The wait time for smartfriend assistance is just awful. I can't do or hear anything becasue of this annoying music. Can't you add the service that you will call us back when a technician is available. This is a waste of my time and i am extremely annoyed. Also, you website is so difficiult to navigate to find this place to complain. I am so disappointed and frustrated.

My HP D60-235DX laptop has worked fine but at the 3 year mark exactly the screen went dim, too dim to read. Rebooting it will sometimes make it go bright again, as will shutting the screen and re-opening it, or just flipping it up and down. Problem is getting worse. Itr is now 3.5 years old and thought everything else is fine this problem will probably cost more to fix than buying a new one.

LAST SIX MONTH AGO I LOST MY BATTERY BACK UP.SO THE LAPTOP ONLY RUN BY CURRENT, SO IF COMPUTER IS RUNNING & CURRENT WILL BE LOST THEN AFTER THE CURRENT WILL CAME & MY LAPTOP WILL NOT DISPLAY, WHY?
NEXT MONTH I HAVE CHANG MY DISPLAY BUT IT WILL NOT COME, SO WHAT WILL BE DO?

Last October 2010, I purchased an ink toner for my printer. They had an offer of a free wireless mouse if I purchase a package of HP color and black ink toner. It turned it was a false advertising! Calling their customer service was only a waste of my time. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. STAY AWAY CALLING THEM AS THEY ARE OUTSIDE USA AND IT WAS VERY HARD TO LET THEM UNDERSTAND.
As of now, I bought my supplies locally. It helps our community...

hp all in one..not repairable..said they would send one in 3 days..3 weeks later no printer..tec guy did not even order me one! WTF. Called them, tried 5 times to talk to a supervisor..none would answer! Two hrs of holding while they discussed with supervisors..dumb ###. I canceled everything. Good luck to anyone who tries to talk with hp..

My device would not power up. Through HP, I bought a new battery and three different power cords, none of which worked. They then said it would cost more to send it in and make a repair than it cost me to purchase the notebook PC. Additionally, the outsourced customer service reps were very hard to understand. I will NOT purchase HP products again.

We needed help but the company refused to help unless we paid to extend our warranty on a laptop. Then when they could not fix the problem they wanted us to pay an extra 400 dollars to send in the laptop and then they would try fix it. What is the point of a warranty if we still have to pay extra?

Hi,
We purchased HP Pavilion laptop a month back at best buy tampa.

it has poor performance, after using 2 hours the laptop is getting hot. booting takes lots of time. with DVD inside it won't boot at all. whatever DVD we are using the content is gettng erased and it says empty. we are not satisfied with the laptop at all. can u please telll any one faced with same issues. wat could be the problem ?

I bought this laptop on 27th of September and while trying to install the drivers, the system crashed. I sent it to the service center called Technoland on 6th of Oct and I was returned the laptop on 23rd Oct. When I came home, the laptop did not work. I gave it back to the service center on 30th Oct again and till date the laptop has not been repaired. Its been 40 days+ since I bought the laptop and have not been able to use even 1 day.

Have an HP Hd plasma tv moderl 4260N. worked great until last week now have no picture and dish network tried to help solve the problem, but I now realize I bought a lemon. The internet is full of dissatisfied customers. It is only 3 years old, and cost me around $1300, it was on sale, maybe Best Buy knew about the problem too. What to do fix or buy another?

Got a loud 'pop' then black screen on my 42' plasma hp tv. I called tech support and they said they know about the issue and they stopped fixing it for free in January of 09. Although I'm having the exact same issues a year later they want me to pay 629.00 for a tech to come 'try' to fix my problem..

I bought a Pavilion 6500 desktop for my son 18 months ago.We have sent it back twice already with a fried hard drive.This time HP doesnt want to know anything exceptfor me to pay400 bucks for a new hard drive.Obviousely this is a defective unit which HP refuses to stand by.The people you talk to on the phone are not in the USofA, very hard to understand and are programmed like a robot telling you I apologise but this will cost you

I bought a new HP Pavillion Computer with Windows 7 on it. I have spent at leasty 12 hours on the phone and in chat with technicians from HP, Ancestry.com, and microsoft. The computer does not do easy file share, home group with other Windows 7 computers and will not run the Family tree Software. It goes back to Best Buy today. The computer and the software are all crap.

I have owned model idb5220 for 2 years and have had to have the lamp replaced 5 times and 2 of those were in replacement tv that turned out to be refurbished. There was a known defect in the tv and we were never contacted and after finding out they have made no efffort to fix the problem only stating there is nothing that can be done because we are now out of warranty.

I bought a HP officejet 6500. I installed the software as required. I can not get the computer to find the printer on the network. I have been on this for 4 hours. Finally I called HP support. They will not offer any support unless I pay 139.00. That is what I paid for the printer. Absolutely no support unless I pay. I am taking it back then I will buy another brand. IDIOTS. OH yea, I cant understand PAKISTANISE.

i bought a hp laptop on 8/17/08, it has been back to the store 7 times already and been sent back to the factory 3 times. All I have asked is to give me a store credit so I could get another one, but Im told they need to keep sending back to the manufacturer. Well I have had it for 9 months and I havnt spend a 1/2 hour on it yet, Im so discussed it with it that it just sits in the corner

I am constantly getting a message my printer is off line. I have to uninstall, then reinstall it every time!. I have been on with tech support for this same issue, at least three times. They don't have any answers, except to say this is unusual! I should have learned from my last HP printer!

I bought HP cartrige C7115X from Stales. The drum is damaged. All the printed papers has many dark spots. I called HP technical support. They said that they can not do anything about it. Any time I have problem with the printer, HP representative always convince me to buy HP cartridge. Now, the cartridge has problem, even under the warrenty, they said that they can not do anyting about it. It is bad service.

My HP DV60000 failed after 3 years very light service. It was my third computer back up and I have had two PC experts diagnose a motherboard failure. The best guess is that it's the integrated graphics card. Having read many articles on this computer and it's faults I would like to know if anyone has successfuly tackled HP on the product not being fit for purpose?

I have been trying for 3 weeks to get a Compaq Notebook 6515b reparied. According to support, they are shipping a box to me, overnight, to send the Laptop to a repair center.

I have been told this 4 times, and still have not received a box to send it back to them.

DO NOT PURCHASE HP LAPTOPS...THEY ARE ABSOLUTE TRASH.

I had purchased a HP Printer (model no. K209A) on 12th August, 2011 and according to the offer I was supposed to get a 1000 rupees gift voucher (Reebok shoe).

The printer support team was trying to get my HP printer to work under Windows 7. In the process they deleted some files making the machine so it boots to a black screen. They ruined my machine which I will have to rebuild. They didn't fix the problem and they won't refund my $39.00

HP always tries to install extra software like "Shop for HP supplies" This is pretty much AdWare which is usually removed by your anti-virus software. It makes your computer run slow and is about 400 MB of junk you don't need. What a scandalous company!

I was accessing Hewlet Packard directly and had no idea that you were involved. I have a warrantee in service and did not receive an answer from you. In any case you charged me three times and I never received an answer from you. Please refund all charges immediately.
