before the month was up. They tried to get me to agree to keeping the jars at a reduced rate, $50.00 each. I told them I had tried their product an could find not improvement so I would return their product. Then about a month later my credit card was charged $69.94. I immediately called them. The rude rep said that they had no record of my return. He informed me that there was no free jar of product. I had to pay for it. That is not what they advertise. I faxed him copies of my postal receipt and wrote a letter. He said he would research the problem. Then one month later I got this month's credit card statement and --here is another charge for $69.95. I am going to the bank and file a report of this fraudulent activity. This a total scam and this company should be charges with stealing from people and false advertising. Everything said in the other reports is exactly the same for me. It's a BIG SCAM!

I also fell for the T.V. commercial and got the recorded message when I called. When you call, they already have your name and address from the phone #. I was stupid enough to give them my credit card # so they could put the $7.95 shipping charge on it. The commercial was for a 'free trial' of hydroxatone at no risk. I couldn't stop them from sending the stuff, because a recorded message can't hear you say'NO' to it . It was sent priority mail with no return name or address, only a zip code. The invoice said that my free trial ended at the end of the month and after that my credit card would be charged $69. and some cents for 3 months. That was a total of over $200.00 supposedly for the other 2 jars that I didn't want sent in the first place. I used the first jar for about 3 weeks then called for a return # to send the other 2 jars back. The girl I talked to sounded like I was going to have to pay for the 'free trial' one because I had used it. I questioned her and got a lot of double talk and finally got a # from her to return the 2 full jars and also the almost empty jar. I cancelled my credit card in case they try to charge me for the free jar. I hope I got the right credit card. They are just one big scam and shouldn't be allowed to advertise on T.V.

I agree about this people say about hydroxatone company crap! This company should be sue because they kept promising their customer this and that. Next thing you know, they're just ripping you off! I should've been charge only the shipping. Then, when I saw the package in my mailbox, they charge me $141.79! This is outrage! I also fell for the "free Trial" scam, and after being on hold for a half hour was told by a "Nick" that it was free to TRY, THEN Id have to pay, and not only that they sent me THREE jars when the ad said ONE! I have a bill of 247.80, thinking I was only going to be charged the S&H of 7.95 for the 1 jar! I said I was returning everything, didn't want anything taken out of my account beyond the 7.95, and of course I HAVE TO PAY to return what THEY took upon themselves to send me! I as well am changing my bank card so they cannot charge me ANYTHING, and I voiced my concerns to Nick, when typing in thier email address I was taken to all these sites of complaints, who brushed it off as complaints are commonly made by people who either can't pay thier bill or are too stupid to realise what they agreed to. FURIOUS doesn't even begin to cover it. They better lose my info, FAST

Hydroxatone False Advertising

Company advertises 30 free trial. Even when the product is purchased there is no word as to their true intentions.
I tried canceling the order in time to make sure I am not billed. I was advised that I would have to send the two jars back. That I could keep the jars for a special discount, however, if I did not want to be billed I needed to send the jars back. This is never noted in their advertising nor on the receipt that was issued at the time of purchase. Supposedly there was to be an invoice with the product that would have outlined the instructions. I do not have an issue with sending something back, if I know this in advance of ordering the product. The hassle of having to go to the post office to send a package back has to be taken into account when ordering the product.

I also sent for the dark circles wonder cream, it woildn't be so bad if they weren't such high pressuring! My bill stated $169$, they are consistent, I'll agree, but also never snet the free bottle of accellerator! I will put this cream in a jar, send back the empties, & if they DARE charge anymore money I will sue them, I am so sick of these happy looking people, these lies & the long story, I had to sit through, as if I were getting the elixer of life!I loath liar's, they'd better accept those jars, as I just got them 5 days ago! Why then does eveyone say the same thing? Do you realize how much they want? I ordered the Cindy Crawford cream, but they never charged my account, they waited for me to give the word! Crawford must maintain her reputation as does Victoria Principal, & the other w/ L-Argeline[which Hydroxatone has, also] There was NO high pressure w/ miss Crawford..The first Hydroxy, was a recording..AFTER giving the credit card, , only then did they "Hit ME" w/ the "wouldn't you rather order for 3 months NOW..at 169$.? NO, I said, the recording actuallu turned into "HAL" w/ an attitude, asking, no saying "really? why not...look Hydroxy, if you don't want your new creation to end up on tv' as a fraud, you'd better leave my card number alone!Free.shipping&hand...you said FREE but never sent FREE BOTTLE OF...Toner, as seen on card in b/w! This stuff is an obvious scam. Same ol' "free" but you have to pay inflated postage costs and, oh by the way, we'll be charging your credit card 70 bucks every month from now until eternity until you badger us so bad we might stop. These people KNOW they are lying when they write the ad copy. The FDA is NOT here to protect consumers', folks, its' here to protect the drug companies. The government will NOT enforce truth in advertising laws. Don't be fooled by this scam. NO CREAM WILL MAGICALLY MAKE AGE-LINES DISAPPEAR, PERIOD. Get used to it.

