Despues de hacer hecho como 20 llamadas desde EU, por fin logre que en recepcion me dijeran que este psiquiatra no tenia espacio para la segunda semana de julio. Hable con la secretaria del Dr. Millan o una persona quien me contesto primero y me dijo que tenia una cita disponible para este lunes 25. No puedo porque viajo hasta el 28, me dijo que en la recepcion me daban la cita. Me pasaron hasta con Medicina Nuclear. Por fin, hable con recepcion y me pidieron de tan mala manera mi correo electronico que me quede pasmada. Que pretenden ustedes? Y por que me envian tanta informacion en mi correo acerca de sus servicios? Yo me he realizado examenes en su hospital, pero como ayer fue espantoso. (NO TENGO TILDES). Puedo comunicarme en ingles tal vez asi si lo atienden a uno bien. ESTE SERVICIO DE QUEJAS ES RIDICULO TAMBIEN.

The appointment went fine. The problem came when a week later, after ordering $750 worth of blood tests he didn't want to see the results and redacted my clinical diagnoses he made that day and referred me to a psychiatrist. This is a terribly misogynistic doctor. I have never encountered such treatment in my life. To add insult to injury, he made up a couple of diagnoses to try to invalidate my insurance/prohibit me from submitting for reimbursement (added codes for Cannabis Addiction hoping I wouldn't look up the code? BTW, I answered no and actually really dislike cannabis, but I live on the caribbean side, so I must be an abuser, right? Wrong!) and diagnosing bipolar disorder, which became his crusade- never mind my numb, tingling arm and legs. At the end of the visit, he was talking about MRI and nerve conduction studies AFTER the very expensive blood testing.
Turns out he's just trying to discredit me for some reason and is not interested in my neurological problems (I have a brain tumor, spondylosis, scoliosis and other nervous system problems). Has redacted all of his diagnoses to "probable" and referred me to a psychiatrist! I've never been treated this way by a medical professional in my life. He's a gigantic a-hole. Avoid. I'm from New York City (Manhattan) and have never experienced anything like this bizarre power trip and willful neglect of my very real symptoms. Doesn't even want to know the results of the blood tests. When question about why, he got very defensive. I was referred for Malingering. Consider yourself warned.