Hydroxatone False Advertising and Fraud

I was given an advertisement by my 74 year old mother requesting that I order the products advertised by hydroxatone. My mother did not have a credit or debit card. I have the advertisements. The advertisement states a 30 day risk free trial. I called the number and spoke to Mark. Mark informed me that I just had to pay the shipping fee and that I was not enrolled in any program or under any obligation to buy the product. I ordered the product on behalf of my mother. When the product came, I gave the product to my mother unopened.

I cancelled my debit card due to losing it. I received a letter in November indicating that I owed a balance for the product purchased through Hydroxatone. I called them and indicated that I did not order their product. (I had to wait 5 minutes on the phone which was my cell phone) The representative told me that I was obligated to return the product in 30 days if not satisfied. I kept the advertisements that my mother gave me. There is no such statement, plus I made sure that I had asked Mark to make sure that I was not enrolled in any program. I told the representative that his company totally misrepresented their intent and that I was going to report them and that I did not want to be billed for their product.

On December 22, 2008, I picked up my mail and I had a past due notice from Hydroxatone. I spoke to James at extension 511. I again repeated my claim against his company. He stated that he I was obligated to return the product. I once again stated that my mother did not see any disclosure in the package and that his company was false advertising. I also stated that I have a copy of the advertisement and notes stating what was said and done. I have stated that I have contacted consumer affairs as well as the attorney generals office. I have made them aware that I have PTSD which this action is causing me physical distress as well as his company is taking advantage of the elderly. I asked to speak to Jane Manning, whose name appeared on the past due notice. James indicated that she was not available and could not speak to me. James indicated that the previous customer service person would be calling me back to resolve the issue. James took my phone number.

I visited their website as their message that their voice mail has concerning customer service states that you will get faster results in communication. I visited their site. There is not any contact number for customer service. I looked under private policy...the company is owned by Bellezza, LLC and there is a click here email address which when I click my computer does not recognize as a legitimate address.

Ordered and received two jars of their undereye cream. Was advertised to be available for the cost of shipping. But with
the product, there was an invoice which had 2 future payments scheduled, at the bottom. I called and cancelled right away, but that didn't stop them from charging my card for these two scheduled payments whose date was more than a month away. I am livid about this. I called and got a return number and sent the whole thing back with a letter instructing them to return my money within 48 hrs of when they received it. So far they have not. But, it's just been barely 48 hrs.

I ordered the "Free Trial" just to try if it really works when i received the product it came with 1Radialabs 2Hydroxatone Anti Wrinkle Cream & 1Hydroxatone Toner I sent them an e-mail that i want to cancel my order then they e-mailed me back telling me that they were unsuccessful for locating my account the 1st charge was $3.95(Radialabs) & $3.88(Hyroxatone) for the Free Trial but because they sent me the Free Trial with the toner and another hydroxatone anti-wrinkle cream they charged me again for additional $69.95 every month that's why i always get an over draft fee on my bank account and they are not even sending me their ineffective product anymore they are just charging my account continuously without my consent. I've tried to e-mail them again but i didn't get any response i'm planning to pay the overdraft fee charge on my account, the extended overdraft fee and close my bank account then i would Open another bank account. The attached photo shows 2charges on my account of their ineffective product.. IT'S A SCAM.. I hope people wouldn't order that it's a waste of money seriously..

Requested their product (like my doctor's office or the dept store). When received, immediately called to cancel and say I would mail back products since I did not order them. Got into a shouting match with their male rep. I am a 67 yr old woman and my nickname is Mighty Mouse, so I won that round. He did not want to give me a canc #. Told him they were scams, bait and switch, etc. and I had talked to the Atty. General and US Postal Inspectors offices and was told I did not have to mail back unsolicited product. I got the canc # . Mailed products back with delivery confirmation for under $6 and called the following to conplain: US Postal Inspector (Criminal Investigations) [protected] and Federal Trade commission 1-877-FTC-HELP. Lucky that experience cost so little. They also reversed the shipping chg without my asking.

These guys are the [censor] of the earth! Any idea how I can inflict as much damage on their company as possible through my complaints (e.g. better business bureau, new jersey attorney general)?

Hydroxatone is a scam. As a former employee I can honestly tell you that. They prey on the old and gullible. They dont care what your situation is, they just want to take as much money out of you as the possible can. The tell you that its a 30 day free trail offer and it is but what they dont tell you is that you will be shipped out a 90 day supply, they then try and talk you into keeping it by offering you deals and discount. The product cost $39.99 but the jack the price up to $79.99 to try and get the most money out of you. If you do want to try the product ask for the $39.99 one-shot and hear them say HUH?
Oh yeah, and those extra charges that appear on your credit card, lets take a wild guess as to how they appear there. Hydroxatone shares your credit card information with varies third party affiliates. Isnt that illegal. They tell you they dont but they do. Someone needs to audit them.
I believe they are running some boiler room type scam, while selling some overpriced product that does not work. Truth is there are many cheaper priced brands to do a lot more then this promises.
Heres my advice, place the order, get your product, call back and complain that what you got isnt what you ordered (because its not going to be) and threaten them with going to the BBB and your lawyer. After that the will refund your money and tell you to keep the product instead of dealing with BBB. That way you can really try the product for FREE.
Seriously someone needs to audit them.

I wish I had researched this company online before I ordered their "Risk Free Trial". I, too, ordered for my mother, as she does not have a bank card. I also spoke with a machine. The machine DID NOT inform me that they would be sending a 2-month supply----just "Risk Free Trial". My first thought is---I did not order the second jar of this product, just the 30-day trial. Approx. 10 days after receiving the product, my mom called to cancel and wrote a letter stating the same. Customer Service never gave her a "Return Ship #", nor did they ask for the product back. I have went to their website online just to see what the terms of the 30 Day Risk Free Trial are, as I do remember my initial phone call to them very well-------the website does state that they will send the 2nd month supply, however, also states that you may cancel "AT ANY TIME". I then received my bank statement with the $69.95 charge, followed by a $24.95 charge, both charged on the same date. I assumed both charges were associated with Hydroxatone, so when I called Customer Service to address the fact that my mom had cancelled w/i the 30 day period (and why should I have to pay for something I never ordered in the first place--2nd jar), I also addressed the $24.95 charge. They told me they were not responsible for that charge and had no clue who was. I then went to my bank to cancel my card and ask where this $24.95 charge came from-----Budget Savers. I filled out the paperwork to dispute the charge, like others. Tonight I decided to research this myself via the internet and this is what I found----Hydroxatone had sold my card information to Budget Savers ---I HAVE NEVER TALKED TO BUDGET SAVERS--AND FURTHERMORE, I GUESS HYDROXATONE DID KNOW WHERE THE $24.95 CHARGE CAME FROM! Yes, this is a SCAM!

Hydroxatone company charges and claims to be free trial...cancel at any time

This company offers a free trial for 12.95 they ship the product and tell you that you can cancel at anytime, it is not true. They continue to charge your account even after you contact them to cancel. I had to cancel my credit card and order a new one just to stop their activity.

They will not give you a written confirmation of cancellation and their replies are basically unintelligible. One email from a customer rep says "u was charged". Excuse me, my 2 year old grandson can do better than that.

I did some research online at stop rip offs and find many complaints form others about the exact same practices. I wish I had seen those before I ordered. Silly me..I actually believed they were a real company offering a real product trial.

I hope this helps someone else to think before they "try".

Big scam in Australia too. Aggressive sales. Pops up on facebook offering free samples. Invoices totaling $280. Also uses product names as Bellaplex and Collagenix. They used a woolworths logo to attract me. They recommend you use the products for 30 days prior to making a decision. They have the next payment by then. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Don't touch this!

I never accessed this companies web site and I don't know exactly how this is happening. I believe it is somehow associated with or in connection with Dash Cam Pro or they are hacking into Dash Cam Pro's web site and contacting customers that have ordered the Dash Cam Pro.

This appears to be some kind of a scam. I read other complaints about these companies. I don't know how it's happening, but it definitely is!

I bought many months ago a tub of this cream. First tub was free. The second is costing over 100 dollars. I do not feel as if I should pay for this item in the first place since I have cancelled my order. This company is calling me at work. Please get this company to stop. I have gotten better results from Avon Products.

I cannot agree or disagree with all the adverse comments made, these comments must be true by the people that have had this experience. I can only comment on my experience with Hydroxatone. I ordered a free sample, paid the postage cost $1.99 the sample arrived a 1oz-30g pot no problem whatsoever. I then found out when a second pot arrived that I was now a member and they were going to take from my credit card two amounts of$69.95 one on the 17/11/2011 and one on 17/12/2011 then a similar amount each month until I informed them that I wished to cancel my membership !. I cantacted customer services and told them I did not know anything about being a member? and wished to return the second pot only keeping the free sample, by return I recieved e.mail saying they were very sorry for the misunderstanding and that I could keep both pots and no money would be taken from my card. Result-perfect - Thank you Hydroxatone.

I have had the same problem with Hydroxatone in the UK as many of you people in USA. They do not answer emails nor telephone calls and bill you immediately while you are led to believe that you are in the 'Free Trail' period. This is an out and out scam and Hydroxatone should be brought to book and closed down. Are the authorities in US unable to do something about this company?

I had a similar experience with another company. Sent product back but they kept charging my credit card. I contacted credit card company and filed a complaint and they got my money back and cancelled my credit card and sent me a new one.
Job sorted! Now more careful and check companies out before ordering. Anon.
